No matter, my tongue is very dexterous and lengthy. I will be able to accomplish the lick before the stun runs out, irregardless of the trap.

Fare warning, do not underestimate my powers of blending. One day, you may just walk upon a bush that moistens your glorious snoot, only to realize it wasn't a bush, but then it would have been too late. Muahahahahaha.

From now on every game i am going to be paranoid of bushes.......thanks

Survivors are not allowed to use DS, unbreakable, OoO etc

but I AM allowed to use insta downs, moris, every single strong perk possible and the reasoning is "im the power role"

so you tell me.. ME who has to deal with

    -potatoe teammates

    -Dedicated servers, hitboxes, bloodlust

-unsafe pallets in every corner, dead ends

-insta downs, moris, strong killer perks

even tho i need to deal with more things then you can imagine its a a.s*ole move when i bring strong perks?

BUT "survivor playing is so easy LMAO TROLOLOL"

yeah its very easy especially when you get dedi hits in every corner. go play soloQ with potatoes and lets meet again.

you dont want people to complain about your noed and mori then you also shouldnt complain about some solo survivors bring some perks to survive longer because they dont wanna get tunneled at the beginning of the match.

You may bring any perks you like against me and my piggy we do not discriminate. I will not bring noed or mori with me. This is how i play. ...most survivor perks are predictable they dont really bother me. Sure some instances they get annoying....i think the only survivor perk that pisses me off is sprint burst lol

Well then, I will have to equip DS for the first time, lure you to pick me up, stun you for 5 seconds and lick your glorious snoot. My death would be worth it.

Haha joke is on you...i am the rare piggy who gladly eats ds for lunch! I will pick you up eat that ds and if u touch my snoot i will have to keep putting traps on your head.

You can be a nice piggy and let me boop the snoot and then penetrate my body with your blade.

I refuse as my snoot is sacred to me. And you will still get the blade. And ima throw in a head trap just for trying to touch my snoot.

I’m finding that lots of people don’t know what meme-ing is. I try to Boop the Snoot so many times and just get violated by Piggy’s blade with no time to react.

Just today, I tried playing with a Death Slinger. I stood behind a window and crouched, when he approached, I stood up then crouched again, hoping he’d get the hint that I want him to target practice on me. He accused me of t-bagging in the end game chat. I was so sad.

I am a pig main and I do not play boop the snoot you will in fact get the blade. I actually rarely ever get anybody to try it though.

  • @Jallybwan said:

The main issue with Pig's ambush is that you can simply run away. Sure, you can theoretically predict it and uncrouch, but this relies on there not being another tile even remotely close by. It's also just not as fun as landing a dash. So why not just let Pig crouch instantly, like Ghostface? It wouldn't make her broken in the slightest, and it means you wouldn't have to change her dash itself, since that's fine as is.

Her uncrouch could even stay the same, it's just her slow crouch that gives a bit too much time for the survivor to just leave the tile.

(And before I get a specific someone saying Pig is A tier because lol stats, just realize that logic matters more than stats in a game like DBD. There are too many variables to consider, and that makes applying any sort of pure-numbers system to this game less than ideal.)

Im a pig main and I rarely use her crouch and I never use her dash and I wreck teams with her.

This is just uncanny to me, the fact that she has a higher kill rate than FRICKING SPIRIT is weird.

    Pig is AWSOME!

At red ranks, not very many. Forcing trap kills and using Ambush more than an extremely rare mindgame or opening hit hurts Pig far, far and away more than it helps.

Pig shines in being versatile with perks. You can just eat pallets, you can run all hexes, you can run a standard stalling build--they're all equally as effective. Hexes are potentially very good with her, since survivors will usually need to prioritize traps over dealing with them.

Im a pig main at red ranks and what i do is use my traps for some breathing room and i am rarely stealthy with her. I use double gears to buy myself time.

  • @IronWill said:

From experience I can tell why. Legit 99% of all Pig players I face play the same. They will down someone, put on trap and hook and then they will either directly tunnel that person off hook or simply camp the boxes.

The RNG part of the masks neds to go, same as her ability to see the boxes. Freddy can't see his "boxes" either so why can she? After "fixing" those 2 issues, give her some buff but atm she is just as annoying to face as Hag imho.

Im a pig main and i do not camp or tunnel. I do not camp boxes. I look at the traps as giving me breathing room. I dont gotta worry about that guy for a little and i can go look for sombody else. Pig is awsome...i also dont usually play stealthy with her.

Im a pig main and i think she is the best killer. The traps help so much. Im a red rank with her and i usually get a 3-4 k with her. I use double gears and slows the game down so much. I dont shoot for head pops but i usually manage one.

  • @PokemonGOPlayer said:

Hi everyone on the forums, I am here to bring you an analysis on the most idiotic Killer in this game: Pig.

Pig has every tool she needs to make the Survivors' experiences miserable without any drawback whatsoever. She is so oppressive that even after all those nerfs Pig mains have whined about she still had a 70% (!!!) Kill rate in Red Ranks ( https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/106566/ ).

Pig has little to no counterplay in the hands of the Survivors, she has to make the mistakes, Survivors are merely spectators of a slaughter. Here's my suggestion on how to change every single problem she has currently.

    Reverse Bear Traps (RBTs):

The Reverse Bear Trap is the most RNG-heavy disgusting thing in this game at the moment. All she needs is to down you, press M2 and that's it. You are now constantly zoned and threatened without any other input from the Killer side.

RBTs could kill you on the spot, they allow the Killer to PATROL BOXES in order to gain an unfair psychological advantage on the victim, they are completely random so you don't even know where to go but the most annoying thing is that they PUNISH Survivors for doing their objective.

    Solution:

RBTs now activate when the Survivor wearing them cleanses a Totem. That way Pig is now stronger on Hex builds and Survivors can play their objective.

RBTs are always disabled by the farest boxes from the Survivors, like Freddy's clocks. That way they will not be such RNG idiocy.

RBTs timer changed to 360s. This way they will be a true delay mechanic and not a random kill thing that completely ruins the game for the Survivor.

    Crouching:

Pig's crouching ability is easily the best stealth mechanic in the game currently. It's a mindgame tool, it's a dash, it's a counter to Borrowed Time, a must have perk nowadays.

Amanda has so many different options with this mechanic that there's no way for the Survivor to play around them all, negating counterplay.

First off, the biggest offender: when crouched, Pig looks like a Survivor. The lack of red stain, the size, the speed alter the way you, as a Survivor, are supposed to look at the game.

Secondly, since the Terror Radius closes on Pig and does NOT disappear instantly, she can use it to make someone think she left, the feeling is entirely different and there's no way for a Survivor to grasp what's going on with precision.

Last but not least, the dash. This is so unfair, how is she allowed to move at 6.9 m/s for 2.5s? How is a Survivor supposed to dodge that? Where is the counterplay? The only way out is to hope the Pig messes up, not reaching you because she miscalculated distances.

Side note on how the Undetectable aspect allows her to proxy camp better than any Killer bar Deathslinger, the second best Stealth Killer in the game.

    Solution:

Crouching now takes 2s (up from 1.3s). This minor change will make sense with the next ones.

When crouched she is not Undetectable but she has a small 18m Terror Radius and the red stain. This give Survivors counterplay with Borrowed Time and Pig can no longer disguise as a Survivor.

During the dash she now moves at 4.8 m/s for 2s. This way there will be counterplay to it.

    Add-Ons:

Most of her Add-Ons are nuts and make her even more insufferable from the other side point of view.

Combat Straps is the most oppressive one, allowing her to crouch way faster and permitting an even quicker Dash, especially combined with the next add-on I'm about to talk about.

Video Tape does a little bit too much on an already good aspect of the Killer and needs to be addressed. Change it so it does something else, something completely different.

Face Mask counters all aura reading Perks and items, a bit too much for a single add-on, no counterplay, no way to play around it, just suck it up and play without your stuff untill you remove the RBT, extremely oppressive.

Slow-Release Toxin has a similar problem but Exhaustion is so much more than Blindness, every Exhaustion add-on is broken but this one is total insanity, Exhaustion for around one minute after getting unhooked? You are supposed to recover from Exhaustion when hooked, this add-on doesn't make any sense at all.

Tampered timer is basically a free mori in disguise, obviously broken, I don't need to talk about it, Scorpionz proved it for me.

And that's it. That concludes my analysis. I hope you liked it :)

I would also like the roar to be changed to the Metro Golden Mayer one so that even new player can recognize it and know what's up ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrLyllumxts ).

I have been playing nothing but pig and let me tell you that most people can get the traps off easily. Its literally just used to buy some time. I rarely even use the crouch. Only add ons I use for her are the gears and the timer. Sometimes a head will pop but its not often.

  • You get used to those perks after awhile. I used to hate them also. I just eat the DS it doesn't bother me anymore. Borrowed time hit the unhooker and you will be fine. Now I will say these perks are bs during end game cause there is absolutely nothing you can do and they can just walk out with no worries. The one perk that annoys me now is sprint burst cause they are right in front of you and then poof a mile away.

  • @I_Am_Goblin_Boy said:

There a lot of balance issues in this game, not just with pure power and strength, but with fun. I know a lot of people are sweaty tryhards who just want to get to rank 1, but there a lot of players, particularly survivor players, who just want to have fun. It is possible to make killers who are both fun to play, fun to play against, and capable of getting 4Ks if played correctly. However, there are too many killers that are either unfun to VS, unfun to play, too strong, or far too weak.

So I've decided to rank all the current killers based on how fun they are to play against. The higher ranked they are, the more fun they are to play against.

Keep in mind, this is my personal opinion. If you disagree for any reason, let me know, but be respectful. Also keep in mind that this is how fun they are to VS, not how good or bad they are as killers.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/W80SKJSXCMY7/my-image-281-29.png

Nurse: Probably an unpopular opinion, but I actually have a lot of fun going against nurses, both bad ones and good ones. The only time she's actually unfun to play against is if she has the 4.2 movement speed addon.

Deathslinger: He's pretty fun. Not only that, but IMO, he's not too strong or weak of a killer.

Huntress: I enjoy going against huntress, though it is fairly map dependent. Dodging her hatchets is extremely fun and makes me feel like I'm actually good at the game. The only time I absolutely hate the Huntress, is when she brings iri heads.

Clown: Clown is a fairly weak killer, but that's not the only reason he's fun to VS. Red Head's Pinky Finger is BS though.

GF, Shape, and Pig: What can I say, I like going against stealth killers. They keep you on your toes and make the game actually scary. None of them are too strong though, with the exception of Myers with certain addons.

Oni: Poor man's Billy with some tracking ability. Dodging his fury attacks is pretty rewarding and fun.

Demo: He's fun to play and fun to play against.

Trapper, Hag, and Billy: All kind of average. Not too fun but not terribly unfun either IMO. Hag is kind of scary though, which I like. They're also all fairly balanced.

Legion: I don't think that Legion is terribly good or anything, but he is both boring to play and boring to play against.

PH: I like the changes they made to his cages, but I'd rather things like DS and BT activate on a cage and he be able to see the auras, rather than the changes he got. Plus, he completely cancels out all good survivor gameplay and looping by being able to hit people through walls with barely any penalty.

Plague: There's no real counterplay to plague. Either you don't cleanse and stay injured the whole match, or you do cleanse and she gets corrupt. Or you don't cleanse and she gets corrupt anyways.

    Wraith: No comment.

Leatherface: I know he's basically a poor man's billy, but I've never met a single cannibal who didn't facecamp and tunnel and be toxic in post-game chat. Nothing against the killer himself, but rather the people who play him.

    Nightmare: Gross

Doctor: Also gross. The only real counter to doctor is Calm Spirit, but who's just gonna be out here running Calm Spirit on the off chance they VS a doctor.

Spirit: Disgusting angry sewage girl who sounds like a crunchy and upset minecraft villager.

I have a blast playing pallet Freddy.

  • @ToxicMyers said:

Seriously with all these op survivor perks you literally can't anything about people being unhooked. Oh you chased someone after they were healing nearby, DS. You were patrolling a nearby gen, BT. Literally the reason this game has a camping issue is that you have so many perks that are meant for use after getting unhooked, so why let them off the hook in the first place? Also the old "just go after the one who unhooked" how am I supposed to know who saved them without seeing them which proves that statement in of itself promotes camping. Also the fundamentals of the game need an adjustment. The fact there is one objective supports the play of gen rushing. Also another thing i see when people talk about gen rush, "just use (DLC perk) or (DLC perk)" The fact you need to buy something in order to stand a chance is total (BAD WORD). It's pay to win in that case. No better than other game's that thrive on microtransactions like Madden for example. This game needs fixing because at the state it's in it's either pay to win or lose. Also using anti-gen rush perks don't slow down gen rushers at all.

Im a rank one killer main and the only perk that makes me angry is sprint burst. You find them and then all of a sudden they are a mile away....ds and borrowed time are ok during the game they don't bother me to much. I just eat the DS and try to ignore the unhooked if I can . But they are bs at end game when there is absolutely nothing you can do about it and they can just walk out.

Hello fellow fog runners. I've come to a conclusion that makes me sad.. people just don't get it. Or maybe its ME that doesn't get it.. I'll explain..

I play survivor and killer mostly equally, but prefer killer. I am a huge fan of the original Texas chainsaw massacre for over 20 years so obviously main Leatherface.

After 3 years of playing, I've come to a point where literally 90 percent of my matches I find myself finding a corner to stand in so survivors can get some points so the match feels worthwhile to them.

In response to the hate mssgs I received when the game was new to me, I've learned what not to do (tunnel, camp, plank ppl for no reason, etc.) Playing survivor helped me also as I never do as killer what I hate being done to me as survivor.

This is my point I guess, I can come out of a match with 60-100k on average without actually killing anyone (I run BBQ, discordance, gearhead, and beast of prey.) And I feel good that everyone got a lot of points and had fun. I like playing games w survivors to make it interesting and have got nothing but good feedback from matches in the last couple years..

So question.. am I the only one that gets it? Cuz I'm sick to my stomach with the way killers play/act. It's attrocious the things ppl do "because they can"

Wake up killers, your not only hurting your own score by playing with no concience, keep in mind that NOBODY likes getting 3k points a match. It doesn't make you good friend, and karma will get you.

    See you in the fog.

Currently as it is, NOED is too powerful and game-changing on it's own and literally takes an entire team to look for dull totems instead of doing objectives or alternatively taking perks such as Small Game. Changing it to a Hex Totem or reworking NOED to function in a different manner would be beneficial. I play Killer and Survivor equally and I believe it's bs.

Please suggest ideas ITT how to change or balance NOED.

You get like one down with noed then it gets clensed. It is useless

  • @BubbaMain64 said:

I just don't see how come we nerf the most balanced killer in the game, yet let the strongest and most brain-dead ones still thrive? Spirit has no legitimate counter other than hope that they're bad and Freddy can just spam snares to ensure a kill regardlessly. Pair that with the broken swing animation so you can't accurately judge the distance between you two. Why? These are the ones in need of a legitimate nerf but nope I guess we should just nerf Billy. Lets nerf Legion one more time while we're at it too. Maybe Pig also.

I don even like using snares when I play as Freddy. I feel like it does nothing. I love using pallet Freddy now thats fun.

Are you playing on PC or Console? My literally every game has swf teams, sometimes its 2 random 2 swf or 3 swf 1 random but there is always a swf.My play style is no mori + brown addons or no addons and it is really frustrating against swf red ranks. They all have same perks let me tell you, Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Sprint Boost and definitely Adrenaline. There is 1 dwight with full set perks also all time and gens are done quicker than standard time.It just makes you to bring green&red addons or mori.If survivors can put all of their strongest perks and tool boxes why shouldn't we?

I play on console. I don't get the crazy swf swat teams all the time. Once in awhile I do get them. Not much you can do but play how you play sometimes I do great against them sometimes they all just escape . One thing I have been noticing is that gens are flying. Had a game against a swf team the other day and it felt as tho every single gen was being worked on. Everytime I go to one nobody was there and just pop, pop and pop. Managed to somehow get them in the end game by hooking two and slugging one and the last one got away. But I was convinced i was not gonna win that.

  • Red rank Killer here.was rank 1 but currently 2. I have been vs not many swf teams. I get them but not often. Also I have been noticing a lot of purple ranks in my games lately. and my Que times are pretty fast.

While I'm still going to put the time in to get good with her I'm curious as to what you guys think about her.

When I first used the pig I thaught she was trash. But lately she has been one of my main killers. The traps are a nice time waster. I have been very dominant with her.

But yesterday I had a game where like every gen was touched and when I went to it nobody was there and they just kept popping left and right. Just every gen was going it was like I was vs 7 survivors lol.....I managed to hook two at the end game tho and knock the unhooked down and one got away. But I was sure I was gonna lose that game.

Nothing wrong with tunneling at all.

I get that “Salty Messages” is a thing. I kinda find it funny when I get some simply because they make me laugh. I got this message after a chill game with bubba. I chased a feng around in Macmillan Estate. She was able to drop a pallet on me then T-Bagged like a crazy person. T-bagging doesn’t bother me a whole lot, but in this case I figured “ok sure bud” so I hooked her. It also happened that someone saved her the second I was leaving so I quickly downed her again then downed other. Hooked the one who saved feng then morid feng. I like to “punish” the ones who think they’re cool and they’re the ones who usually send messages to me, probably cause their DS is useless or they’re out of the game. How do you guys deal with them? If you do anything at all, Or how would you go against them if you were on the other side? If that makes sense

    Punish them all!!!

  • @CyanideBlaze said:

Idk, I am by no means a pro and I've only really started playing about three months ago but I don't get why you are so angry with survivors waiting to unhook each other.

Like... you seem really insulted by it, when I don't think it's all that personal. If you hook someone and turn and there's another person there, you just chase 'em. If there's a group, you pick one n chase that one. If one t-bags, that's the one you pick and hope to god they don't know how to loop. That's all that really happens when survivors camp hooks.

On the other hand, if a killer camps a hook, that's one survivor who can no longer play the game. Additionally, you're punishing a survivor on the hook for the actions of another survivor (who is likely trying to meet an unhook goal or farm that survivor you just hooked), and that's not very fair.

I don't know why you're surprised people don't like you, it sounds like you waste everyone's time ingame being petty for perceived slights.

In the scenario he gave its the survivors faults for all standing around by the hook. like Ill take the free kill and just stand there too if nobody is doing gens why do i care.

In all seriousness it's the curse of Hex perks. When they work they're really good. When they don't it's rough. The newer maps are better at hiding them though.

Its just the luck of the draw, sometimes it spawns next to you, or next to them, or behind some tree in the corner of the map away from everyone. There isn't anything that influences where hexes spawn besides standard totem placement

If you want ruin to stay up more, perhaps couple it Hex: Thrill of the hunt, so you know when a survivor is working on the totem, and it takes longer to cleanse

He seems to be completely unhittable, even if he gets near the edge. Doesn't make sense to me. So now if I walk around to the other side and vault,he's gone. Trust me, because that's what I did. Is this thing intentionally supposed to be like that? I usually don't lose my cool. It wasn't just this thing. Just kinda wanted to vent and see what people's experience has been for the event. You guys having fun? I'm trying to get a crown on all the characters. This was as Wraith...I'm definitely no Tru3,lol.

I hate that spot on the farm match with a passion. why is that landing there? Just let them fall to the ground when they jump over.

Today I wanted to prestige clown but I had some puddings left. So I wanted to use them up first. Guess what. 6 times in a row farm map. I'm so sick of it.

I here you. It used to be nothing but farm and Autohaven for me but now it's literally only Autohaven I cannot stand that map anymore.

We all have at least one map we absolutly hate to play on. So I thought, what if everyone would be able to exclude one map to be spawned on (unless a map offering is used).

So in a whole lobby they are max 5 maps excluded to be picked by pure rng (unless map offerings are used).

As survivor I would exclude shelter woods for example and as Hillbilly Lerry's and as long noone is using a offering for one of these maps I will never play on it until I change the map to exclude.

I think everyone would have a better time in dbd with it

I would love this since I get the same damn maps every game Autohaven! Autohaven! And more Autohaven im so sick if playing it....I was in total shock I got Lerys two games in a row today haven't been on that map in weeks.

Reworking on my freddy since im having some problems. Right now im running bbq pgtw (for obvious reasons) devour and brutal strength. I mean it works pretty well hook a survivor tp away to kick a gen they get unhooked i get a devour stack. And brutal to break pallets/walls faster.Any suggestions?

My Freddy build always seems to get the job done. Ruin, surveillance, nurses, and save the best. I also like to use dream pallets and not snares...it's so funny getting those free hits.

It makes me sad to see Plague so high up on this list because I recently bought her and I've been performing horribly and now I just feel bad at the game. :D

I can agree with Deathslinger though, I've been performing very well with him despite pretty much every post I've ever read saying he's not that good. Performing "very well" means I somehow managed to beat a rank 1 SWF with him. Ofc they called me a camper afterwards. :)

Ya I just got her as well and like I get destroyed when I use her. Im a pretty good killer also but for some reason when I use her even when I have good games they all escape or 3 lol

There's no reason to Tunnel. Unlike generators, Killers don't have their progress regressed. You don't have to keep hooking the same person consecutively to retain your progress. Whereas survivors have to protect and commit to generators because their investment can be regressed. PGTW it's a great perk for that purpose.

Ummm get person out of game faster??????

Yep. Part of the reason with this update(Which I bought whole chapter package for), I also purchased full Saw and Darkness chapters for their maps.

Oh look started playing again first map I get Autohaven 😑

Lmao then you are also here to ask for spine chill nerfs, you don't need to moonwalk to every gen, you can also crab walk just like how the op said, you can see (if you have eyes) if crows fly away, you can hear survivors breath as well if they are there

I would not be opposed to a spine chill nerf.
