Vigil helps survivors recover from every other time-limited status effect sooner except for Incapacitated. I wonder if this is an oversight, as it was something originally only tied to Twins kit, where it is removed by crushing Victor. I’m not saying whether Eruption needs modifications or not, but Vigil should effect the Incapacitated duration to stay consistent.12 comments 311 views last activity

As you may or may not know, a survivor’s MMR is unchanged when they escape through the hatch. While I understand the reasoning for this when all other survivors have died, the exception to me is when other survivors have escaped through the exit gate(s). Sometimes a survivor chooses to hatch escape at this point in the game for extra blood points, a Rift challenge, and/or fun. It’s not due to th19 comments 421 views last activity

Title. What killer goes into a match knowing they're going to get a certain number of kills, and that they'll be able to always down the last survivor? It doesn't just encourage slugging survivors; it demands it. The higher rarity of mori offering, the more expensive and the more risky that you'll get nothing in return. That doesn't seem in line with the way rarity works in this game (t6 comments 101 views last activity

Killer daily, recycle.. another killer daily. Seen the same three killer rituals at least twice. Meanwhile, I'm a survivor main, and the BP bonus is +100% on survivor around the clock. After waiting through a 5-10 minute queue and earning normal blood points, is it even worth it? Now that we have the queue incentives, is it really too much to ask that dailies have both a killer and survivor side2 comments 81 views last activity

In case you didn’t know, altruistic mending comes with a 25% speed penalty relative to self-mending (12 seconds base for self, and 8 seconds for a survivor to mend another survivor). I was wondering why you think this is, as altruistic healing has no such penalty. I’m genuinely just curious! Also, I feel it is against the spirit of the add-ons belonging to Legion and Deathslinger that increase m12 comments 201 views last activity

There are currently only four things that apply this status effect: Two killers' basekits (Twins and Cenobite) One killer's add-on (Huntress) One killer perk (Eruption) For a killer roster as big as Dead by Daylight's is now, this seems strange to me. What would you think if the devs were to add more ways to apply it? Additionally, do you think it should also prevent survivors from opening16 comments 281 views last activity

It would be great if the Reassurance blue active icon was shown to all survivors (not just the hooked survivor), and also showed how much time has past/is left with the usual red progress bar that fills other perks (think We’ll Make It, Tinkerer, etc.).4 comments 101 views last activity

I’m wondering if anyone else has had questionable experiences with this since the latest patch. I thought I noticed something funny myself, then saw a newly released clip on YouTube just now that shows a survivor repeatedly fast and medium vaulting the same wall (well more than three times in a brief period) until the killer DC’d. Weaker was the killer in play there as well. Also, does slow vaul4 comments 151 views last activity

Please implement a system whereby the four players who did not DC loading into a match get faster priority getting into another match. It is especially painful for killer players when a survivor disconnects right now. Thank you!19 comments 311 views last activity

Discordance currently allows a killer to always know when two or more survivors are on any generator at any time. What makes it stand out from many other killer tracking perks is that it has a very common activation condition (this one completely in the survivors’ hands), that is essentially map-wide with no cooldown or restrictions. What if the perk gave aura reading of the survivors on t34 comments 331 views last activity

A while back, the devs reworked Slippery Meat and Small Game because they stated that they did not want perks to have particular interactions with killers. Flash forward to today, we still have Adrenaline waking up a survivor against Nightmare (Freddy), and Iron Maiden providing faster reloads (which I would constitute as different from a locker search ) for Huntress and Trickster. Just curious, is there a reason why this specific survivor interaction is not prevented by madness III? Madness III literally takes precedence over every other survivor action not related to chase - even mending. Is this an oversight, or intentional?4 comments 91 views last activity

I wanted to get the opinion of other players on this specific interaction while playing Dredge. The times I’ve used him, it seems I need to have beyond perfect accuracy to destroy locker locks with a basic attack. Is it just me, or does it seem to require considerable precision to anyone else? Bug, or intended?20 comments 511 views last activity

Hi devs. I appreciate you recently updating Enduring's perk description to clarify that it has no effect on stun times while carrying a survivor. Could you also please update Empathy's in-game description, to how the wiki has it worded (screenshotted below)? Apologies if this isn't the right area, but wasn't sure where else it would fit on the forums. But I wanted to request that you make SWF channels specifically for NA and EU. “Your scratch marks will also fade 5/4/3 seconds sooner, up from 1/2/3.” Not the more sporadic scratch marks buff, but the duration changes according to the perk tier as quoted above. Am I properly understanding that five second faster disappearance will be the new tier III value? Or is that for tier I ? Not only have you proposed zero changes to help survivors basekit against camping (and particularly solos and facecamping), but you’re actually going to be buffing it. 10% faster basekit attack cooldown, each generator taking 10 seconds longer to complete. Congratulations BHVR, we all thought it couldn’t get any worse for survivors. But you’ve really outdone yourself this time.44 comments 621 views last activity

And why. Go! Editing in my list now that I have more time: Hex: Ruin. Already a hex that gives itself away with one tap of a generator at the start of a trial. Nerfed in half, and now deactivates once a survivor dies if it wasn't already cleansed. I don't like this change. It could still give the impression that the add-on is still equipped to your item even though you have none in the inventory, if you're not careful to pay attention that it is more faint than an active add-on that is equipped (see screenshot below). Why not just permanently leave all add-ons available to an item in the inventory, and show this new notification there? Ra1 comments 121 views last activity

The Deathslinger got an add-on change a while back. Honey Locust Thorns is one of his rare (green) add-ons that inflicts mangled. The catch? They have to break free from the spear. So I came here to advocate for it to not require breaking free from the spear. Many other killers have mangled add-ons of the same rarity or lower that are easier to apply, without requiring letting a survivor go fr10 comments 311 views last activity

Iron Grasp could use some love. It's a pretty outdated carrying perk that is overshadowed by all of the others available. Here are my ideas: Dropping a survivor no longer adds wiggle progress, or only a small percentage. This would be an especially welcome change now that wiggle progress no longer decays on slugged survivors. The killer can also now see the survivor's wiggle progress bar while7 comments 61 views last activity

Is there any particular reason Counterforce doesn’t have a token counter? I think it would be a nice quality of life change to the perk, so you can tell how many totems you have personally cleansed. It will also give you a rough idea how long your next cleanse will take to complete. Also, I just now notice in the description that it only indicates it shows the farthest “totem” - regardless of wh0 comments 91 views last activity

Dredge has a far superior teleporting ability, along with a passive ability and add-ons that help it be even stronger. No preset up needed, it’s essentially map wide, survivors can’t deny it (they can barely slow it down). Aside from achievements, dailies, and nostalgia, there’s basically going to be no reason to play Freddy or Demo anymore. Sad. Exhaustion is the only status effect in the game that is reliant on a survivor bringing an exhaustion perk for it to even effect them. If a survivor has no exhaustion perk, it literally does nothing to them. Isn’t this a design flaw? It would be one thing if exhaustion was only self-inflicted; but as we know, there’s a set of killer perks and add-ons that apply it to survivors as well. It does59 comments 771 views last activity

What are your thoughts if there were daily and/or weekly challenges associated with using specific perks? Maybe either equipping the perk for a certain number of trials, or utilizing the perk effectively (i.e. With A Nurse’s Calling equipped, begin chase with a survivor within 10 seconds of their aura being revealed while healing). The idea is twofold: promoting perk variety as well as granting5 comments 31 views last activity

It does nothing to stop the last survivor from escaping through the hatch. Don’t you think it’d be neat if the Entity also blocked the hatch, if a survivor touches a gate or tries to go down the hatch? For the standard duration of the perk.43 comments 621 views last activity

I'm hoping this is one survivor and killer players can agree upon. Suffocation Pit, Azarov's Resting Place, Sanctum of Wrath, and RPD. They all have one thing in common: they are bowtie/hourglass shaped maps, with gens on each side and one or two in the middle. They typically lead to very unfun matches for both roles. These are perks that leave you halfway healed, which will automatically drain over time while suffering from new haemorrhage. That status effect isn’t hard to apply and typically accompanies low rarity add-ons. If these perks weren’t dead before (which they were/are), the haemorrhage rework will be the nail in their coffin. Please give these two perks entirely new, useful effects.8 comments 241 views last activity

The upcoming Legion changes just made me realize something. Survivors have perks to counter every form of tracking except for Killer Instinct.
