  • "Because Hex: Ruin is one of the few tools a Killer has for getting an Iridescent Gatekeeper Emblem, the update needed to respect that." Well you didn't respect that, but instead you're nerfing the hell out of this perk. So basically instead of good skillcheck penalties we get a faster gen regression after it has been kicked. Catering to new survivors that find it "annoying" to deal with Ruin sk

  • WARNING, THIS POST WILL BE A LITTLE LENGTHY! SKIP TO BOTTOM TO SEE PROPOSED IDEAS (READ FULL POST TO UNDERSTAND WHERE I AM COMING FROM) Straight off the Dead By Daylight Wiki, here you have the time it takes for survivors to complete a generator (no Ruin, no great skill checks, no toolboxes, no perks, etc.). First things first, I find the single survivor

  • So I'm currently a rank 10 killer. Every match I get is against red & purple rank survivors. While I try to just face these survivors as best as I can I generally get looped like crazy and can never get a legitimate win. The gens are all done so fast that I have no control on if I can win the game or not. I have maybe seen 5 actual green rank survivors in the past week or so, but they are usu

  • Every time a generator is completed, all windows outside of the killer's TR are blocked from being used for 20/30/40secs. Pallets still remain unaffected, but this allows for some use of this perk while a killer is in chase (sort of). While the area a killer is in isn't impacted by the perk, survivors have to keep moving between tiles to loop a killer, as staying in the same region becomes more r

  • You should not get a notification that the killer has this perk after doing 1 skillcheck. It basically gives away the perk and the survivors will just go hunt for it and get rid of it within seconds like Hex: Ruin. It should only notify survivors once the killer has obtained all 5 tokens (similar to Hex: Devour Hope when the killer gets 3 tokens and starts insta-downing people). This shouldn't be

  • Not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this, but literally 80% of my matches the past few days are against Huntress. I really started noticing it when the double bloodpoint event began. I'm a rank 1 survivor (but not all killer I go against are red ranks), so I'm not sure what the correlation is. I might just be on a lucky Huntress streak or something, just not sure if I missed something about

  • Ever since the dedicated servers came into the game I find it is so much harder to play Plague. Half of the vile I spit at survivors does not register as a hit (when it clearly should). I literally just got out of a match where I had corrupt purge and was literally spraying every survivor since they were trying to be overly altruistic, and not a single hit connected. They all ended up escaping an

  • Who I would like to see? Leatherface, as he has not been changed in a while and might be the most in need, especially with how useless his add-ons are. I also would hope they tweak his chainsaw to be more effective and less of a negative when bumping into objects (especially ones I can't freaking see off screen!). Who I am taking a guess at? Leatherface is a good assumption, but I have a feeling

  • I feel the top 5 and bottom 4 are for the most part undeniable. This takes into account the possible builds you can do with each killer as well. In my opinion, Plague is underrated and Oni is complete garbage (the 2 I feel will cause the most controversy on this list). Feel free to give your thoughts and opinions below, but keep it friendly! Note: from

  • Can people not load in before everyone has the chance to load into a match? Literally have matches where I and other teammates are not loaded in yet but by the time we load in the killer is already chasing/attacking me before I could even move. Just had a match where I was hit by a hatchet while the screen was doing the intro spin around my character. I'm literally defenseless and can't move duri

  • I've been experimenting with SFtS for a little bit now, and I must say this perk is so overlooked. With how careless survivors can be about crows in the environment, I have had so much use of this perk in tracking survivors. Even survivors that try to be immersed give themselves away when they aren't careful. It also does not require you doing something to activate it (such as injuring someone wi

  • Can we just deactivate the rain effect on this map? I literally lose frame rates like crazy on this map only, and I'm almost certain it's because of the rain. I am not on the best computer which I understand plays a role in my frame rate drop, but playing on this map is unbearable with how laggy it gets for me. No other map does this to me, most likely because no other map is as big as this map a

  • I've been playing DBD a lot more since the release of Oni, but I have not had a single match against him. One of my friends even said that he never sees Oni being played, that he has only faced him twice. Is anyone else having a similar situation? I feel like I've had more luck with Demogorgon's who also feels underplayed.

  • The other day I made a post like this for survivor perks, so now I will do the same for killer perks. Here are some ideas I had to balance all killer perks in the game. Some perks I believe to be already balanced, and will be noted so. These are my thoughts/ideas/opinions, so feel free to leave your own down below. For perks involving bloodpoints that I talk about, I use the words "post trial" to

  • So I was loading into a match and I guess I never connected, which forced the match to cancel. I get to the main menu and have a 2 minute DC penalty timer. While I'm in favor of a DC penalty, why should it affect someone who was unable to connect to the match? I don't normally have much trouble loading into matches, but if I do it is generally before the match has even begun. The penalty should

  • These are just ideas that I though of. Feel free to offer your thoughts/ideas below. A few perks are balanced as is, but a majority need some sort of fix. Sorry for this long post in advance, there's just a lot of perks. Ace in the Hole: balanced Adrenaline: If a survivor is downed, functions as is. If a survivor is injured in chase, gains 1 health state and 3 sec speed boost. If not in chas

  • These are a few ideas I had that could potentially be added to Legion to increase the effectiveness of Feral Frenzy. (Note: not all of these ideas should be added to Legion together, as it could be relatively OP to have all these in his power.) Let me know what you think of these ideas, what combinations of these ideas you would like to see, or chime in with your own ideas. 1) While in Feral Fr

  • Great add-on and really strong in general, but can we get like a small indicator as to which trap we are aiming to teleport to? I have issues where I go to teleport to one trap and manage to get teleported to another one close to the intended trap. It could be similar to Freddy's gen teleport indicator. I feel like it isn't asking much for this, so it should be reasonable and easy to implement.

  • So being that the Pig has no endgame potential anymore, her RBTs have become a bit weaker. The RNG is a bit screwed for her as well, since the traps are so easy to get off. So I have some proposed changes to make to her traps (as well as to her crouching/dash abilities) a bit more useful. 1) Once a generator is completed while someone has a RBT on, the timer begins. For each additional generator

  • I'm finding that each killer seems to have those specific "useless" add-ons that almost no one uses. Probably the biggest example is the acceleration add-ons for Leatherface. If they are so underused and underwhelming, why haven't the devs changed/fixed them to be more beneficial? Killers like Myers and Leatherface only have a handful of add-ons that actually help the killer do anything. Also, m

  • So I don't see why this game doesn't have a system in which a survivor chooses their role prior to the match starting. For example, you can have the team medic, a "gen jockey", a distraction/chase guy, or something along the lines of all that. You could have a whole new ranking system in which you can only rank up if you perform well in your chosen role. This doesn't mean survivors who are medics

  • If a survivor unhooks another survivor within the first 10 seconds of that person being hooked, the rescuer receives an exposed status. The exposed status lasts for 40/50/60 seconds. This can punish those people who go for quick, ballsy saves and counters the in-your-face BT rescuers (hence the name). Thoughts or tweaks to the perk?

  • This is my opinion on how the tier list should go. In each tier, the killers are ranked from best to worst as well (best on the left, worst on the worst). Here are quick explanations for each killer: Legion has the most useless power. Leatherface has the most inconsistent power and crap addons. Trapper is third worst because his power is time consumin

  • The killer is determined to catch their prey, no matter what. Perk activates when the killer gains Bloodlust 1. The perk prevents the loss of bloodlust when breaking a pallet. (Bloodlust is still lost when hitting/downing a survivor or losing the survivor in chase) Thoughts?

  • As killer, I hate borrowed time because I always end up in matches against overly altruistic players who like making BT saves in the killers face. My problem is I can never get away from the hook without people just rushing at it for the free save points. It clearly has some abuseable mechanics to it, but it is also the best perk in helping to counter campers/tunnelers. My original idea was to ju

  • Both Myers and Ghost Face have to stalk survivors to get their power working. I have a few problems when it comes to when I am stalking with them. Firstly, how can you not stalk someone through corn properly? Do the devs not realize that 90% of the Rotten Fields map is corn, making stalking difficult as hell? Secondly, I have issues where I can't even stalk a survivor that I see a good portion o

  • If you are the last remaining survivor in the match, you gain a 15/20/25% speed bonus to opening up the exit gate. You also have a keen sense in finding alternative routes of escape. The black lock (hatch) aura is revealed to you when it is within a 24m radius.

  • I have 3 in mind: Legion, Trapper, and Leatherface. Legion has the most useless power, but he's the newest of these 3 killers. Trapper is the oldest killer and the face of the game, but his trapping ability is quite poor/time consuming. Leatherface has a power that essentially is useless without speed or charge add-ons, rendering him an M1 killer that most people use to troll on survivors (baseme

  • Here are my proposed changes: 1) OoO has a 5 second use when looking in the killers direction. After which it goes on a cooldown for 100/80/60 seconds (depending on tier of the perk). The ranges would stay the same as they currently are. 2) It cannot be used within the opening sequence for a survivor when the match begins. Has a 5 second timer at start of match before perk becomes active. 3) I

  • I think aura reading shouldn't work if the killer is in stealth. This applies to Ghost Face in night shroud, Pig in crouch, and Myers in tier 1 (debatably tier 2 too) as well. Even the new Freddy (who I hear is visible using OoO and Dark Sense now). These are the more noteable "stealthy" killers, and I think a minor buff to their stealth/invisibility abilities should be an immunity to aura readin

  • A few of the Youtubers/streamers I've been watching who are well known for their DBD content seem to be getting more annoyed with this game. I don't know if I'm just seeing things or if its just a trend because of the current state of the game. For instance, TydeTyme has completely abandoned the game because of his loss of interest in it. Anyone else feel like they are noticing this trend as well

  • Wasn't sure what category to put this in, but I come across this problem a lot as killer so here is where seemed best. It's stupid how someone rushes the hook to save and I go to hit that person but it somehow hits the hooked person. I get robbed of a hit very often because of this. I'm aiming at the rescuer but somehow I hit the hitbox of the hooked survivor instead. Also the rescuer can run int

  • I've been trying to find out how they work, but I swear I feel no effect on anything when using them. He has very few worth it add-ons it feels like and I'm beginning to run out of those specific ones. If you have any recommendations for add-on combos for him feel free to let me know.

  • The rework was a step in the right direction, but still has its flaws. My proposed changes would be: 1) Catching/grabbing the survivor (off gens, in lockers, etc.) shouldn't trigger the skill check. 2) Once another survivor is hooked, DS deactivates for any player that may have their DS timer still running. 3) If enduring can't counter the stun of DS, either make that so or reduce the stun tim

  • These 2 perks seem to be overly strong and used on a majority of survivors. Borrowed time definitely is the worse of the 2, but Adrenaline does have it's OP moments. It should get a similar treatment to Mettle of Man and Decisive Strike that balanced out those perks a bit. My problem with BT is that it is abused by overly altruistic players who will unhook right in the killer's face. The risk

  • I find it annoying and also a bit distracting how survivors can just jump over pallets/windows a million times far away from the killer to cause noise disturbance. It happens with SWFs or survivors intentionally trying to be chased for me. I usually ignore it but sometimes the sound of it messes with me trying to hear someone I'm chasing or looking for. There needs to be a limit on these alerts h

  • This really only works for Trapper, Hag, and from the sound of it the new (and hopefully improved) Freddy. A huge downside to these killers is that they have to place their traps around and waste time while survivors get started on gens. These killers should be allowed to get a slight headstart of some sort to begin trap placement. It would make them a little more viable in the long run. If t

  • (Sorry for the pictures being sideways, they won't turn right side up) This is from a Myers game: no Mori, Tombstone, or Infinite Tier 3 (some decent addons though). It was on Badham preschool and the survivors didn't even have toolboxes. But still, the game was over in under 5 minutes because everyone was gen

  • Why do I get to heavily punished for hook proximity when the team is overly altruistic? There should be something where it doesn't count against you if another survivor is within a certain range of the hook. Literally got -15% because of this since it was endgame and I had 2 survivors (both with borrowed time) coming from either side to get the hooked survivor. There were even exit gates close en

  • Before survivor mains attack me for this just know I play both survivor and killer about equally. In both roles I hate how easy it is to do gens. I think the time to complete a gen should be increased big time and there should be a decent penalty for 2+ people on a gen. As killer, gen rushing can't be stopped by ruin most of the time. Also, by the time I get my first hook I always end up wit

  • The biggest weakness about hex totems is easily how visible they are to survivors. To fix this, I say cover all spots in which a totem can be with a pile of leaves or rubble. It blocks visibility of all totems on the map, and the way survivors can make the totems visible is by clearing the debris off of the spots. This action of cleaning the debris should only take about 2-3 seconds. If a totem g

  • As we all know Leatherface is quite underwhelming and is easily looped by most survivors when it comes to using his chainsaw, rendering him almost an M1 killer. To strengthen use of his chainsaw, the charge up meter should be broken into segments (3, maybe 4). For that first segment, it should a quick charge up for a single swing. This can be helpful in getting those quick chainsaw hits just befo
