I've been playing him at Rank 1 for months and I finally understand his snares.

... place them slightly in front of vaults so greedy Survivors are forced to medium vault and get hit through windows. that's literally it. preset them at shack and main buildings. but otherwise pretty much exclusively at vaults. it's lowkey broken.

    Honestly I wish Pallet Freddy was the only Freddy. At least that's more interesting, decently strong (though not as strong as snares) and has some counterplay by survivors who pay attention to which pallets are real while they're awake.
