Dying Light, Ruin, NOED, Rancor. The obsession is caught in a conundrum. Being DL means they want to gen rush and not get caught. Being Rancor means that they do not want to gen rush and not get caught. If you ever find this person they are dead. If you find them soon enough you can tunnel them to death and if the others don't gen rush then the game just stops and they all die. And if they do6 comments 471 views last activity

Just did some testing with Insidious on Spirit. I found out that you can use phase walk and keep Insidious until you come out. This could open a new level of mind games for this killer. Unfortunately coming out of phase walk counts as an action, so even if you move somewhere and stay still your heartbeat will come back when you end phase walk.3 comments 101 views last activity

I am using Object Of Obsession and Bond. I will lead you to my teammates. What's the best way to make such a thing clear so you don't just flat out kill me at the start of the game when I basically offer myself to you? At least until you found all my friends, then you can do whatever. I ask because 3 games in a row the killer didn't seem to care I was on their side. I just had a game against a Trapper, where I stepped into an obvious trap uninjured while he was chasing me. TWICE. Got hooked twice. One guy had a key, so after 2 died him and I escaped through the hatch. I get an Iridescent Unbroken, and it HAS to be because I was never technically hit into the down state, I was picked up from traps both times. Just something interesting I'd thought I'd share.4 comments 51 views last activity

Either basement should always spawn in the preschool, or there should be a hook in the boiler room. It's like a fortress for survivors when basement is in shack. I had a group that sabo'd my hooks and had stuff like Boil Over, just run and hide in the boiler room and I couldn't hook them, I could barely even get them out of the preschool. There really is no reason is should be in the shack, 3 gen4 comments 51 views last activity

Simple, if a killer has a Hex totem (any one, including NOED) and you clean a dull totem you should get the Hex notification on your screen. Not a notification of what the totem IS just that one exists somewhere. It encourages survivors to spend time to go do a totem at some point just as a means to slow the game down. If a killer does not have a totem, it's still a win because the survivors will10 comments 161 views last activity

Using NM/BT/Deliverance. Run in for a save, get the guy off the hook with BT and then go down immediately after the save. The guy I saved didn't even use the BT, he ran off and the killer took my hook and lost him, and he healed. I never got a "safe unhook" prompt, never got my Deliverance, I even lost emblem points. I've done this a million times before only I was using Deliverance and it's alwa0 comments 21 views last activity

I own all the chapters for DBD, but I still get Black Splinters in my bloodwebs on all killers. I play the game on Xbox and bought all the content through the MS store, EXCEPT Myers/Lori which I bought with Auric cells. Just had it show up on the first rung for level 40 Spirit on the path to her final teachable.0 comments 161 views last activity

Technically I can, but when I pick her she makes these really freaky sounding moans and it scares me. I don't think I can play as this killer.15 comments 181 views last activity

This is getting fixed in the next update correct? I didn't have access to PTB but I heard that Spirit's lunge was bugged, then I heard all slow killers lunges are bugged. I play both Hag and Huntress and I swear my swing goes right through survivors sometimes. And if I play Freddy or Pig which are normal speed I never get juked like that unless it's a really good juke. Please tell me that the nex16 comments 481 views last activity

I consider myself generally a "nice" killer. If I see you unhook someone in front of me I usually let that guy go. I hate when killers immediately down the guy and you lose your Benevolence points, plus they just get put back on the hook. Doesn't take any skill to do that. Don't get me wrong, I'll do it if I'm in a position where I NEED to, or if I feel like you've been farming a lot and I want t1 comments 51 views last activity

To start off, Freddy's current powers stay as they are, this idea is in addition to that. Whenever Freddy puts someone to sleep, Dream Demon will begin to "charge" similar to Myers EW. Each charge is earned by a survivor spending a second in the DW. Once Freddy has at least 10 charges he can leave the Dream World and enter the real world for X time based on how many charges he has (1 charge =12 comments 201 views last activity

Huntress's add-ons need a rework badly. Currently the only useful ones are Babushka/Braid, Loop/Belt, and Iridescent Heads. After that everything is absolutely worthless for her. Here is a list of reworked add-ons. Take note that while Babushka/Braid are increased back to what they were before, they no longer stack (which is more balanced than reducing their effect IMO) and they both have been mo28 comments 1,012 views last activity

This was something I wanted to try just because I think it would be fun. I know that players below rank 15 are generally the "new" players to the game and don't quite understand yet how to play. After getting myself to rank 1 as killer and survivor multiple times, I figured I wanted to try something different and teach these players lessons in the game through being a "nice guy" killer. First, Sabotage main effect stays the same (ability to Sabo hooks without toolbox at 50% speed). Next, using this perk applies a 6% repair speed penalty to the survivor (same as using NM against Thanatophobia). This would "up play" hooks an objective for survivor and "down play" gens as the objective. Players would feel less like they are wasting time using the perk since using the perk is act19 comments 271 views last activity

This perk shouldn't have a notification, instead it should just make crows louder and more visible (maybe give them a slight glow when they fly). Also it should be sort of like Calm Spirit for the killer in that they don't disturb crows. Then you could actually use the crows to find survivors more effectively, and from my experience most survivors ignore crows unless it's a very tense situation..0 comments 31 views last activity

If a survivor is within 12m of a hook reveal their aura to all survivors. If the survivor on the hook hears a heartbeat, have their aura pulsate like a heart beat. This would be the alternative to giving survivors full Kindred on a hook. Kindred can be REALLY good in some situations, for example just by seeing that's its a LF the team will all rush gens really fast. But if they see a Hag they18 comments 382 views last activity

I've come to the conclusion recently, that Dying Light is one of the most OP killer perks, because if you get it to proc before 2 gens are done, you basically win the game. If you get someone without DS and find them quickly enough, it's like a guaranteed win. If you get someone with DS either A> they will be a really bad obsession and still get caught after the DS, or B> they will be a rea21 comments 381 views last activity

I made a discovery in the past 24 hours. After playing killer a lot and getting nothing but teams coordinating, then playing survivor a bunch and getting either easy wins or dying because of some sort of BS (team was bad, maybe people rage quit w/e) I got so fed up with the game I decided to just stop caring. I thought to use NM and play like I don't give a FFFF what happens to me. My goal was49 comments 461 views last activity

If the killer is within 12m of the hatch, it will close and prevent a survivor from entering. When the killer is beyond 12m the hatch will be open and the survivor is free to use it. Let's take a look at a few scenarios. 1) Either Survivor finds hatch first but the killer is near OR killer finds hatch first, then survivor cannot escape. Killer can stands on/near hatch to prevent escape.25 comments 314 views last activity

https://1drv.ms/v/s!ArDQJhViBOPmkD6Cg3CgAPvTEN-E Is this a bug? How was this guy healed when he was just on a hook?6 comments 141 views last activity

It should give you a flat 6% increase to repair/sabo/heal per survivor injured. Currently, you get 6% for the first injured survivor and +3% for every additional injured survivor. It means that to double the effect of 1 injured survivor you need to injure 3. Making it a linear increase would make it a lot more viable alternative to Ruin.10 comments 222 views last activity

https://youtu.be/DsRO2_gbq7k?t=6m53s "Get rid of Decisive, Insidious, and NOED and rank would be a lot more skill based." He is 100% right. DS and NOED are crutch perks for bad players. Killers defend NOED until they are blue in the face but at the end of the day it's there as a comeback mechanic for when you fail , making it a crutch (just like DS). The idea of a secondary objective for survivor has been thrown around for a while, and it's a bad idea. First, the game is already difficult enough for new players to learn, when you add MORE to that it just makes it even harder. Second, a secondary objective would completely alter the flow of the game. Lots of perks, add-ons, killer powers, and items would need to be adjusted to fit this new obj38 comments 611 views last activity

The mist in this game is quite ridiculous. It's impossible to see anyone 10m in front of you. There are 3, yes 3, mist offerings that increase mist but only 1 that reduces it. I can't find any reason why a killer would want more mist as it just makes the game harder for them. The fact that survivors can stack it too make it that much worse. On top of all of it, mist causes some serious framerate12 comments 411 views last activity

Nurse's Calling Thanatophobia Sloppy Butcher Bitter Murmur I've been using this build for the last 5 games or so and I've bodied people (except one game where I got a 1k only because it was a bad map for killer). The idea is that SB + TP + dream world makes it IMPOSSIBLE to heal in dream world, and very difficult to heal when awake. This makes it easy to find people with NC. TP also has a p9 comments 211 views last activity

I run Sprint Burst, and only SB, as my Exhaustion perk. I also use Adrenaline from time to time, but that's more for the healing effect not the speed boost (I don't tend to run Self Care anymore, it's like EZ mode). I personally feel like the Exhaustion nerf is fine. I tend to walk everywhere anyway if I'm not in a chase to save my SB, so nothing has really changed for me. They mentioned on stream that they may have status effects wipe after a hook. This makes sense for maybe Exhaustion, but IMO it causes some problems with killer add-ons, specifically Billy, LF, and Huntress that have add-ons that cause mangled AND slow repair time. If they make this change, then Hemorrhage should cause you to bleed more while increasing the time it takes to heal, and Mangled shou2 comments 751 views last activity

New Deja Vu is great. I love it. But there's a bug sometimes it only shows 1 or 2 gens. At first I thought it was a range thing, but just had a game where at 2 gens left I only saw 2 gens nearby, but then once the 4th gen was done (1 gen left) I was able to see the 3 remaining gens which were farther apart than the previous set. It's definitely a bug.1 comments 41 views last activity

This [GOOD WORD] game needs some [GOOD WORD] more content. Why the [NORMAL WORD] does Huntress not have more masks? Where the [GOOD WORD] are all the [GOOD WORD] outfits for Kate, the most [GREAT WORD] female character in the game? The devs are doing a pretty [EXOTIC WORD] job so far, ma'rite! -Decrease base wind-up and recovery time. -Adjust her fast hatchet and haft add-ons so that the end values are the same as now. -Slightly increase her movement speed while charging a hatchet. It should be close to what it's like with Shiny Pin, and using Shiny Pin should increase your movement to close to base movement. -When she runs out of hatchets, her movement speed should increase to 115%6 comments 51 views last activity

I thought of trying this build for Huntress: Deerstalker, Knockout, Third Seal, Nurse's Calling with Iri Heads and Infantry Belt. The idea is to literally slug everyone and then hook. TS + KO makes it unlikely downed players will be saved, DS lets you keep track of slugs, and NC is there just to stop heals if/when they occur. However the whole build hinges on whether hatchets count towards Thi3 comments 92 views last activity

Are you aware that Doc is seriously irritating to play against? (rhetorical, that's not the question...) Not saying he is difficult to play against. I'm saying he is irritating. Playing on Xbox. I only got the new map 2 or 3 times and that was the first day after the patch, before auric cells or DLC characters could be purchased. Playing on Xbox. When the update came out I went up against a Doc first or second day. After the match they asked me if they were moving faster. Last 2 days, every game, rank 2 survivor. Killer tunnels the first guy he finds TO DEATH. Then he does it to the next one, and the next one, and so on. I want to preface this by asking people to read all 7 rules of the hatch below before commenting. I'm a survivor main and I think the new Exhaustion change is perfect. In fact it's something I suggested a long time ago. So I'm happy about that. However, I do think that Vigil should be adjusted so that it would allow you to recover from Exhaustion at any time. Alternatively you could put this effect on something like Lightweight.
