Boon totems are not that strong to warrant anything more than shattered hope being a perk. Only circle of healing is good, the rest are extremely weak when put against shattered hope.
and undying was only strong with ruin. i guess old undying was fine? Counterforce is all it warranted?

@miketheratguy that might be true for the copyrighted survivors but you cant mix-and-match for BHVR original characters either! and there are also locked sets that have nothing to do with non-BHVR copyrights like the Christmas pajamas! which company is blocking that?

May I ask, what was your goal in making this thread? Other than looking a fool, you're wasting your time.
when everybody collectively complained about demo being nerfed during his buff they buffed him. im doing my part to complain about a change that shouldnt have happened

I've always wondered how useful Rat Liver actually is because sure, OG 9% sounds good but does it really make a significant difference when in most cases you're holding Shred for like a few seconds at most?
it doesnt make much of a difference overall but considering all of his other perks were hot garbage it was a shiny piece of trash in a pile of refuse. and the dev's changes didnt really change his add-on options alot. he has 2 more useable add-ons equaling a total of about 6 that are ok or good and the rest are just as trash as ever
-
if the dev's mentioned this in the first place we wouldnt have been so angry. makes me think that they are doing this on purpose

You say that putting more traps than 3 is not optimal when it comes to basement hah?
But when I can't save because my camera jumps all over the place... I might disagree.
Bruh, forget about saving, trying to get down the basement is a challenge in itself.
thats why i said "as long as they dont suicide the trap hell" yes if all of you dive into all of her traps then your going to have a bad time but she only has 10 traps if she has 5-10 of them dedicated to basement then 0-5 are dedicated to her 3gen. ruin her game as revenge for ruining yours
-
as a hag main if there is a shack in my web then i put 2 traps on it since survivors love looping it and if i get somone in basement +1 trap in basement. 3 in total worst case scenario, but ive heard of hags that go overboard and i feel for you. but that is not optimal and that hag will struggle to get a 3k even against bad survivors as long as they dont suicide the trap hell

"Coupled with the fact that since it's Steam exclusive"
AH, i hadnt thought about that part. thank you!
-
when do the changes go live? its been quite the while since i was excited for a patch
@TWiXT "if one of your Teammates screws up and tries to heal you while you're crawling to freedom" based off what i read about the perk it only disables if the person with the perk heals not if somone else heals the person with the perk
@TomBomb i hadnt thought of it that way, do you think people will stop using distortion?
-
im so tired of people working on gens in front of me, of a long chase ending in somone running into locker because apparently i had tunneled them since 2 other survivor hooks before, people unhooking somome i had just hooked before i even have a chance to leave because they healed and know i cant grab them from hook or they will punish me. its not like survivors are limited on alternative builds and its not like DS was actually used against a tunneler very often. if they fixed the talent so it went dormant when you hooked somone else then it wouldnt be a problem in its normal state but it doesnt so if your playing optimal survivor you include what should be a crutch perk. noed is garbo since it only works in the end game and is a hex perk it gets you 1 bonus kill at most while 4 survivors running the 'small pp build' of DS and unbreakable should only lose if they are hot trash against any normal killer
-
thank goodness this bug should have been purposely implemented ages ago. maybe the next bug will make moris and keys stop working and the forums will worship at the knees of our new head of development: RNGesus
-
as a killer main i come across keys almost every game. its really annoying, i agree that red moris need a nerf but so do keys. a simple animation that the killer can interrupt would be a major move in the right direction. but it would still have the problem of being a exit gate on steroids in the late game so maybe opening the hatch breaks the key and using the hatch causes it to close
@Antares_2332 not the worst suggestion. yellow mori's are garbo. but i would suggest green mori's stay with the caveat of 'can kill all survivors during the end game collapse if you've hooked them at least once' and red moris become what current green is
-
@Toybasher oh! i thought the blood web randomized the entire thing and any red had to compete with greens/yellows/browns on an equal field i didnt realize that every web required 1 or so reds everytime. ty!
@Heartbound lol
-
what? the game is one of the smallest maps and unlike silent hill going up and down isnt a trek so its one of my favorites
-
personally before the aura change i cringed everytime i saw corn in the distance, now i see corn and think "at least i can keep my aura perk" or "oh good, visible generators". i dont play survivor but anyone that does are maps nerfed by the aura changes?

Haddonfield isn't that bad especially after balanced landing nerf. But it's bad when people do decide to bring balanced landing
the reason i thought that most people hated haddon the most was because youtubers commonly called it the worst map and the reason they gave was the large amount of long walls that survivors could loop for ages
-
pretty sure most people thought haddonfield was
-
personally i think the only rules that killer should have is "dont camp hook" like what people came to expect from bubba just revving his chainsaw infront of the hook staring at the person on it and a rule for pig/ghost which is 'dont taunt crouch' the latter of which is just for not being rude
i dont think killers should tunnel for strategic reasons not avoiding survivors being mad. i hold similar rules for survivor: dont be rude. things like DS is annoying but fine since it makes strategic sense spam crouching while clicking a flashlight is just unneeded
-
@DraconDirnc said:
Don't listen to the survivors they have rules for everything. Stop abiding by the way they want it to go. If you tunnel so what they have ds for a reason.
i understand that i just wanted to know how they even can think that a hag tele-slapping is tunneling. once i understand that yeah im happy to 'tunnel' whether they like it or not
-
the trap can be killed with a microsecond of flashlight, if the hag goes back to the hook then she isnt focused on gens and isnt setting more traps. running back to the hook only makes sense if the survivors arent running amok in your traps so they are all set and no gen in her web has been pressured enough that its a bigger consern. if the hag running back cant be punished then thats a failure on the survivors part which the hag would be right to capitalize on.
-
i dont spam traps around somone hooked unless im desperate(exit gate is open and i want at least 1k). but trapping somone on hook just makes sense considering how many ways to counter a trap there are you need to take every advantage you can and its not like you cant counter a trap at hook either.
thats not even what the survivors were complaining about, there was this one guy who kept running off when he was unhooked and strait into a trap i put at a pallet or stairs so he got killed at 4 gens. i even tried to ignore him once after downing him but when he was picked up he immediately ran into a trap again
and another game there were 2 people who were farmed by the other survivors by not taking a hit for the person they unhooked so when they died a third person rage-quit and lectured me in the end game chat.
-
neat, thank you
-
yes, and whats the problem there? makes the playing field a little more even

My idea on lobby:
- Survivors can setup loadout until 20sec left., Killer can setup loadout until 5sec. (No surprise 3 flash light)
- Game starts, Killer gets a noti that there is/are swf or not. To prevent dodging, because already in game.
but then i cant build to fight them :/
-
do the same thing they did for survivor dodging a 'leaver bonus' except for survivors instead. make it bigger since its only one person dodging instead of potentially 4
