So you want a consolation prize.
What else am I suppose to do?

Exactly what I do: go look for someone else because facecamping gives you no reward and it's just you BMing someone to get in a petty kill that, and I cannot stress this enough, gives you no reward. You literally get more pips and bloodpoints for finding and chasing someone else.
Ya but im trying to kill not pip.....there is literally no reason to leave the hook because everyone is already at the exit gate besides the one dude who is gonna go for the save
-
@MadLordJack said:
That doesn't solve the problem that everyone hates: facecamping.
there is nothing else to do at the end game besides face camp. You move and that person gets unhooked and the rest leave. Then you got borrowed time for the unhooked and without noed the other guy gets hit and gets a burst of speed and leaves. Whats a killer to do.

You're the only survivor who goes into the basement to save your teammate.
The killer is on his way and very close to the stairs.
Do you have a way to get out of there without getting down with your teammate?
Run up the stairs

I had a Twins game with an obvious SWF that was going for sabo plays and flashy saves. After they succeeded getting the first save, I said screw it and slugged the whole team. They couldn’t flashy save or sabo if I never picked up another Survivor.
Decided to end the game with zero hook at 4 gens and let them all bleed out on the floor after Victor destroyed their whole toxic ass team.
Is that toxic? Or is it deserved?
No, you did your duty
-
I give it my best effort at first but if it gets really bad and there is no hope to win I will just go run around the map breaking stuff lol
-
I play alot of Myers and I like to use jump scare Myers with play with your food, nemesis, sloppy and ruin
Normal Myers build I use the yellow and green add on to get to tier 3 fast and perks I use are bamboozle, Fire up, Corrupt, and a gen regressing perk
-
what's wrong with NOED?
-
is this the new killer?
-
SWF has to be the stupidest thing for a game like this. Just kills the game. Its honestly just cheating. ( oh watch out guys killers coming your way) everyone magically gone before you get there) so stupid. Oh hey guys there is a totem over there go cleanse it while I get chased :) . Oh but we wanna play with our friends and have fun. For this game that's stupid and ruins the game. Playing against the really good swf teams is zero fun. How can you have fun when they know everything and can communicate everything its the dumbest thing.
-
@Scoted said:
I know I’m gonna sound like a whining survivor and I hate that, but...
Huntress’ hatchet is overpowered and needs a nerf and nobody is talking about the fact Michael has the exact same thing. The only reason people play Michael anymore is to use his stupid add ons and I hate it. You can slap on unlimited tier 3 and the one that increases charge rate and you just get handed a free 4K. I don’t mind scratched mirror and jumps are Myers because that’s actually fun and interesting to play against. Infinite tier 3 is just obnoxious. Michael needs a whole change and that add on needs to be changed.
lmao all the gens are like done by the time you can even get to tier 3

if you do main one. you can still have played other killers i just mean which killer do you focus and play the most? i think its pretty obvious who i main but i also play alot of oni
Piggy, Ghostface and Myers are the only ones I play.

In the beginning of Halloween Michael Myers drives a car. I had forgotten about this until I rewatched Halloween the other day. BHVR is cheating us by not adding this very powerful ability to the game. Forget shirtless Myers, let Myers drive a car, give him some added mobility and lethality.
This is what the game is missing! We need driving Myers!

Gens havent changed at all. You got spoiled by undying and now cant play without it. Much like people who get sucked into using shadowborn.
If you were consistently rank killer before blights release, you can be again. If you werent, then you were carried by undying. Its that simple.
Nope, I am one who never really used undying and I have noticed Gens are just flying.
-
Buff the useless hex perks and actually make them worthy of a hex or just don't make them a hex. Example Blood Favor
-
Im a red rank killer main and I have been vs teams of like two rank 16s a Seven and a Four its literally every game I'm vs all colors of the rainbow.

Now that ds is being balanced should noed receive the same treatment?
Noed is obviously a pretty disagreed topic to talk about but what’s something most people could agree on?
Now before people start typing away saying “just do bones”, don’t. Yes you could say the perk has counterplay for that reason but does that make it fair? no. Now you could also say that the counterplay ds is too just slug but does that make ds fair? no, ds is complete bs. Both ds and noed have counterplay but that doesn’t make them fair.
Nord basically just guarantees the killer a kill for no reason and is that fair? maybe in a balanced perspective but that doesn’t mean the perk is fine in its current condition. Balanced or not, the perk is just straight up unhealthy for the game and needs to be altered in a way where it’s still strong but not bullsh1t and doesn’t just guarantee a free kill for no reason.
What are some ways you people would suggest tweaking it to be more healthy and balanced?
Its perfectly fine the way it is.

You mean like old undying? Pretty good objective
Not like old undying something that is just part of the start of the game not something the killer has to throw on.

I think survivors should also get 3 health states against pig. The traps should give you endurance to make it fair. No counterplay to a pig who chases you and hits you with her M1. It's ridiculous.
lmaoooooo I main pig and most of the time trap comes off right away and barley an inconvenience to survivors.
-
Gen times can stay how they are. But something needs to happen when you kick a gen and no more tappy tap on gens as soon as the killer leaves. And throw in a side objective or something at the beginning of a match
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Too many safe decisions which make the Perk even weaker. Pallets are a fundamental aspect of the game, so the Devs need to be really careful what they do. Something like Spirit Fury is already not really healthy, but something that prevents Pallets from being dropped can be even more unhealthy.
And because of that, whatever the Devs will do to Blood Favor, it will always be a weak Perk. Blood Favor by design cannot be a strong Perk.
lol how is spirit fury not healthy? gotta break 2 pallets to use it once. then after the first use they just throw them down early so you cant use it again.

No hex perk deserves being a hex perk. Most are ridiculously weak.
could not agree more
-
If anything it definitely should not be a hex because something so weak should not be a hex. A hex should be strong because it could go away in seconds lol So like just make it strong. It wont last

I’m just genuinely curious is there anyone who thinks this map is either fun to play or well designed?
I generally do not like the swamp maps but as a killer I do very well on these maps for some reason so I dont mind going to them.
-
Yup it matters. I usually do horrible on Thompson house, Sanctum of wraith and gas heaven. Idk what it is but these three maps just give me a hard time.

@InsaneCoaster said:
The current 'hitbox' issue is actually caused by de-sync (not hitboxes) between players, so from the point of view of killers, everything will look completely normal whereas for survivors, hits will look very off.
In other words, in the killer's eyes, a survivor might be right in front of them, but from the survivor's perspective, they might actually be considerably further ahead.
Ya thats what Im hearing. It still doesn't explain when I have them blocked in swing and it completely just misses them.

People ######### about DS, Unbreakable, Soul Guard, Borrowed Time, whatever else. What I don't understand is why people don't complain about Dead Hard nearly as much. I almost never see it talked about despite it being at the very least one of the most busted survivor perks in the game.
Dead Hard, when used right, is--to me at least--the most oppressive survivor perk. In chase, it's basically a free health state, and especially against certain killers like Nurse. And all you have to do is press E. No talent involved, wasting so much time of the killer, and it's not something with limited use (like unbreakable which can only be used once), or something that the killer allows you to use (DS).
It doesn't really matter if half the time it's used you're exhausted on the ground. You can make a similar case in point that DS is not very impactful on a game because people use it as soon as possible, often times after their first hook, rather than preserving it for more critical times. Same with Unbreakable: using it as soon as possible rather than strategically.
DH is the most infuriating piece of shite perk ever but I don't ever see people complain about it and rallying around it getting reworked and I actually don't understand why.
Dead hard can be annoying but usually when its used on me I messed up some how by swinging early or something like that. The perks the infuriate me the most is anything that gets the survivors 10,000 miles ahead of you like sprint burst. especially when they are on a gen and run away and there is like no point in going after them because they are so far away. Makes me so mad

Yeah the new hud as a whole makes me not notice things like if someone is saved from the ground.
I feel like every game im like cool they havnt done any gens yet then i look up and see 3 left lol like what?
-
I personally only use pig, myers, ghostface and once in awhile trapper
-
@BioX said:
Sooooo don't use them?
I'd why you make a thread about this...if you don't want to take the risk for the reward then dont
I have not been using them. Just wanted some opinions. would be cool if the risk wasn't that it could be gone at the very start of the game.

@ukenicky said:
If a hex isn't downright broken and able to be maintained throughout the match like with old undying then killers are pretty quick to just label hexes as trash.
Hexes, for the most part, are meant to be high risk high reward with the exception of some which are unique (eg. Undying and Retribution) or others which are genuinely trash like Blood Favor.
If you don't like the high risk high reward play style then go use different perks instead of complaining about wanting survivors to do side objectives and then complain when they do bones and dispel hexes lol
Would be nice to have a side objective that didnt take two seconds.

@Clünge said:
They're awesome. The absolute carnage & panic when devour hope hits 3rd hook is hilarious. A lot of survivors sprint like headless chickens to find it, therefore being easier to track & coming off gens.
As a killer, if you're concerned about losing your hex at the start of the game then just head straight for it at the start and work the gens from there.
I was against Nurse in Hawkins yesterday and she killed us all with Devour Hope (paired with Thrill of the Hunt). Each time someone tried to cleanse, she'd be there to give you a right good telling off & a slap. As a solo survivor it was tough but oh so beautiful to watch
Ya if your lucky enough to get 5 devour hope tokens then ya its carnage and awsome. But the odds of that are slim.
-
@TheWarNung said:
The point of hex perks is that they're high risk/high reward. They give you much more powerful benefits than regular perks but can be cleansed to remove those benefits.
If you don't like them that's totally fine. Play without them. That doesn't make them pointless though.
Im saying alot of them are not even that strong. At least make them a little bit strong because its gonna go away in 30 seconds anyway.
-
I have been running Overcharge,Opression,Undying and lullaby on ghostface and its pretty hilarious.
-
Lol earlier i had the final two survivors on hooks and i was just standing around by one and did not even realize one of them got off the hook because I am not used to looking up at the new set up....dude just walked on in and grabbed the other dude....im like wait what just happened.

Sadly no lol Ive been using it on ghostface and its been hilarious. They mess up and I stealthy stealth over to them and get my hit it grab.

I've been using Oppression, Distressing, Unnerving Presence and Lullaby on my Doctor. It's quite funny kicking one gen, hearing like 2 explosions in the distance followed by a bunch of screams. Sometimes taking pop instead of lullaby to be more effective.
Lol I just had a game....managed to get 5 stacks of lullaby and they could not finish one gen 🤣
-
I mainly play Myers, Ghostface and Pig and Trapper now and again
I used to play some Freddy, Doctor and Wraith
I have never played Nurse, Spirit or Pyramid head
I am absolutely trash with Billy, Bubba, Oni and Slinger

Obviously they do, they keep playing it that way.
Also realize that they just were matched to a weaker killer. If they were matched with a stronger killer they could easily get stomped regardless of whether they were on comms running meta perks. Contrary to what a lot of people seem to believe, this game isn't lop-sided in favor of one side's strategy or another. It is more dependent on individual player skill and a healthy dose of luck.
I have seen many meta teams using meta perks get stomped by a perkless killers or meme build killers. And I've seen many meta killers get stomped by survivors using joke builds.
I've also seen many Leatherface players do nothing but face camp all game and still get at least 2 kills. Man, he sure had a lot of fun didn't he?
I do not disagree with what what you said mostly. But me im a fairly decent killer and vs swf usually isnt a problem usually its a competitive game even if they did all escape all is well. Its vs these 1 percent god tier teams that get everything done in minutes and im not even playing bad and playing sombody like trapper vs a team like that is usless. Like I have a blast playing jump scare myers and I can see through walls but im also very very slow and at a disadvantage. these guys know where I am what im doing every second its just boring.
-
@Shirokinukatsukami said:
They finished their gens and escaped. They avoided you and looped you around and survived. Sounds like the definition of a good game for a survivor.
I'm sure it wasn't fun for you because you lost bad. But I'm sure the survivors were pretty happy.
How did you know before the game started that all totems would be gone in a minute? Are you psychic?
Im not talking about a good game. Im talking about a fun game. Ya they won woopy. These kinds of games games I dont care if I win or lose. I was asking if the survivors in these high rank swf groups actually have fun. when the game ends in like 4 minuts and they just know everything im doing at all times. Just sounds boring to me.
-
@KlapzCheeks said:
those games i just sit in the corner and give them no interaction so they depip.
I mean I give it my best effort but I know its useless. Im usually into the games but on these rare occasions when I vs a super death squad im like whatever dont care if I win or lose.

Yup yup one of the many fine "features" of the game. Happens very rarely to me in both roles. Another related one is a missing skill check indicator for survs. Good luck with that one against a Doc.
I was playing as killer and I had absolutely no idea what was going on lol

Stealthy Boi

Jump Scare Myers
-
Myers- Ruin, BBQ, Sloppy, Corrupt........scratched mirror- Ruin, Corrupt, Sloppy, Thanana
Ghostface- Ruin, Corrupt, Sloppy and something Random
Piggy- Ruin, Corrupt, Brutal, something random

This happened to me on the farm yesterday. Killed two and the last two just hid forever. After searching everywhere I just stood on top of one of the hills and just watched closely for any movement and finally I saw some scratch marks in the distance and got them.
