This gamemode shows crystal clear evidence of survivors not doing the gens and how it correlates with survivors either in swf or soloq having a low winrate. It's extremely infuriating that nobody is repairing the generators besides me. Either they cleanse totems or open chests and hide. Why? Do people find it boring to do gens? ^ Title Patch 8.1.1 has broken multiple maps, relevant bug report here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/421536/maps-will-sometimes-incorrectly-generate-with-holes#latest You can run off the map into the "void". You can increase the BP bonus to 1000% and it won't change anything, especially since bloodpoints are almost useless at this point and you don't even need it for 2v8. People are going to play the role they strongly prefer. The most surprising thing to me isn't that killers have long queues now, it's that queues were somehow stabilized and nearly instant for so long in this game. why is it that the endurance bug wasn’t properly fixed during the hotfix. This is hands down the most fun ive ever had in DBD. I love the fact I can finally play the killer role with my friend… I do love the idea of the 'power' role in these games, but I'm always discouraged by the fact I dont have a team mate. its very chaotic, but in a good way. I briefly mentioned this in another thread but felt it deserved its own. Hooks already have janky spawns at times with multiple floors and with the amount of boil over I see lately, the possible hooks I can get to is pretty limited at times. I don't have any interest in playing survivor in this mode. I can't see the appeal of being chased by 2 killers at once (which severely limits your ability for skill expression) and there's also just nothing engaging or new happening as a survivor in 2v8. The only other time we got close to that was Resident Evil's release which I think it got to around 105k or so maybe 110k, now that release was such a buggy mess there was nearly no retention from it not to mention how awful original RPD was I'm not surprised it left a bad impression on a lot of people. One reason I haven't been playing much lately is because sitting for 90s on a gen feels like a slog. I was pleasantly surprised to see the reduced gen time in 2v8, and it makes a difference because the gens are popping fast and there are many other survivors to help speed it up more. I think 2v8 is a breath of fresh air because it makes the game more fast-paced and hectic, like a real party game.0 comments 61 views last activity

This killer is good against mid to bad survivors but is quite terrible against good teams because: 3 hits to down, Even if you hit all your shots perfectly, its still a 3-hit down, which takes a fair amount of time Weakness goes away too quickly, You have about a 2 second window to hit someone again with UVX after hitting them a first time, the Cleanse bar never regresses and even if you hit th0 comments 114 views last activity

So i keep hearing the idea of "why not make realm offerings impossible to go to a realm you offered?" And heres why that is not a good idea. For example lets say you load match as trapper and you dont want to go to garden of joy. I bought the game on the PS4 early Tuesday to cross-progress my Switch account and prior to the 8.1.1 update, I had no issues playing. Afterwards, the game started to crash at random times and give me the same error. I just tried reinstalling the game and it crashed as I was at the loading screen for a Custom Match against bots. Behavior something must be done about the hacking situation it is not fun at all. Wait 45 plus minutes just to load into a match with a hacker or more that is somehow able to disable killer abilities I was trapper didn't spawn with 4 traps and unable to place them my friend a streamer once was wraith and once unlocked he couldn't cloak the rest of the match. Simply put, title says it all, I see everyone complaining about how the trapper is the weakest killer and needs so much help in the 2v8 mode, but in my opinion, quite the contrary.. Simply put, the trapper is probably one of the best of the 5 choices available.. As the second killer on the field allows the trapper some extra time to get his traps set, and apply pressure on the survivors.. and7 comments 633 views last activity

This mode brought me back to the game and it feels like how the game was meant to be as a chaotic party game. It would be extremely disappointing if it disappears in 2 weeks because 1v4 doesn't have the same excitement for me and many other players. We all have our opinions on 2vs8... I love it personally on either side... However one thing I've noticed, especially on Killer side, is this game mode is a totally different beast to regular DBD. There are certain elements that cross over, but if I would use a word to describe the game mode, I would pick bonkers. Today we received Bug Fix 8.1.1 and it didn't help at all. Lobby crushes too many times Some weird invisible walls or floors on Suffo Pit Azarov R. Place is completely broken Garden is broken with some bugs again. The second I get hit with franklin's it's a big hit to the morale. I don't even run. I get hit, drop my item and stop moving. Try to 4% then let the entity take me. I tried DBD on my PS5 (from PC) thanks to cross progression and I must say I am really impressed by console players. They get a lot of toxicity but it’s DBD hard mode imho playing with a controller, it takes way more skill than mouse and keyboard. The game is also way darker on the TV without reshade.
