I rarely use totems to begin with just the occasional huntress lullaby if I feel like defending an extra item

You mean the rough 625 quitter bonus? Still no where near the sacrifice or Moro points and nice assuming.Detective_Jonathan said:@starkiller1286 said:

And why does this bother you exactly? At the end of it all, you're still getting points and you're still getting a 3k, just take the win and move on. Since when did the actions of what a survivor does affect a killer....oh yea. I forgot, ya'll still get upset at tea-bagging and pointing. Never mind then.
3 man games aren't fun since the game is balanced around 4...
Who cares about their fun? If it bothers them so much then there is the "Leave Match" option right there. If they don't want to be in the game then they are free to leave. Not like it won't be counted against them anyways considering the devs don't do anything about dc'ing. Fun in this game is something that does not exist. You don't care about the others persons fun. Ever. No one does, No one ever will.
Because when a survivor dvs the killer is robbed of the bloodpoints AND emblem points that would allow them to pip besides it's clearly intended as a middle finger to the killer when they DC during the animation when the game calculates it once the animation is finished just like with the sacrifice animation, it only counts once it finishes.
The killer actually gets a quitter bonus from the dc, but you wouldn't know that because you probably DC when you see a 3 man game.

When I play I don't care what you wear as long as everyone's ping is below 300 and there aren't 3/4 toolboxes. I can manage to slap down the lights but the boxes are too overwhelming assuming they are swf.
-
I'm just doing my job making sure no kids broke into the auto haven and here I find 4 miscreants working on my generators I need to keep my the gas station running. So I ring my bell to get their attention and they scatter like roaches! Don't they know how dangerous scrap yards are? Well anyway I manage to catch 3 of them and call the local police who carried them away in a red and black helicopter sadly the last kid got away thanks to a hole in the ground.

Not quite there are 2 vessels base so you need at least 2 offerings and no hooks for everyone to get out with one.DwightsLifeMatters said:This event is again anti solo Q. I would have liked it more if it doesn't matter you carried it out or your mate. So ultimately, if someone takes out the "event objective" to the exit every survivor (who escaped aswell) gets rewarded. Would be much better to play as a team in solo Q.
So either Killer, or SWF or beeing a selfish egoistic bastard in solo Q. Normal Solo Q seems to be impossible.
3 or more offerings in case the killer breaks one everyone can still get theirs with a 4 man escape -
My best guess is that 2 friends will search for the other and the one who is killer will DC so the survivor gets pointsMc_Harty said:@Bongbingbing said:
If the killer DCs they said you still gain your points from the Gens.Giving out the extra 25 from the vessels for free on a DC'd killer would be easily exploited. How? Right now just seems like it's cucking players. If anyone DCs, it [BAD WORD] the other side for the event.
-
Bit since the killer can delete the eventime item while someone is on the hook it would be in their best interestto search for vessels to smash and if a posters theory is right. Ie: the vessels are forcibly dropped due to corruption as someone was hooked. The survivors either have to rush gems and be sneaky to avoid the killer being able to break the vessels or hide theirs in a corner and come back for it when the hatch/gates are open.kazzymoyashi said:
So how is it different? All it will do is promote people to do 2 gens and then hide until everyone else dies. It's going to be a bad set up. In fact, you're more likely to get survivors pointing and BMing more towards one another. It's honestly going to create a bigger issue when it comes to the toxicity in this community.ToxicFengM1n said:Let me evaluate this, its gonna be different because they will choose going for the item over teammates and greed will occur

His reaction tells me that dead zones are common somehow with this patch.

Kinda sucks that the killers are so stiffed in points though if Prove Theyself/leader are going to be meta for the event so will blood warden and remember me for "bonus time"
-
If you really have that much trouble bring a flashlight and shine her when she's charging it light burns her and forces a stun.
-
Did you know that when the game was first released Sabo were permanent?Lateral said:Probably because the amount of hooks are just absolutely ridiculous? I brought one Toolbox to match recently and spent it destroying hooks, I then found 2 more Tool boxes in match and spent them destroying hooks too and I still ended up dying on a hook. They seriously need to reduce the amount of hooks but I doubt they will because this game is all about Killer hand-holding.

Bwhahhaahahhahahhahahhahahhahah
Oh look, a sociopath ^ on these forums? never.
Guess what happened : all hooks were destroyed so the killer had the impossible job of basement hooks hook response is to stop that from occuring. -
Actually you can I have by simply not playing for a month or two at rank 15 cause other games have my interest and when I hop on it's back to be with the starter ranks as if I never climbed to 15.Master said:edogast said:literally unplayable, been waiting for more than an hour, no one comes into my lobby at all as a killer. but I can find lobbies with full people as a survivor just fine. You can't depip into the ranks 20-16. I know it sucks and I don't know why bhvr did this, but you will have to deal with absurd queue times till you are rank 15edogast said:literally unplayable, been waiting for more than an hour, no one comes into my lobby at all as a killer. but I can find lobbies with full people as a survivor just fine. I was on both sides of that and though they yelled at me after game it was just an accident as long as you don't go around making noise or purposefully failing skill checks it's fine.
-
Panic a bit and attempt to make a weapon to defend myself with along with trying to use makeshift weights to help increase my running speed.
Seriously everyone moves at the exact same pace even Kate and Nea who are runners more or less it's weird. -
It's a nice way to end "hatch standoffs" I remember a altruistic survivor and I got into a standoff so I hit him and he didn't realize his flashlight was gone until the exit screen. It was quite amusing.
-
Never even if the survivors are being super toxic or if I'm up against rank 1s. The worst case scenario is something coming up so I afk until the task is done.
-
Mate your math is wrong if Sach survivor is worth an extra 50 than 4 would be 200 not 400.MhhBurgers said:Give killers 50% bonusBP for EACH member of a SWF. A 4man SWF will give the killer 400% bonus BP. There, now I can simply use an ebony mori everytime a 4man SWF popps up, I haven't found 2man/3man to be much of an issue.
-
I doubt it Microsoft and Sony still aren't playing nice with each other and besides those on PC would have an advantage via that 360 dodge
-
I concur playing hide and go seek is boring

Then they should just hard lock it at rank 15 once you reach it. I haven't played in months but I know I can hit skill checks and catch survivors well enough. I guess we're back to low rank balancing again.alivebydeadight said:@starkiller1286 said:
He really didn't need the nerf honestly snap out of it is easy which is why they buffed it to allow NC in the first place.I know snap out of it is easy but the original hurt newer players facing killers that had rank reset pull them to rank 16 or 20

It would be great if they had options for the music that plays when being chased, searching, and main menu.DarkWo1f997 said:
Well the survivor music is 10/10. As long as no tracks are replaced I’m ok with it. But I’d like some sinister tracks to play for the killer. I think that’s why Myers is so enjoyable to play.HatCreature said:@DarkWo1f997 said:
NO! The soundtrack is fanstastic. They need to add MORE. The survivor’s have good atmospheric music, the problem is that the killer has very little in that soundtrack department.I really wish that the survivor chase music music was shared with the killer.
I can totally agree with the Survivor having better chase music, I'm mostly just trying to say we need more music, scarier tense music.

I rarely use he perks but to slow the game I use remember me and am sure to kill the obsession before the last gen is done.
-
Why would one side EVER give the other side more bp? People still DC regardless of the number of party streamers even if they put one up themselves.
-
If I remember correctly didn't they say the event will be yearly for new players to try or something?
-
Kinda sounds like you got that from Last Year since once they get the gate open they must leave or they will automatically lose within 60 seconds. Although what about the hatch, NOED, Warden, and keys?
Not to mention some maps spawn the doors right next to each other someone like nurse, hag or maybe Billy can easily guard those. -
Happy Halloween
-
And if the killer wants their full outfit they'll have to pick weeds like you did since you need to max out both sides for the full set/ 3 of your choicemellojay said:I don't think you get it apropos. This event has added a new feature that survivors HAVE to do in order to collect vials necessary to get event clothes. All the killer has to do is play the game normally and they will get their vials filled, but for survivors there is the flowers they have to collect plus the gens and if the killer has a hex they have to get totems too. The survivors are multitasking way more than a killer does and with the new patch it takes even more time for them to complete them. So no, you can't compare this to a regular game of DbD, as this new event has skewed everything into the Killer's favor. The devs should have made it like the events before with event generators.

It would be creepy as hell seeing him moonwalk/ scuttle upside down towards you
-
That last part reminds me the old some old commercial where because of one thing going wrong it just escalateseems until they are either homeless or put in a correctional facility

Very unlikely he dates them and the 2nd or 3rd to last entry is him call in out looking for vigos.Global said:@Keene_Kills said:
I'm leaning towards the idea of him being the new killer, given the situation in his Blight notes. I'm down with that.I think the notes are vigos?

That's fine just use flip phones like in the old times. You should be ableto get some for cheap.
-
Although I didn't burn shards for a character I'm going to assume you aren't getting a refund if you pay with money. I mean if you buy a perk with shards than later buy the killer you don't get a shard refund.
-
#2 is literally a free escape even if the survivor is injured and downed the weapon cleaning animation is more than enough to crawl and jump into the hatch
-
They literally said no mither iso to challenge yourself as for monsterous shrine I've seen a few suggestions over the last week along with surveillance which is literally useless. Overcharge does a far better job even if they hit the skill check since it gives 0 progression and with Huntress Lullaby is pretty hard to go against assuming you get the tokens.
-
True... sad but trueGrannyonAcid said:There is no hatch standoff. If you're a killer just walk away and let them escape. I know it's a stupid. But it isn't worth the time.

Sounds interesting and it gives players a base with a killer they may not own although there is that chancertain of having no mither forced into you.
Although how would the host be decided? -
When I got 1 basement hook as wraith and all the other survivors rapidly were downed trying to rescue the first, survivord. Until they all got spider hugged to death.
-
I have a hard time finding the problem. He could be usein some add on that increases the stalk time to raise his ew level
-
Isn't it as hard to hit as an overcharge or madness skill check? It's not hard at all unless you just started playing
-
I only used one time after a hook in the basement as a new killer then never again
-
Victorian nurse is lovely though the other doctor bodies are quite horrifying

I only use it to experiment with different he set ups and see how well they do in low to mid ranks
-
None even if I get blindfield for the 4th time in a row
-
I never DC as either regardless of how toxic the other side is. Sure there were times where I really wanted to facing against high ranks as a mid/low rank but I still stuck to it. The only reason I would leave early is if my computer crashes or the garbage anti-cheat suddenly drops on me.
-
I never had that happen, good to know it's possible now
