So I am making someone mad by using Mori, but then I should use whatever I want.

    Hmmmm.

I fully understand how you feel. I also got some pretty bad messages after using a mori.

    Also, @powerbats.

How in the world is this a bait?

  • I hate that I can't delete a quote when writing a reply (on mobile).

Also, why is the comment preview all in bold?!

I know rank does not matter but what rank?

    R6

  • I once got a message that my files look edited (also the EAC).

I don't cheat tho. I don't even mod games, I play everything vanilla.

    (Yes, even Skyrim.)

  • Yeah, we have the Clown with the pocket knife, Legion with another pocket knife and now we have a censer.

Except for the Spirit's Japanese weapon, we have some almost harmless weapons.

@popoles always makes really good points which are backed up from a wealth of experience on different platforms. Plus they don't use self care which is admirable in itself.

Aww... I am going to cry. No one has ever mentioned me here.

  • I am not sure if I understand you correctly, but you really think that you have to look down to hit the survivor (to not whiff)???

There's NO DIFFERENCE between tall and small killers when it comes to hit registering. As long as there is a survivor in a cone in front of the killer, they'll get hit. This is why there are these strange 180 hits.

Also, I don't think that using your own character model (that is smaller than the killer's model) is called exploiting. It's called using sources to your advantage.

  • Yeah, I am learning Biology while waiting. Those super long loading screens are also helpful.

  • My nurse has no fatigue.

@Kamikaze_Rose I don't like the idea of Console-PC crossplay because console is not optimized at all

Did you read the optimization message? 60FPS comes to console before dedicated servers.

  • Just make it PC-Xbox-Switch (Sony is not very likely to allow it). Make it possible to have console only (Xbox-Switch) and add a kb+m support for Xbox.

When using kb+m on Xbox, you are allowed to play with PC players and other kb+m Xbox players only.

  • I am against this idea. As a solo survivor, I am cleansing every totem I see. I don't need this buff at all and it also removes the "immersion", because how can my Feng know that there are 5 totems left even though she saw only 1?

Or add it to the Small Game.
  • @thesuicidefox
Oh yeah, that's why I am playing Warframe with kB+m.
  • Why should I, as a killer, go after the unhooked survivor, knowing that he might use DS on me? And to top it off, waste my precious time to make sure he won't use it???
Like, are you even reading this after yourself?

From my understanding, the PC version of the game has the capability and option to use a controller as an alternative input versus keyboard and mouse. I think that's great, but we all know console can do the same with keyboard and mouse input. People argue that the ' reason's why it hasn't been done ( yet ) is for competitive reasons, if that was true, then PC shouldn't have the controller option because some players play better with controller and vice versa. Why can't we allow console players to use keyboard and mouse if PC can use console controllers? I really would like to have the option to use either controller or keyboard and mouse. And this is also the developers choice, sony doesn't block the use of keyboard and mouse to play games.

DBD is actualyl a game that has been ported frmo PC to console, mouse and keyboard support is naturally given since almsot everybody plays with them on their PC.

if you want to play with m/k, then you need to speak to sony/microsoft that prevent those peripherals. The game itself is actually built to play with m/k

Xbox has had mouse support for 4 months now. It's up to developers to allow it.
  • Why do so many people think they need DS? I don't use it at all and I can still survive.
@Oooooof just learn how to play without these training wheels and your game experience will get better. (If you like challenges, tho)
  • There's your answer, then. Nurse relies heavily on controls and good FPS. PS4 has none of that. There are a few really good nurses on console.
  • Well then these Nurses you face are trash.
  • Wraith. Just because he's cute.

Wondering, how fast and effective are the reports? :D

They get to them generally pretty quickly but for privacy reasons can't tell you that hey x person been hit with the whack a jerk bat.

I've seen people i've reported complain about it various places and I get a good chuckle because they proclaim their innocence when they've been a toxic douchebag.

I would be happy with something like "We have taken an action against a player you had reported." That would be satisfying.
  • It has never happened to me. I didn't know about this until I looked it up on the Wiki.
  • Xbox.
@AshleyWB come to the rescue! Xbox needs you!

It might be 75 but I think only 2 are working
Well, 60 of them work on cosmetics, 10 of them are community managers and those 5 are the ones rotating on the dev streams.
  • Because you have a different health state when under the effect of Feral Frenzy and when you are not.
Mending basically is healing, but it is not recognised as such by the Nurse's Calling. Just don't mix realism and gameplay elements.
  • Get tougher skin. Welcome to the internet.

That's not an argument though. DocOctober has always been a bit "annoying" to me because of his omniscient ego.
  • Why would anyone play this on the switch? It looks very bad. The fps will probably be horrible as well.

Well at least you can fry eggs on it while playing the game.
  • I don't use Nurse, I can help you out though.

Enduring - helps your stun after warps, really.
Play with your food - completely optional.
Nurse's calling - useful for healing.
Discordance - quick smack and locate.
Blood Hound - Blood marks would help during warps, since she is slow.
Shadowborn - Easier to spot after warps.
Monitor and Abuse - Easy on the TR.

Endurance does not affect the fatigue.

But she already has a stun when hit by a pallet.

No? I have pallet stunned several nurses mid-blink and still got hit.
You pallet stun any other killer they don't get to hit before stun.

Then you didn't stun them. Simple.

The game is coded in a terrible way.
There is no difference in floors, thats why the grass over the basement moves when someone walks in the basement etc

You must be kidding me? That is an actual thing?

    Yes

just like the terror radius is the same in every floor

The game has been coded in a x-y plane and the devs neglected the z-axis, guess they never intended to have multiple floors in the beginning and have never changed that

That's also the reason why they had to rework the Nurse's blinking mechanic. When on the Game, she would always teleport to the lower floor.
  • But she already has a stun when hit by a pallet.
  • Kill the killer? YOU MONSTER. You would ever hurt Phillip?!
  • My first killer I played against was Nurse and when I saw her blink for the first time I was like, "Wow! She can *run* super fast!".
I also thought that Claudette is a healer class, so she has to heal quicker. (I mostly play Healer and Support in MOBAs and MMOs).
  • Do you really have to use these colours? The blue one is super ugly.
  • Feng. She is the best.
  • And to think that I understand this language :unamused:

I'm a rank 1 killer. I just tested it out. I played 5 straight games as Nurse, 4ked every single time, including a full SWF all using DS, BT and instaheals, and they barely managed to get 3 gens done. My fact still stands.

Yes the Nurse at low levels is fine. It still makes sense to properly balance the Killer for all levels. When an experienced Nurse plays, 9/10 they will 4k, unless one guy is lucky enough to get the hatch.

Here I'll do the Devs job for them, here is a PERFECT Nurse rework: Make her a 110 killer. Her power has a short cooldown. She can blink only a VERY short distance, say through walls or windows. Make the add-on to add 1 additional chain blink ultra-rare. Bam she is a balanced killer and fun to play as and against.

Who said it is the perfect rework? I find it insulting.
  • Feng because I love her outfits.
  • They must have spaghetti code. I remember when one patch made pallets fly after breaking them, but there was no change to pallets whatsoever.
Which apparently slipped past QA as well.
  • tt_ivi_99 said:
You can see how many blinks she has when charging her power. There are little light balls in her hand depending on how many blinks you have left.
Oh I thought he meant from the survivor standpoint.
It's surprising how many people don't notice this.
  • Or maybe when her hand glows, she has at least one blink left?
  • I have to be that guy, but it's not funny at all.
    Sorry.
  • Most likely tomorrow, when the event starts. Saves having updates 2 days in a row.

I think that they always include the event in the latest big patch and then trigger it when it starts.
  • sounds good but numbers need balance like Nea +5% OP

I agree that survs can push and move each others, even the killer

more perks to fight-back the killer and to compete with survs like stealing items or punch in da face

    Walking speed, not running.
  • No, thank you. I don't need any more toxicity in this game.

Hag=S tier. Not A tier. But yeah he sucks.

She is A tier imo. Just run around when she is picking up someone and she has to set everything up again.
  • With this new engine I had a bug where his lalala was just a normal terror radius. It was hilarious.

I'll only dodge if a real life event comes up (since I won't be able to finish the game that I've started) and high ping lobbies (I really hate P2P connection). I won't dodge for any other reason, others should do the same.
And who are you to tell them what they should and should not do?
I also don't dodge but I don't feel the need to force people to play the way I want.
    @popoles
Because there is no other reason to dodge a lobby and I never told people "how to play". I only said that you should only dodge in these scenarios (and that's why I said, "Others should do the same") because these are legitimate reasons to dodge while others just dodge for the stupidest reasons.

It's ridiculous with how many people dodge for the most stupidest reasons in my opinion:

    2 Flashlights? Dodge.
3+ Toolboxes and afraid of BNP? Dodge.
3+ Med-Kits and afraid of Instaheal? Dodge.
3+ P3 Claudettes or Legacy survivors? Dodge.
Someone has a key? Crap! Dodge.

If you see this, instead of dodging (not staying you are dodging, just a PSA for everyone) then use YOUR items. Bring in your add-ons or offerings to balance things out, they are there for a reason, namely, strength!

Lastly, why is dodging a problem?

You may not think dodging is a problem but if you waited 10 minutes to get a game just to get sent back to the lobby and wait another 10 minutes. That's 20 minutes just to find a game, that's double than you normally had to wait. Usually dodging isn't a problem for fast game times but it's devastating for the people who have long wait times.
You don't have to make everything bold, I can understand written text -_-.
Anyways, as long as they have bought this game, it's not up to me or anyone else to tell them whether or not they should dodge which lobby.
I can't say it isn't annoying, because it really is, but when someone doesn't feel like going against some of those scenarios, they are free to dodge.
    Have a nice day/night.
I make things bold to show things that are really important. It's a great way to make your comments feel more well written and it's great to get others attention. I don't make things bold for any other reason besides that.

Now, back on topic, it's still a stupid reason to dodge. It's like playing survivor, seeing that it's a Nurse, and you DC because you don't wanna go against that scenario. Overall, go by the golden rule, would you like to play lobby simulator since killers keep dodging you?
Survivors DC against my nurse anyway.
And my opinion still stands. If someone feels like not going against some players, they can leave the lobby. Fun is subjective and if they want to play Legion just for fun and see 4 toolboxes, they are free to leave.
