Well, hear me out. Capcom seems to be pushing the newer characters in the latest entries. If I am not mistaken, the Winters are going to be a trilogy. So next game will be focused on one of them. In every trial i'm in, I'm always with a trash killer : Camping, Tunneling, or even both. Most part of the time, I encounter the killer some seconds after the beginning of the trial. Survivors are not really better. In fact, they're much worse : Giving me the killer, letting me alone when I'm on a hook and rather walk around the map, not doing anything, not even generators. I know another spirit post, but I've read a lot of post about her and people are convinced there is counter play to her. I'm here to tell you the very truth. The only counterplay a spirit has is using a god pallet or god window that's it. There's no other counterplay to her and I will explain why many of the supposed counters to her are wrong. First of all Im a survivor main. I used to be the one who was complaining about camping and tunneling. But since Ive been playing killer a lot, I can understand why some killers are camping or tunneling. Sometimes you are loosing and you want to apply pressure by camping or tunneling. Going on 6 games in a row, all games I'm tunnelled. Literally didn't do anything to the killer, like looping or multiple pallet stuns, they just gun for me. I'll unhook a survivor, the killer will down them again, then just completely ignore the survivor and chase me and hook me. Going to keep it short, felt like doing this after Scott's video. The math part is boring so I'm not including that. 3 seconds of 150% speed gives a total of 4.2 meters of distance from the killer after 3 seconds of holding W. This basically means Sprint Burst, since Lithe and Balanced Landing have other factors like the distance you get from the window or lose from falling. I just played against a spirit right now(the farm map) and it somehow was able to hit me right out of haunting. I have Spine Chill and once it lit up, I start moving and hide in some weird places like middle of the field, beside a haybale, or corner of the shack, but the killer can directly hit me just right after coming out of haunting. So i don't get dead hard anymore I could have a survivor dead hard right into me and i hit them but no doesn't count and they some how just slip by me. Yesterday I had a game as Deathslinger and hit a survivor I heard the hit and everything but they dead hard and it just say nope doesn't count even though the sound cue happened. I just hate getting tunneled with an active trap on my head and the fact how they just body block the jigsaw boxes is what kills me the most like its an instant death. That have to be in single trial, challange. But it is kinda hard. I used Agitation + Iron Grasp + Mad Grit + Monstrous Shrine But i can not do that. 2 problems here: 1 - Maps are so big, so even with this perks survivors escaping from my shoulders. 2 - I have not any generator defend perk. Don't T-bag if you've lost. If you're the only survivor left, the killer was multiple ranks below over half of the survivors, The killer wasn't running the meta, and the gates are open, you've lost. An escape for just yourself isn't a win. While I do think Wraith is much stronger now, I still think he is on the weaker side of killers (like mid C tier). The main thing that really helped him was his map mobility, but his true invisibility was definitely an underrated buff. Seriously isnt it long past due that we get a training mode in the main version of the game? This post is not meant to rant about Tunneling but rather the fact that the 8k category cap still exists for survivor and the fact that there's no category spillover like there is for killer.
