I don't like the new MoM. I'm a survivor main that uses WGLF. It'll be more difficult to unhook, this will be a war looking for the stacks.

No killer is OP baseline. When you can run add-ons like Prayer Beads, Iridescent Head, and five blinks and pair it with an Ebony Mori then it becomes a little ridiculous. How often do players go against that anyways? It’s not like it is an every round sort of thing. A majority of your survivor rounds aren’t against anything OP.
Prayer Beads, five blinks, and Iridescent Heads are the only add-ons I think need a rework. I also believe moris should have a rework as well.
40-50%

Don't know why you are complaining about an easy 3 gen strat every game.
With PGTW I don't know how we'll make gens

Will they change moris, the most unbalance stuff in the game? Perhaps a possibility for survivors to escape, like Overcharge.

To learn from mistakes. To play the game. If you dont enjoy the game, dont play.
Too many people think "I have to survive, troll, and not get morid with max BP to have fun and it be a good game".
No. Sometimes you roll the killer with pallets and flashlights, and sometimes you get tunneled and morid.
That's life. If you cant handle all potential outcomes like an adult, dont put yourself in a position to suffer one outcome and quit because it's not how you wanted it to be. You queued up. Play the damn game to the end.
"...No. Sometimes you roll the killer with pallets and flashlights, and sometimes you get tunneled and morid...."
Well, sometimes you get tunnelled and mori, and sometimes you can use old DS or MoM. Oh wait, DS was nerfed and MoM will be nerfed.
-
Ebony mori is the most broken stuff in this game. I think there should be an opportunity to escape, something like Overcharge.

Technically speaking, it's because you cannot use any items when you're dying and keys are treated no differently from the rest. I don't believe we're looking into changing that at the moment, for consistency's sake at the very least.
Please, let us drop items too when in dying state. I'm thinking in med-kits or even syringes

Teleport with Pop Goes the Weasel and perhaps overcharge too will be op, you'll see

I'm not wrong.
Good Survivors > Good Killer. That's just how it is. DbD favors survivors in most scenarios. Rank doesn't matter, because those SWF kill squads could be at any rank. The only killer capable of going toe to toe with skilled survivors is Nurse. And that's because Nurse isn't handicapped nearly as much by bad map design as other killers.
I've been playing this game for a long time, so I'm very good as killer, but I don't kill anyone so I'm at low ranks. I can tell you I don't need weapons, I can make 4k only using slaps.

At low ranks is worst. B&C kill more people than all killers together
-
Imagine a perk that allow Hillbilly to play without his chainsaw. No mither is worst
-
Spine chill is the one of the best perk for survs.
-
There are some killers like huntress wich imho could be just under nurse tier if they didn't lack map pressure, especially with the bigger maps we are getting..
So, you want Hillbilly 12% faster? This is a balance perk?

What stops survivors from 4x downvoting every killer they come across just because they can?
Nothing, but if they do it for all the killers, the matchmaking will not change. Killers and survs that everyone think play fair should have a benefit. Anyway, always you'll find bad people
-
90% of survivor's perks are #########

Killer can see you when they hook someone, when you heal, when you are near crows, when you exit the closets, when you are dying, when you are close the killer when he hit someone or put someone in dying state, when you cleanse totems, when 2 or more survs are in the same gen, when you stop the gen regression, when you are the obsession, when you are near the killer. Even when you are doing nothing crows are over you ...
I would LOVE to see 1 form of hiding from the killer

@Chewy102 said:
First impressions based off his leaks tells me that Ghost isn't going to be anymore than mid tier. Workable in low to maybe mid ranks and can be fun to play, but found lacking when playing against any proper team of Survivor be they solo or SWF.
Ghost is a stealth Killer, with the full 32m terror radius. That instantly puts him at a real disadvantage as you can't get close to stalk someone without them knowing you are there. The Ghost does have a secondary power that removes his terror radius, until seen by a Survivor, but that as well gives any/everyone a VERY clear warning. Ghost is a stealth Killer that tells people he is there. Kinda defeats the main point of being stealth.
The main power to stalk any one person to expose them sounds good on paper but in what Iv seen it isn't going to help that much. You can't stalk someone in stealth as you warn everyone you are there and you can't stalk someone mid chase as it slows you to a crawl. Plus the exposed status only lasts so long. If someone gets ANY kind of lead on you, then odds are you wont be able to make use of their exposed status and just be looped like normal.
It all reads like another M1 Killer who isn't going to see much play after his "new car scent" wares off.
There is another part to this though. The devs have said multiple times that they plan on reworking maps again and will detail the changes on Friday. That can possibly changed EVERYTHING! If they somehow (not going to happen) make looping not as rewarding then the entire game changes. "Mid tier" Killers that have useful powers and those that just depend on M1 could be finally be viable.
But without those map details, playing the Ghost myself, or at least seeing enough gameplay videos of him Im just talking out my ass.
"... make looping not as rewarding..."
Killers have perks to see survivors when hooking another one, when a survivor go out from a closet, when survivors are close when they hit someone, when survs are close when a survivor is put in dying state, when survs are healing, when 2 or more survs are in the same gen, when survs are doing gens, when crows are near survs, when gens are done, when survs are cleansing totems, when survs are near you.
We can't do anything else but loop.
-
Why survs DC? Because they think the game is not balanced: moris, campers, omega-blink, some addons, tunneling. They do it to punish the killer for it and not let him gain the hooks. I think the solution is to balance the game, but the easiest way to remove DC is make DC=3 hooks of this survivor (no penalty for killers). This way you won't see any DC, but more hook suicides.

Cool. For par condicio killers should have a perk that gives them a skill check every time a generator is completed. If they succed the skill check, one random survivor is instantly sacrificed.
Yes, and suvivors wants a gen-mori. When you finish 2 gens, all gens are done, doors are open and you escape.
-
I played this game for a long time and I don't know yet if killers want us to heal or not. Devs can't nerf survivors for healing and for not healing.

It happens just as often in purple, green and yellow ranks, too.
It's gotten to the point where I just expect it. I do my one game on survivor and killer for the daily EXP bonus and that's it. Doesn't matter how the match goes to get the bonus +600 EXP in total.
As I told in other post, I can't understand why you can finish the ritual within a match, DC and the ritual is still completed
-
Your asking for something for survs in a killer forum. As much ask for 100BP more in No one left behind. And sure killers will vote you down because it'll have no counter :(
-
Trapper and hag had an implicit buff with EGC. And if only is 1 survivor left and you find the hatch is 100% sure a 4k
-
Don't worry, as killer you'll have tons of ultrarare addons
-
Trapper and hag had a small buff with the new EGC. EGC vs a single survivor is sure 4k if you find the hatch first (anyway 90% with other killers and 100% hillbilly and nurse)

@Ihatelife said:
They're afraid of making the killers top tier.
Top tier killers are 90-100% 4k in mid-low ranges, that's why they can't do it

Remove MoM. Worst design choice by the developers by a long way
I don't know yet why having to hit a survivor with MoM again is the worst stuff in the world, but killing survivors using a mori with 2M2 or 4M1 hits is ok
-
We NEED the 5th perk slot. More an more perks appears and we can't use anyone, because all of them are worst than meta's. I saw killers saying this is a buff for survivors, but I think is the opposite. Killer's perks are by far better than survivor's. Imagine the game only with 2 perks. Killers can't use NOED, Ruin or B&C
-
5th perk slot

First of all, how is it not valid? If someone uses MoM, than it still applies.
And second of all, you honestly think no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE will use MoM? Not everybody plays like you, not everyone will play like me.
And finally, people out here try to find every exploit in the game and abuse it.
(BTW gens are inherently flawed for both sides)
Not 100% sure. I think it'll be the same number of killers that get Monstrous Shrine
-
Survs can't use MoM because it's a 4th hit opportunity, but killer can use moris, which is a 4 hits death
-
@Hoodied said:
@KillermainBTWm8 Or they think they have the ability after the Legion rework and Freddy nerf that they can control what gets nerfed or buffed so they DC against nurse so when they check disconnection rates against Nurse it will be high and they will believe that she needs to be changed to prevent this, allowing survivors to win a battle and make us have only 1 reliable killer
Yes, as they control how DS or MoM has been nerfed.
-
@Peanits said:
To play Devil's Advocate, that exact scenario can already happen, only you'd have no clue that the unhooker is using it until it's too late. On top of that, you have the choice between going for the unhooked guy and getting hit with DS (totally avoidable, expires in 60 seconds), or going for the guy with MoM, which does not expire and will remain active for the rest of the round until you hit them.
If 3 hits are necessary nobody will use MoM, you can go for the unhooker one.

Ppl dc once they know you have bbq that perk needs a nerf to balance out the d strike change I hear a lot of survivors complain about bbq and how it needs a re-work and I agree it’s too strong it should be more like infectious fright so don’t blame survivors for you needing perks to give their location to you I hate being found in a good hiding spot or getting killed and tunnled just cuz you can see we’re i am so I get it from both sides of view but it doesn’t need a rework
BBQ is very difficult for low-mid survivors, I know.
-
Today I only saw 1 DC, due to an ebony mori

@Hoodied said:
I always take 3 protection hits, in fact, I call this a buff to MoM and not a nerf, because you can simply wait for a survivor to be picked up and run over and take a hit, 1 charge out of 3 and protection points, run WGLF and it give out a ton of BP
Well, I'll know it's you when I'll see MoM in a survivor.

@Schwifty said:
It's all about the chase for me, I'll always leave the hook even if I know other Survivors are around waiting for me to leave to rescue their team mates just so I can chase them down again.
And if I don't get any sacrifices that match I'll usually have pipped because I'll have hooked each Survivor twice and harassed them a whole bunch along the way.
My last match in fact everyone escaped but I'd hooked them all twice, made about 26k bp without bbqc), I managed to pip and my Survivors where happy as they'd earned a descent amount of bp as well.
Playing as killer I play the same way as you. Well, I can't kill anyone (although I had a mori and it's my daily ritual). More than 20.000BP for all, everyone have fun, they said sometimes to me that was the best game they played in years. Sure I depip more than pip, but I play to enjoy, not to make some survivors have a bad day.

@George_Soros said:
@prayer_survivor Orion is right though: you're not presenting arguments, just venting frustration. Yes, 1v1 is very difficult for the survivor, and easier for the killer. But it's only ONE part of the game. "Balance" doesn't mean all parties should have a guaranteed 50% chance of winning at any time.
Think about it this way: you don't see any of us killer mains complaining about how difficult it is when all generators are repaired, and all four survivors are still alive.
Why? Well, we already had our chances, and failed, either because we didn't play well enough, didn't play seriously, maybe survivors were great or by pure luck. Doesn't matter. At the beginning of a match, we all have a fair chance to win. As the game progresses, depending on how it goes, one side starts to gain advantage over the other.
Also, I don't see you mentioning how now you can escape even if zero generators are done. Fair? No. Luck based? Yes. Is it wrong? Hell no.
"Also, I don't see you mentioning how now you can escape even if zero generators are done"
I don't like this change too. I prefer the previous version when you need 3 gens done.

Sadly sometimes survivors and killers seems enemies. You shouldn't answer like that when you create yesterday a discussion: "PROPOSAL TO BUFF SOME PERKS FOR THE KILLERS"

I wonder what the survival rate is now. Maybe it evens out since survivors are more likely to leave others behind, but then that also denies killers a chance at a comeback if survivors just leave with one on the hook now. While it becomes more likely to kill the lone 4th survivor since the game does it for them after two minutes of closing the hatch. If it looks bad, I won't even bother to try to open a door. Just find a nice place to let the Entity take me.
I suppose it evens out.
"If it looks bad, I won't even bother to try to open a door. Just find a nice place to let the Entity take me."
Me too. In 1v1 when hatch is closed and doors are too close I looked for totems or chests to make BP

Why aren't you answering the question?
Don't know to answer you if you don't understand what I said previously (bad english, I know).
" What's unfair about a 1v1 in an asymmetrical game being in the power role's favor?"
Well, do you think if killer make 4k every game is fair? Yes, I know you want to make 4k and if you can you want our houses and possessions, but this is a game and all of us want to have fun.
Not going to answer you more in this post, it's impossible we agree
-
@Mochan said:
Here's another simpler option: if the hatch has been closed by the killer, the survivor can open the hatch, but it is like repairing a generator, he must tug and pull at it for say 15 seconds, same as opening a gate, before it bursts back open. And Killer can kick it shut like breaking a gen to reduce the progress.
This way it becomes similar to the tertiary last gen patrol standoff of the normal endgame where there are three exit points, and provides more options for actual skilled play and counterplay between survivor and killer in the final stage.
I suggested the same days ago, and imagine the responses

Well, they can change the game so if you hook 1 survivor, all of them became hooked. Is an asymmetrical game so is fair too

Yes, it's an asymmetrical game, but in this game you have to kill 4 survivors, not 3 survivors and have 99% chance of killing the 4th in 1v1 EGC.

@Peanits said:
It wasn't so much because of a "few fringe issues", it was a fairly common complaint. If you go back a couple months and took a look at the forums, you could hardly get through a single day without seeing at least one post about hatch standoffs. Any time the killer managed to kill three survivors before the gates were powered, you had a pretty good chance that it would turn into a standoff. It wasn't really a fun situation for either side and the only way to win was to not play it. It might not seem so common looking back but it was by far one of the most frequent complaints we received.
With that in mind, it's not final. We can always tweak it and make balance changes as it is necessary. Whoever makes it to the hatch first is going to have a huge advantage, and if the survivor does not make it their first, they're going to have a rough time escaping.
A survivor asking for a fair EGC, and 17 killers saying no. Sadly is the usual in the forum

So giving 3 free hits + having to heal 3 times because yes, it's worth an extra hit? I don't think so. If they change MoM to 3 protection hits it will become trash tier inmediately. I don't get the why there are so many useless and situational perks in the game. Barely 10% are worthy.
Because this is a killer forum, and the deny anything that can help survivors.
