Are we rewarded for the highest we get to for the month, or what we are at reset?
Say I hit rank 1 on 10th, but on 12th right before reset im rank 5

You're rewarded for the grade you reach. On the 13th, everyone goes to the lowest grade and the climb starts again.
You dont lose Grades, so when you got up to Grade 1, you stay there.
For the highest you reach, also considering that one can't downgrade anyway (you can lose/gain pips, but you can't move down in grade, only up).

You can't lose grade anymore.
Once you reach iri 1 you can't go back to iri 2
You cannot derank in the new system.
-1 pips only matter within a given grade. E.g. you're gold II and 3 pips, if you have a bet trial and get slapped a -1 you will end up being gold II and 2 pips. However, no matter how many bad games you have, you won't go below gold II unless it's monthly reset.
