New gamepass account, first ever killer match. Sick of high MMR so I wanted to try out a new killer experience Devs; How can you defend this? It was an instant matchmaking. If I were a new player, id probably just quit after this one match, especially if its on gamepass. Something like extra bp for 100% a tome, and if you 100% all the toems, you get an exclusive cosmetic or 1500 auric to get a free cosmetic on the store. I think this would reward your dedicated players, since some of these challenges are ridiculously hard. If you dont want to alienate new players, I think the auric cell would be cool. It never tricks killers anymore since we all expect it. I have seen people use it, just to use it. The amount of times someone has deadharded into a wall, or some something else stupid with it just makes me laugh. I am trying to go from killer main, to more balanced. Red rank 1 killer, highest I have been as survivor is bronze. I have worked my way up to red 4 survivor. I feel like I have worse teammates than I did at bronze. I am being given ash teammates who are immediately unhooking infront of the killer without bt. I did a test. Loaded up on epic, so it was a new account. I deliberately let everyone in the first 2 matches go. I didnt even hook 1 person. This was my 3rd match. The only reason I bring it up is because damn I hope this isnt what a new player goes through. Was it worth it? I am getting to the point where I am 65% with pretty much all the ones I need being adepts, and some that look really annoying to do. Do you regret going for it since every 3 months there's more? So youre constantly chasing it. Is it better to just give up and not bother, play the game for fun? The thing I like about dbd team matches is no mic is the standard. There is another game on steam that looks so fun, but communication is so required that mics are expected. I like to just chill out after work, and as an introvert I will pick dbd over other games because I find socialising after work exhausting. If you want us to test things in the ptb why can't you make it so everything is unlocked like it is in kill your friends. I really think map offerings should be removed. In a 4v1 game where survivors can pretty much 100 percent pick the map, and the maps can be survivor sided I don't get why they're even in the game anymore.
