So yesterday, I queue up and get matched against a Steve. Check his Steam and hah - turns out he lives pretty close to me. Very good player, close game but eventually I hook him twice and they start struggling. Suddenly boom , I DC. Chalk it up to my VPN pooping itself and forget about it. She's cool. But man trying to actually snipe with her is near impossible. I just don't get it. I set my snipes up and it's just to easy for the survivors to avoid it. And then the other issue is presetting at a loop or wall and then you have to guess when they run through that small window of vulnerability... In all my matches with her I just can't seem to snipe. Everytime a killer gives me the hatch, if they're on the same platform as me, I message them and say thank you. Not once have I ever heard back. Which is FINE. I'm not saying thank you for the validation. What I'm wondering though is, am I doing something I shouldn't? Should I just take the hatch and be done with it? I don't know. I'm not quite sure why some survivors hate farming killers. I personally love playing as and against a farming killer. I enjoy it because if I'm playing as a survivor, and I'm getting back to back face campers and tunnelers all night, it's nice to have an easy break to help me reset my mindset. So this is just for clarification. I know threats (someone saying "I will BLEEP you") is bannable. I know telling someone to harm themselves is bannable ("go BLEEP yourself"). It's been almost 4 years and far too many hours, but I'm sorry to say that I'm not finding any enjoyment in DBD anymore. I realized it when I started panicking when I thought about queuing up as Killer and that when I found myself dreading playing Survivor. Seriously I don't know what to do with these flashlights. I shine them into the face of a guy but I guess I don't get him with a clean shot in the eyes. I'm tired of flashlights, they only get me killed. I don't even want them in my web. We should be able to hit cancel or pass with the button and darken the thing so it costs us no money. Remember when Balanced Landing eliminated fall stagger with no cooldown? Ah man, that effect was so good you almost had to run it. The 3 second burst of speed was just icing on the cake. Nowadays I don't see Balanced Landing anymore, which is kinda sad. I would almost trade away the burst of speed just for the infinite stagger reduction tbh. Getting 3 new players (tier 1 perks, dont rescue, what are gens?) and a killer who thinks they need to tunnel on top of that. Literally just watched a Dwight jump in a locker mid chase right in front of killer...he was healthy. Like take a hit and use the boost to get away. Just had few games that were almost same. Tournament style play. I've never seen this style so often before the event. There is nothing going on: no flashlight rescue attempt, no bodyblocks, just the boring Shift+W. They don't loop, just run in straight line and predrop pallets. Never played him. Finally am tonight with no perks or add-ons to practice his power. I noticed when I'm stalking they will be looking right at me and my power isn't breaking. im hard at hearing. that mixed with bgm, killer breathing, random ambiance that pretends to be survivors, and the games terrible sound occlusion makes it near impossible for me to discern survivors and its commonly sheer luck if i hear a survivor sound or the map is just screwing with me makes the game more tedious then it has to be. in my research to mitigate this problem i found a reddit post:5 comments 521 views last activity

I use Lithe more than any exhaustion perk and I really love it. I usually get a ton of value out of it almost every game. I don’t even think it’s too strong or too weak, I just think it’s a perfect example of a fair and balanced exhaustion perk. it's not an interesting part of the mechanic, it's just infuriating that it just comes down to bumping into invisible parts of the loop etc which guarantees a hit on you. Facecamp every hook when I am on gideons. The map is way to safe. Theres no way to cause pressure to survivors on a map where every tile is a safe pallet. So to counter act this when I do hook someone they will not be getting off. I will take the L im over it. PS. This is so annoying! I’ll be in a full on run and then suddenly my character just stops running and starts walking. I have tried hard wiring the remote, and upgrading to a bigger hard drive, hard wired the game itself and it gets on my nerves so bad! When I play killer and I see boons i don't get mad... Is it just me? Cause the more they put down boons is less time on gens less time on gens better chance for me to get hooks Which equals win for me.
