What exactly has a chase got to do with jt? When you've unhooked and done gens from the start ๐
Chase has a lot to do with it. If I'm on death hook and can't get a save that insures my safety and yours why would I save unless I knew you. It is not an excuse it is a smart play. It's a better option then just feeding the killer downs and hooks for possibly the same outcome or worse. I'm not saying every situation is the same. Yes there are times we're the teammate should have saved. You have to understand that you have a different perspective in the situation then they do. They don't necessarily know what is going on around your hook.
Also why would you message them about it. They left you. At most they would feel sorry they didn't save you. Are you looking for an apology? You are not going to get that in an online game.

They did their part in getting caught twice I saved them twice plus fixed most gens and they run off. ๐ if that's fair game play of allowing someone to put their neck out and leaving them behind.. carry on ๐
I mean it sounds like you never took chase long enough for it to matter. They might have been like this guy is just doing gens and now I'm on death hook since I took chase the whole match.
-
Bbq, distressing, corrupt, beast of prey. Never kick gens. No add-ons. =Chill game and hella bp.
-
You don't need add-ons or meta perks to get kills in red ranks for all killers.
-
I mean it all comes down to what is going on. It's somewhat better to get a 3 out then to greed a 4 out that results in a 2k. Also they might not be confident in themselves and teammates to get you out by body blocking. I know you said you were on midwich but sometimes you might be on a bigger map and go down across the map from the gates. If the killer is proximity camping and you and I are the only survivors left, you can almost guarantee I will leave. The likely hood of us both getting out even with BT is smaller depending on the map and lethality of the killer.
Also maybe they got chased the majority of the match and felt like they did there part. Or they are just new and want to get an escape. Who knows. I've done 5 gen chases only to get face camped with noed and have my team instantly leave. But it is what it is.

Second wind instead of windows. Trust me.

Minors (14-17) aren't allowed to play the game *wink wink nudge nudge.* Just a little caution.
It's a good thing some of the people who play are only 13 :P
-
I mean all the pallet drops I had today were fair. I think I only saw one pallet do that should have stunned but didn't today.
-
It depends when you are playing. If you are playing at night, Killer ques used to be instant but I believe that thanks to a few recent changes the ques have become better overall. There are more killers trying to play which is nice to see or there are fewer survivors playing which is sad.
Also survivor ques have shortened dramatically. No more 7+ min wait times during peak gaming hours.
-
P3 everyone to make the grind even longer because you know you want to. :P
-
Good thing there is egc for this. Also huntress hatchets hit when they are in that spot so I'm guessing deathslinger and trickster negate this issue as well.

Sounds like a meme hide and go seek squad

Not really if i chase a survivor who go for the rescue in my face i will get punish for the bad play he just did so playing like a dumbass is good if you are a survivor but using rat liver is bad for demo
Why would unhooking with BT while the killer is chasing be a bad play. There are any reasons why it would be a good play.

DS rewards bad playstyles.
DH rewards bad playstyles.
UB rewards bad playstyles.
Soul guard rewards bad playstyles.
Adrenaline rewards bad playstyles.
SB rewards bad playstyles.
I can go on if you want?
Its not just on one side.
Might as well just leave it at all perks reward bad playstyles.

For perk combos it's probably best to run bitter murmur, and sloppy. I don't think you have any teachable since you are only rank 13 so depending on your killer you might want to use their teachable. I don't know how much killer experience you have but since you are struggling at 13 I can only assume a few dozen hours. Look at some killer guides on YouTube these might help you alot and its only a 10 minute time commitment. Other then that it's just playing and understanding the flow of the game over time. Ranking up or getting 3-4 kills will be rough starting out since you don't have any gen perks but it is doable. My personal preference is to run corrupt intervention so keep an eye out for that in the Shrine. Also don't prioritize kicking every gen that has progress. Most of the time it's better just to take a chase over kicking a gen that has 40% completion.

Don't do this. Every perk on the Shrine has the same Iri Shard cost as like half of an entire killer, who each have three perks.
You don't need to spend money to get Hag, Doc or Clown,(Hex:Ruin, Overcharge, PGTW) you can just spend Shards if you have enough.
This is wrong. Shrine cost 2000 shards. Killers cost 8000
-
@sleepywynd said:
Hag is free, doc is free, hillbilly is free. Plus, you don't even need them if you play right
Hag and doc are not free on PC. I know doc is free on console but I do not know about hag.
-
You can learn to do it. Just don't get mad when it gets removed.
-
Fyi you can stand on the lock to block the key use. Also if you know they will make the key escape spam the close hatch button instead of hitting the survivor. This will prevent anyone else from using the hatch if they are right next to it.
-
I just use all the bps and pudding before prestige. I also try to have a pretty high BP count before doing so as well so if I have more bp offerings I use them. If I run out of green bp offerings and the feathers then it's time.
-
Pretty sure it's map wide. If you have a huntress/hag/nurse (fast moving killer) camping/waiting xx meters away then I still think bt should proc.
-
The only reason to care about ranki g is if you are doing it for achievements.
On the matter of ranking tho...
It depends on how the game goes not just number of kills. You need to get multiple hooks on people and keep gens up for a while. Kill people to fast without spreading hooks will result in a brutal or displeased ending. The same can be said for only getting hooks/kills in the end game. Sometimes you have to baby the game if you want to pip up. If you one shot down everybody your chaser isn't going to be great. The ranking system is kinda there to entice people who care about rank to play more "fair/fun" for the other side.
-
I think that perk would break the game code.
-
Why does everyone think lucky break resets when you full heal?Have you guys ever ran the perk before?
-
Other then killer adept I could care less about what it does
-
Yeah I know some killers are going to enjoy getting taunted like they are a cat.

lol seriously? They can't just code some sort of event in the game that checks "survivor downed / true, in range of gen/ true = surge activates"?
I am definitely not a person who knows how to program games, but this seems pretty darn simple to me.
Lol all I can think of is a survivor going down across the map due to not mending and getting value for there stupidity
-
Lol. What a ride of a post that was
-
The best thing to do is to just forget about that game. In your head you won that game. In their head they won.
-
What if they did the game leading up to the event. Like they roll back to game to version 1.0 and every day they do the next patch that came out. We can relive the old days when everything was broken.

Why so much hate for midwich. I love the map on both sides.

Memes
-
I think pig would when solely based on the experiences outside of dbd
-
The new game map has amazing pallets but very few vaults. In general the best thing to do against a Bubba is stay near vaults and force an m1 while using very few pallets ( actually this works for most killers in general)
-
Same with people saying survivor is to easy and stuff needs to be nerfed because killer to hard
-
As many people have said you will need to play alot to become a viable player with all killers.
What you can do to make it easier is watch some videos of people playing killer if you haven't already. This will help you see how games will go and hopefully give you some tactical help on whatever killer you wanna play. Another thing is to just go on to have fun. You will win some and lose some. Don't let people get you tilted.
-
I went into this event expecting less since they had said in a previous stream that they were going to focus on anniversary and Halloween events. So I am probably one of the few that are overall fine with the event. To me they did the minimum they needed to and then they also added a "new toolbox" on top of it.

Honestly the only reason I've even noticed the pip bug is due to the fact that it is just taking a bit longer to climb to rank 1. ( I also started at rank 9 because I hadn't played since the previous tome) but I have noticed when ques are decent the survivors/killers i am paired with are much more deserving of the red rank compared to before.
Popular unpopular opinion: if they don't fix it the only people who are going to be mad are the ones who care to get to rank 1 for the achievement

kek mediocre nurses what you even talking about. Just predict and blink perfectly every time man lol this guy. Even nurse pros get stomped by dead hard you must be new and never seen a dbd tournament.
Lol smh. Bro are you being serious. Not everygame is a try hard tournament game. You must be new to not understand that when most people say something like what I said, its not going to work everytime. Yes every nurse can get beat by a dead hard, but there is counter play.

@selflessnea nah bro I dont even use DS so nice try. Also you must be facing rank 20 killers if you think the update hasnt had any affect on survivors ability to juke and 360. I never said the game was hard for killers which is why I dont understand why so many people on here complain about playing killer. If you think the update hasnt changed the way the game plays then theres no point in continuing this conversation with you.
Wasn't trying to take a dig with the DS comment sorry if you took it that way.
As I stated earlier the issue with spinning/juking is mainly do to the desync issue that is going on right now. It can still be done it is just, in some cases, different then before.
I agree with you on the fact that I dont understand why people are so dead set on saying killer is hard. I was just saying that neither side was hard and the update has done anything to drastically make one side easier.
-
you can still 360. I've done it to many killers since the update. The only problem is the desync issue which was not intended.
playing killer has always been relatively easy and the same goes for survivor. Nothing about this update has changed that.
I also assume you will be leaving once the change DS. If this is the case have a good rest of your life <3
EDIT: also this patch included an unintended buff to survivors which came in the form of que times. This also meant a nerf to killer que times since that is how ques work.

Hands down the most common survivor perk at red ranks on PC but the developers have those magic stats and data that nobody is allowed to see but totally says that DH is only used by 5% of players and *insert meme perk* is the most common. If this were a killer perk it would have been nerfed already.
Honestly if you just account for people using some exhaustion perk it would be about 5% head on, 10% lithe , 5% BL, 40% SB, and 40% DH. (Left adrenaline out due to not getting used until end game)

People are just mad because they are trying to do nurse challenges and literally everyone is metagaming hard and taking dead hard; which is a super hard counter to nurse.
You'll probably see a lot of these threads on and off until the tome ends or there are no nurse challenges for folks to do.
Yeah its a nice counter to the more mediocre nurses out there. Once you know about it as a nurse you can mostly counter by actually putting your first blink on target then hitting them after the dead hard on the second blink.
-
I dont think they fixed that. Read the patch notes
-
Why is everyone complaining. He obviously missed his shot in the video.
