Spine Chill and Premonition are better detection perks IMO. Alert is okay, but you don't really need it.

trying to get your opponent flustered is literally BMing. What part of that don't you understand? Distraction is good, provocation is not. You don't just wash the latter away with two letters. So if I have a FL and click-click at you because it clearly annoys you as a means to keep you distracted it's automatically BMing because you are annoyed at something dumb and I took advantage of it? And then afterwards I can't say GG and be sincere? You would never survive in competitive gaming dude. I've seen people who are the nicest guys in the world become complete ######### during a game JUST to get under their opponents skin. But after the game is over they all shake hands and say GG and let it slide because it's part of the game. Man the ######### up, stop being a baby. Holding a grudge because someone did something that could be construed as toxic during a game is what's actually toxic about the situation.

@thesuicidefoxStrategising in games of such a complexity as Gears of War or League of Legends, DOTA or any of the bunch do indeed have a multitude of potions through which they can secure their objective.
They have a lot of variables to consider. But for every 100 options you have in League, you probably only have 1 in DBD.
In league, to get closer to the nexus, you need to destroy towers, but for that you need to win lane and winning lane is where the complexion kicks in.
It isn't as complicated to see how you would push the turret in DBD (the generator); M1.
and perhaps add 1 if statement to it:If(killerIsChasingMe == true){
LoopKiller();}This is why there's a reasonal disparity between Gears of War and DBD when it comes to pre-established communication. With the strategic simplicity of DBD, you will not suffer from it noticeably.
LOL 1 option are you serious? Nah, you have several at any given point, and you have no guarantee that another player is thinking the same as you. You might have the option to make a save or finish a gen, it's not always clear cut which you should do, and that fact of the matter is either option is valid. But then if you say beforehand "do gens don't save" well that just removes all other possible options.
If you really think the game is that 1 dimensional then you are delusional.

What I really hate as killer are DC'ers. Namely the ones that DC if you catch them first. It basically gives you the win and the game becomes less fun.
-
@Ryuhi Are you trying to say I'm a hypocrite? I mean you're the one sitting here assuming that someone is BMing you by saying GG and doing whatever in a game. There is such a thing as trying to get your opponent flustered, you can still be a good sport at the end of the game though.

Please no. I didn't sign up for that type of horror game.

@thesuicidefoxYou also have access to it and so do I, and it's basically the strongest thing to do. That is why it works in League of Legends as well, or any other strategy game. At a higher level (or rank) you know what to do. All communication is in some shape or form pre-established.
These are called expectations, and we have a lot of them.
You are conflating probability with certainty. A player that understands the game as you do is more likely to make decisions you expect. Players that establish tactics beforehand are guaranteed to make a decision you expect. There is a massive difference.
I don't play LOL I play Gears of War. Any high level player KNOWS to make plays for Boomshot when it's on the map, because Boomshot is the most powerful (borderline auto-win) weapon in the game. I'm a diamond level player, the highest rank in the game. Put me on a team with 4 other diamonds and I assure you we will all push Boomshot as a team. However without pre-established tactics or comms I have no idea exactly how my team will plan to go about it. Some players might just straight fly at Boom with smokes and Gnash and just swarm the other team out to make the pick up. Some players might take a tactical position with Lancer and cross any enemy that attempts to pick up Boom. Some players might actually go for another weapon knowing the other team won't contest, then use that weapon to secure Boom. There are like 1000 possibilities of how that can go down, and if I don't communicate with my team I have no clue what they plan to do. But then you look at a pro team that practices very specific strats and positioning, they KNOW exactly where their teammates will be, and when they will be there. They don't need to communicate. If I know I have 2 friendly Lancers overlooking Boom I can make a play for the pick up because I have backup. But if I'm with randoms, even diamond level randoms, I don't have that assurance. Even if I see 2 guys there in cover with Lancers I can't be 100% sure they will cover me as I expect. There is a chance I could run in for the pick up and they decide to reposition, leaving me exposed to enemy fire. I don't need to worry about that if we established before the round that guy 1 will be here and guy 2 will be here and both will STAY there to cover me until Boom is secure, THEN they reposition.

I'm actually a survivor main, so I know when its good strategy and BMing. Ironically, the main reason I barely play killer is because of the attitudes of your average survivor, it makes the game unbearable, and is a very large part of why a lot of killers are so vocal about their grievances on this board. Your last sentence heavily implies you haven't gotten stuck in games as killer with survivors BMing you, so why do you feel the need to weigh in?I have, but I'm not going to get salty at every instance of body blocking or teabagging because of 1 ######### from 10 games ago.

@thesuicidefoxThey also had some pre-established communication
I have that same pre-established communication, and everybody that has a brain has that pre-established communication.
Similar to how people would know to got botlane with an ADC and a Support In LoL. That form of pre-established communication is available for everybody. Any form of pre-established communication is actually.
No I mean they had very specific tactics in mind for certain situations. For example, if they rush gens and get the gates open, they just leave and don't even attempt to save the 1 guy on the hook, even if it was their first hook. They also didn't bother with totems, they just plow through Ruin. They also planned to split the maps every time, and did gens in the middle of the map. While solo players could do all this stuff you have no way to know what the others are going to do. You hope they make the smart choice but you have no control over it, and you always need to have a back up plan in case they make the wrong choice. But when you say before the game "hey don't save each other if the gates are open" that's pre-establish communication solo players don't have. You know the choices others will make so you don't have to guess what you should be doing.

People above have Devour and Haunted Grounds, IMO that's just a gimmick. Most of the time I play against a Spirit (or any killer using the Hex build) more often than not moments after HG procs, Devour goes down. I feel like against good survivors it just doesn't work because they will rush your totems anyway and hide until Exposed is gone. You're only going to get value from Hex builds on Lery's or Game.
This +1
I play her regularly as my main at rank 1 and decimate. BBQ+MYC is godly on her and Stridor is so good since it's all about the sound. Last choice is just up to you for your slow down perk. I bounce between Sloppy or Ruin, personally I like the early Ruin slow down more I think, but it's preference. That is her best set up and I feel pretty strongly on that. A lot of those other perks are just like fox said, "gimmicky".
Yea I usually only bring Ruin if I see toolboxes because I honestly hate defending totems and I hate that I can basically lose a perk. Plus Ruin is actually worthless against good survivors since they will either find it within the first 30 seconds (since they know where totems spawn) or just do great skill checks. I know that's what I do, Ruin doesn't even phase me anymore unless I get frame rate issues and can't hit skill checks. Most survivors aren't that good though, so it's still the best option against the normal survivor.
Sloppy + MYC is a good combo because the moment the guy makes a save if he sees a red action bar he knows it's Sloppy, and chances are they will just give up on the heal, forcing the guy to stay injured for longer. Come back to a hook after a save and you can basically take either one down in one hit.

Killers have been buffed significantly since then. They also exclusively rushed gens and ran out the gate, leaving others to die if they were hooked. That's a depip in the current ranking system. They also had some pre-established communication (do gens, don't make saves, etc.) which solos wouldn't have. So yea, it's pretty balanced CURRENTLY for solo players. Stop pointing to that BS like it means something. It's a year old and irrelevant at this point.

Time to use your logic against you: "If you think things like FL, teabag, gen tap in your face, aren't toxic, chances are you are the toxic one." there's a pretty big difference between distraction and provocation. The reason killers especially find it annoying is because they are stuck in that game until the last person either dies or leaves. When a killer does something bm to a survivor, its a lot easier to just die and move on to the next one. Killers don't get that luxury, so of course they're going to get more annoyed by repeated signs of disrespect. At the end of the day, the argument wouldnt even exist if people didn't act like douches to each other ingame, but here we are.
"Signs of disrespect" are in your head most of the time. More often than not survivors are just doing things survivors should be doing. Like how many killers get mad about body blocking hooks? You shouldn't, because if I block the hook and keep a guy alive that's good for me. If you hit me I get points for it too. Yet killers take this tactic as toxic.
If someone is trying really hard to annoy you for attention it doesn't automatically mean they are BMing you. It means they are trying to get you to chase them so others can do stuff. It's that simple. Killers make up most of this ######### in their heads and get salty about essentially nothing.

No that's what happens. Do the math. It's impossible for 3 survivors to do 5 gens and 5 totems in 2 minutes. Run Noed and Ruin. Camp every survivor you catch. You will pip without doing much work and survivors are forced to gen rush and run out ASAP or they die. If they don't gen rush and you catch a second survivor before the last gen is done, the other 2 will probably die. At least 1, hatch is still possible. Still you can do basically nothing and always 2k at minimum.

I won’t claim I know the source. But if you feel compelled to wish someone a good game, maybe type out more then the two letters. Even if it’s a universal form of communication in gaming, it will save hurt feelings if you type out a sentence to add context.
The intentions are good, but it’s also important to not do something that makes YOU feel good that’s optional if it may negatively effect others
It would depend on the context. My point is, if the OP's intention is to say GG, then they have to keep in mind that it will not always be perceived as they think it will. If their intention is to actually get their point across, they should use something else.
If you take GG as anything toxic chances are you are the toxic one. GG NO RE or GG EZ is a different story. Most people won't say GG if they are going to be toxic or disrespectful post-trial.
You can't prove someone was disrespecting you during a trial. If they FL, teabag, gen tap in your face, none of that means anything because there are legit reasons to do it. Save another survivor. Get the killer's attention. Keep a gen from regressing. The only possible legit sign of disrespect during the game is if they teabag while running out the gate. That's pretty much the only time you can point at them as say "you were toxic in the game" because there is no tactical reason to do this.
Like I can literally say this about anything. I say "fun game" you can take it as me being sincere or me being toxic. If I say NOTHING and just leave you can take it either way too. Just like you will probably take this post and think I'm attacking you or being toxic towards you. It's all in your head bro, maybe stop assuming other's intentions and just take stuff at face value. You will find yourself enjoying the online experience way more.

Dude, the game is very balanced for solo players. It's broken for SWF. You want to break what actually works to make it on par with SWF? THAT is absurd. What needs to happen is SWF needs limits imposed. Asking a group to strategize and come up with team builds isn't "conceptually unappealing" it's balance. If you want to play in a group you have to synergize your builds. You have to SHARE the good stuff so that you can't stack the best perks, and items, and the map, and the fog, in your favor (the latter 3 you still get BTW). Kind of like if you play pretty much any class based team game you want a balanced team. You don't want 5 Widows and a Hanzo.
What's "conceptually unappealing" is giving solo players too much information without them having to figure it out for themselves. You already get tons of cues of what's going on in the trial, we don't need more. Your whole concept of stealth is nonsense. If everyone is hiding, no gens are being done. That's all there is to it. If someone gets chased and you still hide then you are just a bad survivor. Again, it doesn't matter if someone is being chased or not, what matters is AM I BEING CHASED. If the answer is no then you should be doing gens, not hiding. If the killer comes over to you THEN you hide or run.

Cleanse the F'ing Totems! Seriously, there is no need to complain about NOED when you can completely render the perk useless through normal gameplay.DS is a 'get out of jail free' card, with rewards survivors and punishes killers
Use Ruin and NOED. Tunnel and camp the first survivor while the others do gens. It is impossible for 3 survivors to do 5 gens and 5 totems before the guy dies. When NOED procs find another one. One shot them and camp. You just pipped without doing a damn thing worth pipping. And the survivors have no options but to 1) gen rush or 2) attempt a save. Both cases you win. Stop saying to cleanse totems when it's mathematically impossible with 3 survivors. If the others go do totems they won't be doing gens, which means the killer will have a chance to catch and camp another person before end game. Basically if they DO NOT gen rush they all die.

Movement makes you much easier to see. You'd be amazed how often survivors get missed by just staying still in certain places, especially when the killer is looking around a lot. Thats not to say these pauses are always successful, but its a very effective way to avoid being seen at times (especially if the red stain is moving rapidly, aka the killer is checking multiple directions quickly.) Just think of it like hiding from a T-Rex
Your comments contradict a bit though... Why mention both hiding next to a running gen, and your $300 headset? Clearly the two would contradict in that scenario, since the generator is loud as balls. Its almost like strategies are situational and players need to be adaptive. 8-)
You can still hear footsteps and grass moving near a running gen. I meant running like not finished though, not running like finished. A finished gen is way louder than one that's even 99%. The "ears" comment was more to the fact that people like to Urban right next to you as if you won't hear them move (ie. stop walking through grass because it's loud).
And if you want to be stealthy learn how to break line of sight. As long as you keep an object between you and the killer you can move very freely without being seen. And obviously you want to keep some distance too, because then you can't be heard either.
Like I said unless you are p3 Claud or Jake I will see you hiding. A superior tactic would be to not let yourself be seen period by breaking LOS.
-
@ChesterTheMolester said:
Most of the time you'll be busy chasing someone when the last gen is repaired. And talking about SWF in particular, they can just 99% the gates while you are busy and open it once they unhooked.Yea but then they have to make it to the gate without going down. Again the only counter is to just not open the gate, if you leave the guy slugged and manage to slug another one it's GG for them. The last guy has to hide or open the gate and just run out. Now you got a 3k.
And if you are chasing someone when the last gen finishes that's kinda what you want. You can literally ignore the gates to continue a chase. Without BW if you see someone on the gate you are forced to break the chase and stop them, which often results in you losing them both. But with BW you can just let them open the gate and keep chasing. You don't even need to check if the gates are opened, BW will tell you. Just keep chasing that guy and make sure you down them then wait to see if they open the gate.

OMG survivors used DS and body blocked my hook, what else is new? It's not at all comparable to camp/tunnel/mori someone since they weren't planning to escape anyway. There really was only so much they could do to stop you from getting the hook. Run Iron Grasp and Agi (now also Mad Grit) and you shouldn't have a problem.
And really Boiled Over? If that perks gives you trouble as killer then IDK what else to say to you.

Having to sit for an extra 5/10 mins after I get camped out in a solo game because I want to see what the unknown perks, or what addons they ran were, because they're hidden to hide this "seal team six swf coordination" is a little....much.
I mean, if they hook someone and come right over, its bbq, if it's a red skill check, ruin. "Oh, but what about noed? Hmm?" Well, do what smart people do and just break the [BAD WORD] dull totems you see. Maybe hold off a gen and find one. At least one.
It would make people feel better about "not having them know" but there would still be JUST as much complaining about swf as ever. Because it's not about the load out as much as this "uber coordination squad" you all fear.
Bloodwarden.
Actually survivors can know you have Blood Warden and the only counter is to not open the gate if someone is downed, which still benefits you as killer. The other option is to open the gate and run out before the guy gets hooked, which would mean a 2k and likely a pip (since there is the first guy dead to tell them and the second guy you hooked just after the other 2 escape).
Basically you can use BW to threaten survivors to not open the gate. If you get it to proc they are locked in the trial for another 60 seconds, and they can't take it away like Ruin. If 1 is already dead, and 1 is hooked and you have a solid detection perk like Whispers or BBQ, they can know of Blood Warden and still die because they can't actually avoid it.

@MegMain98 I'm not saying hiding in a bush never works. I've done it before but I also don't rely on it as my go to tactic. I do it sparingly when I KNOW the killer likely won't see me. And the moment I think they did I bolt I don't wait for them to walk up and hit me to find out. The problem comes when you do it all the time and don't run when it's obvious the killer saw you. That's the stealth too many survivors rely on.

Context matters though. If there are still 5 gens and Ruin up and you already have a hook on EVERYONE you can afford to be merciful. The problem is, too many killers are so hungry for a 4k they won't show mercy at all, even when it's pretty clear they are going to 3k/4k regardless. If the survivors are actually doing gens and totems, then it's a different story, and yes you should punish that.
How often do you see the first scenario happen?
The reality -at least in mid to high rank matches- is Ruin gone, 2 (maybe 3) gens done, first victim on the hook, disrespectful player with flashlight in your face trying to do bad bait for his buddy, who's lunchbox sticks out behind a tree.I see it often enough for me to be considerate of other player's experience and not immediately start try-harding. Rank 1 survivors aren't all amazing you know. A lot of them actually suck.
Likewise I see games as survivor where the whole team just gen rushes like crazy and the killer barely gets a hook. I'll usually go out of my way to NOT gen rush unless I feel like I have to. I do my 1 gen solo for my Lightbringer, then focus on totems, saves, heals, chests, chases, whatever. When I run my No Mither FIght Club build I will just give myself to a killer that had a game like that at the end. I did a gen and had like 3 saves and 2 long ass chases. I'm going to pip live or die, so what.
Also just because someone uses a FL and makes attempts to save another survivor doesn't make them disrespectful. Wait until after the game ends to see if they disrespect you or not, don't just assume. I mean it is in their best interest to keep each other alive as long as possible, and they do get points for doing this stuff. Like I don't get how killers get mad when survivors body block. That's a free 10 points on Benevolence, and like 500 BP for altruism (not sure here). So hell yea if I can afford to take a hit I totally will, doesn't mean I'm being toxic though. I'm just doing what a survivor SHOULD do.
-
I was expecting: "When an SWF player dies, an angel gets it's wings" or something. Also that angel gets tunneled and camped, probably mori'd too.
-
Looks like Clown has been eating LF chilli again.
-
IMO you should be using Stridor over Nurse's anyway. It's a more skillful perk and survivors can't hide their moans unless they use Iron Will (which is still trumped by Stridor). You can easily hide your aura though by just... not healing near the killer. Plus now we have Distortion.

At worst you wasted 5 minutes to farm BP. Not a big deal for most people.

just because a survivor farms another off a hook in front of a killer, it doesn't mean the killer must capitalize on the event. unless of course, they are desperate.
Are you serious?
You think that's how a killer should play?
Just watch the survivor make bad plays and let them get away with it?
So the survivor show no "fear"(respect?) of the killer and rescue right beside him and he should show "mercy" and let the rescued go to take on the much harder chase?
WHY?
Just to make survivor happy?
And in the end he will get tbagged at the gate and get an "gg ez baby killer" in the after match chat??Context matters though.
This is how it was during the Halloween event. NO ONE did gens, everyone just rushed plants for the first week then let themselves die on hooks. Killers still brought pink mori's and tunnel/camped survivors really hard even though nothing was getting done. It was so sweet then to see all the boosted killers get their comeuppance the following week after everyone got their vials, and survivors gen rushed the crap out of every killer to make up for the previous week. You could easily tell killers that just sweated through event trials where the survivors basically gave them a 4k.
Point is, if it's a game where you NEED to sweat, fine. But if it's a game where it's pretty obvious no one will escape then you can easily give out some freebies for more BP and fun chases. Unless you actually find tunneling/camping fun to do, in which case carry on, but I can't fathom how anyone can find that fun to do as killer. I'd rather do my taxes with pencil and paper.
-
Pick Freddy if you want to do this. Not only will you depip, but so will survivors because they can't pip against you if you never sleep them. They can't get Evader for being near you, and they can't get Benevolence because you never injure/hook anyone. The only way someone can pip against you is if they do 3 whole gens by themselves, and only 1 player can pip while the other 3 will depip. Which will never happen because they will rush gens to the last one before they realize what's going on. The absolute best they can do is share all 5 gens and the gates to get silver/gold Lightbringer for everyone, which is a safety pip. Best part they can't bully you while you are AFK, since some groups can FL you or if you are dumb enough to stand in certain spots they will get themselves body blocked and then report you for holding the game hostage. Can't do that to Freddy. It's quite diabolical.
If you just want to depip and not go full AFK but want to screw with survivors, put on Unrelenting and just swing at them while they are awake. Freaks them out it's funny. Could also throw on Bamboozle so that you can make your presence known by jumping a window.
@HellDescent said:

Actually Overcharge+HL can be pretty strong on Freddy. When they fail a skill check that's 11% regression (almost 9 seconds), and the fact that they will immediately run to a gen with OC to wake up faster means you can circle jerk them on a gen and make them regress it to 0 really fast by sleeping them and kicking the gen repeatedly. It will get to the point they will actually hit the OC skill check and wait for a normal one instead to keep the gen going.
That said there are way superior options.

most of you seem to completely overlook the point. This is information that SWF's get for free, among a variety of other pieces of information.we need to fix the gap of information between SWF and solo. this gap is one of the biggest problems with proper balance in the game.
in order to reach better balance, we either need to remove the ability to use 3rd party software with the game (not even sure if that's possible) or we need to equalize the information between SWF and solo.
only after that is handled can this game ever get a semblance of true balance.
No, pumping solo up to SWF is not the way to balance the game. You're not actually fixing the problems as much as you making them more commonplace.
What needs to happen is that SWF groups need some sort of limit imposed. Something like there can only be 1 instance of any given perk in an SWF group. If your buddy wants to run DS/Adren, then you can't. Simple as that. If you are solo, the there are no limits. The bigger your group, the more the handicap. SWF's should be doing team builds anyway, and not use the 1-size-fits-all meta perks for everyone.

@Raptorrotas said:
The problem is exactly this very piece of information:
"Is the killer chasing someone else?"Swf is partially game breaking just because of this.
No (serious) survivor player would take it slow to do gens if he knows hes currently safe
Just this information will enable even the most casual beginner to sprint to a gen and rush the hell out of it.Except a good survivor shouldn't care if someone else is getting chased. If the killer isn't chasing you, do a gen. It's that simple. You don't need to know if someone else is being chased, you just need to know YOU are not being chased.
Likewise you know immediately when killer is chasing if you see someone get injured. If the killer chases the obsession then you know without them even getting hit.
The whole SWF thing can backfire too. Saying "he's chasing me" and then a moment later he breaks the chase, now others are out of position and thinking they are safe. I've had it happen many times in very intense games with SWF. Miscommunication is a thing, and that can screw you over. Sometimes my group will tell me something that contradicts my solo survivor instinct so I ignore it. I've had people give me bad info that gets me killed.
Giving solo players SWF levels of info is a bad idea. It would just make the game worse not better. You can't expect solo players with no comms to be on the level of players that can talk to each other. You literally have to break the game to make that work, and on top of that SWF gets even MORE info to use. Now that bad info I get doesn't matter, because the game just does it for you.
And if it's REALLY that hard to know when/where someone is being chased then run Bond, Empathy, Alert, or the new Jeff perk Bromance or whatever it's called. You can tell IMMEDIATELY someone is being chased and actively avoid the killer.
-
If you run more than 1 totem you should be forced to split your attention between them. If you know which is Ruin and which are HG you will play different. It's supposed to be RNG, and if you want to use a bunch of totem perks then you need to accept that.

After that it's kind of preference. I usually run BBQ/Whispers, MYC, and Sloppy/Ruin. It's a strong snowball build.

Why devs don't listen us? We always share console problems on every forum but devs don't answer our question. They will fix frame rate on december at least but we have a few major problems too.
1 - killer sensivity : It is too low we need very high sensitivity, thats why huntress and nurse are worst killers on console(unplayable killers on rank 1)
2 - Pig's grab problem : Right now pig can not hatch grab or pallet grab. She is doing animation but it is bugging her and survivor still escape.
3 - Input delay - Dedicated servers please
4 - Auto aim for nurse - we really need that
I disagree with 4 because we use to have auto-aim and I hated it. So many times as a survivor rounded a corner auto-aim would wrestle control from me and I'd hit the wall. Since it was taken away I can now move and aim correctly...assuming fps is being kind...
You can't flick analog when they 360.Thats why console needs auto aim
Yes you can. I play Nurse at rank 1 Xbox with high sensitivity. It's entirely possible. What makes it tricky is frame rate. If you blink and drop frames it's harder to aim. Fix FPS issues and Nurse would be just fine on console.

If you think being a 110% m1 killer is good at all, you should see Montos videos. He makes short work of Legion even with No Mither runs.Keep in mind PTB doesn't factor rank. He was playing against rank 15 killers and stuff. Ofc a player with +2k hours will beat a baby easy every time. Also the killer is brand new and in the first few days no one will fully understand how to best play him. Also also killer players are probably not explicitly playing to 4k they are playing to experiment with stuff and figure out the new killer.
That doesn't mean Legion is weak or strong. Just that you can't really use the PTB as reliable evidence for or against. We need results from games with equally ranked players playing normally. When you can bring a purple toolbox with a BNP or insta-heals every game it kinda skews results.

Type Good game if you mean that. I’ve had people who I really loved playing with suddenly get angry and cuss me out for typing just “gg” because they interpreted it as “get good”.I “gg” survivors who save or heal me, and killers who don’t camp. Unless I’m the obsession, then I expect to be tunneled. Lol
I feel like these players are either not gamers or maybe young gamers. Anyone who plays games online will know GG means "good game".

On Xbox I try to strictly regulate my GGs to when I die, that way when so message the killer, it seems true.Didn't I play against you yesterday? You were Myers on Church right? You got a 3k and I escaped through the hatch. Dude you had like 10 tier 3's that game LOL. I'm like "how the hell is he getting t3 so fast!?!"
-
I send GG to all killers and survivors that weren't toxic during the game. Most times I get one back, but this salty Wraith yesterday replied with "nty" after we all escaped in a rather close game. He had NOED too, and had someone hooked and someone slugged when the gates were open. If he pressured us a bit more he could have got 2k or 3k. Instead he let the slug crawl away, then when I got him up he left the hook, my buddy made the save with BT and we all ran out the gate. Like man up and take the L, you made a mistake own it.
Survivors can be just as bad. The scrubby ones that run out in front of me while injured and on last hook get mad I tunneled them. Like bro, you basically let me kill you. Or the ones that get mad when someone DC's, I usually go easier on the rest if it was early in the game. But when I still come out with a 4k they get salty about it, like I have control over someone leaving. I played nice with you, I coulda bodied the group much harder but I didn't because I want a fun game.

There are a few great Nurse players on Xbone.
All it takes is practice. There are exactly 3 top tier Nurse's on Xbox, I know their names but I'm not going to share them here (1 of them is a toxic #########, the other 2 are cool). Then there are good Nurse's, that's a small chunk. Every other Nurse I've played on Xbox is a baby. But it mostly comes down to people not wanting to put in the time to learn her. I played her exclusively for a week and got really good with her to the point I could consistently 3k/4k at rank 1 without Ruin. Some people that have played my Nurse when I'm on point might tell you I'm in the top tier with the others but I don't think I'm that good yet.

That’s like saying every survivor doesn’t need to do gens.
Actually you don't. You can pip as survivor without doing a single gen AND dying. It's possible, though not advisable.
-
LMFAO 40% you're kidding right? That's like Dying Light x2.
Make it a flat 5% per tier. That's all it really needs. Yes tier 1 gets weaker, but all the other tiers are stronger. With 4 stacks it would take 100 seconds to solo a gen, no other buffs/debuffs. 20 seconds for a heal, and 40 seconds for Self Care (basically Sloppy Butcher).

TFW people think their opinion matters.

Kate and Spirit. Jake, Huntress, and Hag are my secondaries.

Happens on Xbox too.

That’s the thing fox, and im
glad you pointed this out. Wasting time in a match simply drags it out, it doesn’t help the killer at all, why would I hit someone in frenzy when simply two hitting normally for a down is much more beneficial? I see what they are trying to do here, it shouldn’t gaurantee a down, but they should definitely make it to where it makes them weaker over time. Wearing down survivors would be fun for this killer, and finally add another layer of gameplay to the now slightly tiresome “two hit” chases. It would be more fun if every time the deep wounds effect was applied, it was more severed and would bleed quicker. Or at least reduce the bar to a minimum of 50%, with each deep wound hit from a healthy state reducing its max health by 10%. Resulting in needing to have the effect applied five times to really feel the impact. Stops Tunneling. Seems like a lot of fun.
If it means someone loses time on a hook or a gen regresses more than is has an affect on the game. If I'm sitting there Mending instead of healing or doing a gen while you chase, that's just extra time for the killer. If you catch the guy when I stop Mending it's still worth the time loss. If survivors aren't doing their objectives then you benefit as killer.
You have to look at it like: Should I chase and two hit this ONE LONE survivor, or should I get a hit on 3 survivors and have a (potentially) longer chase on one of them? I would take the latter because that's 3 survivors not doing gens. If it takes me an extra 15 seconds to end the chase because of my speed/power, it's still a net gain for me since no gens are being done.

thesuicidefox said:We have that. It's called Dying Light.
Woah, how genius would it be if Killer perks like dying light actually determined the rules of the game mode?
I mean, the whole idea of a VIP is Dying Light. When killer runs that perk you want to keep that dude alive as much as you can.
We don't need more modes. We need the current mode to be more balanced.

@thesuicidefoxWhat is meant by stealth here is predominantly the state in which EVERYBODY is hidden, thus not losing time by being hidden.
This state of Stealth is an opportunity for players to find eachother, to cleanse totems, open chests and what not.
It can basically be seen as a state where the game is on pause, except that the killer can break this state.
One of the problems with Bond in general is that it requires you a perk slot for something other players in the player-base get for free. (check post above yours)
No stealth is moving around without being found. It can be 1 person or everyone. Whether or not you do objectives is irrelevant. As long as you can move around the killer without being found you are being stealthy. And most survivors are absolute trash at actual stealth, they think hiding in 1 spot not moving is stealth. It only is stealth if the killer is blind. I can't tell you how often I catch survivors hiding like I don't see them. I will even look right at them as I walk up to them and they still don't move, despite it being completely obvious I see them. Know what I do when it's obvious the killer see me hiding like that? I run, before they have a chance to get any closer, I run because I know I've been found.
More information is not necessary. Survivors just need to be less stupid and more aware of what's actually going on.
