Today I've encountered a cheater and I knew it right away since he blinded me from nowhere. I confirmed he was cheating when facing the wall and he kept blinding me…so whatever, I refused to engage in the game and suddenly I got dc'd from the game and got matchmaking banned. I just got done playing a round as Micheal Myers with the perk Hex: Face the Darkness. I had killed a survivor and the hex was still active but turns out I also managed to find a bug. Apparently the hex can still affect the dead as if they are alive. I went back to the spot cause of said notification but I also heard no scream from the location. We're a little ways away from Maps initially being reworked now, and I think it's fair to say the rework didn't quite land where it should have. Keys got a borderline perfect rework, but Maps are languishing, which I'd like to try and fix. Now, there's a lot about the Map rework that I do like, so we'll be keeping the overall shape. The first's vine attack is an ability that requires fast reflexes for both sides however the unintuitiveness of the targeting of the attack and the clunkiness when it comes to elevation practically limits the ability if you want consistency and to avoid frustration. So I spent 6 hours on Twitch to get the rewards and still nothing. My accounts are all linked and I clicked claim on the reward. That's not the issue. As a soloq survivor, I lose matches all the time. It's not unusual to have a situation where almost everybody is death hook at four gens. Yet it never feels like a miserable defeat to me. It doesn't feel PERSONAL. I never get the feeling like the killer is doing things on purpose to get under my skin. Almost every Billy i face has this + Spiked Boots. I don't get why this add-on hasn't been changed yet. It's not like Billy is a weak killer yet it just allows him to brute force every tile without any thought. Just forces safe predropping since almost every single good read you do as survivor in a tile gets you hit becouse he is zooming at Mach10 compared to normal base-kit speed. I've seen a uptick of this behaviour again, and it's really annoying me. EDIT: POSTED IT TOO SOON, LOL Me and my friends did an experiment on running 4 toolboxes with BNPs. On 10 matches, we got like 8 with killers doing 1 or 2 hooks only, or only 2 of those getting a kill. Why toolboxes still exist like this? Seems like BHVR is considering adding a ranked/tournament mode in DBD from what we’ve seen in today’s feedback survey. My only concern with that is the queue times being messed up especially when we have events. I know the devs have been working on anti-tunneling but whatever they've done up till now is NOT working. I am a relatively new player and after playing survivor for 40 hours or so I tried playing killer on custom games against bots and with the shuffle against players. Killer feels like you are forced to play a game by not the rules because ‘tunneling’ and ‘slugging’ is not wanted and seen detrimental to gameplay. As you could have seen with Steve, people get upset when their favorite character's voice is completely swapped with another one. It feels like a different character, different vibe. And while maybe you had to change his voice due to licensing reasons (I have no clue), you should hopefully have complete freedom over the original survivors. If I can heal someone 35% faster, then I want to be healed 35% faster too! What kind of 'connection' is that that only works one way? I don't know why, but I like this perk and i use it sometimes in my healing build even though it's really weak. Regarding the Fog Carnival: The "Be chased for 30 seconds in a single trial" should be 4x higher in required seconds vs "Chase for 120 seconds in a single trial" due to math. There are 4x more opportunities to get chased for a short period of time than there is for chasing longer than the killer should. Last four games I just played in SoloQ, every single match had a Surv that was cheating and "escaped" the match with 5 gens to be left. At least two of them 99% all the gens on the map before dipping, so the game was cut short.
