So I'm trying to just play some games to unlock these crown cosmetics. I'm also using some high-value offerings (in this case my survivor puddings were stolen) so I can just rack up some bloodpoints while I do this. And what do you know, I'm getting caught in infinite loading screens every so often. To make things worse, if I close the game while in this endless cycle of loading it doesn't give m0 comments 11 views last activity

The patch has made playing killer infuriating. Can't hear survivors. Can't hear generators. Survivor scratch marks are bugging out. Grabs are still not fixed. Every map is either the best RNG for survivors with strong loops all stacked together or every area ends up being a dead zone. The new map is god awful to play on. And when you get down to the last 2 survivors on the map they just hide &32 comments 511 views last activity

I think this might just be an issue on the new map because it's the only place where this is happening for me. But when working on generators, occasionally the sound gets muffled & cannot be heard beyond like 4 meters or so. I noticed it 3 times when I was playing survivor, & once as killer (ALL OF THIS OCCURRING TODAY ALONE). I can't tell what the cause of it is. When I was survivor, I'd5 comments 81 views last activity

On PC (Steam user). So I was playing survivor & began working on the gen in the chemistry classroom in the new map. For the first maybe 10% of the gen, the sound was fine. Out of nowhere the sound just went really low & muffled (wasn't even moving my camera around). Still could hear it slightly, but it had a range of maybe 4 meters of sound & was not even the normal volume. I tested i0 comments 21 views last activity

Yes, I know Pyramid Head has only been out for 2 days, but I think I've got a good idea of where he lies on the list. A month down the road when survivors pick up on his counterplay I might change my stance, but for right now he feels like a B to me since he lacks map pressure. What he has that makes him a B is time management & an alright anti-loop t87 comments 26,866 views last activity

At first I thought this add-on would be a bit gimmicky & could have some sort of use besides a knock-off Insidious, but that's all it is. It has a little more potential on indoor maps like Hawkins, Midwich, & maybe Lery's or Haddonfield [maps with tight corridors & choke points], but beyond that it is terrible. So essentially, you have to place down your Trails of Torment & then w11 comments 141 views last activity

Just ranted about how useless blindness is unless going for a toxic slugging build. Gave some ideas to maybe change/buff the blindness status effect so that it actually has more uses. But anyway, at the moment it is a relatively worthless effect & is why The Third Seal is the worst of the Hex perks. So, easy solution. Change the blindness status effect caused by the perk into Oblivious. Now23 comments 851 views last activity

These might be some of the worst types of add-ons on literally any killer who has them. Pig, Huntress, Freddy (and one of them is a purple add-on for him mind you), etc. If anything, add-ons that have these status effects should all be brown. Dirt cheap. Trash tier. Some ideas I had for changes: 1) Change what status effect these add-ons apply. Like maybe Blindness add-ons can be switched up to0 comments 21 views last activity

I'm just curious on if this is even in the works still or if it is coming anytime soon. So a while back, the devs had a livestream (maybe a Q&A or a dev update stream) where they mentioned they were working on Hillbilly & Leatherface changes. I know these changes were going to mostly focus on reworking/updating their add-ons, with a potential of revisiting their powers to maybe make some5 comments 151 views last activity

I'm curious as to how used the Shrine actually is. I find it quite useless being that I own every killer/survivor, so I could just level them up to get the teachables rather than waste Iridescent Shards on them in the Shrine. In my opinion, it's better to just save up the shards & use them for a full character rather than just their perks (if they even pop up in the Shrine that is). This is probably the dumbest thing about totems, especially when they are Hex totems. Like the totems are there to be an additional, small objective for survivors that either want extra boldness pts or that need to get rid of a hex curse. So why is that little side objective directly next to the main objective 90% of the time? Not to mention the hiding spots of totems in general is god awful (not37 comments 881 views last activity

Just a cool thought I had. So for example, Huntress has add-ons that are different heads to her hatchets that grant different buffs. It would be really neat to make that also visually alter the hatchet head of her in-game model. This could apply to almost every killer in some way, even though some add-ons are not linked to something on the character's person. Maybe for add-ons that are not items3 comments 51 views last activity

I figure that would be a nice little QoL update for the way tome challenge selection works. Currently, if you want to switch roles while still doing challenges you have to go into the Archives & manually switch to a challenge of the role you want to play next. Just for convenience sake, it would be nice to be able to select 1 challenge for each role so I don't have to keep changing everything3 comments 61 views last activity

So I'm sure a good amount of you are aware that Wraith's bell sound is a bit bugged to where the sound fully plays out even if you stop uncloaking (if not well now you know). If you just tap M2 for a millisecond, the bell sound fully plays out even though you aren't in bell ringing animation. This is really noticeable when using the bone clapper add-on. But this is actually a cool bug because it8 comments 241 views last activity

It's matches like these that make my day as killer. When a team tries to play toxic as heck & still loses. Trying to sabo every hook, rush the gens, hook bombing, etc. Feelsgoodman. But a feelsbadman for the one guy who was a solo, got caught up in their mess.4 comments 211 views last activity

I'm just curious what others may be experiencing. Some killers who can be quite strong don't seem that prominent in red ranks. I'm in PST in the US, & mine are as follows: Most to least Common - 1) Freddy (I face at least 5 daily) 2) Huntress 3) Doctor 4) Myers 5) Legion 6) Trapper 7) Oni 8) Leatherface 9) Spirit 10) Demogorgon 11) Deathslinger 12) Hillbilly 13) Plague 14) Ghos19 comments 191 views last activity

So I've been working at this challenge of falling from great heights while in chase, & I've come to the conclusion that this challenge sucks. My reasons why: 1) Either some of these falls do not register, or apparently I don't know what it means by a great height. Like if you fall from a hill tile, sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn't. If anything, define what a great height means.6 comments 371 views last activity

This goes for both killer & survivor. Recently made a post about why Freddy is annoying/boring & needs changes, mostly because of how strong he is with Pop & BBQ (I'm a solo player, so I rarely see a win against him because solo teams can't coordinate like SWF & every Freddy out there is super anti-gen). Everyone is comparing how these perks on Freddy is as boring as DH, DS, Unbre44 comments 621 views last activity

You are just the worst kind of person. You must hate having fun. You're the type of person to remind the teacher to collect the homework that everyone was hoping they would forget about. Now I am not one to say that Freddy is overpowered by any means, but I do now see why so many people in the community find him annoying. It's the fact that every Freddy runs the exact same build. Freddy gets immese value from BBQ & Pop, & I don't think I have versed a single Freddy that isn't running that perk combo in months. 75% of the Freddy's I face are hardcore anti-gen build Freddys146 comments 2,652 views last activity

So I think it is safe to say that Deathslinger is not a top tier killer & has a power that doesn't seem to fully justify his 110% movement speed. While I get his gun can capture survivors before reaching a loop, it generally does a poor job at this because the instant a survivor can make a loop the smart thing for them to do is just drop the pallet. In most cases, this makes his power rather0 comments 31 views last activity

So last patch came with a bunch of changes to maps with noteable issues. This is what the game needed & it still currently needs this on a good amount of maps. The maps I feel need some looking into are: Disturbed Ward (most in need of fixing, too big & main building too safe) Haddonfield (we all know why it needs fixing) Mount Ormond (too big, too many jungle gyms next to one another)9 comments 101 views last activity

So I'm a rank 7 killer at the moment (somehow got reset back to 8 this morning when I was 4 yesterday but that's besides the point). All I keep getting matched with is a bunch of low rank survivor groups. Occasionally there is a red or purple amongst the group, but for the most part its consistently yellows & browns. Now I have a feeling this is going to be a controversial opinion, but just tapping a gen to stop it's regression is so idiotic. I don't think it's a game breaking issue by any means, but its definitely annoying from a killer perspective. As a killer, you have to undergo a kick animation of a few seconds in order to make a gen begin regressing. All of that can instantly be undone by a survivor sim58 comments 1,031 views last activity

On PC, playing as Feng Min against Pig on Autohaven Wreckers. The hook behind the main building I was unhooked & got stuck in the spot I stood for the rest of the game. My misery was eventually ended by Pig's trap that beeped away until all I saw was darkness. Managed to use the bathroom during that time. No one came to my help. All I feel is pain. This is MY opinion. If I don't find your main that fun then I am not sorry lol. D & F are more of the boring/annoying characters personally. I would put Plague higher but ever since dedicated servers I feel I always get robbed of hits with her vomit. And I get people find Deathslinger fun, but he just is not my taste. Plague would be a decent killer to play at high ranks, but she is the hardest killer to pip with. More often than not a 4K with Plague results in a black pip. Anything less & there's a good chance you'll depip in the red ranks. It's been an issue with her for as long as I can remember, but nothing has been done about it. Can we do something about this already because I actually like Plague &a0 comments 41 views last activity

I wanted to see what other people's opinions were regarding all of the map & gen speed changes that have recently occurred in the latest patch. The newest patch changed some very strong loops into weaker ones, fixed some map sizes, tweaked tiles a bit, & increased the penalty of survivors working together on gens. So Nurse, as pretty much everyone knows, got "reworked" a while back to give her a cooldown on blinking where she has to recharge her blinks over time. I get what the devs were trying to do, which is to make her less powerful as she basically counters any survivors means of defense. But honestly it's poorly executed. Running straight is now an easy counter to Nurse, not to mention that her count57 comments 691 views last activity

So I've been playing DBD mobile since it released last night (I am using a Samsung Galaxy S7 currently). Played several killer & survivor matches, plus the tutorials, to see what the experience is like. While I am for the idea of DBD trying a mobile platform, my honest opinion is that it is rough to play on mobile. Here is why: 1) The controls are a bit wonky. Both can really change the flow of a match entirely & rob the other side of a chance to win. I don't think removing them from the game entirely is on the devs mind, so a rework is in order for each. Mori - Leave the momento (yellow) mori as is. Make the ivory (green) & ebony (pink) mori only work on a survivor's death hook. Having the mori ready after the survivor's first hook is unfair,0 comments 21 views last activity

Previously made one on killer perks, so here is the survivor perk installment. Again, best to worst is in order from left to right within tiers. This is my opinion. From left to right is the rankings within tiers. How the tiers can be classified: S - best perks for killer, really strong A - strong perks, all are valuable B - good perks, generally work better in synergies, serve their purpose C - very mediocre/low value perks, need QoL fixes or number adjustments D - bad perks, too situational22 comments 2,313 views last activity

Every killer hates flashlight saves, but honestly I don't mind them. Unless the save makes absolutely no sense. I've been noticing more & more recently that survivors are pulling off flashlight saves but are not even in front of me. A lot of the time I physically can't see the survivor because they're outside of my FOV. So how are they getting flashlight stuns from such odd angles? And yes I9 comments 1,031 views last activity

The ranking within tiers is left to right for best to worst. To clarify my thoughts, the last 3 in B tier can be interchangeable depending on who you ask. Yes I think Deathslinger is not that good (debateably bottom of B). Wraith would be higher, but he isn't because I think he is too addon dependent. I feel like progress on Killer changes has been too slow lately, when it shouldn't be honestly. While some QoL fixes/reworks for killer powers are needed ASAP, I think one of the biggest issue for all killers is that they all have some useless add-ons. The killers with the worst addons in my opinion include: Myers, Leatherface, Pig, & Legion Addons allow for killers to receive boosts &8 comments 141 views last activity

So popular opinion seems to be the Clown. Legion was my personal pick for worst killer as of last patch. Now Deathslinger is telling both Clown & Legion to hold his moonshine while he takes the title. Leatherface is throwing a tantrum & facecamping in the basement because he just wants a rework. And Pig has given up & just wants her snoot booped.56 comments 2,522 views last activity

So Deathslinger in my opinion is very lack luster. His weapon can prove useful in certain situations, but it feels like a worse Shred or Hatchet throw. The add-on that grants shots from 15+ meters an expose status effect feels useless mainly because landing a shot is so wonky from a distance. His mori does not reload his gun yet he reels it in during the animation. If you shoot someone over a pal0 comments 31 views last activity

So everyone knows about the trick to getting past Trapper's traps just by dead harding over them. Not only is this unfair, it literally makes no logical sense. It is unfair because a survivor basically can completely ignore a trap & extend the chase they were just in. So I haven't touched the game in 3 weeks (except to log on to see the free Year of the Rat cosmetics we got). Not that I quit the game, I have just been too busy to play at the moment. So watching their new Q&A, I have a better appreciation for their decision to change Hex: Ruin. At first, I was totally against it & did not think it was a good change during the PTB. I did see this as a way to just make things easier & less annoying for survivors (which basically this is still the case whether it was fully intended to be this way). So I had some suspicions that the killer numbers on PS4 were quite low. What made me think this at first was when I would be getting matches with ranks that were all over the place. For the love of God can this issue be resolved already. I made a post about this issue back in June of 2019 (even though it existed since before then)... & it's January 2020! This is an idea I had that I feel would help with the gen rush issue going on in the game at the moment. I did take into consideration that survivors don't want to hold M1 any longer, & I am not talking about adding a second objective in this. This is strictly an idea that could be easily implemented in the current gen system the game has now. WARNING: THIS WILL BE A LONG POST, & NOT EVE0 comments 21 views last activity

So we finally got a rework to the Lery's map that is meant to go along with the rework to Doctor (makes sense). It wasn't even the most requested map rework (which I'm pretty sure is Haddonfield), but still got an update. Despite that, the devs are now going to look into making another map/realm rework in the near future, so what could it be? What map I want to be reworked the most? Firstly, you have to analyze the killer as is & determine what his strong points & weak points are. Strong Points: 1) Can instadown people. This includes multiple people in one shot. 2) Chainsaw breaks pallets, has a little mindgame potential in this. 3) Super strong basement potential. Weak Points: 1) Tantrum - bumping into objects causes a 5 sec stun where his chainsaw still hits.6 comments 361 views last activity

Surge is such a crap perk at the moment & barely has any effect in the long run of most matches. Instead of tampering with Ruin to decrease its use in the meta, maybe buffing the already existing crap regression perks would be the smart move. Surge is arguably the worst regression perk in the game, so here is how this new Ruin concept could be applied to Surge: Every time you down a survivor3 comments 211 views last activity

Since survivors can complain about what's annoying and get it fixed no problem, maybe if killers complain enough they can get fixes/overhauls to some unbalanced survivor perks/add-ons/items/etc. Here is a list of what I find annoying to play against: 1) Decisive Strike - anti tunnel perk that grants 60 secs of immunity (unless you happen to miss such an easy skill check).
