  • This perk to me originally sounded better on paper, but was niche in application. I think I have an idea of how to give it a good and meaningful buff (to keep in the spirit of all the crazy perk changes coming to Dead by Daylight next patch). Description: When a survivor is healed to 70% by another survivor, the healing survivor is faced with continuous skill checks. If they miss one or stop

  • So I want to play the game and unlock the cosmetics and rewards for the anniversary event, but I cannot even get into the game now because of crashing. I start the game up and it goes fine, that is until after the Roots of Dread trailer plays. Following the trailer, the screen goes black and then an error pop up screen appears saying the game has crashed. I have tried several potential solutions

  • So I did the first trivia and got the first code and already redeemed that one perfectly fine. Today I got the second code from the second trivia question, but when I entered it into the redeem code section of the in game store it said it was already claimed. Any one else have a similar issue? I just replied to the email from which the code was sent, but not sure if they will see that email or re

  • I get the aim of hit validation (especially through pallets when the killer gets stunned while hitting the survivor) is to reduce the amount of hits on a survivor that look like they shouldn’t land on their end, but all it did in return is make things worse on the killer side of things. It’s not even reasonable at times how some of these hits don’t count. I was literally right behind this one sur

  • I’ve played countless games as both killer and survivor over the last week and have not seen the new map once. After it being banned for as long as it was, it seems as though it is still secretly banned for certain players or is almost impossible to get in general. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know why the map is super hard to get a match on? Feel kinda ripped off buying this DLC

  • Can someone clarify what the goal of this challenge is? I don’t understand if I’m supposed to have someone step in my trap, reset it, then step in it again or if I need to have a trap disarmed by a survivor, reset, and then someone steps in it. What does it mean by activated by a survivor first? Very bad wording of this challenge, thought I developed dysl

  • Victor is just as much the killer as Charlotte is. Without him, Charlotte is just a lame M1 killer that sleeps occasionally. Give the tiny man a tiny crown, NOW!

  • The more I play this map, the more I actually don’t mind it as much. When it first released, and with the original Object of Obsession, this map was kind of busted. With certain killers like the Hag and Nurse, this map can still be kind of busted. But I rarely ever see those two killers anymore (in my survivor experience), so it’s not that big of an issue to be honest. The pallets and windows i

  • Okay let me clear the air right now since I’ve been called toxic so many times this past week for doing my objective (and making the game less annoying and hard for myself). These are things I consider to be fine to do as a killer, though some survivors seem to find it toxic: Hitting a survivor right after hooking them (I do this to stop their scream). Returning to hook after an unhook has occ

  • After playing many games with Nemesis over the past few days, I feel as though there is nothing that great about Nemesis and his power. People compare him to Pyramid Head, and while yes that is true, his power is nowhere near as strong. He has too many flaws that make his power more of a hindrance than a blessing. Overall, I rate him as a C tier at best until he receives some further buffs. Firs

  • To break down the categories a bit more: Perfect - no real buffs/nerfs are needed in my opinion. The most they might require is a few add-ons being altered (more so for Pyramid Head, Demo, & Freddy). Slight Changes - all need some add on adjustments, their base powers could also use a few QoL improvements to make them stronger (or weaker in the case

  • Now survivors have an arsenal of good perks that give them certain abilities that can be game altering. This isn’t always a bad thing (like with Unbreakable or the new DS), but after playing many games with and against these perks, I feel like I have enough knowledge to say that Iron Will and Spine Chill are a bit too strong at times. In a game where sound is just as important as sight, Iron

  • It’s a shame that he was removed from the Fog Whisperer Program. He did nothing wrong and then Jen, who openly admitted to starting to the drama on Twitter, apologizes for her wrong assumption about Tru3. This in itself should be why he is put back into the program, as she basically initiated a cancel attack on Tru3 that then prompted Dead by Daylight to react. After revisiting the stream where

  • All this counterplay nonsense and debates about if Spirit is counterable are going nowhere. Spirit does have counterplay, but it is not the most reliable counterplay in that you are meant to throw her off so she loses track of you but if you can’t do that then you’re screwed (a bit harder when you’re injured). It is exactly like going against Nurse, except a Nurse feels more punished when you tri

  • Many killers have received buffs/nerfs/reworks recently that have had varying degrees of impacts on their strengths, so I figured I’d post my personal updated tier list of every killer. Everyone in B tier or higher is viable at high ranks in my opinion (debatably not Ghost Face). Feel free to give me your thoughts and opinions below! (Keep it civil please

  • All stealth killers include: Myers, Ghost Face, Pig, and debatably Deathslinger (depending on perks and play style). I know for a while Ghost Face was considered the top of the bunch, but I always felt like with add-ons that Wraith had the slight upper hand. Now that Wraith has received buffs recently, I think it is safe to say that Wraith is the ultimate stealth killer. I don’t get why he is co

  • We all know Trickster is a bad killer (in my opinion the worst killer currently), so let’s just get to the point. These are the changes I think would benefit Trickster: 1) Make the amount gained on the laceration meter from a single knife hit increase the further the distance he is from the survivor. This would incentivize using his power at a range, for which there is almost no reason to ever d

  • Plague is a very underwhelming killer that is rarely seen these days. It sucks because her power can be limited by people who don’t want to cleanse and would rather just gen rush, making gameplay as and against her very boring. So I have a proposed solution to push gameplay to be more around her corrupt purge instead of her vile purge. Survivors who become sick suffer from 3 phases of sicknes

  • Head On is pretty broken and no one seems to be talking about it. The hitbox for coming out of the locker lasts longer than it should and has a ridiculous reach on the killer. Several times in the past week (and this has been going on for a bit now), I’m getting stunned at ranges that seem way out of the way of the survivor and locker. It happens a lot when I’m baiting head on because I know some

  • This map just feels terrible to play on. First off, there still seem to be some major hit box bugs in and around the main building after that newest patch. Then it’s the fact that the ramps to get into the main building are badly designed, particular at the one near the window by the main entrance. If a survivor jumps through to the outside, the killer is meant to try and mind game by going outsi

  • I think this would be sick. Her lullaby is what gets survivors on edge & hiding in the first place. But now she should be able to have an add on that mutes it, giving her the opportunity to sneak up on unsuspecting survivors. It could have the downside of a slightly increased TR, but nothing too crazy that would defeat the purpose of a Huntress that can get close without people noticing. Thou

  • Is it just me or does Plague feel terrible to play with the current state of the game? I hit people with her vomit consistently but a majority of the time the player doesn’t even gain infection or get injured unless I hit them in the dead center of their character model. It may have something to do with hit validation and the fact that my PC isn’t the greatest thing on the market, but it shouldn’

  • I had the idea when playing a game as the Pig. A nice buff that could be given to the Twins would be that any survivor who tries to escape through the exit gate with Victor still attached is automatically killed. The animation could be something such as Victor ripping or biting out their throat, snapping their neck, or something else that would kill the survivor on the spot. It would be like the

  • Dear god the Twins are a train wreck. This killer is absolutely terrible to play, and for quite a few reasons. 1) Lockers still hard counter Victor. 2) Victor sometimes gets bugged into the ground & can't move. 3) Sometimes the transition from Victor to Charlotte (or vice versa) bugs into a black screen. 4) Victor will die for no reason sometimes when pouncing. 5) It is super easy to kil

  • Claudettes in dark clothes or their P3 outfit need a color nerf because of just how dark they are. On maps like the Macmillan Estate & the Yamaoka maps (or pretty much any maps with dark themes or lots of foliage to hide in), Blendette's usually excel at being immersed unlike any other survivor in the game. Not to mention that she is a also short survivor anyways. Her ability to be immersed

  • I think this map is gonna be miserable to play on as killer (besides maybe Trapper, Ghost Face, & Pig). The grass on the ground is practically everywhere & it's so thick that it's hiding scratch marks from the killer (especially shorter killers). Blendette's are going to thrive on this map way more than the previous iteration of the map. The grass even hides blood very well, so all a Blen

  • So after the release of the Hillbilly & Leatherface reworks, they had their addons adjusted to actually be good or useful in some way. In particular with the Hillbilly, they fixed both of his ultra rare addons (which one was later swapped to be very rare with Apex muffler). Bubba's Ultra Rare addons were already showing some good results, which is why they were not really altered that much.

  • I'm getting really frustrated with how trash these hitboxes have become. So a few times today, I was robbed of a free hit on a survivor that was trying to unhook in my face. I intentionally made sure I was aiming directly at them & trying to avoid somehow hitting the hooked person, but still it registers as hitting the hooked survivor. Clearly on my end, I'm am staring directly at the back of

  • So I'm finding in my own experience since the release of this system, the killers I do best with are having matches against low rank potatoes (Oni, Wraith, Doctor, etc.). The killers I usually have trouble securing victories with are being paired against players who seem to be pros at the game (mostly Nurse & Trapper tbh). The killers I play the least are also being matched against some hardc

  • Alright, now I'm a red rank solo survivor that has about 1.6K hours in the game. I would like to think I'm decent at survivor, as I usually end up carrying my teams that struggle doing gens or that can't hold chase for that long. I'm not trying to say I'm a god tier survivor, but I think I should at least be ranked as competent & efficient according to the MMR system. Apparently that is not t

  • So there seem to be a few addons that were given to Hillbilly that seem basically useless or make you a weaker killer than it should. I could argue that anything to do with chainsaw cooling & increasing the Overheat limit is also kind of useless now, as I feel the Overheat mechanic was fixed to the point of not even needing these addons really, but some people might find those a bit more usef

  • Some might call this stereotyping, but I assure you this list is fairly accurate (at least in my experience). And to let everyone know, I am an Ash main, but I feel like I don't fit the stereotype of being an average skill player (especially for a red rank solo queue that understands how to do gens). • I don't get why survivors are given a chance every single match of finding a key (though yes the odds of pulling a purple or pink key is quite low). They already have a chance at hatch (the last survivor does), they can bring their own key, they can bring perks to increase the odds of finding a key, or they can just do gens like an efficient survivor team & still escape. Imagine how it would

  • Unbreakable is quite a powerful perk in the game & can literally be the sole reason the outcome of a match changes. It is the perfect counter to slugging, which has become a common tactic for killers as it is a means of buying time for themselves (due to gen speeds). Unbreakable is quite nasty when combined with perks such as Decisive Strike, Flip Flop, Soul Guard, & Tenacity. It's arguab

  • So Spirit seems to be a bit controversial in that countering her is not easily done, especially when you can't tell if she is phasing or not majority of the time. There are usually 2 small signs you get that she is phasing. If you are close enough to her husk, the shards of glass will glow brighter (usually you have to be on top of the husk to notice this). The second telltale is that she can sti

  • This is just my opinion on which moris I find to be the most fun & unique. Within tiers, the best moris will be furthest to the left (so Oni is my favorite, Hillbilly is my least). I feel like moris have become a lot more inventive & interesting over the years, so a lot of older moris will appear lower because they feel so outdated. I would love f

  • You showed us the data when you decided to nerf Ruin. I'm over that now & accept Ruin for what it is, but if you want to talk about nerfing perks that seem way too prominent then lets see survivor perk data. Guarentee DS, BT, Iron Will, etc. all show a similar pattern as Ruin did, yet nothing is done about them. I will say Iron Will has probably skyrocketed more recently due to it being bugge

  • I've been thinking about Trapper a bit & changes he could receive to buff his character. Then I thought about how he's a trap-based killer, so could he potentially have access to multiple types of traps? I don't see how this would be too much of an issue except maybe only 2 trap types could be possible on him at any given time since buttons for killer are limited. But maybe diversifying his t

  • So I've been saying for some time now that I think Myers is a bit weak & outdated. Yes, he has some builds that can really make him threatening to a good amount of teams. But at base with average perks, he seems to be too weak to handle any decent team. So my thoughts of how to give him some love being that he hasn't seen much change in a while: 1) Update his addons. • These are two killers who I would say needed absolutely no changing to their base kit/powers. Yeah they had some broken add-on combos that needed nerfing, but that's literally it. They were powerful in their own ways, but I don't think their abilities could of been considered OP prior to their changes. They actually required skill to play effectively, especially at higher ranks. Giving them coold

  • Just a quick thought I had after playing around with the new version of Knockout. Deerstalker should also have an additional effect of the survivor recovering 10/15/20% slower while in the dying state. Knockout was given a buff in that the downed survivor is 50% slower for 15 seconds & they get the blindness status effect, but nerfed in that it must be from a basic attack. I think a small buf

  • So we will begin with Leatherface. I will start off by saying that his changes are indeed buffs. He received a nerf technically in his camping abilities, but why should we care about that anyways. His chainsaw feels smoother to activate, feels much more threatening at particular loops, & he doesn't have to be on top of players in order to make use of it. You can control how long you chainsaw

  • He has a new addon that allows you to continue chainsawing through a pallet. The downside is hitting a survivor only removes one health state (rather than a typical instadown with the saw). Now I've been messing around with the addon & it is making every chainsaw I do count as a single hit instead of an instadown. It does this even if I'm not chainsawing through a pallet. Is this how the addo

  • The chainsaw bros are getting their changes within the coming weeks, so now to look at what killers need looking into next. For starters, I would say Clown & Legion need it the most. Clown has a weak power, & it's super janky & inconsistent. Legion has a power that has little use besides injuring multiple people in a short duration of time, if you can even injure more than 1 person.

While I'm pretty sure his gas bottles are gonna remain the way the are (as an anti-chase tool) with maybe some QoL updates to them, I had an idea of something additional that could be added to how his gas works.
