Nope, spine chill can be played around, if you think someone is there just moonwalk, it also helps people with stealthy killers like wraith, deathslinger, pig and ghostface

Lmao just moonwalk to every gen ya ok bud.

So ive been playing a lot lately and think its real unfair that survivors can remove perks from killers. Devour hope and ruin immediately spring to mind.

I hear the argument "But then theres no counter for it" but really? Survivors dont need as much as they have...i feel sorry for every killer i remove 1-3 hexes from as now they have basically no perks while we still have our full four.

Im sick of losing my perks AND having fun games. For both sides! As killer im nerfed i to the ground. As survivor the killer now is weaker and less fun to fight.

I dont Mind when my hex gets removed as thats the point to them. But to have my ruin go in 10 sec of the start of every game is ridiculous. That is what I have a problem with.

what do you think about it? not that i care, of course. i just want to laugh more. we're gonna play loads of matches with this build, its so fun!

I hate it!!! I vs this same exact build a few months back. The most annoying guys ever. Chase one off a gen another comes in his place. Go chase him off the other comes right back and so on and so on. Managed to kill two of them. But it was the sweatiest game ever.

I believe you man i also had days with lots of rainbow matches, but whenever i see a post like this showing just one match and a title like yours gives the impression that its always like this, wich its not true and its incridibly misleading.

Title is mostly a joke but ya majority of my games are against red ranks. But today was weird. Like that game for instance lasted like 4 minutes they didn't even do a gen. Trapper on Lerys.

I was playing survivor today, r1, and played against a dude it was literally his first game. I had to point out to him that he could break pallets then let him down me so he could figure out how to pick me up and hook me. Poor dude could barely figure out how to cloak and uncloak

I remember my first game I didn't understand the concept of the game and just kept hitting them on the hook thinking it would kill them lol

  • @MyersRulz said:

Yep another cherry picked match that happens one every ten matches.

I had one sweaty match today the rest looked like this....now granted not this crappy but still all Rainbow.

In dbd, killers have multiple strategies: they can mindgame or they can just camp and tunnel. Camping and tunneling are really unfun and there is no good argument for defending them. If your argument is "gens" or "its still possible to escape as a tunneled dude" or "killers have to deal with unfair stuff, to", then you better find something else, since I am gonna destroy all of these arguments in this post.

First of all, I need to explain why they are so bad. Camping and tunneling someone pretty much removes any chance of that person escaping.

"Yes but people can do gens, and then its a 2 man escape, which is balanced since 2k is what the balance of this game should be around". Yea, you are right, camping is balanced because of that. But there is another question here: the fun factor. If a game is not fun, then balance does not matter, people will not play it. Here is why it is unfun: first, if you are one of the 2 camped or tunneled survivors, you have pretty much no chance at escaping, which does not feel good. If you are one of the 2 people doing gens, then what fun is this? You are skipping the most fun and interactive part of the game, which is getting chased, to do the boring task of holding m1. So none of the survivors have fun, and fun is more important than balance, since it is what makes people play a game.

Then, we have the "it is possible to escape even while being camped or tunneled". Yes, I agree, it is possible to escape such a situation. However, you are at a massive disadvantage if this is the case. It does not feel ok at all to lose because of a big disadvantage that you do not have any control on. Its like saying "4 man swf it is still possible to win".

Finally, we have the "yea but killers have to deal with unfair stuff, tho". I am gonna reapply your logic so that you can understand that it is not that good. Imagine this scenario: they are 2 countries at war. Country 1 kills innocent people in country 2, so country 2 justifies killing innocent people from country 1 by saying that country 2 did the same. Now, I get that there is a difference between playing unfairly in dbd and killing real people, but this is the exact same argument, just on a much smaller scale.

So hopefully people start realizing that camping and tunneling are not fun. Hopefully they are fixed soon enough.

    Have a nice day.

Absolutely nothing Wrong with Tunneling at all.The point of killer is to well kill and If I see you I am going after you simple as that. If you camp You are probably not going to win the game. Unless they are all hovering around the hook then camp away.

  • Autohaven with the gas station idk why but I usually do bad on that map (im a killer).

I feel like my above change and make his fatigue time down to 3 seconds would make him quite solid.

Ya it's a nice fix. Would not mind that at all

  • @Blueberry said:

Most would agree Legion needs improvements and that Deep Wounds can be quite underwhelming.

What would ya'll think about if while afflicted by Deep Wounds survivors would be Oblivious?

The tick down is attached to movement and not TR anymore like in the past, so I simply see this as forcing a survivor to pick more carefully when they decide to Mend instead of basically Mending in your face which is what we get right now. Would allow for some potential mind games and more careful decision making on both sides.

Obviously this would also affect BT but that seems quite fine seeing as BT is already a top tier perk that is arguably too strong anyway.

Just wanting to hear some thoughts about this idea. Too strong, too weak, sounds interesting?

I think something needs to be added to legion but what idk.

  • @RayrafLPP said:

Hey Guys, I just had the worst match i have ever played.

This game is the perfect showcase for me what a 4 man SWF can do.

Info about me: Im a Killer main and I know how the game works for the most part. I know how to run tiles and I know to not commit to a chase that goes for ever.

However I never had a game like this before and I would like somne advive/tips for what I could have done better.

    Killer(me): Legion.

    Map: The game

So I started the game and got a bit unlucky with patroling. The survivors or at least three of them started at the same place and it was the last gen i had to patrol but it popped before I could get there.

happens sometimes nothing to cry about.

Then I actually see them and manage to hit 2 of them with my power. One of them gets chased of course.

Now heres the problem of this game for me:

They all knew exactly how to run tiles, where they were, where they have been before and how many loops they could run.

All of them had dead hard but they didnt got greedy with loops. so they looped 2-3 times around a pallet and then dropped it. If they miscalculated the distance for a loop they used dead hard.

Its not a problem if one person knows exactly how to run tiles, but this was a 4 man where there was no weakling involved.

They all went to the shack tile after there first pallet loop when they gained some distance and they left before dropping the shack pallet.

I broke like 12-14 pallets this game and the only hits I scored were due to my power. except for two:

two times I commited to a chase long enough/ or they made a mistake to actually have them exhausted and without a pallet.

Now both times another survivor was there and ran into my face, bodyblocking me so the other one could gain distance to reach the next pallet.

This was my first game where I didnt even got a down and I have no clue what I could have done better in this situation.

Sure, ill get the GIT GUD comments, but I really want to know how XD

I get that it would have been a different game with nurse for example ( im decent at her) or spirit ( shes busted) or freddy who can do something against looping.

BUT i played Legion. I could injure them but not down them.

What could I have done better with a weaker killer, without a mori, without noed, without spirit fury enduring combo?

just with normal perks that are not super strong.

I really tired to switch targets often, but after the first hit they were just too organised.

The Game is probably not a great map for legions power. But typically with legion I do well with just using the power and hurting who is close by and just follow up with the down after I cool down. Most the time I don't go out of my way for farther targets. I'll use frenzy to get to a location quick and hit whoever is there and just follow up don't leave them.

  • Myers is the way to go

  • My only thing I think should change with the hatch is I think it should appear when the 3rd person dies. usually with my games Im chasing the 3rd guy and by the time he is hooked the last guy is already at the hatch waiting.. If it could spawn later hen its an equal shot of either one of us finding it before the other and they also got the doors to go out of also.

  • It's like the only maps that exist are autohaven and coldwind farms for me.

  • @PigMainClaudette said:

Ok. So, the Pig places a trap on your head. The trap has to be on your head (or at least the animation has started) BEFORE the generator is completed to activate.

If a generator is completed at all, the timer activates. If so, you have 2:30 (or 2:00 if they're running the Tampered Timer add-on) to remove it or you die and are "sacrificed".

If a trap is placed after all the generators are completed or Endgame Collapse is triggered, the traps will not activate.

They will also appear inactive if you're dying, in a chase or on a hook.

If they're not activating at all, then that's a serious bug that needs to be looked at.

So if im interacting with sombody with a trap on right before a gen pops with it remain white on my screen and not red until I leave them alone?

  • @killde said:

I barely see people get fooled by them, once or twice and then never to be seen again falling for it.

I actually prefer the pallets to the snares to be honest. It's hilarious when they go for a pallet and I get that free but lol it works more than you think it would.

  • I really dont see any issue with tunneling. But usually whoever I see first I go for. If I have to choose between the injured or not injured survivor im going or the injured one.

  • @tiffanyq1 said:

It has happened to me a fair few times and other survivors in the same game as me. A survivor unhooking you right Infront of the killer as soon as you've been hooked. More often than not the killer will down me right away and hook me again and the same process will repeat meaning a quick game for me, and probably the others in that game. Do you as another survivor try to help, stay clear of them, DC, or even as killer do you go for the person who was hooked or the one unhooking?

I don't play much as killer myself, but when I do I will only down an already hooked survivor until I have booked someone different, I don't expect the same when playing survivor, just curious as to what others do.

I hit the unhooker and then depending on which one is easiest to get to at that point i will go after.

  • @PigMainClaudette said:

    *Realms.

Autohaven has different layouts such as Azarov's Resting Place with the I----I shape, and there's more traditional maps like the one with the gas station at the back.

Same goes for Coldwind Farm with maps like the Thompson House and Fractured Cowshed.

Even if you only get variations of those two realms it's still more than 2 maps.

Obviously but there still very very similar.

So I've playing a lot of Adiris lately and noticed either I'm just terrible with her or she needs some buffs or changes. My main issue is the fountains healing because one it take away points each time they cleanse which hurts your overall performance and two it kind of ruins the flow... I know most don't cleanse to not give her her power and stuff but it seems like they don't care. Most time they have walls to protect them and are very caution until it's over. Most games I'm just getting 0K or 1K and I really don't think it's me because I'm good with Huntress and other killers which are trash... I mean I use to play Clown and Leatherface because achievements and I wanted to get cosmetics for him. So do you guys agree? You think she's good? Bad? Reworked? Removed from game? Let me know. Also be nice to each other. Don't need a flame war here.

Ya I just started using her as well and im in the same boat as you one kill or everyone escapes.

Obviously I don't have the stats to back it up, but I could swear that I get a farm map about half the time, and one of the other maps the other half. Looking at the map list on the wiki I realize that there are 5 different farm maps (along with 5 different junkyard maps and 5 different mcmillan maps) whereas most of the other regions only have 1 or 2 maps, so I guess that's part of it, but it seems like I get farm a lot more than either mcmillan or junkyard, and statistically I should only be getting farm about 1/7 of the time but it seems like a lot more. Maybe it's just because I hate farm so much I notice it more. :)

Yup I get farm like almost every game.

It’s frustrating & causes so much inconvenience for me in-game. How long is this gonna go on? I’m a console player who’s been playing since day 1 of release & it still feels like nothing has changed.

Ya I have been having issues since this latest patch. I play killer and feels like im walking through mud and my character is doing random little teleporting movements. Like I don't even know how describe what is happening but it's like not playable.

  • @TrialByFire476 said:

I know this post is a few months old, but I've been experiencing this same thing, too. It's worse when I play killer because it causes me to lose so much time in a chase. My problems are exactly the same ones you've described.

I play killer and since the update I have been experiencing weird stuff. Like it feels choppy like I can barley move and my hit animation feels really slow. I'll somehow just be walking then magically am running into a wall. Just now I mind gamed somebody jumping over a pallet he's right in front of me and somehow i cant hit him and he just goes right back over.

  • Noed is the easiest thing to counter. every time i run it its gone after one down. So i stopped using it cause its kinda useless most of the time.

  • @batax90 said:

Yeah right now the game feel weird i had a game where i hit someone before he jump the window and when he fell he was right behind me this never happen before the update and now it happen all the time that or i got pallet stun but i can break the pallet before the stun happen

Ya I hear you. I downed somebody at the beginning of the exit and he magically teleported to he end and went through .

This is mainly just Billy atm or?

It's every killer I play as. I don't use Billy at all. I believe I used Myers and Legion yesterday. It's not unplayable just something feels off.

  • I kind of just started using Freddy and I like the dream pallets way better than the snares. Its so funny watching survivors run to a pallet and free hit lol

  • @Dwigtht said:

NOED now is the most annoying perk. I have played killer with NOED and in some cases, you could get 4k by literally not doing anything during the main match and slug survs during endgame.

As a survivor I am often running Small Game and cleansing 3 - 4 dull totems on average, but on some maps some totems are really difficult to find and cleanse.

but this is not enough in most cases. And on the large maps it is too difficult to find NOED tot during endgame.

I would like to request to keep NOED as a HEX totem, but make it visible during the main match as the other totems, like ruin or devour hope.

So that, survivors will be able to spot and cleanse noed totem during the match.

    Make NOED like Devour Hope.

In the after match chat I see a lot how survs call killer "trash", "weak killer" and so on for NOED,

but I have never seen any trash talk regarding Devour Hope. If survivors have not find that bright totem during the match -- this is totally their fault.

So, making NOED totem visible and highlighted during the main math would also fix this social issue.

P.S.: My favorite meme with NOED is Nurse with Insidious, NOED and Warden staying on the other side of the gates entire match  and waiting the gates to open. Then hit and hook first surv who opens the gate and active blood warden.

After that, slug and hook everyone else.

I am bad at playing Nurse and I literally do not do anything during the match and can get 1k - 4k during the end game.

Dude most of the time You can get like one hook with it before somebody does the totem. There is nothing wrong with the perk as it is. Easy to counter. If you get caught and ended up not doing the totems then that is on you.

  • Clowns feels so long

  • @BabyCameron10 said:

I am very surprised how the devs really haven’t gave survivors something else to do to escape. 5 very easy gens and open the exit gate, that’s it! Killers need to hook each survivor 3 times. Playing survivor is so easy and laid back however when playing killer it can be very frustrating. When I play killer I try not to slug but the way the game is, it is pushing me to play very #########. I want to have fun playing killer and I want the survivors to have fun too but damn they need something else to do. I can’t play Michael, Hag or Trapper because their power is very weak at first and require more time in the beginning to set up. This can also be frustrating to new players since they have no perks to slow the game down at all, leading them to quit the game.

Speaking of new players, camping and tunneling can be frustrating too. For veteran players, they mostly have perks to counter this type of play style but for new comers, they don’t know what to do or how to counter it. I would suggest for the tutorial for both killer and survivor to suggest perks for new comers and for killers maybe say something to go after other people and suggest perk from other killer to help slow the game down (just a little bit). When I began to play this game back in 2018, all you would see are camping wraith and trappers. I would love to see more new perks for everybody that would somewhat help with this, sorta the perks that are by default when leveling up characters.

I have suggested before that survivors have to find like parts or something before they start the gens.

Lmao... a lot of my games end this way.. cause I know their dumb asses will double back.. specialy if they are swf... then when they all die for it I get toxic ass msgs. Like why? YOU HAD THE WIN.

Is it so they can come on the forums and complain how op killer is? Or make face camping post.

You ether were at endgame and the killer now has no choice or you're a tbagging jackass and deserve it

Not our fault you wanna make this game Hero simulator

yup I got the toxic message after the game. No skill camping #%&@ lol Like dude common Im not getting roped into a chase thats going to lead to your freedom and then you all escape. This allowed me to get my 2 kills in lol You guys left me no choice

  • I camped the hell out of some guy yesterday. They decided to open the gate as im hooking him so I got nothing better to do now then to stare at you and get the kill.

  • The only issue with Mori is the frequency they appear in the bloodweb. I get 1 sometimes two in most of my bloodwebs. They should be a super rare thing. I rarely ever get the green one though.

  • Ive been trying to go through most of the killers lately. But my first main was Wraith and Myers.

  • seriously just add another objective like finding parts or something

  • I only play killer and in my opinion mori is not the problem. Its how often they show up in the blood web. They should be super rare to find. But I see like one sometimes two red ones per bloodweb. whats funny is I rarely see the green ones.

  • @Dccrasher said:

Killers are too OP right now as it is, so giving them an ability that 1 shots survivors is so BULLSHIT. Hell, remove any and all perks / abilities that give killers the 1 shot ability.

You just gotta do totums and noed magically goes away.

  • If survivors are still tea bagging and comfortable getting close to the killer and trying to play around with him. Then no the killer is not OP

  • I dont Think anything is wrong with Mori. I think the frequency they spawn in the blood web is the problem. They should be super rare but I find one or two red Mori per blood web. Its funny cause it seems like the green ones are super rare as I never get those.

I'm a rank 9 killer on ps4 and it's getting almost impossible to play anymore. Match making always puts me w rank 1-4 sWFs, and all they do is burn ######### map offerings and hold the game hostage on God loops. I walk away so they can just finish the gen and I can open the gate and start eg, but they refuse to do the last one and instead just hang out at god loops/windows and taunt me. I try and try, but there way too experienced w speed perks, sabotaging my hook before I can get to it, and just plain toxic. This isn't me whining and complaining, this is me asking for the patch to just drop already, so I can enjoy this game again somewhat. And before you say it's report able, I HAVE reported these a-holes repeatedly, but it seems nothing is ever done about it but a slap on the wrist.

I had a game the other day they were all spread out. Hit one, runs to god loop. Gen done, hit one runs to god loop another gen done. Im like whatever i just went and chilled in the basement and let them do their thing.

  • Im a killer main and the game is one of my favorite maps to play on. If you vs a really good team then maybe it could get annoying but I think it's a good killer map.

I am on the PTB right now, and all i can say is: Is this a little late april fools joke?? It has to be, right?

First game i play: Gas Heaven

There is 1 (ONE) single pallet on the whole middle of the map! One!

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/230/4H3MVCDIRVWD.jpg

The rest of it is a deadzone with absolutly nothing but here and there some trash!

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/101/KAWZ4X5O95AK.jpg

    1 Pallet in the garage

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/235/17S8ZEX379VI.jpg

1 more pallet between killershack and deadzone

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/673/KZ4WVS1QIRA6.jpg

4 Jungle Gyms with 1 pallet each

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/384/6O5O0ZJKTNHG.jpg

    And the Killer shack pallet.

8 pallets on the whole map. Are we good? I mean, ARE WE GOOD? I honestly have to ask without sarkasm. Have you forgot to add the pallets in those silly big deadzones and the silly big middle of the map (2 gens by the way... 1 pallet... )

This is even worse then i have expected, and i thought it will be aweful.

    2Nd Game: Gas Heaven again

This time i count 7 pallets! And most of them are even weaker then before.

    3rd Game: Thompson House

I am already really frustrated, so i stopped counting pallets but it looks like more or less the same ammount. All i can say at this point is that the map looks really really aweful, even worse then the old thompson house. It feels squeezed, not well designed at all.

I might try out a few more games after a break, but if this goes on like Thompson and Gas Heaven.. ahhm well... good luck with your next game devs. At least you know how you killed it.

How many pallets you want in a map?

  • @Sheriff_Menty said:

I see the patch notes are nerfing survivors so much. They keep saying “A good player can loop the killer in certain spots.” Can I just emphasize GOOD players? What about the new players? What about players who aren’t like the Pro players? Its harder for players like us, the non-pro players, to escape. Several of my friends agree the game is TOO killer oriented from killer being able to close hatch the moment it opens to Doc being able to take away everything the survivors can do. I can understand the closing of the hatch, but making it where it can’t be closed as soon as it opens or making it a perk with the same effect would make it easier for survivors. And about the Doc. He is way to OP. It’s impossible to escape since his shocks stun you so you can’t vault, and it makes it where you can’t use items at max madness 3. It’s ridiculous. His Static Blast ability is insanely OP as well. You can be right outside is terror radius and still be affected by it. A friend of mine mains Doc and agrees that he needs a nerf. The game has become too killer oriented. I personally think it should also be looked at from the non-pro player perspective, rather than just the pro. I don’t know who will agree or disagree, but it’s just my thought on the game. It’s a great game, I just think it needs to be looked over and adjusted. And to anyone who mentions rank, it doesn’t matter what your rank is. Someone could be rank 20 and be a god at a killer. Anyways, I hope anyone who reads has a great day.

The game should be killer sided. Why would you want survivors equal to or stronger than the killer that makes zero sense.

  • @Shocktober said:

Being immersed is actually the most boring thing in the world. The game should be about the chase. If survivors can only hide from the killer (who can easily find them through tracking perks anyways) I would leave.

Your right I meant to add in chase in there also. Ya nothing wrong with being able to run away and lose the killer.
