Does anyone actually think that either side is difficult.
-
I think being able to get in lockers is fine it let's you know they have it so you can either choose to eat the ds or just leave them. Its still almost the same as hitting them and leaving them on the ground since they can't do anything without deactivating their ds (and yes I know a slug would apply more pressure)
-
I feel the only change to what was shown in the stream would be to only remove ds if you get fully healed. If you decide to heal someone else you would still lose your ds. I like how they made this more of an anti tunnel perk and how the survivors can't use this to finish gens infront of the killer anymore.

Ok I'm going to be real if you nerf ds for the fourth time and I read, what it does its completely useless now if that deactivates it if you do anything up the time then and also if you nerf it and its useless I'm being fr your not only going to lose me your going to lose alot of surviour mains ds is fine the way it is so please don't ruin the game and don't nerf ds
Sounds like a survivor que update to me then :P
-
Bye ๐. But in all seriousness I've maybe had to sweat about 1/5 matches and don't run undying. The perk is over rated imo. Yeah its probably nice some games (never ran ruin/undying so don't really know) but it isn't necessary for over half your games. Also I find it better to run more reliable perks.
-
Saying a killer is pay to win is dumb. If you can win with Freddy you can win with other killers as well.
-
They will change them after the community makes 100 more threads like this ๐
-
Once you realize they have pinky finger your team should rarely get hit by it. Clown bottles are hard to land if the survivor knows to juke the bottles. I've been in dead zones many times against a Clown with pinky finger who insisted on getting the bottle to hit. They might hit me about 10% of the time simply because of eradict movement. Not to mention this add on doesn't really do anything at pallet/window loops
-
Idk about others but I wouldn't categorize myself as either. If anything I play the side with the fastest que time. And since survivor has the longest que time I only play that if I am playing with a friend.
I honestly don't see a problem with most perks in the game. I do think moris needed to be nerfed. I think the problem is people focus way to often on that one game instead of the many games they have played. Not every game is going to be x and x perk. Not everyone runs full meta builds. I don't take games personally and I move on after a loss. I know I have had many 4k/escapes and when I get anything less its just whatever.
-
I would rather not. It probably wouldn't change much if it was implemented but I'm guessing this would also apply for gens being worked on. That would be pretty powerful. But with grabs being as whack as they are I still don't think it would change much.
-
By this logic every perk needs to be nerfed. Stuned killer with enduring and couldn't get away, damn got out perked. Killer broke pallet with brutal strength and caught up faster. Damn got out perked. Survivor sprint bursted out of a dead zone, damn got out perked. Killer with territorial imperative saw me go in basement, damn got out perked. Survivor healed with self care while I chased them, damn got out perked.
This can be said about possibly every perk in the game. DH is fine. DH doesn't give a major advantage all the time. For example, Killer could one shot down you, you could be in an area with no resources, you would have made it to the window/pallet regardless. DH is not some OP perk that you think it is.

The entire point of DS is to help stop tunneling and the game is inherently a 4v1, so "equivalent" perks should not exist. A better, less broken idea would be something like Spectral Shreik, which causes any healthy survivor completing the rescue to scream and show their position for X seconds.
Well since you already get the sound que I dont think the scream would do anything since you know where they are. I think an aura for 3-5 sec would be a better option. It would also be interesting to see how this would be paired up with make your choice
Edit: this effect would happen for anyone who unhooked. This also would promote less tunneling.
-
I think it would be better if it just cycled through different killer/survivor or map banners. And at the bottom give you a little detail about them. This could be lore or a quick description of there power.
-
Pretty much every killer. Pig and wraith are the least played. And I never see the twins
-
I feel this would get rid of the grind too much. I also hate having to get a perk 3 times. I think a good compromise would be to only have 2 tiers this way you still have something to grind towards but also have it not be an extremely daunting task.

That's not what bothers me. What bothers me is the difference of how the game plays on both. For example, a computer Oni and Nurse would shred compared to console versions.
I will agree there is probably a (marginally) higher skill cap on some killers on PC. But the issue of your post is that you are playing killer and having to deal with a frustrating que time. I could be wrong but the only major difference between console and pc survivors is the number of key binds where controllers are more limited. With crossplay on, your killer que should be almost instant. Yeah matchmaking would still be pretty similar (if not better) but hey atleast you didn't have to wait 40 mins for the match.
And on the issue of hackers you mentioned, they seem to be very rare. I haven't seen/noticed any in the several hundred hours I've played as killer. To be fair though as a rank 1, I am usually matched with mostly red ranks and not many under that. Hackers might be more prevalent at the lower ranks.
-
I still don't understand why people turn crossplay off. Its not like the skill level between platforms is that drastic. We just have it ingrained in our minds that pc players are better then console when in reality there are plenty of potatoes/gods on any platform.

Consoles are far from lovely. They are made cheap. Graphics are sad and the auto aiming features are even sadder. The consoles cheapness also passes on to any games released on console. It would've cost more to implement a chat feature in game. Sorry you will nevaaaaaaa... own a PC evaaaaaaa... Millennial
Who hurt you.
-
No. It would get pretty boring since you could manipulate AI. Plus its nice seeing different playstyles
-
I just want the salt i love the salt
-
As long as you have cross-platform enabled you shouldn't have a big problem with que times. It also depends on when you play as well. For me in whatever the US east server is I will see times any where from a minute to about 5 for survivor. It gets longer the later in the night it is. Killer is a lot better with me seeing almost insta lobbies at night. (This is at red ranks btw. Other ranks might differ)

remember the splinter offering?
where you use them and they turn you to a perkless license killer?
Sometimes you can't simply just manipulate, some offerings will just stand in your way and waste you so much bps
You will nearly always be able to manipulate the bloodweb in such a way that you don't have to get the mori (at lvl 50). Still doesn't explain why you are complaining about how it punishes you in the emblem system. If anything it now hurts you way less since you now have to have people on death hook. Also if you are running a mori I doubt you are caring about emblems anyways.
Don't know why you had to bring splinter offerings into this. I think they were a decent way to get players to try the new killer (in this case Micheal) before they bought the DLC.
Lastly its ONLY 7000 bp. If you play green or yellow bp offerings all the time then that amount should be nothing. You get 2-3 iri offerings each bloodweb (could be wrong on that number). That is nothing compared to all the other garbage offerings available.
-
I think if anything it should give a stack for picking someone up off the ground as well. Doing the objective(gens) should not award anything.
-
Yeah if they could just move the hands back to victors head for the animation that would be nice. Other then that I love that you yeet that thing on the ground. So satisfying.
-
Its different from person to person. so it basically means nothing at this point.
-
@Iceyrawr said:
Now that Moris are nerfed, I literally don't want them on my bloodweb.
Why would I spend 7000 bloodpoints for something that punish me in the emblem system
and has almost no practical uses?
Seeing Moris on bloodweb now is like seeing monstrous shrine, literally.
So before the nerf it was okay to spend 7000 bp for something that would punish you in the emblem system. I mean you can manipulate the bloodweb to have the entity take that instead of something else you will not use.

I was hoping to get some fire crackers this winter, but guess I won't get any... :(
Pretty sure you will still be able to get them during the Chinese new years (just not the winter ones) since that is usually when they are in the bloodweb. I know they are going to focus more on the anniversary and Halloween events, but if I recall correctly they are just going to focus less on other events. I hope this means double bp weeks and the usual special items/gens/hooks.
-
Did you count the times the killer let you have hatch/escape as escapes or deaths
-
The grind isn't that bad if you play killer most of the time since you get to play the full match and get quicker que times (for the most part). Just make sure to put on an offering for bloodpoints every match. There is no reason not to since as you level up a character you will never run out of these offerings.
-
Have fun never playing again then. <3

If that isn't bad then god you guys set your standards low
I am kinda hoping this response was satire as well but incase it wasn't:
Considering matchmaking is "supposed" to be based on rank alone this isn't terrible and somewhat expected. While in purple ranks it is reasonable to see a full red rank team albeit not that often. The truth is without a true mmr system rank will not really matter at all.
-
Is cross-platform enabled?
-
Horror game has jump scares
Op: I dont like jump scares. It is unfun.
In all seriousness that's what makes this game fun. I will always enjoy a good scratch mirror myers game on an indoor map.
-
Everytime i play against doc on mobile my phone becomes a taser and shocks me anytime my survivor gets shocked ๐ฒ
-
Id say most people who do it are just afk. And another thing is you can't ready up at 15 sec left. So maybe I was adjusting my perks and just didn't do it fast enough.
-
Rule 1 : some survivors/killers are never happy if they didn't "win".
Rule 2: play how you want to play. Everyone's playstyle is a little different. Enjoy the game you payed for by playing how you want to play.
Rule 3: if someone wants to complain tell them gg and kill them with kindness and facts ๐

Why do it in someone's face after they dropped everything and risked crossing the map to get you? I don't even get mad at the loss of bloodpoints. I get upset at the lack of consideration for my time and effort wasted when it could have been put to use elsewhere.
Your time isn't wasted though. You can heal the person that just got off hook and now your side is in a better state.

If you wanna try and jump, do it before people drop what they're doing to run across the map to help you. You just wasted, or attempted to waste, that person's time and rob them of their own bloodpoints. They could have continued working on their objectives otherwise.
So now you are telling both of us to throw the game. And it's not robbing you of blood points, You can still heal the person. They still have the struggle state. You are just mad because you missed out on points in a category you were already going to max out anyways.
If I kobe then nice we both get points. If I don't then you unhook me and we continue playing normally and I still have struggle phase.
-
Maybe you are just to good for them. What rank are you because to go 10 games in red ranks against face camping killers is very very unlikely.
-
I feel if the killer played bad they probably already left the chat when people do stupid stuff like this. While I still do have bad killer games I will either just hit them with a gg and leave or hit em with an ooooof that was ruff and we just joke around for a couple of seconds before parting ways.
I might be in a minority here but I like it when I get end game salt after a decent/good game on my part. I usually kill them with kindness and facts. Also I'm not allowed in Boston because someone in end game chat said so.
-
Just say gg in end game chat or messages
-
Maybe survivors are finding out that that is a way to get extra survival points since those are relatively hard to come by. I can almost guarantee that the last thing on there mind is im going to deny this guy blood points. You and a few other people just decided to deem this action toxic because you don't like how other people have fun.
Why are you so bent out of shape over a simple action that rarely effects actual gameplay.
-
How is that screwing over your teammate. If anything its more efficient as you can start healing faster. Altruism is one of the easiest categories to max so take your healing points and stop complaining about something that only hurts your pride for some reason.
People have been doing this for years.
And if this happens so often that people unhook themselves in front of you then why do only 1.3% ( steam) of players have the not today achievement.
Edit: also it is kinda funny to watch someone stand there and disconnect after you unhooked yourself.
-
I mean why not. Maybe I want points for a self unhook
-
While I somewhat understand where this is coming from implementing something like this would not go over well. People will use something like this against playstyles they hate or people they consider "try harding". A 30 day timer i can see que times becoming terrible. Unfortunately for most online games the only thing you can do is get video documentation and report it
-
No body argues the rank system is completely skill based. Their are rank 1 survs that go down in seconds each chase. You can still easily saftey pip or pip if some one dc's at the beginning of the match. Trust me once you get good enough you will not worry about pips as you will be getting one pretty much every game.
-
I only camp when I want to make sure the survivor is safe and okay and doesn't get depressed being all alone. I think just having one person by there side makes then happy.
-
I would actually say the challenges you listed are fine. (Possibly with the exception of risky repair). If you want to get them easily i would do the following:
Safe landing: run a map offering for The game or the swamp as these maps have quite a few drops spread across the map. Then all you need to do is get in chase a couple times.
Fight back: camp pallets and possibly let the killer just hit you while running a fast self heal build. Repeat at three pallets.
Risky repair could be a little difficult you could probably get this through normal gameplay if you are okay with doing gens near the killer.
Overall you CAN get every challenge done through normal gameplay. It might just take a while
-
Players are exhausted while working on a gen until it is 50% complete. If they let go before 50% or get past the 50% mark they have to go through the short exhaustion recovery time. Since you stated he had just finished a gen, he would not have been exhausted while you were chasing him.

Congrats
