Recently, I've really been enjoying playing Pig. And I've noticed that Survivors have more fun and are nicer to me in general. No one really t-bags me, ######### talks me in endgame chat, or rage quits. People sometimes even boop my snoot :) Kind of a weird phenomena honestly. I'm still winning games regularly at Rank 1, but the whole experience is just better. Play a Killer that Survivors lik39 comments 501 views last activity

I think a Generator regressing Haunted Ground style hex-perk would be interesting. Breaking the totem would cause all generators to explode for 20% and begin regressing. It would pair awesome with Ruin and actually make breaking totems risky. Being exposed for 60 seconds is much less punishing than regressing every generator by 20%3 comments 81 views last activity

The fact that a Killer Perk and a Survivor Perk both make Survivors see a yellow generator aura seems like a mistake to me, Better Together might freak out teammates or teammates might accidentally think Trail of Torment is Better Together and walk towards it. I think instead of highlighting a generator in yellow for 15 seconds. Trail of Torment should block the generator for 15 seconds and hig0 comments 71 views last activity

Survivors immediately have access to meta perks with the standard characters. Also, some of the free Survivors have multiple extremely useful perks (Dwight, Meg, Bill, David). Not to mention that some of the universal base perks are amazing as well (Kindred, Spine Chill, We'll Make It, Resilience). You can make a completely top tier meta build on Survivor without ever buying a DLC. Killers have4 comments 72 views last activity

I think an amazing way to buff prestige and to finally give Survivors some uniqueness would be Tier 4 perks. Pretty simple concept. Three unique perks. Three levels of prestige. Each prestige unlocks an extra level to a perk. They'd only be usable on their Survivor and all teachables would be capped at Tier 3. Tier 4 would just follow the natural progression pattern most perks have all ready.9 comments 321 views last activity

Lets face it. Dwight the Brave is a hard challenge and its mostly useless to your teammates, so it's best to get it over quickly and not troll people's games. Here's my guide to doing the challenge: Build: Urban Evasion/Iron Will/Inner Strength/Head On The Map: Dead Dawg Saloon. Great for immersion with the bushes plus buildings have multiple floors so you can be nearby chases while not bei2 comments 121 views last activity

Decisive Strike is completely unnecessary with a coordinated and thought through hook rescue, however, solo queue teammates sometimes pick bad timings for saves, don't bring BT and/or don't take hits. Realistically, DBD has enough counterplay to tunneling without Decisive, however, that counterplay diminishes with low quality teammates. A Killer usually doesn't intentionally tunnel unless the S23 comments 191 views last activity

I've been playing Ghost Face like an off-brand Wraith for way too long before I realized that stalking is what makes Ghost Face work. If the Survivors are doing things to waste your time... just stalk them to make up for it later. Heck sometimes you can cheese a free kill by holding them hostage at an unsafe loop and just going for the stalk instead of the hit. If they sprint burst away from a0 comments 51 views last activity

People like to say that Unbreakable is one of the overpowered "meta" second chance perks. But it's not really and very few people actually run it. Almost every scenario where Unbreakable gets used is a bad one. If the Killer is slugging multiple people, the game is going pretty badly and at best Unbreakable is just gonna stall out the game longer so you get more points. Also, even in a massive20 comments 851 views last activity

The counterplay to corrupt is immersing and waiting it out. But the new maps have breakable walls that are really important to shut down loops. So either I get early chases with more gen pressure or you have to deal with a map that has the majority of the breakable walls pre-broken12 comments 141 views last activity

At Rank 1 if Survivors bring 2+ flashlights, Lightborn automatically gets added in my build. Survivors with tricked out flashlights will go out of their way to get saves and they can't do it, so its a massive slowdown. Basically budget Infectious Fright because they come out of hiding the second you pick someone up. Also, they go down super easily at pallets because they're trying to blind. I've been trying so hard but I play at Rank 1 and it's really hard to get one gen grab let one two for the tome challenge. Spine Chill is extremely common and even if there's a Survivor that doesn't have it their teammates that do will give them the clue to get off the gen. Plus, even if everything is perfect once someone gets gen grabbed the Survivors are paranoid and leave gens super early.22 comments 401 views last activity

Decisive Strike deactivates when you have begun healing or working on a generator for more than five seconds. If you want 60 seconds of immortality after being unhooked, fine. But doing productive stuff because you have immortality and don't care if you get downed is abusing the perk.8 comments 71 views last activity

I've only played Spirit twice and got a 3k and a 4k. I'm a Rank 1 Killer player. I just slapped on Stridor, BBQ and Pop and was good to go. She doesn't really have any learning curve. If you're good with standard 115 Killers and looping, Spirit won't be anything new at all. It's basically mindgaming except the Killer has all the control and the Survivors are the ones guessing. It's just crazy36 comments 541 views last activity

It's just true. Almost all Survivors want to be chased and have a challenging match. Especially at high ranks. Doing gens and escaping isn't the fun part of this game. It's being pressured and feeling like the match could go either way. Having stressful chases and amazing clutch moments. Survivors might complain a lot, but they really do want good Killers. Not campers, no ed users or babies tha82 comments 821 views last activity

The map reworks spaced out tiles more and reduced pallet spawns. Which means you’re really likely to catch Survivors before they can make it to the next tile with enough stacks of STBFL. Before tiles and pallets chained so close it wasn’t as noticeable6 comments 81 views last activity

Surge, Brutal Strength, Save the Best for Last. And a tracking perk. I like Discordance. Maximum time saved in chases. Never kicking gens. Chewing through pallets. Closing the distance ASAP. Are their better builds? Yes. But this one basically does everything by itself with little conscious effort (aside from picking your battles with the obsession).3 comments 71 views last activity

Tunnel someone on death hook when you have lots of stack of STBFL. If they have Decisive Strike, they become the Obsession and you only lose two stacks to kill them and keep six stacks for the rest of the game. Moral of the story is that tunneling and getting "punished" with STBFL is amazingly good.2 comments 101 views last activity

Very stressful looping Pyramid Head because if he predicts a vault or pallet drop you're getting hit with his M2 (like Huntress). And if you don't take the vault/pallet he'll hit you with the M1 because he's an 115% Killer and the recovery after an M2 is relatively low (also like Huntress). So ironically at a lot of pallet loops you want to keep going in circles trying to dodge his M2 and assum0 comments 51 views last activity

Obsession Perks are notoriously inconsistent, risky or both. But you have to run one to guarantee an Obsession so the Killer doesn't tunnel off hook. Decisive, Sole Survivor, For the People and Mettle of Man are all perks that regularly have games where they get no value and take up a slot. They're all situational and sometimes the situations they work in don't happen. Object is risky and not0 comments 711 views last activity

Repressed Alliance is totally just meant to counter Pop Goes the Weasel. It's basically Pop Goes the Nope Soul Guard is clearly meant to counter No ED. It's basically Hex: Unbreakable + Borrowed Time Blood Pact is clearly meant to counter Nurse's Calling, Dark Devotion and Deathbound. It's basically Nurse's Running Away. Kind of a weird take on Survivor Perks. They're not really stand alone8 comments 401 views last activity

Blood Pact is like a single target Aftercare+Empathy that's an Obsession Perk. Pretty useful if you want a guarantee an Obsession, but don't wanna run Decisive. Also, the haste status is interesting. On the PTB, you gain the haste when you start healing AND when you finish. So if you tap the Obsession or they tap you right before the Killer interrupts your generator both of you can get a speed0 comments 221 views last activity

If you're doing a generator off in narnia, it's basically just for objective points because good Killers really don't care. Some maps spawn awkward gens that don't really line up well for three gens or patrolling, so they're not really that relevant. We expect to lose them.5 comments 121 views last activity

It's just such an noticeable perk on M1 Killers. Once you get 5+ stacks you really start shredding through people. It makes dead zones, murder zones. Hook trades, suicides. Endgame chases a lot more likely to get kills. And if your Obsession is being annoying, just eat a DS to get a new one. It also encourages good gameplay by tunneling out people and ignoring others so you can get an early kil30 comments 261 views last activity

Surge is alright on some killers and maps, but there are a couple quality of life things that could make it much better. Give it the Infectious Fright treatment so putting a Survivor in the dying state triggers it. So locker grabs and Killers that down with their power like the chainsaw users can get value from it. Let the -8% gen penalty hit already regressing generators to give it more use10 comments 81 views last activity

The hatch works in these conditions Three Survivors have died or escaped (spawns and opens) All generators completed (spawns and opens) Hatch only allows one Survivor to escape and then closes. It can be opened with a key if closed by the Killer or a Teammate to potentially allow extra escapes. These changes make hatch an immediate option for one person instead of the gate once the gens0 comments 111 views last activity

Lately I've been running Surge+Pop on most Killers and Survivors always get super spooked when they see Surge activate. There's almost always a moment where I see Survivors turn around to look at the gen that got Surged. I think they either don't like that perk or don't know about that perk's existence and are confused. Anyone wanna give me some insight?11 comments 341 views last activity

Early Sprint Burst users that are quick to leave gens actually help the Killer. They delay themselves probably 8-10 seconds on getting back on the gen and they make it way easier to tunnel because they leave their teammate as an easy target. There have been so many games where I don't even hit a Sprint Burst user until late game because they bail every time I get to a gen and they end up gettin10 comments 261 views last activity

Run For Your Life Unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability. You see the Aura of any Survivor(s) in a chase. While you are in a chase, all Survivors see your Aura. "When Evil's headed your way, you'd better run for your life!"5 comments 91 views last activity

Spirit shouldn't be able to see scratches during her power like Legion and should have a cooldown like Nurse if she misses her hit coming out of phase walk. Makes her take a bit more skill because Spirit players have to play exclusively off sounds and get punished for wrong predictions. Run Stridor on Spirit and she'll still be an A tier Killer, but not the S tier status she is right now.50 comments 2,332 views last activity

I've been playing him at Rank 1 for months and I finally understand his snares. ... place them slightly in front of vaults so greedy Survivors are forced to medium vault and get hit through windows. that's literally it. preset them at shack and main buildings. but otherwise pretty much exclusively at vaults. it's lowkey broken.2 comments 51 views last activity

For the People is an anti-slugging perk that creates an Obsession so the Killer has to respect Decisive Strike. We’re currently moving towards a slugging meta and Decisive Strike is falling out of favor in Red Ranks because it gets respected so much that it rarely gets used. Personally, I think that For the People is lowkey meta and over time it will only grow in popularity11 comments 91 views last activity

At red ranks, Killers rarely tunnel when there's an obsession and if they do tunnel, they slug. The only real way to get a Killer to pick up Decisive is to jump in a locker. But Head On lets you stun the Killer from a locker multiple times. Therefore its a better perk at high level. Case closed9 comments 141 views last activity

There's a new bug that I first noticed in 2.7.1. Some pallets and widows are completely unable to be vaulted while in Frenzy. It's happened on most maps to me and it can really wreck my chases as a Rank 1 Killer. Please acknowledge this and fix it. https://youtu.be/uxE-E0_MNQk4 comments 651 views last activity

Sometimes you have to chew through a lot of pallets in order to create dead zones and get quick chases later on. Gens come first. Leave chases that don't take you near generators. And generally ignore Survivors that aren't near them. If they're gonna self-care in a corner 10 miles away from a gen let them do it. Slugging or dropping Survivors can create a lot of pressure. One of the biggest issues with hexes is having them cleansed right at the beginning of the match. So what if Killers could chose when to activate a hex perk the first time? Once it's activated, it behaves normally and is assigned to a random totem on the map. Ruin could actually be used reliably mid/endgame. Devour/Lullaby could be activated right when you get your first down. I'd imagine for b1 comments 21 views last activity

Mindbreaker could prevent exhaustion recovery while Survivors are working on generators. Wouldn't be overpowered, but it could be an interesting slowdown perk because Survivors have to choose between gen rushing or recovering exhaustion.0 comments 11 views last activity

Freddy is one of those Killers that doesn't need a lot of perks. Ruin is pretty good on him when it doesn't get cleansed because he has strong map pressure, but you can also run it with Pop, so if the Survivors spend a bunch of time finding Ruin you're just like idc bro. The standard Freddy Build is Discordance, BBQ and Pop. Why not have fun with that extra slot? I also like Devour sometimes in2 comments 61 views last activity

I've noticed recently that aggressive playstyles are disappearing. Hardly anyone runs Decisive, Dead Hard is uncommon, and Iron Will is probably the most used perk I see in my Rank 1 Killer lobbies. Heck I'm having games where more people have Urban Evasion than Exhaustion Perks. It's physically painful to lose Killer games because it takes 5 minutes to find a Survivor because they're all hidin15 comments 231 views last activity

Right now there's no real downside to Decisive Strike. You stun the Killer and get away for free. All other Obsession perks have worse drawbacks: Mettle shows your Aura to the Killer. For the People injures you and makes you broken. Object also shows your Aura to the Killer. And Sole Survivor requires your teammates to die. Personally, I feel like Decisive Strike would be a lot more b25 comments 231 views last activity

There's literally no point. Slugging at 5 gens and one hooking everyone because you have crazy add-ons makes all Survivors de-rank and at best gives you brutal killer. If a team is doing that bad, I usually start hooking instead of slugging and let them save so I can farm a merciless killer and end the game at 2-3 gens instead of 5.91 comments 2,621 views last activity

Their power has an extremely punishing fatigue that pretty much makes it useless as mobility. Imagine if a Killer like Billy, Freddy or Spirit had a 4 second stun after using their power to get across the map... wouldn’t be so great would it?0 comments 251 views last activity

My last lobby had three med-kits. Using that knowledge I decided to run sloppy nurse's ghost face. They ran three mist offerings, all had self-care and three urban evasions. Needless to say it was a 4k.13 comments 211 views last activity

For emblems and bloodpoints using For the People doesn't count as healing. I wonder if it even counts as healing for Second Wind? Doesn't make sense to me.5 comments 111 views last activity

Reverse Nurse's Calling. You Aura cannot be seen while healing yourself or someone else. Doesn't apply while being healed by another teammate. Protects both teammates while healing another teammate. Adds more strategic value to staying injured and healing at the right times.10 comments 251 views last activity

It can extend loops with no counterplay. Like if a Survivor messes up a loop or vault they can just Dead Hard to avoid being hit and make it. Even if the Killer knows the Survivor has Dead Hard and is expecting it, sometimes there's nothing they can realistically do about it11 comments 201 views last activity
