And I have just read a thread a few hours ago declaring that the blood web and its mechanic are the flagship or the face of DBD and that many players, mainly veterans, would quit if this "iconic" mechanic would get changes. 😂😂😂
I don't hate it completely, its hating getting new characters I hate. It becomes more of a hassal having to wait for so long just to get to a certain player level
-
Ruin and Surveillance was one of my favorite combos. Though you have said you won't drop those specific perks, I have a few builds to recommend.
Ruin, Surveillance, Brutal Strength (or Enduring), and a random 4th perk.
The basic Legion build (Ruin, Dying Light, Thanataphobia, Sloppy)
Also, I believe Enduring to be better than Brutal on Legion. This is pure opinion but I like the fact that I can swing at a survivor sitting at a pallet without worrying about being punished so much.

No, thats not what he was saying. He was just using toxic SWF as example, because Scott plays more killer.
The reason why this community is so toxic, because both sides have tools to allow it. You can equip certain things, you can play in certain ways where its just unfun for the other side, no matter how you look at it.
And since the tools for both sides are different (a killer cant flashlight click survivors), people tend to let out their frustrations on the people in the future matches, instead of the ones that caused the frustrations in the first place. This then ends in an endless circle of toxicity, because of human nature.
Both sides are responsible for the toxicity, and especially the developers (because they give us the tools to do it).
Whilst I do agree that toxicity is caused by both sides. I do not agree with blaming the devs for said toxicity. Yes they have given the tools, but they were given with pure intentions. The players if the game have taken simple objects and attached a negative connotation to them.
Flashlights, for example, are used to help others and to strengthen your chance of escaping a chase. A group decided that flashlights can be more than that.
Killers will sometimes take advantage of newer players or something survivors can not fight back against. Face camping is a good example. If survivors aren't equipped with the right tools, their friend is as good as dead.
We cannot blame the Devs for something we, as a community, promoted and still do.

except for corn maps, 2 seconds is enough distance to get to a pallet or window tbh.
Not on that one atrocious corn map. I forget it's name. Rotten Fields?
-
I think it should be 3 or 4 second stun. 2 gives a survivor no chance to escape unless they've been downed by a structure.
-
Reduce gen times by a little (they can take forever)
Add in an early game mechanic (pretty sure that's already happening, hopefully)
Tweak some of the earlier perks (some of them have 0 use atm)
-
Megs...
They are evil. They will never do gens and get downed about 5 seconds into a chase
-
Depending on how much they contributed, I'll save. For example, a baby Meg who got downed within the first 10 seconds of her chase. Let's just say my gen was "close" to being finished.
But if it's someone who did over half the gens while me and another ran the killer, they get saved. I treat them like God. Randos barely do gens anymore. The ones i get anyways.

I guess it comes down to personal preference. I personally like the look of Felix's outfit, though the shorts need to go! Kates seems a little OTT for my liking. It just looks like she'd trip over in that huge dress trying to run from the killer. Though it does look super nice. May have to get all 3 of them
I think the reason i hate it a lot is because in the picture Felix looks really weird. He has a hunchback and it throws me off. It might look better in game

I'll think of lore later but here's my perks.
SHARP EARS: ( Years of singing and picking apart music has sharpened your ears to the slightest change in sound)
The sound of all actions sound 50/75/100% quieter to you. The killers terror radious becomes 10/15/20% more discernable.
MY HIDING SPOT: (The closet has become your best friend, keeping you safe in times of fear.)
While hiding in a locker, you no longer gain the blindness effect. Upon entering a locker, you see the killers aura for 2/3/4 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.
OUTSMART AND HIDE: (Your brain brought you to the top of the class and now it helps again)
After being in the killers terror radious for 30/25/20 seconds, click the activate ability button to activate the perks effects. After pressing the activate ability button, lose your scratch marks for 4/8/12 seconds.
-
Her heartbeat is 20 meters. And the lullaby is 40 meters. The reasoning is that Huntress is a long range killer, so the lullaby is used as a small heads up to survivors.

What if it was a SWF that ran No Mither and it was against an Oni, that would really break him.
Doesn't Oni build his power passively? There are add-ons that increase the rate of passive charge. He would, after a while, be able to use blood fury.

Running Visionary and Deja Vu is counter-productive since both do pretty much the same thing, one being better than the other with little difference. Not mentioning after some game experience you learn where all generators are located without needing to see them with Deja Vu and can recognize a 3-gen situation and avoid it.
- Visionary
- Detective's Hunch
- Prove Thyself
- Better Together
How about this perk combo? You can switch Prove Thyself / Better Together with an exhaustion perk or something else. I'd keep Better Together, as it works quite well with the build and maybe switch Prove Thyself, IMO
Also yeah, I have thought of your build before at 5 AM when I was sleeping, I have the build registered HamleEagle™ and will be looking to sue
Oh! Plz don't sue, I already cry enough
-
I feel like Distortion needs one more stack at tier 3. That would make it better
-
I don't see why you're complaining. You get a 3k! Only one survivor escaped, which means you "played" well. And besides if they can't kill themselves, they'll probably just DC

It is not the same. You don't need to "enhance" a game for it to run better on stronger hardware.
Ps4 pro has more raw compute power allowing higher framerate.
I have also played this on a release day xbox one and it is shockingly bad compared to the base ps4 as it is even weaker.
I can't imagine what it is like on the switch.
Let me tell you what it's like on Switch...
Absolutely horrid.

I play on the Switch and as far as I know I am able to play on the Badham maps. I don't know about facing Freddy.

LMAO. you think pig and legion's strong suits are loop play.
No I think Legion strong suit is keeping everyone injured, and Pig's is stalling a game. Their powers can help with shutting down a loop. For example you can FF and block someone from a pallet. You can use your ambush to surprise and catch someone off guard. I like to fake it a lot. Crouch and prepare for the ambush but stand back up and hit then with an M1.

Maybe you could have told your opinion in threads where people debate of this kind of topic to avoid making a rant thread.
Proabably, but I'm tired of everyone playing the victim card. Before you yell about something needed changed for the other side, try to play red rank as that side. Understand the perk before yelling about it.
-
I'm a red rank killer and i have a 2K average for every game. You just want to complain. Survivors, specifically solo Q, are weak. They rely on meta perks cause they can't depend on teammates. I agree some killes need a lil tweaking but other than that, everything you said just conveys this , "I can't get a 4k every game and that is stupid. I am the best killer out there." You've heard of entitled survivors, now meet the entitled killer.
-
I heavily dislike the new auras. It's almost impossible to see. I played on Mount Ormond and with the constant fall of snow, it became very difficult to see gens. Same with the doors. The yellowish white blended right in with the snow covered rocks. I've seen some of DBD's colorblind players say it makes it harder for them too. Please change it back to old auras.
Now on to the second part. I've finally started having fun. After P3ing Nea and unlocking every perk on her, J moved on to Killer. Don't bash me, but Legion has always been my Killer main (second is Oni). I've finally discovered a few good builds for them. If you want to, you can leave feedback about builds.
B1: Dying Light, Infectious Fright, PWYF, Ruin
B2) Dying Light, Ruin, Surveillance, Blood Echo
B3) STBFL, Sloppy Butcher, Nurses, M&A

Lisa was a real person, she was trapped inside the otherworld, all of what is in the otherworld is what Alessa saw things as so Lisa would have been like the other nurse enemies if that was the case that she was part of the otherworld.
I don't think Lisa was real in SH. She was real be forehand. The reason she is there is her part in Alessa's past. Alessa liked Lisa and so she stayed the same. (SPOILER) I think Lisa died the way she did was because of her guilt. She felt Alessa's state was her fault.

Look if you aren’t gonna add anything helpful don’t reply it is not bannable cuz if that were the case Otzdarva would be banned as he runs this on PH and is where I found this out so I wanted to know if I should not get too attached to the extra effect if it’s gonna be patched
It's most likely gonna be patched. And I was warning that you could get banned. Nothing more.

Rank no longer means skill. Period. Someone can be a Rank 1 yet still play like they are new, and a Rank 10 can play like an absolute beast. That's just how it is

Ive just enough had it with this game, its seriously becoming a stressor and bringing out negative emotions when i play it, or even read about it honestly on these forums.
Their bug fixes still didnt fix all the nurse bugs on the new map, just 1 that prevented her from going out of the world apparently, deadzones still untouched and borderline unplayable there.
Yeah these devs seriously blow, and are so out of touch its comical. Screw DBD
Please take your negativity somewhere else. The OP is trying to be positive about the new hotfix.

It’s not exploiting it at all if it’s just what happens with the two perks I’m not gonna stop running good perks if it is just a bug
You actively know that these perks have an issue with them, yet you're using them. This is exploiting. You're taking advantage of something wrong and using it. That is banable. I am warning you that if someone catches you, you might get banned.
-
I like to play Pig, a lot. I have a few builds for you. But it depends on how you want to play her. Build 1 is more sneak, Build 2 is more aggressive, Build 3 is for controlling gens more
1.) Monitor and Abuse (for a smaller TR), Whispers (To know when to crouch), Nurse's Calling (To give info when crouched), Sloppy Butcher (to go with nurse's but you can change it for something else.)
2.) Save The Best For Last (helps during chases), Ruin, Surveillance, Enduring
3.) Surge, BBQ, Pop Goes The Weasel, and whatever perk you want.

No how it works rn is they will not see a gen aura I’ve tested it it’s basically a bug but I’m wondering if since it’s not too harmful if it will stay
If it's a bug then you can be banned for exploiting it.
-
Only the killer sees Surveillance auras, survivors don't see regressing gen auras. They would only see the yellow highlight of the gen you kicked.
-
For survivor, I'm either playing Cheryl or Nea. And with killer, either Legion or Oni. I'm wanting to change from Oni to Pig though.
-
I have a few Legion builds, lemme show you them.
1) Blood Echo, Pop, BBQ, STBFL
2) Ruin, Surveillance, Dying Light, Thanataphobia
3) Enduring, Blood Echo, Thanataphobia, Pop

It depends on how I wanna play. If I feel like helping teammates I run [Bond, Autodidact, Borrowed Time, Adrenaline]
If I want to do gens [Repressed Alliance, Sprint Burst, Poised, Dark Sense]
And just for when I want to do both [Iron Will, Resilience, Spine Chill, Empathy]

wasnt looking gens because I was placing traps, I don't use corrupt because it were going to be a problem to my actual strat, also I usually use whispers to know if someone is watching me place traps
If you were using whispers then you'd know they were on the closest gen to you.
-
Some people are trying to give you advice, yet you respond to them with negativity. If gens were done that fast, it was a lack on your part as killer. If they finished the gens by you, it means you disregarded checking on them. If this was as big a problem, you should've adapted to what had happened in your previous games. Like many have said use Corrupt Intervention. It allows you to force survivors to one half of the map. If you run Whispers too that helps you find someone quicker.

While I still firmly believe that FNAF is simply not scary enough to be in DBD, I do think that if a FNAF chapter happens, Springtrap is the best bet.
How would his power work? How would he attack? Hes never seen attacking anything in the games. Would his M1 be bitchslapping a survivor with his hand?

It doesn't have to be scary enough to get into DBD. At this point DBD is no longer a 'scary game'. Stranger Things isn't necessarily scary yet they changed Demogorgon to be scarier. If need be they can amp up the characters horror aspects to fit what they want.

Can I ask why save the best for last?
It helps when I go against people who don't cleanse. It allows me slowly build stacks and punish then harder for being injured. And it helps me down faster so I can puke on someone or something.
-
I have two to three versions of a build
1.) Devour Hope, Corrupt Intervention, Infectious Fright, PGTW
Devour Hope can be hidden with your corrupt purge, I find it very useful when working.
2.) Monitor & Abuse, Ruin, Surveillance, BBQ
3.) Save The Best For Last, Corrupt Intervention, M&A, PGTW

PIG'S LUNGE? Is the survivors #########? Can't they hear it? And Spirit? Again a killer which ignores pallets...
I said Spirit Fury, the perk. Not Spirit. And yes they can hear Pig's windup noise. But it is very easy to look one direction and fake it. Then turn. As I've said before, watch Otzdarva for killer tips.
-
Your responses to comments shows that you won't take any constructive criticism. You say you are good at Legion and Pig, yet you can't seem to shut down a loop as them (assuming you played them). That's their strong suits. Pig's lunge can surprise someone. Legion's power allows them to jump over a pallet. Legion is at their best during a chase. If you want killer tips watch Otzdarva. Do not blame maps for your lack of skill. And if chases are difficult, use chase perks. Enduring and Spirit Fury are good for a chase.
I would've liked to see op's response to this but it seems they've given up

David is definitely bi imo. IDK why but definitely..
My Jake is straight 100%. He is way too much of a tough lumber man to be anything else.
Nea and Meg.... definitely not straight lol.
My friend thinks his Kate is lesbian. My Kate is straight!
I see Ace as straight, a whole dad, but he, again, thinks he's a gay dad. I see that though.
Dwight, against all odds, just seems more like a straight guy who doesn't give a f*ck about what people say about him.
I have mixed feelings against Yui.. I think she's confused. LMAO
Kate gives off top bi vibes. Especially when you pair her biker top with a pair of shorts.
