Wglf is now a cracked anti slugging perk
Not really. Limited uses and is no different than running Soul Guard.
-
Bbq, and Ruin are dead. DS, IW, and Self Care, and Spine Chill, and WGLF are dead.
Bbq because no bp means no reason to run.
Ruin, it's Call of Brine that can be lost.
DS is trash tier now. Pathetic stun with even more restrictions.
Iron Will lost it's entire reason to exist.
Self Care is by far the worst perk in the game now.
Spine Chill no longer does what is was there to do.
WGLF, same problem as BBQ.

You gave survivors basekit BT and killers got nothing... Also you destroyed all of our gen regress perks
They buffed the ######### out of Overcharge as well as small ones to Jolt and Thana. So bullshit killers got nothing. Not to mention they nerfed DS into the ground and made survivors get less distance after a hit.

No, spine chill users don't want to be chased, they avoid chases entire match, so why should they then get a vault speed increase when you finally catch them?
Devs did good with that.
Dude what? There's literally a build around using Spine Chill in chase. Perk is useless now.

...You won't need as many bloodpoints to get your addons if you're not scouring the bloodwebs for the perks that you want, though?
The blood webs are no less expensive. They just killed the best way to get through them faster. What a ######### disaster.
-
Unfortunately I found it. I was happier before I read it. Thanks for the reply though.
-
If my math was right it's 49.5%. Literally less then current solo Self Care.

small(?) tweaks like "shrunk down a bit" never happened in this game afaik.
That wouldn't be a small tweak. Shrinking them down would be a fair amount of work.

So almost impossible, I got it.
Not really. Most maps just need shrunk down a bit.
-
It will change nothing. The people who are good loopers don't need it. They'll play slightly safer. That's it.

Survivors already complaining and Dead Hard nerf isn't even announced.
Imagine the forum in a few weeks if they nerf DH to the ground. Oh lord, will take some vacation from the forum for sure.
Just like killers did when Ruin was "nerfed". The forums went into absolute meltdown mode. The amount of complaint threads were truly amazing.
-
Because events are always miserable sweat feasts. Nothing new.

@Clockwork_Enigma said:
It makes legitimately no sense. Overzealous is a perk that just released and hasn't even done enough numbers to justify a change, yet you're also not changing Prove Thyself in any capacity despite it clearly showing it's a problem for the game.
Why? Why would you do this?
No it isn't. The narrative that it's some busted perk is getting really old.

I'll never get tired of watching people argue against something that would directly benefit them (e.g. more BP) because there might be someone, somewhere, who gets something they don't deserve as much as we do
Hey I'm all for increased BP across the board.

And/or playing a killer that has undertuned BP gains. Like Plague.
True, but considering how strong she is realistically you should still make decent bp. Granted she needs a look at her bp gains.

As harsh as it is, this
Even in my worst games as killer, I generally am near or at times above what survivors do. So many survivor things (namely Altruism and Boldness) are so dependent on the killer doing things to the survivors that it is damn difficult to score less than a survivor without an absolute S show of a game.
There absolutely should still be a discussion about BP in this game (neither side gets enough BP considering the damn grind of this game) but something is going very wrong in your games if you as the killer are consistently getting less BP than a survivor.
I'm not even trying to be harsh. Getting BP as killer is just infinitely easier.
-
If you're scoring less as the killer it's means you're a pretty bad killer. You'll have the odd match where it happens, but it should never be consistent.

I don't find the games to be any different as a killer player. I just think it's an overreaction for people to deprive themselves of bonus bloodpoints just so other people don't get them. I don't know why they would care so much.
To each their own I guess.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Wait... people seriously withhold their cakes because they don't want other people to get bonus bp? Bitterness levels overloading
Are you new to these events? They're easily the worst games of the year. I won't play during them anymore. I sure as hell wouldn't burn a cake if I did.
-
So the game might be playable in July. Got it.
-
This would be different from every other killer player how?
-
@Satelit said:
Well what do you want them to bring? The majority of survivor perks are bad.
There are alot of decent perks. The problem is the game has become such a massive sweat feast that people can't afford to run them.
-
Oh good, another long winded explanation from a "I play both sides" player as to why "insert x" is valid. I think it's about time for another break from the forums.

I play more M1 killers now, because - when it works correctly, I'm going to be facing a different quality of survivor on my Pig compared to my Hag.
Previously, killers all had the same matchmaking, so my terrible Myers is facing the same survivors as my best high tier killers.
A thousand plus. Not sure the exact number.
-
Because it's worse? At least for me, and probably for everyone complaining about it.
As survivor I could sit in Purple ranks and have pretty good matches. No need to sweat and the games were overall fun. My teammates were usually okay. Usually around my skill level a bit higher or lower.
As killer I usually got survivors that were decent. Not amazing. Not trash tier. It was a case where the games were usually enjoyable.
Under MMR this has not been the case. It's why I barely play anymore. As killer I get teams I have no business facing. As survivor I usually get teammates that have no idea what to do. They can't hit skill checks, let along seem able to finish a gen. Add to this nearly every killer proxy camps and hard tunnels at least the first person out and it's an exercise in misery.
-
Kindred.

@Carth said:
Nothing wrong with in a vaccum, however when you consider that most survivor players hate tunneling and have been asking BHVR for solutions you very quickly run into problems. As an experiment I challenge you to play where you spread hook states evenly, this means you cannot kill a survivor until ALL survivor are on death hook. I promise you you will very quickly discover two things, DS/BT/Body block world effectively defangs the killer entirely during EGC, the only 'counter' to the above is to limit the total # of survivors in play which loops us back around to "How should killers and survivors expect the game to play throughout the trial?" Should survivors expect to get eliminated out of the game quickly? Should hook states be more of a team wide resource? Does "fairness" even matter? I would argue it does based on how many complaints there are on tunneling but I 100% guarantee you if BHVR fixes that aspect of the game but does not touch EGC you will see a huge amount of complaints around DS + BT + Bodyblocking during EGC.
The problem with that experiment is you're taking it to the extreme. No rational survivor expects that. They just want a chance to reset before being chased again. If I'm hook 1, 4, and 6 I'm not going to feel I was tunneled. I had a chance to reset and happened to be found more than the others.
-
######### did I just read? Let me see if I got this. You want to make a ridiculous anime cosmetic for a deformed killer turkey?

You don’t have to equip them yourself.
they are part of the customization for players in this game and people like to equip them to show others what they have/like/support/whatever. They are easy enough to ignore if you don’t care for them (I think I have never actively noticed any charm on any other surv but my own…)
I dislike them due to the immersion breaking aspect. I'm not saying they shouldn't be an option, being able to toggling them off would be a nice option though.

I can't think of a more destructive message to the concept of pride than introducing a selective toggle that enables users to individually hide pride-themed cosmetics from their client.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2989342#Comment_2989342
My buddy and I settled on Friendwich.
How is it destructive? Personally I think all charms are dumb and wish I could toggle them off as they look silly to me.

Why though? She's terrible.

No, because if we remove ranks and blood points, nothing prevents survivors from abandoning their allies to get out for sure.
Nothing stops them now. Especially in OP's scenario. The better play for rank and points is to leave.

Survivor is literally team based.
No, it can be team based. People can play selfish all they want. This got worse when the devs decided to have escapes be the win con for survivor.
-
Dredge looks like a deformed turkey. Not much they could do to make that scary.

Myers is a killing machine.
He is rank S, but the constraints he has mean that he is forced to go to rank C/D.
Imagine if Myers were like this:
Base Speed: 4.6
Phase 1: insidious status.
Phase 2: Exposure of all survivors.
Tons of survivors would start crying.
Because that would be pretty ridiculous.

They'll probably just be removed. Can't wait for all the sweatlords to spam use ebonies every game. Fun times lol
Tbf if they removed them with no compensation I can see why people would be annoyed.

His power is obnoxious. I find his chase music grating. His creepy af, and not in a scary way. I can't stand his stupid laugh. Basically I despise everything about his character.
-
Ah, more of the never ending cycle of crying about perks, maps, and the other side in general. So reassuring that some things don't change.
-
Because you play too much survivor. At least that's been my assumption since whichever side I play for a while I get the opposite side dailies.
-
I didn't play a single game. Mission accomplished.

It's the total number of points, so including those you earned with BBQ/WGLF and/or an offering.
I have another question. You get 1,000 shards and 300,000k bp for completing all seven surveys not per survey right? As in you don't get 7,000k shards and 2.1 million bp for completing all 7?

They should be downed, yes. The locker trick is just an exploiting the bad design of the perk.
Well your tunneling being punished won't get alot of sympathy from me.
-
@Souplet said:
I get upset when you rub your ass on my face to show me you have ds, bodyblock me or go in a locker to trigger it, yes
Its an anti tunnel perk, not a "im invincible, chase me baby killer". When people do this, i gladly tunnel them since thats they want
Otherwise, im fine and usually respect it when you run away
Are you seriously complaining they jump into a locker? Should they just politely stand there for you to down them?
-
Why are so many killers salty unless they 4k? Some people just suck unfortunately.
-
Just turn it off.

prestige is not an obligation, you are not forced to prestige, if you don't want to do it you can not do it. i have P3 Steve, Cheryl and Pyramid Head and i dont think i will p3 others due to excessive grind. however I reassure you, prestige in the future will be less horrible from what I understand and from what they have explained.
Unless I've misunderstood something you'll have to if you want new perks for your characters once the change roles out.
-
It does seem kinda pointless on their part. Why is it so much to ask for an informed decision when it comes to P3ing?

I honestly didn't realize there was an event happening. I've been on a break from playing. I was thinking of coming back. Guess I'll wait. Thanks for the heads up.
