Vast majority of people are aware of this. The perk Streetwise currently has a bug that allows survivors to gain infinite item charges by following specific steps and methods, especially when combined with offerings like Shiny Coin to make it even easier, but hey, you can't see when people are abusing this apparently.
If the dev team doesn’t see this as something that completely breaks game balance, particularly when paired with strong medkits, toolboxes, or keys, then what exactly qualifies as "game-breaking" anymore?
We used to have leadership that actually took bug abuse seriously. You were banning people for exploiting bugs they didn't even know they were using. Now? Survivors are knowingly abusing this exploit in real matches and nothing happens. We've seen smaller, barely-noticed bugs get kill-switched within hours, often without clear reasoning or communication. So what’s the excuse here?So the question is:
Do the devs seriously not view this as game-breaking? Or is it just being ignored because it benefits survivors? The bare minimum should be a temporary kill switch on Streetwise until this is fixed. And before anyone rushes in with “the devs don’t work on weekends”, this bug has been public for almost a full week. It was even reported during the PTB, along with other perk-related bugs… still nothing.
Congratulations, devs. Survivors now have infinite item charges, all thanks to a perk that should have been disabled days ago.
Congrats you got to keep wesker’s hug techs as well. Unlike hug techs this bug is recent and not survivor players fault it exist. Nobody told them to rework streetwise. This bug would have also had to exist on ptb so the fact nothing was said before live now y’all wanna try to take action against a bug that ptb players knew about first and didn’t report it. Atp they should stop opening ptb because it’s not being used as intended.

Title With Streetwise giving infinite item charges and Blood rush clearing exhaustion while Sprinting why won't Devs Ban the people that abuse these perks or at the very least Killswitch the perks? Its pretty warranted and game breaking right now.

The same way they didn’t ban the people abusing Blight hug tech or currently Wesker’s hug tech.

Since Legion recent cooldown buffs legions have been using these short cooldowns to vault windows and pallets cancel and get hits before survivors can react or make enough distance even more so paired with iri button.
Iri button should be reworked to be similar to be like Kaneki iri to require it to get 2 to 3 frenzy hits before pallets can be destroyed.
Also, your agenda with trying to justify nerfing a killer with another killer that is highly more oppressive than them is not going to work. You really just tried to compare a auto hit killer to one that has to manually hit survivors with lunges. Even then Kaneki can literally vault pallets and survivors can't vault back over them like they can with legion.

You cannot be serious right now when you're probably the same player who kills themselves on hook and go next when you see a nurse but here you are complaining about legion. Skill issue.
-
Nah, keep this perk the way it is. Killswitched for what? They didn’t killswitch ghoul for being overpowered for weeks now. Refused to nerf him until he went live so what’s the problem with one perk having that kind of effect which barely makes much of a impact when nobody has really been running this perk. 😂

The fact that you can't hide in a locker to avoid it is really dumb, like at least with BBQ you can if you are outside the 40m range
When have you ever been able to avoid a scream in a locker? This isn’t the regular aura reading perks it’s the aura reading like ultimate weapon and infectious fright but he can activate his by just hooking while enraged and it’ll globally find every other survivor. It’s also been nerfed to anything further than 40m. At least it incentivizes him to not go tunnel people and look for other targets. And wouldn’t calm spirit completely counter this add-on just as ultimate weapon was countered by this same perk. So, if you’re still complaining about being found by his add-on maybe you should considering bringing calm spirit.

Good, glad it's gone. It was annoying to play against.

Yes. Blight can't Inst down anymore. That got nerfed for a good reason.
You know what blight has to get? Two hits. He also has to respect God pallets like most other killers do.
Just would like to remind of the aspect, that chucky got his scamper removed entirely just because of it being a guaranteed hit at pallets. Ghoul has the exact same thing at a lot of pallets, gets free deep wound THROUGH walls AND has blight - tier mobility.
But yes. He has to get the second hit (partially) without his power. By that I mean he can use his power to block anything you could use and then get the very hard earned m1.
Please excuse the sarcasm, but I'm growing rather tired of people defending the state of this killer.
It's not completely the same thing because ghouls is quicker when they released chucky they nerfed his scamper and it was not as quick as the ghoul one. The ghoul's fast vault can only be triggered if the survivor is just standing in front the pallet or window and all the ghoul gotta do is bait you to stand in front of them and get a easy fast vault because of the hit scan icon normally without the icon which can only be triggered on a survivor it wouldn't be as quick unlike what scamper was on ptb being able to scamper over pallets effortlessly without the need for survivors to doing anything. Now, he is kinda like chucky when it came to just using his power and having little cooldown recovery after especially when he leaps right behind a survivor and cancels power it feels just like when chucky had a slight slowdown animation for using his power for distance. He's pretty op when it comes to that.

Blight could also down you in one hit or use the power to get a down.
Blight cannot down you in one hit anymore they been reworked that add-on and that was on the last rush token you could down someone in one hit. Most people did not use that add-on. They were more of a fan of the other iri because it hindered survivors when you bump and rushes broke pallets effortlessly.

I dunno, we pointed this out during the PTB and it wasn't fixed. If it was a game-breaking bug like it is, I'd imagine they would have fixed it first.
Well, it's clearly a bug because more times than not he cannot do that when latching onto a survivor he has a cooldown period just like when he is stunned after hitting somebody in his power and he goes through that short pallet stun animation and can attack almost immediately like as if he has the old enduring when it was 75%. Those are clearly bugs and just because something isn't fixed immediately doesn't make them intended. Just like oni flicks and plague not being stunned out her power by any stun those existed for years and then finally fixed. Obviously, since this is a new killer and they see the complaints these are going to be fixed sooner than later. The oni flicks and plague wasn't as detrimental of bugs compared to the new killer so the focus would definitely be to fix the new killer bugs as soon as possible.

I don't think it's that good. I see it's quite popular among other Survivors but I just don't see it. And from Killer POV, I don't think it really gave much value to survivors I faced at all, maybe in few very rare scenarios.
people overrate that perk it has a cooldown which makes it not all that
-
Sounds like survivor mains wanna win easily and can’t handle the pressure of tunneling. Try killer for once and maybe you’ll see why people tunnel. It’s called applying pressure. Y’all have perks that can counter tunneling and y’all still refuse to use them sounds like a skill issue.
-
That's a bug. He's supposed to be stunned for a bit when he latches on to you like that.

2 years in a row the Blood Moon has flopped and failed to deliver it's promise on having big bloodpoint gains. THAT'S CRAZY
First year the event offering somehow gave you ZERO bloodpoints, and was kill-switched for the entire event.
Now this year the offering is SINGULAR and the events it applies to literally give scraps.
Like how can you mess up this badly???
Im not even going to go into the new gameplay being a massive letdown, or ghoul's literal existence ruining the survivor experience because the MAIN POINT of the event, HUGE BLOOD POINT GAINS AREN'T HAPPENINGJust look how silent they’re when it comes to game breaking bugs they gone tell me I need to provide a video when I gave them instructions on how to reproduce the bugs. They don’t care. Smaller gaming companies respond better and fix bugs accordingly without video representation all you have to do is tell them how to reproduce it and they will find it out on their own. That says a lot.

Kind of unrelated but may as well put this here too:
Nurse got a buff as well.
Fatigue you can see a lot more clearly during it. And you fatigue to the center of the screen quickly, you dont look down so much anymore.Yep, and somebody tried to say it was a bug and that her fatigue was longer than usual. When the only thing that occured was she looks up faster so you’re still in fatigue animation. 💀

Unironically Pig got nerfed along with Freddy since the blood gens don't activate RBT. 🙃 Seems that BHVR has their priorities in order as usual.
Plague also can’t infect those gens

His reputation is ruined now he’s going to be skull merchant how did they manage to release him broken and they didn’t even attempt to nerf him knowing he loses no distance on survivors like he legit has a 8 second power with the old chucky recovery time. This is way more op when Chucky had that and Chucky power was 20 seconds. And his hit scan power needs to be removed it takes no skill. Like that’s more crazy than legion. I felt like the only reason they buffed legion because they realized how similar they made both of these killers to keep legion in the sad state would’ve just look bad on their part. Legion should’ve been buffed months ago.
-
They should gut this killer. His reputation is now ruined. Skull Merchant him.
-
Ngl, he’s literally legion if he had 0.5 second fatigue. It’s dumb asf.
-
So, in other words, you would rather deal with a Hillbilly, Blight and Nurse on autopilot before making a c-tier killer better in chase. I can say the same about these 3 killers that lose no distance and ignores normal chase gameplay because of how fast they get across the map with their power. I take it as you aren’t doing so well in chase against a c-tier killer that has no chase power most of the game that’s sad.
-
How does a sound make a power more satisfying to use?

@MrMori said:
OTR is necessary, otherwise the only real free anti tunnel perk survivors would have is Dead Hard, but that's not very usable for newer players. If you really wanna counter it, slap the survivors right off hook.
There is an argument to be made for reducing the duration to 60 seconds from 80, but if you haven't done a conspicuous action and removed the Endurance in 60 seconds then you're just wasting time. I know you keep aura reading blocking and grunt suppression but whatever.
That requires camping. Why would you think I’m camping?
-
Maybe they can start by removing the movement speed off his power

I never said that EMPs should permanently disable his power. If you actually would address the points I made in my original post, and not some made up bogeyman, you'd have seen that. All I am saying is that singularity's counterplay means nothing because survivors have to commit so much time for almost 0 payoff.
I don't need you to teach me anything when you can't even read the assignment correctly. Trying to call me ignorant while using memes as your main form to discredit me without any logic is actually appalling, and for you to think that that's "logic" is as equally as appalling.
Delusional killer mains like usual. I see exactly what you are talking about. The fact Singularity can just spam his power after overclock mode ends is stupid. Just a terrible killer design in general. I would rather play against Nurse and Blight.
-
Mending should not be taking longer this is literally a nerf to the legion. Legion is already terrible and they won’t buff his basekit so what makes them think this is going to change anything but make tunneling more unbearable. If you want to see Legion perform better I told y’all before to buff his basekit speed in his power from 5.2 to 5.8 m/s. Plus making them mending longer would guarantee Legion gets 0 downs with his power for sure. If anything Legion in his power benefits from shorter mending.

That is not what I am talking about. Did you disregard the update before that? Keywords "original state." I am talking about when Kindred didn't need everyone to bring the perk for it to be useful.

If they would just remove chase music from killers hearing it will make a bigger difference but they act like it is essential to hinder the killer's ears

It's odd to me you cite newer maps as a problem when Toba is one of the smallest maps in the game and Nostromo is no bigger than Haddonfield with no mention of the actual largest maps like Disturbed Ward, Shelter Woods or Azarov's Resting Place.
You also cite exhaustion perks but those are absolutely nothing new, Sprint Burst and Lithe are some of the oldest perks in the game.
I don't think Spirit really needs any changes when she's the 3rd strongest killer in the game and nobody really threatens to take that spot from her.
Saying she is the 3rd strongest killer in the game is a lie and the directional audio made her power trash
-
I guess I did my big one with this post LOL

Yeah, no. Nurse is, ironically, fairly weak in 2v8.
My point exactly. Huntress, Wraith, and Billy dominates this mode. Nurse feels horrible. The fact she only has 3 blinks near her teammate instead of anytime makes her basically basic nurse that has to go against 8 people instead of 4.
-
It’s 100% getting nerf. My work here is done.
-
Needs to be disabled like now. And the map realm got to go. Y’all did a decent rework but then you guys left red edges. Too many times where the map is not fully rendered and leaves red areas where survivors can get out of them map.

- 3 blinks when she is near of the second killer (16 M)
- Increases the length of Blink Attack lunges by 30%.
- Increases the range by 30% with each successive Blink.
- Reduces the fatigue duration of Blink by 7%.
- Blinking within a 1-meter radius of a survivor makes them scream.
- Reduces the fatigue of chain Blinks by 65%.
- Increases movement speed during a chain Blink by 30%.
- Increases the duration of the chain Blink window by 0.2 seconds.
- Reduces the fatigue of missed special attacks by 0.5 seconds.
Yeah, she is weak.
You just described quality of life add-ons. This is why you shouldn’t have an opinion.
-
She’s actually quite fine. Huntress is way more stronger than her in this mode.
-
If you get slugged that’s a skill issue.

@Jean_Cobra said:
Seriously, the REAL big problem i have with this 2v8 mode is the presence of the Nurse. And not only the standard nurse, in this event, it's the nurse with 3 F*CKING blinks, a big LOUNGE after a blink, a reduced fatigue who is completely hilarious, a movespeed during blink who is incredibly broken, and INSTANT information everytime she blink near of survivors. Do you realize it's probably the worst idea to have added her with THESES BUFFS ?
Why you don't have add Doctor or Hag instead of her ? Don't tell me "It's because she is one of the first killers added on dbd", so why it's not Ace but Mikaela as the EIGHTH character added as survivor ?
The Nurse didn't need all these absurd buffs, she is ALREADY disproportionately op, and regardless of whether there are 8 survs or more, she overrides the game's mechanics. Several times this evening I saw Slug nurses enjoyer, but not the little slugging, it was a slug all the time, slug by slug on three chase, then take a new chase to slug the survivor behind.
Please BHVR, next time, dont add her for the futures game events.Nurse is quite weak in this mode. You’re delusional if you think otherwise.
-
@I_CAME said:
My guy barely anyone wants to play survivor as it is. You want to make the queues even longer for killer?
They could just simply make the killers stronger yet that didn’t happen. They just gave 2 add-ons for wraith. Literally.
-
Also, too many gens left when there’s one left. Extremely too spaced out. Trapper and wraith barely received buffs from their add-ons. They need more of their add-ons. Huntress quite literally the only good one. Nurse feels so weak like this is one of the top killers and she’s not even that good in this mode. I noticed lag switching while playing. It really needs the other killers to be enabled tbh. The first set of killers are far too weak except Huntress.

That is why you do it while the killer is in a chase, ofc they see you pick it up.
A killer can leave chase at any time. Majority of the time if you pick that item they’re coming to that location.

That’s not counter play. I literally tried this and what happened? Not only did the killer see me dropping the item on the edges of the map, but I was also oblivious so I couldn’t hear them and they were on me instantly. Plus it keeps players off gens if they’re all running around trying to find and move items.
This perk needs a nerf.
-It should not work thru multiple levels (getting weave and I can’t find the item to move it because it’s actually above or below me and I don’t know that)
-It shouldn’t not work on slugged survivors
-oblivious needs removed.
-Personally because it gets paired with franklins so much, I think once the item is drained, it should no longer work OR the radius for it should decrease once item is drained.
Right my point exactly it’s basically a slowdown in its own self plus gives killers whereabouts everywhere and not to mention burns through distortion stacks.
-
Okay, you only mad because the perk is going to get nerfed

slowdown perks are not hard to deal with vs permanent aura reading. At least killers don’t know my location the entire game.

Very strong combination - even Survivors without any perks can beat these useless perks (if properly countered).
We had 2 items on the map (bcs you can get items from his chests).Stronggggg perks… need nerf… yeah yeah. 😆
you posted a random person that don’t even know how to use the perks get real. I hope you don’t think that’s proof.
-
literally no counterplay and the survivors items stay on the ground forever because everytime you go back to pick up the item the killer will know. Like use common sense and once you pick the item up you’re oblivious meaning you won’t even know where the killer is coming from. Too strong needs a nerf or a rework.

IIt's Not too strong at all. Especially since you have to run franklins with it to get any kind of decent value and you don't always get to pick where the items get dropped
Too strong needs a rework. All killers using this perk gets a 3-4k almost a close to a 80-90% win rate since this perk came out. Time for a nerf.
