Just saw my local DBD Discord Group and saw my Survivor Main friends go Killer for the BPs (Cakes/Flans). It was not a pretty sight seeing Killers Camping, Tunneling and bringing the most powerful Builds/Add Ons. The reason is that Gens fly too fast, they don't know how to loop as Killer and they don't know how to properly cope with the stress. Aura perks are super common nowadays. BBQ, Darkness Revealed, Floods of Rage, Nurse's Calling, Undying and Lethal Pursuer are all pretty widely used. The main issue that Distortion has always had is that it doesn't protect teammates during Co-op action. Why not have a general "wallet" or "bank" that you have access and can offer these special event offerings with any charachter. I hate that the cakes stay on one charachter when your leveling them up. For instance, right now I was leveling up Yun Gin. And I currently have over 50 cakes. The DC ban needs to be set to have it so only people that manually leave a match will get a ban timer and not people that end up having network failures, console crashes, pc crashes, power failures, no network connection, failure to load in a match, ect... Once again, the killer only has to pick up the cosmetic to get it. But the survivor has to survive to the very end of the match. Why? All this means is that survivors will bust ass to ensure that they can actually get to that point, and killers are going to go hard in response. I get to use it in 1 of like 20 games or so. If that. I get plenty of value out of dh, iw and even woo. But ds is too situational and I feel like those rare games I get to use it are not really worth it looking at the bigger picture. Yes as many others posts have already said it I will repeat it. But no I will not bring flans into matches. Only have played survivor but the amount of tunneling, camping, BM'ing I've dealt with I am just not dealing with it. I am not wasting my flans for jerks playing like that. And u want to tell me this Perk isnt Busted ? I know the mods and team members see all these threads popping up on the forum about toxicity on the first day and terrible matchmaking. This is just the first day of 13 of the event. I've seen so many people say that they tried to have fun only for a toxic killer/survivor to ruin the match. Toxic killers and/or survivors making the match awful or taking forever to find a pedestal, finding one, grabbing the invitation, getting to endgame, the game tells you that you unlocked a cosmetic, then nothing. I guess option C would be both of those things happening at the same time. I always, thoroughly enjoy and love the anniversary events. The atmosphere, to the fun lobby screen, the in game accessory changes to gens and hooks. The event exclusive items. The awesome loading screens. I enjoy all of it! and every minute of it! From the 4th anniversary, 5th and 6th. Thanks Behaviour :) for making the events really awesome and memorable!! I've done this enough times to have completed the challenge several times but I've only gotten credit for 1. You know how most survivors hang out in the gate for whatever reason they need to justify it and you don't want to interact? Each locker lock broken is 200 points besides the normal points for breaking pallets and walls. That really adds up as long as you don't have the addon that breaks locks when the last-gen pops. I'm just a mediocre killer main that came here to beg the survivors to play normally. I've done like 5-6 matches now and how every single one of them looks like? ALL survivors hiding, not touching gens and waiting for other survivors to die so they can claim a mask. One game people were intentionally sandbagging each other just to make them die faster. Many players are coming back for this. And the last thing they want to see is hyper sweat. I've been running stealth builds on killers and doing some of the community challenges. Playing but never killing anyone. And many people have been thankful for this. I don't dare to play any survivor during this event because I know these events bring out those types. As a killer main end game chat often has one or 2 people calling me a tunneling. Now honestly I don't tunnel. Not purposly anyway but it seems that the term "Tunneling" has had its meaning widened to mean "you killed me before end game you tunneled me" Here is what I believe is and isnt tunneling. His anti-loop really makes no sense. You charge the shock, hit them, they're paralysed for 2.5 seconds but then you also slow down enough that you can't really make it to them in time. I've tried multiple strategies to make the shocks work. I've tried to not spam shock and time it right. Doesn't really work. Spam shocks just slow you down and do nothing. I feel like they need to be easier obtained. Like we have so many survivors and killers and they keep coming. And new people will have to decide between buying a perk from the Shrine or saving for a character.
