If you want those then there needs to be a map with water that isn't the swamp. No one wants to go swimming in muck

Doc and wraith
I like shocking people for my amusement and the occasional notification as well as the "surprise " when uncloaking. Though the built in windstorm is really a soft reset to a chase due to slow down -
Bing bong boy didn't need a perk built in AND have it a perk from his own kit. It's redundant and I don't know who thought it was a good idea in the first place.

Doesn't map give aura reading? The key can too so they'll be better with open handed right? Just asking because if OH does make them better than it's doing its jobBrady said:@Orion said:

Open Handed - it literally has no use if nobody on your team has any aura reading abilities. I wouldn't have a clue on how to fix the perk other than giving it it's own unique function. It works for yourself as well, and proper use of the pre-game chat will fix the "your team" bit.
Point is here --> .
You are here................ --> .
Open handed has 0 base function without any perks to support it otherwise. Like, literally nothing of gameplay would be changed. It is meant to support perks like Bond and stuff like... feels like a waste almost because 36m is big enough. Unless all x4 use it, there isn't much good use out of it. Unlike Self Care or something Lol.

That doesn't really help anyone and only makes the grind to the point of being unbearable. I mean it takes a while to prestige especially if you play casually and you're asking new and basically anyone who didn't p3 all their characters to p3 them for all perk slots while playing against other players who may have been there from the beginning and who are completely unhindered
. Besides it just makes adept achievements a drag.

Unique way to handle the situation and it's pretty fair if the survivor lasts a minute hello gate the only bad thing is if they got rolled with 3 or the elusive 5 gens to goNickenzie said:
If I had to balance the developers idea, here's what I would do:powerbats said:@Nickenzie said:
redsopine1 said:Just implement a program that stops hatches from opening if a survivor is within 15-20 feet from it (the amount of times somone left there friend or kamikazied themselves and next second they hatch it is just shameful for ditching but also really commendable for the people willing to die so there fiend escapes
I like the idea the developers said, "When the 2nd to last survivor dies, the killer will be able to see the survivor's aura and after 1 minute... The exit gates will open."
Yeah Billy/Nurse will just love that since that's a free win at that point.
-When the second to last survivor gets sacrificed, both the survivor and the killer will have a 30 second grace period.
-During the grace period, both the killer and the survivor can see the hatch aura.
-The killer can close the hatch at anytime.
Gives the survivor/killer time to find the hatch. This is like a race and adds a spice to the end game for both the killer and the survivor.
-After 30 seconds from the second to last survivor being sacrificed, the killer can now see the survivor's aura but cannot see the survivor's aura when within 32m from the survivor.
Survivors can now juke/lose the chase since the killer has no aura reading on the survivor.
-Once at least a minute has passed after the second to last survivor being sacrificed, the exit gates will open automatically.
Encourages the last survivor to make a break for it and escape.
This will still happen if the hatch hasn't spawned in but for every generator needed to be repaired to spawn the hatch, the exit gates will take a additional 30 more seconds to open. -
Sour killers can build for the gates but survivors are too lazy to build for the hatch? Survivor:PinkEricka said:
They had a right to whine. They don’t think it’s unfair, it IS unfair. Anyone can see that it’s way too killer sided other than the crying killer mains.Aari_Piggy66 said:Grey87 said:Those hatch changes you talk about may not even come at all.
It's been a while and the devs don't say when, or if at all ,those changes will come.
First implementation: close the Hatch and a survival would have to do a gen to reopen it.
Well the first time they implemented it people complain that it was too overpowered and killer favoured because it was impossible to do one gen. Even though it would make left behind really viable if you decide to build for Hatch games. Yet when they were told to just a quick left behind they said they shouldn't have to equip a perk to win
Eventually they tweaked it because people were complaining.
Second implementation: Closing the hatch would power the exit gates.
Honestly this was pretty fair you didn't have to do a generator just open an exit gate but people complain that it would be too unfair if gates spawned too close to each other. Especially with Billy or nurse.
Even though it actually made hope and wake up really viable and if the gates were on opposite sides it was harder for killer easier for a survivor.
But I'm guessing they scrapped that idea because people were complaining about it too much so honestly I don't know what's going to happen with hatch.
Honestly the ideas they had previously were pretty good it gave some underused perks some relevance left behind, hope and wake up.
As well as giving a slight boost to some other Killers powers Freddy and Wraith who can wait at hatch undetected then close it whilst the survivors out in the open. Piggy couldforce traps to activate and put people in a position where they have to take it off.
Tl:dr The ideas they had with hatch closing would have been pretty amazing and beneficial if people adapted to it but I doubt we'll never get them because whining won in the end
Having a build for a hatch stand-off is completely ridiculous! I’m not putting on trash perks that barely anyone uses just for a hatch stand-off, it’s a waste of a perk slot, I’d rather have perks on that can help my team and myself....
There is no adapting, it’s killer favored. I don’t see any way this can ever be balanced.
Left behind is literally to complete gene if you're team ducks and dies fast.
Hope gives you a 2 minute movement speed boost.
Wake up opens the gates faster.
Killer:
Blood warden hook someone prevent exit for 1 minute after gates open.
Noed: instant down once gates are powered
Heck the other person said it would favor the side depending on map and rng -
I only did this twice, both as wraith because something came up. First time had to run to the post office second time I was asked to help with something and couldn't make it back in time.
-
I tend to let the last one escape if their team put up a good fight but still died or if they had bad luck and had several dc on them early in the game if they manage 2 gens.
-
If epicfailtryhard were here I'm sure he'd tell you how he somehow did even worse.
-
It was between wraith doc and nurse but doc wins. I love shock and his perks are all great.

I usually lean into the lunge like it would give that extra inch for my weapon to kiss their back. Sadly all I get is a whoosh of disappointment.

I concur actually got the left behind achievement by stealthily the last Gen against a doctor on myers map with the door was right behind me. He only walked by once and a locker wasn't that far.Tsulan said:So... is this part 2 of your other thread with basically the same call for nerfs?
- nurse = strong, but not impossible to beat
- billy = the most balanced killer in the game. Every killer should be as balanced as he is.
- hag = maybe use crouch for something else than teabaggin?
- DS = 1 DS is ok. 4 DS are a nightmare and OP. Devs could leave DS the way it is, IF (big if) only 1 survivor can use it.
- SC = survivors shouldn´t be able to be self sufficient. It´s a teamgame.
- BBQ = what´s wrong with BBQ? It´s the number 1 perk that reduces camping. Killer camps despite of using BBQ? Maybe stop hiding behind a gen then.
- NOED = only punishes gen rushers. If you take your time to cleanse all totems, there won´t even spawn NOED.
- Ruin = only way to slow down the game against gen rushers. You have 3 ways to stop it: cleanse it, hit great skill checks and gen tap. It´s a bad perk that could get some love, but is a must, because of how fast gens are done.
- stealth = you have all you need to play stealthy. IW, Q&Q, Dance with me, Lightweight, CS, and Ninja suit Claudette. Doctor can be stealthed. Just look at your feet. When you see the static field, the doctor is coming. Better go somewhere else or hide in a locker.

Ok the d strike makes way more sense and it also allows for mind games. A 10 second bear trap is more reasonable since the killer tends to be far off when the survivor gets trapped and if they aren't they'd probably get picked up anyway. Thank you for correcting me on the decisive perk and your line of thinking.Nickenzie said:
I mean, my goal with these changes was to make the game more fun! For example: No one likes to be the first one being NOED or EW 3'd! At least with Myers, you have a chance to get away, even if it's a small chance! I just dislike the exposed status effect in general since it's so unfun for the survivor, think of it as being gen rushed as as killer... You had no chance of getting a sacrifice type of unfun. Now the bear trap, you might have a point, it's probably OP so if more people say it's then I'll reduce the time down to 10 seconds if that's okay with you!starkiller1286 said:Teir 3 myers sounds rather op if you give him relentless for a total of 65% reduction not to mention a lunge as long as post blink nurse. I mean get in swinging range and you're done.
The bear traps are a bit much, 15 seconds is a pretty long time being immobile especially if the killer has your devour of hope.
D strike sounds like a massive downgrade. People have a hard time wiggling free themselves and you suggest to double it for a 1 time perk? It makes iron grasp/agitation redundant
Decisive Strike, I think you miss understood me a little! Basically if the survivor wiggled 75%, 60%, then on their final hook 15%... That would be enough % to get the DS skill check and break free from the killer's grasp. I would actually use DS if this is how it was reworked since it's the killer's fault for taking too long to hook me! Overall, great civil and valid points @starkiller1286! -

For the doctor: overcharge or overwhelming presence would be good. Monitor and abuse actually hurts him ironically

But they could always just use the screaming symbol like doctor's madness thing to prevent that from happening.Countfunkular said:Okay I like the concept but there's one particular problem. Survive with friends in teams would pretty much destroyed with these type of perks now let me explain to you why.
One perk allows you to scream. That is bad all on its own because there's nothing stopping a survive with friends troop from having one particular scapegoat that runs decisive and has a purple flashlight in perks that make them damn near uncatchable on a map that the survivors chose to go to because of how bad it was.
There's nothing stopping them from having that guy run off at the mouth lowering your attention away. Again it feels like a crying wolf situation because you're running to a location expecting find a generator or something has gone awry just to realize that a prick is standing there with a flashlight waiting for you to chase them away and keep chasing them so everybody else can get the job. -
Tell me more about the tears.

As the others said losing line of sight is vital to not dying. You could try running through her as she blinks though only do that if you think she is going to overshoot you then the second blink has to correct the first one. A perk that is suggested is dead hard since it forces her to miss her swing and sends her into extended fatigue.

You do know that the 4th or 3rd drop is a free escape right? Besides all they know is that you are the obsession and the game doesn't tell them if you have d strike so they juggle

I think it rewards you with great skill check hits even if you hit a good at the cost of staying in the killer's terror radius for 15 seconds.Khalednazari said:Stake Out. I don't understand the purpose of this perk. -
How would one fight a ghost? Nurse is basically one as she teleports around even her mori has her blink to her victim and back off.
You say it has limited uses but don't specify how many.
What good is a RNG based perk for survivora anyway? No one uses Slippery meat or pre-buff calm spirit.
Even if DS becomes a stun so you can wiggle off that is guarranteed if you hit the skill check, why have a perk that will maybe stun the killer? -
I had 4 games a huntress camped a myers did myers things and downed my potato "teammates" nurse blinked around and didn't camp the last seemed to camp but in reality just installed the game and didn't know how Whispers worked. Even in low ranks there are some who camp and some who are indifferent. Personally I don't own Laura and don't play Hillbilly so I'm just in it to say I did.

Bad idea survivors who hate killer x will just dodge and those that don't can counter. I think they used to see the killer in the past and it was abused then.

Third Seal just needs to be a hit perk and Thano should be a hex perk, but it's twice as strong and healing doesn't fix the debuff.Sounds REALLY cool, but the devs will just ignore this because all they want is to buff survivors, not killers...
They might have to if the kindred change goes through, killers will need some kind of counter aura and no one uses Third Seal since it's the weakest hex perk.

Because he has too much that needs doing apparently in my opinion they just need to revert the nerfs they did to him a week after launch and go from there.

That isn't entirely fair for the killer, unless the killer is permanently an MVP for their own "team" while survivors have an MVP for their "team".
Besides that will just lead to farming like old borrowed time or how people farm for the unhook with blank ritual. -
What goober would no mither and go for stealth without iron will to silence them?
If you want a total quiet build if would be no mither, calm spirt, iron will and maybe Feng's generator perk incase you screwup or maybe left behind if you think you'll outlast your team. -
I played a few days ago and it was the exact opposite and people on the forms have been complaining about long killer ques while survivors find games instantly.

You actually don't need to buy them tho xD They're for people like you, who want to pay money for the company xD Only buying one or two of those skins isn't that expensive so normal people don't cry about it. Maybe stop wasting your money on digital items that have no real value?
You are aware that games with numerous characters also have a wide variety of cosmetics for said characters and that people who like them will buy right? Besides like in my post they aren't entirely complaining about how much they spent but that there is no "discount" for giving so much money at once since companies typically throw in a percentage of "free" currency for buying a large bundle allowing the customer to have a little bit of padding for their next purchase. If DBD had such a thing this whole comment section probably wouldn't even exist and I probably would have bought some cells for killer cosmetics I like.
Also cosmetics are more like vanity items not entirely so the company can get money for nothing and people tend to buy way more than 1 or 2 if they really like the game it's why Overwatch and Team Fortress 2 allow you to buy cosmetics to make your characters look cool and people spend hundreds of dollars on them without a complaint. If the company wanted handouts for nothing they could have easily implemented a donation button and not set up a greedy store with no discounts.
They actually ''give'' u a ''free'' percentage of extra auric cells at some point. Look closely.
Don't compare this game to overwatch. Pls, don't. The only thing they have in common is that they're both unbalanced. Overwatch has a loot box based cosmetic system. Not a real currency based one. Sure you can also buy cosmetics with coins but u can't purchase gold coins and some skins are only purchasable with real money. DbD is the same in that way, I guess. You can buy some cosmetics with real money and some with the currency ''Iridescent shards''. These equal coins. Overwatch doesn't give you bonus loot boxes when buying the big packs btw. You basically called Blizzard a ''greedy store with no discounts'' since u think you're entitled to that, while you're only one of many cash cows.
Blizzard gives Overwatch lootboxes by playing the game and leveling up they even give event ones for free assuming you sign in during the event. I only used Overwatch as an example purely due to them selling cosmetics such as the League stuff which are unattainable through lootboxes although I should have used a game like Elsword as a much better example as they have tons of characters, sell ingame currency an and have cosmetics you can only get through their cash shop. As a side note I never liked lootboxes and never gave Blizzard a dime for them although I do admit that I was wrong about the "free" cells for larger bundles Regardless the cosmetic items in this game are rather overpriced when compared to cosmetic DLC packs being 5 or 3 dollars or killer bundles like Myers, Nurse and others being 7.

What they really need are in almost every game with cash for currency they give you a bit more than the previous bundle by maybe 5 to 10 percent the last being maybe 20 percent max since you are buying in bulk and they want you to buy more. What Did has is a set price which means even if you get the largest bundle there is no discount or free cells for departing with so much money at once. It's really quite silly because it leads to the problem you just described as an unhappy customer and can influence others who read your story less likely to give money for cells.

If you manage to have it last for several hooks it forces the survivors to pay attention to sudden skill checks. Recall a few old videos by type time and I think monto and it had them slow their commentary to focus more .Tsulan said:@Okuu46 said:
Tsulan said:Yeah totems are really pointless. I´ll never understand why survivors are able to destroy a killers perk.
Ruin is only so popular, because it slows down the gen rush by 30 to 60 seconds.
Killers willing to sacrifice a perk slot, just to get barely a minute more to hunt survivors, explains pretty much the state of the game.
NOED only hurts gen rushers, and even then, it´s often cleansed right after it spawned (because a totem next to an exit gate, makes so much sense)
Right? I mean i guess i could see how some should be destroyed, because of how powerful they become; like devour of hope and huntress lullaby, but even then, its not fair when survivors can see that perk all the time, even before its active; which makes it useless.
And, dont even get me started on noed...
Huntress lullaby is powerful?
In what universe?! -
Sounds like a major need to him you do realize that he has a madness radius for a reason right? So survivors know when he's near and don't rank up in madness for no reason. Besides tier 1 madness is useless aside from the first scream detection so he'll have a harder time reliably finding survivors and only make him even more add-on dependant than he is now. Not to mention it takes him about a second and a half to charge his spark making it 4 seconds makes his power more useless than the wraith.
-
That doesn't really do anything since as you stated 4 are required to start the game unless you mean if they fail to load into the map. Besides I faIL to see how this is anything other than free BP for survivors by existing. It's not like survivors are rare in any capacity currently it's just a bugreat which gives horribly long questions for killers
-
You can't nerf camping without time extension when being in a certain range of the hooked suvivor. Devs tried it and it was absurd and reverted.
Why do you want to nerf patrolling? The killer leaves the hook to check the hens and back to protect their senpia from those who wish to steal them. What you seem to be asking is a free unhook Borrowed Time grants a temporary bonus hit if the survivor is unhooked outside killer terror radius so you can use that on patrollers.
The counter to tunneling is to not be found first the devs literally can't do anything about it as it's up to the player. -
Pride comes before fall he shouldn't have done that dance and just jumped in instead
