Another possible solution to DC and campers/tunnellers
Many survs DC because they think the killer is a camper o tunneller. Both, DC and campers make this game boring and stressful.
A solution could be if at the end of the match survs and killer can score the others as fair or not fair play. Then, this score can be used to faster matchmaking or more time waiting for a game. Those who DC can't score the others. This way, if you want to penalize a killer you don't DC, because you know you can score him and if he didn't play fair he'll have most time waiting for a match.
This system can be reset monthly, as rank reset.

What stops survivors from 4x downvoting every killer they come across just because they can?
Nothing, but if they do it for all the killers, the matchmaking will not change. Killers and survs that everyone think play fair should have a benefit. Anyway, always you'll find bad people
@prayer_survivor There is an option to upvote someone, i don't know if it have any effect tho.
Players should never be able to influence matchmaking. This was already tried in other games and resulted in unnaturally long queues for the good players.
