Why are they ignoring his current balance state?

    Because he has too much that needs doing apparently in my opinion they just need to revert the nerfs they did to him a week after launch and go from there.

    Freddy buffs overdue...? How about Wraith lol. He's trash tier, and has been since this game first launched. Freddy can't compare to that.

    Also what starkiller1286 said is true, Freddy has a lot of work to be done to him if they want him to be a viable killer that people don't despise facing.
