So they're nerfing the band-aid that was ruin allowing gens to be done much quicker when they were already quick to do and combined with the large map size it makes any killer who doesn't have a good amount of map pressure (basically any killer that isnt Billy, nurse or spirit) way more difficult. Don’t get me wrong there are 1% of Red Rank killers who are good, but my god 99% of the red rank killers are just awful/terrible. I had a game were the wraith did nothing but tunnel me off hook. So my teammates got all the gens done during the time I was being tunnel to death, but my god HOW TF YOU RANK 2 you don’t deserve to be rank 2 and I wasn’t even the obsession. As a solo red rank survivor I haven’t honestly felt like undeserved to win in a week or so. Every game is basically all red rank survivors against a killer between 12-15. These poor guys are getting 2-3 hooks max, no kills except the occasional NOED that pops up. I don’t feel like I did anything special to win, held M1 and maybe did a chase against someone who really doesn’t understand roles v0 comments 31 views last activity

It seems to have gotten so bad lately I just want to uninstall and never look back. I kept going against red ranks and getting mercilessly trashed with 0-1 kills, gens all being done and egc in an average of 6 minutes and sometimes getting less points than the survivors. Now I'm rank 15 and with the reset still going against pretty strong 5-8 ranks that were probably purple or reds. I stopped55 comments 2,801 views last activity

I have an idea on how to balance for rank. My suggestion is that perks and killer powers upgrade at certain ranks like the new ruin would be lower ranks and old ruin would be higher ranks, heck maybe in red ranks ruin wouldn’t have great skill checks because the players at red ranks should be rlly good but rank doesn’t matter lol so ranking system needs to be adjusted first0 comments 11 views last activity

When I play solo survivor I feel like DS is a necessity. What with all the randoms that like to unhook you in front of the killer with no borrowed time or the ones that sandbag you. And another reason I feel like its needed is because a lot of killers will tunnel if their is no obsession which is boring . So i just had a game on coldwind farm where a tbagging meg with a key tried to loop and wastes many pallets on me. Sometimes when im in the wrong mood i reward toxicity with toxicity and facecamped her. The others tried to save her but got scared away by my chainsaw (was playing billy) but i really wanted this player to lose the key (it was SWF. I played my first match as a killer, after being a survivor main for a long time, and I was ranked against rank 19 and 20 survivors, but they had all of their perks maxed out to level 3. So ill say right now im not a fan AT ALL of the amount of information we get ingame these days. Dead Hard having a dedicated animation is great for avoiding confusion and jumping to conclusions, but man, why do survivors get this big fat indicator that for example NoeD is in play when someone is hit? This game made me hate keys. I was playing as a nurse, doing the 3 gen strat against three survivors when I see this survivor use a key to escape. I close it hook a survivor. When I see this other survivor rescue the dude with borrowed time, then they both go to the hatch and escape. While playing survivor I have noticed killers disconnecting from the match and/or complaining in end-game chat when I successfully stun them with Head On. I find this very confusing because I honestly think Head On is a fair and fun perk. For back story on why I’m making this thread, I was playing Wraith on The Game and I got five stacks with Devour Hope, I mori’d everyone with it, I got a bare safety pip (at least it wasn’t a de-pip, I guess.) Why are people punished for getting Devour Hope to work? I am rank 11 killer and I played 17 games in a row now. I want to learn a new killer, Hillbilly. In these games I had exactly one which was purple ranks (all 5) all the rest was red ranks... Mine is Blood Warden. Blood Warden is now a Hex Totem. When the End Game Collapse is activated a random dull totem is lit. (If any are left) When you hook an survivor while one/both the exit gates are opened, the exit gates are blocked for an UNLIMITED duration. The ranking system needs to be reworked. We shouldn’t be de-pipped when we come across killers that camp and tunnel survivors. It’s so easy to de-pip when you hardly get to do anything in the game and it is infuriating. It’s also really dumb when you get a zero or sometimes negative when you avoid the killer for most of the game and you manage to escape and you can easily get a bronze or silver u2 comments 21 views last activity
