I went against a Trapper earlier and something felt off. At first, I attributed the fact that he was faster than normal to perks. After a while i started to think something was wrong. He was breaking pallets and recovering from hits faster than what felt like normal. When he picked people up he moved so fast that the Trapper character model couldn't keep up with how fast he moved. I feel like they need to be easier obtained. Like we have so many survivors and killers and they keep coming. And new people will have to decide between buying a perk from the Shrine or saving for a character. I played DBD on switch for the longest time cause it was the cheapest online membership option. I had gotten a lot of stuff and have since moved to PC. My friend's ps4 had experienced a black screen of death and they had to reinitialized it. He had purchased DBD before this happened so he was able to download it upon finishing the initialization. It said he still had to do the tutorials and after finishing them everything else is still locked. Can anyone help? Edit: I think we found the problem. Fibally after a whole year of abstaining from DBD, I have decided to play it again. And it still feels relatively the same. I forgot how weird low ranks were. After being red ranks for so long, being rank 12 is different. I still experience the same problems for getting kicked out of queue for no reason tho. (i have a feeling this should go into bug reports but I can't post in it) My game seems to be bugged atm. After opening up DBD and skipping the cutscene, my game was off. I played some matches today and something was REALLY off. My sounds were janked as heck. I played against a PH and everytime he did his M2, I could hear it map wide. Same with Oni. Everytime he was stunned, roared, collected blood, and his footsteps during Blood Fury. I know his roaring should be map wide but it sounded DIRECTLY behind me even though I was across the map. In all honesty, it's been pretty negative. I play on Nintendo Switch (which appears to be the worst of all platforms in the eyes of others). With the recent release of cross play and cross friending, I decided to take advantage and play with a friend. She plays on PC and I play on the Switch. After spending times on this forum and seeing what people say, I've come to a conclusion. This game will never be balanced. It can't. The skill of the players will forever hurt a change. The Devs will try to give a change to help new people, but the older players will complain. The purple add on that causes hemorrhage needs to be changed. Even from a survivor's perspective it is weak. Maybe you could make it break pallets, but give a longer cooldown to punishment of the damned. (Only like half a second or a second). I don't really know. I see a few of people saying, "Adding this was unnecessary and not needed." If you think that, just don't worry about this. The devs want to go more in depth with the backstories of characters, so sexuality might've come into play at some point. It's not a big thing. I've been seeing lots of people talk about their concerns and others talk about how excited they are. I, for one, am a mix of both. It could be fun, but the PC players scare me. I like to play on the Switch (add me) and the game is already relatively bad sometimes. My biggest fear is getting a VPN killer. That would ruin the game entirely. I've seen countless people encourage boring mechanics. I understand they're in the game, but they make it boring for everyone. But I've realized that survivors can pull and UNO reverse card. I was playing a game yesterday and had the most peculiar killer. The person was playing as Spirit. I expected him to be very good at downing us quickly and I was right. At 5 gens he downed a Claudette. I went over to the Claudette and unhooked her. And out of nowhere came the Spirit. No phasing sound, no heartbeat. He tunneled the Claudette and downed her again. After the map changes, I've realized that I enjoy them a little bit. I think they were good changes but I don't want every map exactly like the others. I don't want every map to be small and even. I want a map where I have to try. I would just like if we kept a survivor sided map and a killer sided map, to throw in some spice. Also the new purgation map feels super small. I was playing against a Wraith and during a chase I dropped a pallet. He managed to get stuck in the center of the pallet. He only got freed because i had Any Means Necessary. Resetting the pallet didn't free him. I had to reset it and stun him again to free him. I've had this happen to me twice. How often does this happen?1 comments 21 views last activity

I see people complain about DS a lot. I mean a lot. I've never used it but am considering doing so because I tend to get tunneled 7 out of 10 games. I even made a few rules for myself for future use. 1.) If the killer hooked someone else and DS is still active, don't hit the skill check 2.) Toxicity is on both sides. I don't care what you say. Killers and survivors can be toxic. For example my last game. I was sandbagged by a Zarina multiple times and saved in front of the killer with no borrowed time by her. The Killer tunneled and face camped. There were 4 gens left.
