It is, 5 years in, very grindy and RNG based, which can be insanely painful. Why not make it some sort of shop at The Watcher? Where you can just buy the perks you want, and the addons you want? Maybe make the rarer addons have a cooldown to buy them? Killer is virtually unplayable for me right now with all the lengthy framedrops and freezing. Survivor's a little better but still awful. In my time playing Twins I’ve noticed a lot of people complaining about Victor being able to camp a hook while Charlotte applies pressure. Since Charlotte can see Survivors near Victor, he’ll always detect you going in for a hook save and pounce on you. This is my first anniversary event and I was so excited. I was thinking about the crowns, the bloodpoints, and how it'll be fun. It's not as I hoped.. the crowns are cool, love that we get stuff if we get enough crowns. The bloodpoints are nice if cakes get played, I've had matches were none were played. I don't enjoy farming. Can BHVR for christ sake do something for people that got tunneled? Just read the Developer Update and I saw nothing about perk reworks/buffs/nerfs. It's usually the thing I look the most forward to for Mid Chapters, having older perks become somewhat viable. Greetings all... I have been trying to unlock the Dwight, Meg, Claudette and Jake face masks for Leatherface. I read on the DBD wiki and on the forums that you need to sacrifice 25 of each survivor as Leatherface to unlock the masks. So in the new developer update for this month, it was noted that no way out would be buffed to have a maximum of 60 seconds of blockage, and will only activate when a survivor goes to touch a gate, which can prolong its effect even longer. I was thinking about getting a new PC and I was thinking about upgrading from my current 8 GB of ram to something higher, considering that performance is really not that great. In the majority of games that I have played in the past two weeks when there are two Survivors left in the match the Killer will slug to ensure that the hatch opening is never an option. Stupid question, I know. I have gotten several, escaped after getting them and I do not have them in my customization. I was not playing last year at this time and this is my first crown fun fare. Am I missing something? Seems like you get the crown in the game, you sparkle for the rest of the match, you escape and you're supposed to get it? Trickster downs in 6 knives instead of 8 knives. He also has larger activation window for Main Event and the startup animation is significantly faster. No Way Out only activates when a Survivor actually touches an exit gate for the first time. It's duration has been increased as well. Hi, PS4 player here. I understand there are frame drop issues currently (even though they've been a problem for about *counts fingers*, the beginning of time?) but playing Killer is SOOOOOOOOOOO painful right now. Of course, there are frame drops as Survivor, but for me, I tend to feel it less because 3rd Person POV. Killer being in 1st Person POV is excruciatingly aggravating. IIRC the devs stated they were no longer going to make lunar events and winter events big things so they can focus more on the Anniversary and Halloween events. Because of the killer addon last year I was expecting this kinda thing to return next year. I was playing as DemoG against a console group (just all console; I don't know if they were in a party. Though one had an event toolbox and one had an event flashlight and was SUPER altruistic, so maybe a SWF?) I basically hooked everyone once, and let them do gens, and watched them open the exit gate. Directly in the middle of the 5th Year Anniversary Event... is there even any point? The only real reason to play the PTB is to try out Trickster's changes, but surely the killer queue time will just be double the usual time it is in the PTB because everyone wants to play the event instead? I would rather face Sprint boosts, etc. any other exhaustion perk anytime 24/7 rather than this. I see it every single game on at least 2 survivors (usualy 3+) and I am sick of it. The ammout of time I outplay someone on a loop or they made a mistake and just press E to say "haha no" is ridicilous.
