The hatch works in these conditions

  1. Three Survivors have died or escaped (spawns and opens)
  2. All generators completed (spawns and opens)

Hatch only allows one Survivor to escape and then closes. It can be opened with a key if closed by the Killer or a Teammate to potentially allow extra escapes.

These changes make hatch an immediate option for one person instead of the gate once the gens pop. It also removes slugging for the 4k because it only spawns after the other three survivors are gone.
