That you think we are teammates. We are not. We are survivors. The reason we should help each other is because the longer an individual survivor is alive the greater the chance the entire group will escape. I'll save you from a hook because it increases my chance of surviving. I'm not saving you from the hook because I have some bond with you as a teammate. I will happily let you bleed out on the floor or die on first hook if I have a greater chance of survival after you are dead.
-
Yea I noticed this too. You see the fur sometimes when you swing, it's a lot more noticeable if you use M&A or Shadowborn.
-
Before the most recent update, I tested CP + SB + TP 1 stack and it took a full minute to Self Care (59 seconds actually). With DL and 4 stacks of TP (and new healing) it would probably take something like 80 seconds to heal yourself fully.

Putting someone down = CHEATER
LOL -
Billy/LF can't hit you with chainsaw from 40m away though. Hatchets on the other hand...
-
Spine Chill. Premonition. Don't just randomly run everywhere. If you are injured and in a chase and don't hear a heartbeat or woosh then just assume you are being followed.
It's powerful, I'd say it should be pink instead of the glasses, but it's not unbeatable.

Then when you just barely open the door and the killer comes up and just blocks you in anyway for a free kill.
Nah.

^ Title pretty much says it all. All I'm seeing is Noed, noed, noed, Eboni Mori, mori, mori, insta hatchets, 3 or 4 blink nurses, Haunted grounds, Bloodwarden, Silentbells & so on & so on. So boring. Not trying to be "that" guy here but when I get on to Dead By Daylight as a Killer attempting to get the event done all I see are toxic survivors. SWF P3 Claudette's running Flashlights, Toolboxes and they all have DS and adrenaline. Also to add insult to injury when I do get one and I'm trying to get them to the event hook either someone sabotaged it and broke it in front of my face or someone comes to flashlight save.
Remember we want vials too man and if you wonder why some guys runs a mori it's because of this I have over 50 mori's stacked on my Nurse and Pig and I only get it out when I see that SWF Claudette team because I hate it when they come to give me a hard time and just t-bag me either at the exit gate or just threw out the match. Now all we can do is put up with it and git gud.
Because God forbid a survivor try to save another. Must be a F tier killer if you still complain about FL.

I play both sides, and if all you do is tunnel/camp as killer you are trash sorry. Good killers don't resort to cheese tactics like that unless they are pushed to do it. I can consistently 4k without tunneling or camping because I'm not a jackass that just chases one person all game.Catching 1 person and then camping/tunneling them to death is super easy mode as killer. IDC what you say, it's the cheap and easy way to play killer. Justify it how you want, if that's all you do you are a ######### killer.
That said a lot of survivors have a very skewed perspective of what actual an actual tunnel/camp is. You can tell when a killer does it because they have to and when they do it because they want to.
If you are tunneling and Camping you are bad because you will get 1k. MAYBE a 2k once in a while.
If I get 4k off tunneling and camping....well....it's the survivors who are pretty darn bad....because there is no way a killer should ever manage to get 4ks from tunneling one at a time lol!
Yea except that survivors MUST come save the guy or lose benevolence. If they let that first guy die on the hook chances are they won't pip. So then of course people will come to save, at least one, at which point if it's early enough in the game and you have 1 on a hook and 1 slugged, the best survivors can hope for is hatch. Before emblems you can entirely blame a loss to a camp/tunnel killer on bad choices, but with emblems they are forced to make the save. The only other option is to gen rush to escape without going down, but then you gotta hope you get enough Evader to pip.
It's cheese, flat out, and you are a ######### scrub killer if that's the ONLY thing you ever do. And because of emblems you will pip more often than not because survivors are forced to save.

Survivor. Just rush 3 plants and get killed. As killer you are stuck in the game until it ends, so it's way slower. Plus killer lobbies take a long time right now for some people.

Flashlights, Boil Over, Decisive Strikes, body-blocking, Deliverance.Survivors are just as bad.
Deliverance really isn't all that great. Sure you can save yourself in certain times but most of the time I see people just do it without thinking then die 20 seconds later.
-
It means IDGAF biotch.
-
It was both times.

TBH there shouldn't be more than 1 per bloodweb, and it should be placed in a way that you can avoid it if you don't want it. I have like 40 of the damn things on my Kate.
-
So they outplay you and you hard camp them? LOL
-
TBH you don't need NOED for this. BW by itself can sway a game. Being trapped in there with a Billy or Huntress is scary.
-
Coulro is already really good on Doc for anti-heals, it'd be broken if it worked on snap out of it because it would just take forever. You'd never lose madness, especially because if he runs Coulro he is running Distressing and probably calm add-ons.
-
I came across this YT'er today that clearly was a killer main. He got super salty when he got pallet slammed while picking someone up without even checking the area. Then a Claud tbag'ed him like twice at a safe pallet when he broke it (with Brutal BTW) and he got salty. Then when Claud was on her last hook a Nea tried to body block but the hook was really close and stuff and he's all mad about that too. Like he doesn't realize you get points for taking a hit when someone is being carried and might as well if that person is on death hook. It was a bad choice still from Nea but there are reasons. He got salty because they were just doing survivor things.
This is what killer mains don't get. These guys are just playing the game. It's not always toxic.
-
Don't use BBQ to rely on finding survivors. It's more useful when you use it to keep tabs on what they are doing and focus on stopping them from doing important stuff like finding your totem, finishing a gen, or grouping up.
-
Where you the Ace I literally chased all game with Remember Me then killed with Rancor, then slugged and 1 hooked his entire team with NOED? I understand you being mad, but you were just dealt a bad hand that game. Next time you can be one of the lucky slugs!
-
If we get anything Halloween 2018 related, it will be most likely "old" Myers and "old" Lori. Maybe some sort of remix of Haddonfield if we are really lucky.

On Xbox most of my friends have moved on to black ops. Has nothing to do with the event and everything to do with CoD, and soon to be RDR2.
-
Yes free points and protects from NOED. Also they are low risk because killers generally don't even see you on a totem.
-
OP is a true garbage person.
-
Stridor does trump IW, I've tried in KYF. With IW3 you make absolutely no cries, but if the killer has Stridor they can hear you cry from about 6m or so. It's very feint, something like IW1, but Stridor 3 beats IW3.
-
I've been a Rancor survivor three or so times and have always escaped. I've also used Rancor several times as killer and not got the guy. If you play super immersed all game you can do it. Just leave when the gate opens ASAP.
-
I don't have tier 3 yet on everything, I plan to p3 Spirit next (just p3'd Kate) but my build is Stridor, Make Your Choice, Sloppy Butcher/Ruin, and BBQ. IMO, Stridor is an absolute necessity on Spirit. It helps so much during phase walk. If the survivor doesn't have IW then they can't escape your phase walk. It also helps me to hear gasps and stuff of healthy survivors, so there's that. And because Spirit is a slow killer she is weak to IW like all slow killers, but Stridor counters IW. SB works well with Stridor because they are just injured longer, plus more blood, so they are easier to track. I've been using Ruin, and I like SB before the recent update but now that they nerfed heals SB might permanently replace Ruin and not just be for lower ranks anymore. MYC is good for Spirit like it is for Hag and Nurse because they can all return to the hook really fast. At her base phase walk, she can cover the 32 range in 4.5s, 0.5s shy of her base phase walk duration. This means as long as you don't phase walk away from hooks you can come back and usually get a free hook because they will be healing (and with SB you have more time to react to an unhook). I also find that it's good to slow the game, because even if the MYC guy runs and you don't find them they will play immersed for a short time at the very least. And BBQ because it's the best aura perk for killer, though I'd swap in Bitter Murmur now and then to mix it up (also if I plan to play a map like Game, it's too small for BBQ).
I also want to experiment with Insidious on her, since you do a lot of tricks where you stop moving and stand still. I tested some things in KYF and found that you can get Insidious and then phase walk without breaking it. In fact, the husk gains Insidious while you phase walk so you can pull some nasty tricks with this, especially if you combo it with prayer beads for silent phase walking too. Insidious breaks the moment you come out of phase walk though, even if you stand still, but I think there is potential here.

Dud rank 1 Trappers are scary. They put traps in the most devious places. And the whole game can shift if just 1 person steps in a trap at the right time.
-
@NiceToMeetYou said:
lmao, WHY is hag GOOD? #########? She SUCKS.
Everybody says she has good map control with her traps. However, this is so not true. Survivors can easily stealth past these if they're looking for them and they will be if they're decent, they can be destroyed by flashlights which are probably the most used item in the high ranks and even if they are triggered the survivors get a MASSIVE notification that they have been and this gives them enough time to sprint burst away. Agreed if the survivors suck she can generally get a free hit on them or if she has shackles, but neither are very common. Her traps are also very useful for distracting her: run towards her trapped hex totem during a chase or while somebody is going for a save and the killer will go for the totem 9/10 times.Because the moment a chase starts she can immediately catch up to you when you hit a trap. She can also break loops by placing a trap. The only other killers that can BREAK a loop are Nurse and Clown, with killers like Huntress/Pig/Spirit having ways to beat loops (but not break them). And if she has Mint Rag she can teleport anywhere she wants, which is why its one of the top add-ons in the game, maybe THE top one.
The only way to really do well against the Hag is to have UE, which most survivors run but it only reduces her map pressure slightly. She can still force you to hit a trap by returning to the hook or gen fast enough, and again once she starts the chase you will hit traps.

No please don't change Freddy to be something completely different. He just needs tweaks to his kit to make him better and less frustrating to deal with on survivor end. Transition should block you from doing everything except vault/pallet drop and MAYBE unhooking, skill checks should be inverted in DW so that the fail and success zones are swapped (removing the 'mash button' thing to wake up and and instead you have to aim to hit a failed skill check). DW should be less dark and foggy, the outer 4m of lullaby should be directional so if you pay attention to it you know what direction he came from, and he should flash very VERY seldomly in the real world after you get put to sleep the first time (Pill Bottle removes this entirely). He doesn't need as much as people say.I disagree with this because his power doesn't seem like Freddy. as many have said it feels more like a Sandman than anything. at least with imaginary things in the match it would match what Freddy's powers actually are in the movies and That is the killer I want. not what is currently presented to us. plus How fun would it be for survivors to run around and be dooped by fake stuff. I think that is awesome!
Play Doc if that's what you want then. Freddy has quirks about him but that's the part that makes him fun. I just want it to be harder to wake up and less BS where survivors continue doing something in your face when you hit them with sleep. I'm cool with letting aura perks read him to make it less sucky for survivors (except Rancor, that should only reveal his aura in DW).

I literally have these 4 perks for my Dwight: borrowed time, self care, leader, and sprint burst. People call some of these perks 'toxic' and I'm not even sure why they do. It's part of the game. What isn't part of the game is bad sportsmanship, or calling someone names, literally taking your time to message the other person all cause they killed you in-game (just to harass them). That's toxic.Borrowed time is really annoying to play against.
You just hooked your victim and applied some pressure, suddenly there jumps a bald dwight to the hook and simply unhooks in front of your face. I think "######### are you stupid, I am here next to you?", I hit the injured guy and realize its BT. I will chase down the BT guy you farmed and hooked him again.
The next time I see you, yuo will die. I dont like playing vs BT, so I remove it from the game
Call that toxic or however you want, I call it adapting to the survivors strategies/loadout.
same applies to DS btwIf you chase the BT guy you are wasting your time. If you hit them and they have BT go for the other guy because that dude needs to heal. You can get 1 on a hook, 1 healing (or slugged), which leaves at most 2 on gens, but if the BT guy goes down and you have a hook that's a LOT of map pressure. I see killers go for the BT guy all the time and it's a huge mistake, because if you do that just tells all the others to rush gens. The 2 that would have potentially got off gens to make saves/heals just keep doing gens, and the guy that just saved will realize you tunnel and will rush a gen. By the time you catch that guy, 2 gens will pop, then he will sit on a hook and 2 more gens will pop, then he will get saved with BT again and they all body block him out of the gate. If someone gets BT most of the time you should just let them run away and go for the other guy because that's 2 that aren't doing something vs. 1 not doing something.

See SB is really easy to use but is in fact much weaker then balanced landing which opens up so many more loops as the perk passively negates the stun on falls. Dead hard can be used to reach a pallet and remove a killers blood lust if there aren't that many safe pallets left.Yes BL is beast. I've been using it on Kate since I began to prestige her and now it's like I can't play without it LOL. I also found that if you run Hope 1 even with BL, some drop points become infinites against some killers. It also options up some other options on some maps, like dropping down to immediately take a window or something. The only problem with BL are maps like Shelter Woods which have no high points to drop from.
DH is overrated IMO. It can help you reach a pallet or window, or dodge a hit, but if the killer KNOWS you have it then it won't work. That perk relies entirely on the killer falling for it. When they don't you just waste it, and it doesn't help you actually escape a chase like Lithe or BL can.
-
Or run IW, Adren, and Resil. Healing is a waste of time now.
Or run whatever you want and gang up on heals. With 2 people, doesn't matter what the killer uses you will still heal them in less than 10 seconds. 4 more like it.

S+
NurseS
Billy
HagA
Huntress
SpiritB
Clown
Pig
MyersC
Trapper
Doc
Wraith
LFF
FreddyNurse still breaks the game. Billy is still second best, but after her rework Hag is now a close third. All these killers have good map pressure and are good in a chase, and they are probably the only killers with potential to 4k most SWF groups. Hag and Nurse break loops, and Billy is just a solid chaser being of normal movement speed and having a built in Brutal Strength with chainsaw. Huntress and Spirit are next and very close. I think Spirit is ultimately better but Huntress is more straightforward making her better overall. To be that good with Spirit you need some next level god tier mind games, with Huntress you just need good aim.
Clown and Pig are tied for next position I think. Clown is probably just the best chaser in the game after Nurse because he can break loops and gain distance between loops. Pig has the most potential to slow the game with RBT if you space the properly, and she has ambush which is both a useful surprise tactic and good to use at loops but she can't break them like top tier killers can. Myers is next, because he has a lot of tools in his kit (and a variety of add-on effects). He has stealth and a one shot. He can be really strong in some cases.
Trapper is top of next tier. He can be really strong if you land just 1 or 2 good traps, but it all depends on the survivors. If they are really smart then you never get a trap and he sucks. But land 1 trap near the shack basement and you can win the game in a few minutes. Someone described him as "feast or famine" character and I would agree to that. Next is Doc, who is the best tracker in the game and IMO the most annoying killer to play against because who TF wants to do MORE of what sucks in this game (skill checks). I digress, Doc has ways to beat loops (not break them) and tracking, with a fair amount of map pressure just from the madness effects making things more difficult for bad survivors, but only more annoying for good survivors. Wraith is a lot better now than he was. He's still low tier killer, but he has a lot more tools to use. I see a lot more Wraiths trying to beat me to a pallet or window to body block and his add-ons give him a lot more variety to his options. Still doesn't have anything but good chase potential going for him. LF is the last of this tier, second from bottom. He has the best defense in the game, but that's about it. You catch someone with LF and camp no one will save. But that's about all he is good for.
Freddy is the bottom of the barrel, yes, but he has a lot of potential in him. He just needs some QOL buffs, stuff I've said before: transition blocks most survivor actions, inverted skill checks in DW (to remove the button mashing to wake up thing), better vision in DW, and more ways to survivors to see Freddy (flashes in real world after first put to sleep, aura perks work on him even if you are awake, adjust lullaby to be semi-directional), etc.
-

I think I've been on the survivor end of this. At least 2 games as survivor the killer DC'd very early for no reason and it look like someone using a lag switch and messed up then it DC's.
-
I got 5 vials filled in like 6 games as survivor. If there are at least 3 event offerings, just rush the plants and fill your vial. EZ
-
Blindness can be really powerful because they can't see hooks or slugs. Third Seal for slugging is very strong, have you seen Monto's videos?
-
@Mc_Harty said:
You cannot harvest plants once you hit that max. Why should I use an offering that I can't even use? For you? That's funny.I P3'd Kate just as the event started. She's at like level 47 or something, I have like 40 of the event things and I'm 9/30 on vials for survivor. I'm gonna burn every one of these stupid things to get them out of my inventory.
-
I'm rank 6, purposely let a few groups escape to depip/farm. MM still takes a long time as killer (Xbox).
-
You can see your own husk, I bet that was one purpose so you can check out yo own bootay!
-
The only true OP thing a killer has is a pink mori. I've only had maybe 3 or 4 games ever where I used a pink mori and more than 2 people escaped.
-
If they didn't kill you until the end of the game and you farmed BP with them but getting chased, healing/unhooking, and doing gens then you will still walk out with like 20k BP. If anyone did a BPS or something...
Yesterday had a Hag daily, so I threw up a BPS. Turns out I was against a group, and they ALL threw up BPS. I'm not going to play that like a normal game, F THAT. I want BP, the David made a peace offering in the beginning by walking out into the open and teabagging, so I hooked him on an event hook and walked away. When he got saved I came back but made it obvious I wasn't going to hit him. Let them heal, then hit the other guy and took them to an event hook. Got 2 more hooks for BBQ. Farmed the rest of the game. TBH I could have probably got at least a 3k, 2 of the group were below rank 15, one was red and the other purple, but screw rank if I can get 202k BP! Also even though I let all of them go, I pipped anyway because they took a while to do gens because we farmed.
DBD EZ
-
Dud, just rush the plants to fill up the bar, farm some people off the hook with WGLF, and die to move on to the next game. So what, it's not a big deal if you want to get event stuff. Ranking up is EZ in this game on both sides.
-
LF or Doc. Both bring cancerous playstyles to the game and I have met very few of either that were cool players. Most are salty A holes.
-
They appear in the bloodweb. I just p3'd my Kate and I have like 10 of them now, and the medkits.
-
If someone makes a save just turn around and go back. It takes forever to heal now. I don't get why killers want to protect the hooked guy so much anyway. If they get unhooked and it's unsafe then you hit them down and put them on the hook. Sucks but if you punish it survivors will kill each other through altruism. Sitting there protecting the hook just gives the others time to do gens, so walk away if they save right away, come back and get the guy again. They will say you tunneled but if they didn't wait for you to find and chase someone else then they made a mistake not you.
If you don't want to be called a tunneller use BBQ to be sure no one is near, or use MYC so that you can go after the other guy when you come back to the hook.
-
Yes. Sucks because I wanna play Spirit right now.
