He's adorable
Gonna make this one a mainstay on my hooks. Does it have a name?
Thank you for making this charm optional.
Is this an original design or is this based on an existing pride-type design?
For a charm this looks really good.
It's not time-limited either
Every Charm is optional.
Thats great! They should be. I think they should be optional within the matches too if players don't want to see them. But by all means for those that want to can.
Why though
why tho.
You could also just see it as a very colourful bird.
It could also be a lady, or non-binary. I defaulted to he.
I'm inclined to go with Vivian. Apparently it's a gender-neutral name and it's very vivid, if you'll excuse the pun.
Why not? What would it hurt you or anyone if there was an option in the game for the player to disable charm visibility within the match just for that person? It wouldn't effect anyone but them and everyone who wants to see them can. Seems fair to me.
That's a whole lot of effort to implement for something that shouldn't bother you at all.
I can't think of a more destructive message to the concept of pride than introducing a selective toggle that enables users to individually hide pride-themed cosmetics from their client.
My buddy and I settled on Friendwich.
BLUEBIRDBEEG is another code for 100k points
I really don't think it would be that much of a challenge honestly. I mean I don't know much about game design but this seems like it wouldn't be that hard to do to implement an option for individuals to disable charm visibility in the match for them. And why shouldn't it bother me if you don't mind me asking? Not everyone who plays DBD is the same you know.
Actually my idea was to give an option to disable the visibility of all charms, not just the pride ones. I think if players don't want to see them they should have this option. Why would you care if any individual had the option to disable charm visibility? You would be able to see them if you want to.
Wish I could disable the visibility of your tedious whining.
Because, my friend, neither of us are islands. You and I are cut from the same organic cloth swirling around in this incomprehensible cosmos that we have the miraculous coincidence of simultaneously inhabiting. Where the fearful temptation is to close the windows and doors all around us, draw shut the blinds, and be illuminated only by that humble fire that casts flickering light upon our cavern walls, we ultimately have a mutual responsibility to each other and to all those around us who also just so happen to be attempting to reconcile our various existences with the mad arithmetic of reality.
Which is to say, in a word, that empowering individuals to curate their experience to specifically cut out evidence of the existence of others in a bid for a selfish comfort around the isolated flame is probably unhealthy from a social standpoint.

Well you do have the option to not read my replies, or respond to them, but you chose to do that anyway.
Or I mean
You can just not look at the charms and play the game.
That's also an option. We'll go with what you said though
Surely you see the optics of asking for this feature on a thread about a cool pride-related charm. Like, even if you're asking in good faith, you see how this appears, right?
have you considered being quiet
I suppose I could just not read words that are on my screen and you could also not look at colourful things that are on yours.
Oh I know they exists. I exist too. And my suggestion wasn't to cut out evidence of the existence of others. My suggestion was to make it optional so the inclusion of all can continue in peace. The pride charms caused division in this community and its disheartening to see.
I'm too outspoken and opinionated to do that.
A new friend for Mr Puddles Jr?
yeah that much is obvious
In all fairness coming to the forums and reading posts people make is easier to avoid than wanting to play a horror game where nearly every match you play has pride charms on all the hooks and survivors.
Absolute S-tier charm.
That is true and we are so happy that it is optional. It's just... I think it should be optional for other people to just not see your comments, you know.
After all, what would it hurt you or anyone if there was an option on the forums for the forum user to disable comment visibility on the forums just for that person?
And why is this a problem, exactly? Like you're getting very, very close to revealing your true colours here so be careful.
Lord have mercy, the rainbow charms have @KateMain86 speaking in tongues
Yeah a horror game where the scary cast of characters has additions such as:
A clown who sounds like he's slowly dying and also wears chicken and elephant costumes
A k-pop guy with no shirt who giggles like he's getting ready for prom in every chase
A bunch of edgy teenagers who sometimes wear rabbit costumes
An angry cowboy man who shoots you with a spear gun
But you draw the line at seeing 2 little rainbow png images near a hook or on a persons side
Well, this thread is gonna get closed soon, isn't it.
why cant we just have nice things and leave it at that

Then make your own thread about this suggestion, you're weird for saying this under a post about a pride charm.
As much as I'd like to help you organize your thoughts further, I've run out of my own. Instead, I'll offer a perhaps amateurish reference to John Gardner's Grendel -
"Feel the wall: is it not hard? Hard, yes! Observe the hardness, write it down in careful runes. Now sing of walls! Sing!"
I don’t think anyone cares about your input.
What does my suggestion of optional charm visibility take from you or anyone? That is the whole point of optional. I have no option to not see pride charms in nearly every match I play. The only option I have is to not play the game and I don't want to do that because I love this game. People of faith play this game, as well as many diverse walks of life. I think the option to disable charm visibility would be inclusive for those who don't want to see them and it takes nothing away from you.
Ah ah ah, not so fast buddy:
Your original statement was about making a pride charm optional. Not making all charms optional to view, and CERTAINLY not "so the inclusion of all can continue in peace."
In fact, all charms are optional, as in you don't have to ever put them on your characters or hooks. Viewing charms is NOT optional, as it's left up to whoever you're in a match with. But you already knew all this. You singled in on "making this charm optional"
You aren't fooling anyone - not even yourself.
You're absolutely right. My apologies.
Now once again ask yourself this, and ask yourself this very slowly: Why does seeing the pride charm(s) upset you so much?
And if you bring up the fact that your faith goes against it and thus makes you and others like you intolerant to it, well- we've known that all along but it'd be great to have official confirmation.
But the idea of your character being endlessly sacrificed on hooks covered in rainbow charms is such a joyful image. And if your survivor gameplay is as bad as your opinions then I'm sure it's a very, very regular occurrence.
Had the same thought; little Puddles has been happily paired with Caw and they look amazing together.😎
It takes away the chance of reporting people who complain about the charm in a very rude way. I have had Killers openly telling me that they tunneled me due to my Pride-Charm and Survivors saying that it is a disgrace to get hooked on Hooks with the Charm.
I happily report those. And making Charms optional would take this away from me.
@KateMain86 does this scare you, quickly !!

I just noticed
David's wearing (fake) Timbs in this cosmetic LOL
they're fake to avoid the straight allegations obviously
Great another birdie for the Artist
