This map feels old and outdated. It doesnt really look good and the collision feels terrible. It is also a very large map with a wide gen spread. The main building is also extremley strong, it has 3 god pallets, a god vault, and it is in the middle which makes it easy to get too. It allows for survivors to get to other strong loops like shack and jungle gyms easy. It feels terrible to play as on13 comments 221 views last activity

Based on the statements from BHVR ahead of its release I was expecting 2 v 8 to be almost unplayable on the Switch. To my surprise, it runs quite well. I haven't experienced any noticeable performance issues. I'm sure it runs and looks better on other platforms but I'm happy overall with the performance on Switch. this is mostly in reference to me playing survivor. 1v4 killer is still fine as killer cuz I can use my fun builds. 2v8 killer is a blast too cuz I can play with my non killer main friends who suck and make me laugh. But there is a vast difference in survivor experience between the two modes. I did several 2v8 and 1v4 matches to get a decent idea of the difference in fun FOR SURVIVOR. Because of the queues, BHVR made the (correct) decision to make the matchmaking almost non-existent for the 2v8 game mode test. Unfortunately, this has lead to the Killers basically having 20 second "test chases" and if a Survivor doesn't immediately go down they just avoid them and find someone easier because there will be an easier survivor just by chance since there's no matchmaking. I wonder if you like the Nurse and Knight's chase music. I just feel very intrigued by the way there is no growth in the layers of the nurse's music despite it not being at all fitting for her. Same thing I have to Knight’s and Chucky’s chase terror radius, although I think it's suitable for them. friend of mine tries to get back into the game for 2v8, but his mouse sensitivity does not change when he tries changing them in the settings. Like they dont react to his choice. Cause its no altruism mechanic for survivors. Dealing with flashlight/ pallet/ sabo saves and bodyblocking when you carry a survivor already nightmare to deal with on the original game. Dealing with altruists is worst experience on killer side i prefer any day gen rush squad. When i play against them i think "stop being a hero and do your gens, stop waisting my time". Im gonna address the major unfun BS on both sides First off extremely unfun that the major killer strategy is to just hard focus one survivor making loops and vaults completely meaningless. If a survivor is injured and hit by the second killer they SHOULD gain endurance to give the survivor a chance to stall longer if you can gut Knight you can do this in 2V8. So I was thinking about the scratch mark portraits, the Legacy 2.0 from the grind reduction. Does that count as a "platform exclusive cosmetic" since it's a cosmetic or will that also transfer to other accounts? I have a steam, epic games (not in use but got when it was free), playstation, and switch account, switch being the oldest of the 4 and has all the Legacy portraits. the official faq says " Are cosmetics (Outfits, Charms, etc.) transferred between platforms? Yes, your cosmetic items will be shared between platforms. I bought Jill, Leon, and Nemesis with cells a while back on Xbox and when I synced my account for cross progression to Steam they were the only characters that I was missing. I can still see their prestige levels but the only way for me to access them was to spend the cells (again) or buy the DLC. This skill is ridiculously fun to use. I love crouching and giving a teammate wall hacks and being stealthy about it with the increased crouching. It's the most fun I've had in awhile in dbd. I love this mode and the killers are having fun too. I cannot wait for this to come back permanent and with more killers. This is so amazing. Hey I just tried to Sync my dead by daylight account with my Xbox but I keep on getting the We encountered a problem while syncing your progress. Try again later. Error. I saw the forums of this error and says you need to upgrade your dead by daylight account to its latest version. I Like the new Mode a Lot, but the time you need to find a Lobby is way too long. We know all the Problem to manny Killer. Not enough survivor. This is a Party Mode, nothing serious, why they fill Not the holes with Bots? IT Takes 14 min+ to find a Match. Just had hacker teammate (huntress) in 2vs8. I played the game normally as she seemed really good and I was mostly not with her but she had auto aim and could hit anyone no matter where they were at the end. And to do it, instead of playing with a random killer, I've played with a friend who has never played killer and hasn't played DbD since the Trickster was released. After we lost a few games (but still had a lot of fun) he stopped and I went back to solo-Q and resumed winning games with 7 or 8 kills. From the killer point of view, I've won all my matches where both killers were decent and lost off my matches where the other killer was beginner (tried with a friend who only knew survivor) The won matches often went down to the last gen but progressively killing survivors was too much even for the best players I've versed. This new 2v8 mode got me thinking, why are we so limited thinking there has to be 4 survs for 1 killer? I'm envisioning a hardcore 4v4 mode, but with superbuffed survivors to compensate for their number. We should go all out and give the survs whatever they need to overcome, like smoke grenades, stun grenades, tasers, sprint burst on demand, invisibility cloaks, a rope to tie up the killers etc.7 comments 151 views last activity
