Im so confused with posts like this. shouldn't the game be killer sided? In what world would the survivors be equal to the killer lol. The fun is trying to escape the op killer hiding and running......Not going face first at the killer taunting him and tea bagging him. You should be afraid of the killer and not want to be anywhere near them.

You need to do wide turns and don't move your analog stick forward. It slows you down. You should only move by strafing left and right. After that you just need muscle memory.
Ps4 oni main here lol
Thanks, I usually pick up on new killers fast but that Oni made me look like a newbie. Probably one of the worst games ive had lol

leave someone alone for 60 seconds. its not that ######### hard.
Why do you need to leave sombody alone for 60 seconds. That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. If I see you in going for you. My objective is to kill you. Lol leave me alone for 60 seconds

Not doable. The killer can just camp and hold the game hostage. And despite not camping or holding the game hostage, I and others already get accused of that.
Takes survivors seconds to open the gate and if it's opened and if you haven't been hit yet there is nothing the killer can do to you. There is the hatch. Two gates is so annoying
-
Why not just have one exit gate?
-
I could care less what you were in game. Its how you play that will put the target on your back. If your just messing with me the whole game Im literally only going to go after you. Cosmetics do nothing for me.
-
when survivors do annoying stuff to me like following me around flash lighting me or taunting I just forget the game and just go after them until I get them dead then problem solved.

Maybe because the Crotus Penn (maybe except Father Campbell's Chapel) maps are actually good. The only complaint is the horrendous totem locations, but that's for topics regarding totems.
Only maps I see hate for are:
Autohaven Wreckers
- Map design is ridiculously bad, especially all the jungle gym locations being mostly on a small portion of the map.
Yamaoka Estate Maps
- Too dark apparently?
Léry's Memorial Institute
(Someone actually give me a valid reason people don't like this map aside from stealth killer advantages, unless THAT'S the issue)
Dead Dawg Saloon
- The community is pretty mixed with this map, given that the map looks incredible, but it's undeniable that it is the smallest map in the entire game.
Auto Haven is not the best map but its not the worst either. I dont get to excited when I end up with this map.
Yamaoka estate is the absolute worst map in the game I hate this map.
Lerys Im starting to hate getting this map. When you vs really good survivors on this map its just hard to catch them. so many windows then a pallet then a window then a pallet. When you vs not godly survivors on the map its ok.
Dead dawg only played 3 times and its ok from what I played.
-
Im a killer main and I actually do really well on this map
-
Myers
-
This happened last night...I was on Ormond and I was the pig with Iron Maiden ....these survivors kept going in and out of lockers like non stop and when I get there they are gone lol I leave and it keeps happening over and over again. In and out in and out ...was driving me crazy. Lol
-
I got to Play Macmillon Estate 5 games in a row yesterday so Idk lol
-
Yamaoka Estate.......No other map makes me cringe as much as this one.

Well how come you even think about playing the game how you're supposed to? If you're a killer that doesn't help them do generators and let them all escape, preferably with a new item from the trial, then you're a toxic noob piece of ######### killer that camps and tunnels and gets reported.
I play both sides and I have NEVER had gotten one bad message from a killer or sent one out to a killer. It's always the salty survivors that start harassing people and it doesn't matter if they escape or die.
Thats true, I had a game last night It was a one off enjoyable match that that doesnt happen often. I think everyone was on there last hook. I made some mistakes toward the end and they all escaped but I thought it was a good fun game. But then I get the message......trashcan lol
-
last night this guy was messing with me the enire game. I didnt even care about the game anymore just wanted him hooked.....got him hooked......he gets unhooked stands still. so I hit him and he gets his little invincibility. Runs to the exit gate. I knock him and grab him but wait he just breaks free lol.... That game pissed me off. Was having good games before that tho. Its just stupid.
-
Like .....if your by me bruh im gonna go after you

Survivor: When a killer slugs the 3rd survivor without knowing where the fourth survivor is.
Killer: When I get hit with a DS within the exit gates, to me the survivor is saying, "Hey man thanks for not tunneling all game, but you really should have because I get an easy escape now"
Im a killer main and that pisses me off so much. like cool ill just follow you to the exit gate and watch you run off with no worry.
-
I don't mind vs the red rank survivors my only issue is when I do all the gens pop in like one minute.
-
Im a killer main and I dislike with a passion Yamaoka Estate and I like meat plant.
-
Myers is my main and I have never used Ruin with him. Every game is different but i do alright with him.

The concept: survivors still complete gens as normal but now they need gas to keep and maintain the generator power, or else the gens power down.
How it would work (in theory, wip): Gens that are completed slowly start to lose gasoline over a course of 180 seconds. If a gen loses all of its gas, it powers down and survivors must complete it again. If a survivor is hooked within 24 meters of a gen losing power, the time to power down is extended by half. Survivors must find gas cans located throughout the map and bring them back to a gen. It takes 16 seconds to refill the gen to full by one survivor max.
Gas cans would either respawn in another location on a cool down of 160 seconds OR survivors can syphon gas from vehicles and gas stations over 32 seconds (with skill checks) for a full can. Gas cans replace other items, and if a survivor is hit while carrying a gas can, they automatically drop the can. This would be to prevent survivors from just carting cans to gens for easy access.
Killers can sabotage gens by kicking them again and forcing survivors to repair the gen for 4 seconds to stop the gens from bleeding out gas at a slightly faster rate. Brutal Strength would be buffed to make the regression rate faster. Technician would also be buffed by making maintaining the gens faster.
So anyway...it was just an idea.
I think your idea is a little harsh. I had an idea for a second objective were the survivors have to find parts for generators. Nothing to crazy just a few parts scattered around the map in order to start working on a gen.
-
Slugged a whole team last night at end game....only two hooks by me so two got the hooks and the other two had to be slugs cause I'm not risking them getting up after I pick them up.

I have to ask if anyone has had this problem. Here is an example of hatch campers and a situation I had. I put the killer on a chase for about almost 2 minutes and left a gen almost done. Instead of the other survivor finishing it she hid in a locker next to the gen so once I died she could jump in the hatch. I despise players like this who once the hatch spawns stop playing the game and just rub their scent and do all but scream "THIS IS MINE" and then go and hide in a locker until the entire team is dead. I mean i know and understand wanting to win but to stop playing and just wait for your team to die is a crappy move. It makes it even worst when you go to the results screen and see they did next to nothing to earn the right to escape. I know it really isnt about escaping and it is about getting blood points but it just stinks when people would rather camp the hatch then actually TRY AND GET OUT. I think the worst case was when there was 3 of us left and the 2 other players with me BOTH refused to leave the hatch hoping they would just be the last one left. Please other fellow survivors just because the hatch is there does not mean you should stop. Please keep playing and do not hurt your other fellow players chance of getting out, Sorry for the rant I guess.
I am a killer main and I hate this. I get the 2nd from last survivor down and the final guy is just hanging out by the hatch just hiding.

It is also not common. It rarely works out and wastes a lot of time.
Ya I was not expecting that so it caught me off guard and annoyed the hell out of me.

Yes, that too. It’s actually a lot of fun, but difficult to get much use out of. And it doesn’t help toward the goal of escaping.
Oh, one final note. Basement hooks can’t be sabotaged, so at the very least those will always be available and reliable.
This guy seemed to be doing it really quick and easy....only when I was carrying sombody to a hook. Poof hook drops right in front of my face.

... Someone wanna tell this guy when sabotaging was introduced to the game.
... Also how horrifying it was before they nerfed it.
I have literally never encountered this before lol

Exactly what you said.

As a killer, I NEVER kill the 2nd-to-last person if I don't know where the hatch is. If I'm lucky and I know the last two survivors won't be able to finish the gens, I will usually try and find the hatch while either chasing one of the two, or I'll knock down one of them and slug them until I find the hatch. It's all about timing and being careful. Most of the time, it goes in my favor but sometimes they just get lucky and find it. Sucks that you only get 250 points for closing it..
Its the exact opposite for me. Usually never goes in my favor at the end the last guy most of the time finds it before me.
-
Ya at a certain point I usually just end up hooking the downed survivor.
-
It's finding both .... because I know the last survivor is already around the hatch and I cannot find either lol
-
That part I know. Here is what most of my scenareos are. Two dead, one down and one roaming around. 1 gen left. As soon as the down guy dies. The guy left just wins. Cause he found the hatch before me and it's almost instant.
-
Ya if your not that good of a killer this gives you a better chance to actually do something without the gens going off one after another.
-
I only play Killer. I find it more fun.
-
I think it just balances its self out the gens do not go as quick and it will just be a lot more fun for both sides.
-
Ya I think It adds a much needed element and it also gives the survivors something else to do besides run straight to the gens and it give killer a better chance. I think its good on both ends and will fix the generators going to quick issue lots of people have.
