Doesn't he regrow on Charlotte in 6 seconds if removed?
Yes, the cooldown is waaaaay too fast. I think Victor should have at least a 20-30 second cooldown, since he can down multiple people at once and also give away locations. However, crushing him on a survivor's head is really fast and doesn't give away their location, but I don't use Victor much and maybe it's a weird glitch? Also, the way he returns is super funny, a ball of gloop with eyes just nyooms into ur boob it's quality entertainment

How is "if the killer misses" a counter? This is relying on bad play, not an actual counter.
Oh sorry, I hope the lol didn't sound rude! And yes, if he misses it depends on an error, but his pounces are easy to avoid-- Jumping into a locker, ducking, and most of the time it is hard to aim when survivors zig zag but in an unpredictable fashion. Then he is vulnerable. The play is to make Victor mess up, which is easier once we get used to them. I've lucked out and strategized it before, so it's possible, just extra thinking. Good luck!
-
Victor is easy to counter, if he misses an attack he is vulnerable to being curb stomped lol! Also, even when switching to Charlotte, you can hear Victor if he is hiding somewhere to give away survivor's location, so you have a few seconds to punt that twerp (sorry Victor)!!! Good luck in your next matches with them, and remember: Kick!!! That!!! Baby man thing!!!
-
Ooh, good question! I'm pretty sure when one of them is dormant you can't blind them, but maybe when they are waking up? Victor isn't the safest to blind because he can pounce and also because you can see survivors near him. Charlotte also loses her TR while dormant, so I'm guessing blinding a sleeping person doesn't work lol! But try it out and keep me updated, I'm curious now :o!!!
-
I always rush to unhook someone because I want them to have a chance at gens too. It sucks when you spawn next to the killer and get hooked and even with kindred see all of your teammates pumping out gens. I have died so many times on the hook due to gen rushing and honestly I prefer leaving those games because I like getting that co-op action in and the thrill of helping each other and such! And I always feel bad when someone suicides right away, especially when I was close to the hook. One piece of advice I have is to never rush an unhook near a killer, even if you have BT, since the person unhooked usually gets tunneled. But whatever, at the end of the day it's just a game and if we ever ended up in a universe like this I'd scream until someone unhooked me, not out of pain, but because I want those sweet BP babey!!! lol!
-
I used to hate playing killer but since I got Plague I was excited to go BLEHHHHH on people, and she's a lot of fun, but I actually started playing killer a lot these past two days as Charlotte and lil gremlin boy. I haven't had this much fun as killer in awhile, and while Blight was fun to nyoom around the map with, Charlotte's chase music is too good to pass up. I've said this before, but I want that to play whenever I enter a room even if I'm just grocery shopping, it's so spicy I love it. I still play as my pink meg as survivor, but a lot of the killers have been using odd tactics that make the game way less fun as survivor, yesterday I had a Huntress stand on a hill and take shots at us and slugged hard. Not fun lol.
-
I promise not all of us survivor mains are like this :( I have actually had my first 4ks ever as the twins and a lot of the matches were fair game. And toxicity is on both sides, I have seen it. Just enjoy the game and either stop being a jerk for "fun" or let it slide. Unless it's disgusting behavior like using slurs and telling you to k word yourself and such, because that's not salt, that's true malice. Good luck leaning them and have fun :)!!

I hope you get more used to victor. He definetly has a skill cap I can admit that. It isnt easy as it seems. I kinda want to p3 the twins. Ik it sounds dumb but maybe even a killer that can preform against the best survs. The bad hits seem terrible rn been getting so many weird looking hits.
Me too, but we can power through it! First one to p3 the twins gets.. bragging rights? Idk I'll do it for a reese's cup lol!

cheers to you having fun with the twinsies! I was hoping they would grow on me after watching streamers but nopes😬.
To each their own! And the twinsies!! I love that nickname so much lol :) From your user I'm guessing you use Demogorgon and I didn't get him because I haven't watched Stranger Things yet, and also because he seems difficult. I like the twins because first of all, baby on board and I love babies, and secondly... um, I don't know I really like Charlotte's design lol!
-
I have a hard time tracking survivors solely through victor, and usually have to traverse the map without him giving away a location. Also, when he is on someone's head I don't get a notification for their whereabouts so I have to run around until he gets crushed and hope they aren't running iron will. Also, his pounce is hard to aim!!! I'm bad at this game but wow I was SWEATY trying to get a survivor! Anyways, I haven't properly experienced his hitbox enough since I tend to use Charlotte alone and unbind a few times per match, but I have seen a lot of bad hitboxes (Especially on the huntress :o!) but I have no clue what to do about that lol :)!
-
One thing I discovered playing as the twins is that unless Victor is well hidden and near a gen, I still have to traverse the map as usual without his tracking abilities. Also, kick the baby!!! Anytime I see Victor I'm ready to square up, my knee in crushing position lol! I also like their perks, but I think it will take a lot of patience to use Victor as a half and half thingy for the maps.
-
I'm sorry that happened, bubbale! I hate when I run kindred and still get left for dead. And the rank reset can be ridiculous, especially with the already messy MMR and such. I hope your next matches are more fun and that you escape! Good luck :)!
-
I enjoy their playstyle a lot and have had difficulty crushing Victor against a good Charlotte. Also, while playing them I find it easy to counter a kick by nyooming around before they can manage to find the prompt. It's super effective lol! Wait after saying that what if Victor came out of a pokeball that'd be kind of cool

Playing as blight with blood favour and haunted grounds is pretty fun! Not OP, just had to talk about that sweet bone tower power
-
I got the twins with my shards and felt the need to change my icon on here lol! I feel like that "friendship ended with mudasir" thing, I haven't had this much fun playing killer in a long time! Also, I like Charlotte's design a lot and the perks are really good so far (rank 17, but I have been facing purple and green all night!) Also that chase music????? I want it to play every time I enter a room
-
Run in circles around him until BHVR notices, then they will put in an animation for it.
-
I encountered it as well, but me and a Nancy circled around Victor while Charlotte nodded along, it was a beautiful family moment <3
-
I'm sorry bubbale! I have had bad games like that where my rank gets busted overnight! It's tough, but I like to remember that I can only go up from there! Good luck in your next matches, and I hope they're fun (and plentiful in pips!) <3!

Increased sensitivity only helps you to turn faster.
OP is asking for an option to adjust how much you need to move your analog stick in order to get a response
Ah, I make a wonderful community fool. Watch me jingle in my dunce uniform. Jingle jingle.
-
Sorry if this is dumb, I'm new to playing games, but I thought that the controller sensitivity helped with that? I am actually planning on running a little test to up the sensitivity, that way I can attempt more 360s that actually register lol!

Dude I was rank 4 and overnight got stuck at rank 6!! I keep getting matches with low ranks, and while some are amazing, some are really new and have trouble with getting around the gens and such. I also keep getting them with rank 1 killers, and I usually depip because my teammates get lost or hurt and, ofc, I'm not perfect I make mistakes but they usually don't know what to do to save me or their team. It's such a pain, but I know there's bigger fish to fry in the universe. Still, would be nice to have well matched matches!

And no one else. None. No more. No-one else gets a mention for being awesome.
Except @notstarboard @PigMainClaudette @Slashstreetboy@Orion @Respectfulnancymain @Aven_Fallen @Buttercake @Jyn_Mojito and a whole heap of people that I swear this message just randomly deleted and that I totally didn't forget your names.
Also, I am totally down to play with you all if you want the kind of teammate that will bring a loaded medkit and never use it on themselves.
Seriously, it's become a problem.
I smell a SWF coming up with the forum homies. And dw, I use a very useful and amazing perk called self care
-
I like to play so that I won't get hooked. I pack sprint burst, urban evasion, self care, and kindred to see where the killer goes and also to see if I should keep working on a gen or go for the save! But as long as you're a good sport, any build is good :)!

I feel like I'm triiping balls whenever I blink, the camera doing that nyoomy thingy makes me more scared than any matches I've played as survivor!!!

Languages and cultural studies! Ever since I was a baby I've been so interested in how people live and communicate. I'm with you. 7 gens, that is excessive. I mean who is OP facing a full 4 man of the top streamers.
Swf is still beatable. It is a small minority of superior teams. The rest aren't even that good, let alone 7 gens good.
In a SWF I'm barely good at 1 gen because I get distracted so easily lol! But seriously, I have faced some SWFs that are quite nice and don't all swat team me as Plague because I'm super new to her, but I have faced some as GF where they run around me in circles while I carry someone and then flash their light at me over and over again to get my attention. Not too fun, but I'll take it over a DC haha :)
-
Wow... are SWF groups usually toxic enough to make gen speeds go down 75% and have 7 gens to repair? I have played with my friends a few times and we were pretty tame, and I remember one time when my friends left and the nurse main that got 0 hooks was standing there I dropped my item and made her hook me. Not all groups are out to deck you. I've had my share of mean teams but in the end I just gave in and thought 'well, if they're gonna win, may as well be a good sport about it' and we all teabagged at the gates,,,, my babies I miss them everyday!!! I guess what I'm trying to say is, if they are one of the mean groups, either accept your defeat and have fun, or go to the Corner of Shame™ Good luck in your next matches, and I hope you encounter a nice SWF soon! They can be charming :)!

It usually has to do with the garbage matchmaking system that's currently in place. It tends to roll in rank 10s and above when your in the red ranks and they usually end up tunneling. I've also noticed that they're usually console players, not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Regarding the console thing, I have had a lot of PC tunnelers and serious sluggers. Every platform has them lol. I'm on xbox and before crossplay a lot of killers had new, advanced strategies in the higher ranks, so it may also depend on rank and MMR
-
Oi vey, I hate hardcore tunneling and, well, tunneling in general. I can't convince people to play differently and I won't send salty messages either, but I definitely won't have fun lol! All you can do is move on to your next match and hope for the best, y'know? I always remind myself that their strategy, although one that I find counterproductive, is their strategy. Sometimes we adapt, and sometimes we stick to the same stuff. I used to throw down a pallet when the killer was walking over to me, and then my brain expanded and while I suck at looping, I have learned to stand at the pallet and challenge the killer lol! Same goes for tunneling and camping. It's common in lower ranks, but I think that's because they're new and it's the simplest way to eliminate a player. And I don't think you're entitled for this, it isn't a fun strategy on either side and it's predictable-- I always rescue teammates, but sometimes they suicide on hook or know that struggling is a good distraction, so then everyone has time to do gens and we get closer to escaping.
-
I only use the key to track survivors, but one time mid chase with doctor i found the hatch and dipped with two teammates dead and last one struggling. I was on death hook and I felt so bad, but I also felt like such a gamer lol. But yeah, I think it's more fun to work for your sacrifices or escape, because doing no gens and having a key makes a match way less fun!
-
Never thought I'd say this but in a roblox version of dbd if the killer was camping the hook was paused unless they left. Maybe roblox has the right idea lol. I do love the intimacy of Billy staring into my eyes and hitting me from time to time though
-
Awww I love stuff like this!!! I've always wanted to do a SWF or custom match with some of the users on here but my anxiety is so huge lol! But I can't stop myself from letting these users know I adore them so here we go ;w;
@GoodBoyKaru for being so nice and funny and, ofc, sharing thirst with me <3
@Slashstreetboy for being the kindest person and literally an amazing forum member (I hope the ban lifts soon <3!!)
@Jyn_Mojito my auntie on the forums, a true queen, we stan <3! Literally huggin everyone and I'm here for it :)
@lowiq for being smart despite the username, and also giving me amazing advice so thank you for that <3!!
I have a lot of love to give so I would name all the nice people on here but I'm an idiot and can't remember everyone's names hhhhh so good luck in your next matches and have fun everyone :)!!!
-
I love undying especially if they sprinkle in a haunted ground because DANG that makes for an interesting game. I like a challenge, and it also let's us survivors know that two perk slots are dedicated to bones, so wiping them out wastes it! I also am a sucker for the blight and his perks, he's got some fun stuff goin on lol :)
-
You fool, you absolute buffoon, what about when I exit the parameters while being carried and smack that sweet pallet down because blood favour couldn't reach it? Unless there's a hook very, very close to us, in which case I am the fool, the absolute buffoon and, in this case, a dunce lol
-

They mean against slugging, since you can pick yourself up. I personally like the perk a lot, but I never know if I'm going to get slugged or placed against an undying killer
-
I'm sorry that happened!Sometimes when I befriend a survivor and lead them to unhook they start teabagging and being rude, and I usually shake my head to tell them to save them. Also, I like to point at the killer when they walk up to me, and sometimes they mistake it for me trying to sandbag and I feel awful about it because I don't have post game chat. It's good to be playful even in serious matches, but being rude doesn't help anyone. I hope your next matches are better and fun! Good luck, bubbale :)!

@CheyeneKL said:
Console players get mad when you say it but in my opinion, yeah there is a difference between console and pc. My BF and I can guess with like... 95% accuracy when a killer is console. The difference is real and it's noticeable. It's not their fault, either.
I started playing on the switch, have about 800 hours there. I switched to PC in summer and have about 200 hours on there.
When I played on switch BEFORE crossplay, I had ZERO issue staying as a rank 1 survivor. As soon as I put crossplay on to play with my pc friends, we of course got red rank pc killers most matches. And even with a full SWF, I could NOT stay rank 1. I struggled to even stay in red ranks because I simply couldn't handle what PC players were dishing out to me. I'm not sure what it's like for ps4 and xbox, but if it is anything like the switch (which is by far, the console with the worst performance when it comes to running DBD) you are simply at too much of a disadvantage. You cannot loop tightly on switch, you have crazy frame drops, and it even feels like you are running slower than you should be (I'm not the only one to feel this way- other switch players regularly complain about this). I constantly got hit through vaults, dead hard was COMPLETELY useless, and you could even get hit at the beginning of your Sprint Burst in ways that NEVER happen to me on PC. This was not related to dedicated servers, either. I regularly play with another friend who is still on the switch and I see her having the same issues.
As soon as I switched to PC, I had no issues at all staying at rank 1, even without having access to the perks I usually run on my old switch account AND while learning mouse and keyboard after being a controller player. Performance is just so much better on PC compared to console.
HOWEVER, I do think that console players will catch up to PC now that they have the newest generation of consoles out. I think the biggest thing holding survivors back was the performance. Killers may still have a bit of an issue just because of controller limitations, but I assume they'll also do better. While I do tend to see a higher percentage of good PC players than console players, I HAVE seen plenty of good console players, too. They usually fare better when the killer is console, too, though. And of course- there are potatoes on every platform and I've played with hundreds of horribly awful red rank PC players.
So to answer your question, if newer consoles weren't out now, I'd say, yes, console players should be considered lower rank by the game's matchmaking system. But with new consoles+better performance, there really won't be anything holding them back and they absolutely should not be scared of crossplay.
I had a hard time entering red ranks before cross play, but since then it has been more swift. I recently hit a rough patch going from 4 to 6 after the reset started giving me brown and green MMR. Anyways, practice makes perfect. I played completely custom games with my friends for the first two or three months before touching solo q, and I think that helped me get comfortable with a controller and which perks would aid my play style. I think custom is a great way to learn if you want to play seriously, and then moving on to cross play online helps advance that. The only thing that sucks as a console killer is the insane 360s you get, but there are simple counters and you can usually predict who will do them and also learn about your own blind spots. I guess what I'm trying to say is that everyone can get better, and practicing helps :)

Skill may be across all platforms but the matchmaking isn’t. The period before cross-platform was available and the option to opt out of cross-platform has impacted the matchmaking, what’s required to reach Red Rank on one platform is different from another.
I guess I just see it a different way. I don't mind having cross play and find it to be a nice challenge, and I have met high ranks from all platforms that seem well placed, especially since no game is the same. You have so many variable in matches, so one person dying early may be a skilled player encountering a rough patch or having a bad counter to a killer. I don't like assuming the worst, and I have experienced amazing players across ranks and platforms. I myself am on console and have been playing for a few months, and I have considered leaving the community when I see so many posts about why console players suck or things of that nature, and it makes me feel like I secretly do suck at the game but don't realize it. Ugh, I guess all I can do is hope you encounter better cross play teammates, and good luck :)!

counter play of not downing people at pallets?
You walk by a pallet and you get stunned if they've wiggled over 25%, but I don't think it will be too bad really. There are only so many pallets, and people tend to use them in chases. I think it's a great perk, but I can see why people might think it's OP. I think it has great potential against slugging since people may use it with flip flop and cause tension. I look forward to the end result!

I used to play on console (Xbox One) but I've just recently moved to PC. And to be frank, from personal experience, I didn't find PC players to be any better than console players. Console players were a bit more annoying yes, (it was like every ps4 killer I faced brought a mori or some type of op add on XD). And there was a really good Nurse on PC that I just have to applaude. But do I think any platform has some type of competitive advantage against another? Not really.
I see no difference. Legit. I play on xbox and some PC players are bad, others good. That goes for all platforms. I don't get this whole, weird PC ego I have seen around the forums, where it's like they're talking to mere mortals that pallet drop too much or don't do gens right lmfao. I just don't get it, but I hope people realize that skill is across all platforms, not just one.

Solo is a nightmare with it on, but I personally find it adds some ~spice~ to the match, because we all obliterate the bones
-
I once got griefed super hard by a SWF. I was hooked and they came over, teabagged, and spammed unhook on me for a minute before teabagging and running away. I didn't find it funny bc, let's face it, they were being a major arse. I didn't spectate because I didn't want to see if they won or not, but I was so pissed.
