I just hook the 3rd and hope I can find the last survivor. Unless I know where they are or they're asleep as Freddy. I just want to get to the next match.
-
What is there to be against? I agree with your other statement. I just don't see why they couldn't make better rewards AND allow you to sell the garbage offerings.
-
Yeah. I think bp offering in general should be 100% for a brown, 150% for yellow, and 200% for green. You spend 3k for a brown bp offering and at most you're only going to gain 4k for a net of 1k bp. Most games you're probably at a net loss. What in the hell is even the point to use them other than that they're in your inventory.
So much wasted offerings and items in the blood web. Why is a brown tool box 3k and also and add-on to increase charges by 15 also 3k. That doesn't even make sense. Honestly, I'd just prefer to spend 25k per level of perk and find items in-game.
I get that the grind is important in keeping players playing the game, but it really is out of hand.
-
For real though. Really good use a double blood point weekend right about yesterday.
-
I'm entitled to my opinion. Deal with it.
But in fairness, good killers don't need to run Billy to get 4ks against SWF. Hell, mediocre killers like myself can 4k with Freddy in high ranks against swf.
-
It takes skill to be a solid Billy. It just happens to take significantly less skill to be a solid Billy than any other killer in the game.
Billy games are usually as the original poster suggested even at red ranks. They just ping pong to different hooks. Match is over in 5 minutes. Yay.
-
Agreed. Can't even play solo right now. I left F13 to play this game and now I'm heading back apparently. At least you can play a game there.
-
Jane's underwear.
-
Others here have. Again, read better to post better.
-
I'm just pointing out that I find it funny that killers think using pallets is an exploit when most of the time you can hit them during the pallet animation. You trade a stun for a hit more times than not.
Read better to post better.
-
Killers crying about pallets, when half the time I get hit through the pallet drop animation anyway. Rich.
-
He should have 110 speed or keep the 115 speed and lose the 1 hit downs. "Most balanced killer in the game" is a silly statement. On console he is the best killer in the game. All billly games are just hook, bbq to next guy, 1 hit down, hook, go back to first hook, repeat.
Seems like I'm in the minority here though.
-
I actually think you should max at survival if you escape or killer dc's. If you leave in the hatch you should get less points. But that's just my opinion.

I'll like to see the blood point offerings get some love because you rarely make a profit from them. I'm talking about the 50%, 75%, and the 100% in a single category offerings.
Agreed. 100.

My idea is to eliminate the ebony mori and yellow mori completely.
Make the ivory in the killers base kit. Give a token for each survivor's first hook. If a killer has hooked everyone and four survivors are alive, he can than mori the next survivor he downs. I'd also give killers a blood point bonus for using the mori as well.
It rewards killers for not just camping and tunneling a survivor early on. Killers know that at some point you can't let it get down to a 4 men 1 gen situation. So that is why they often tunnel and camp. This gives them incentive that if they work on spreading the damage they know they can always turn a lopsided game around by earning the mori (or they can still camp/tunnel if they choose). It's fair to the survivor because if one dcs (on accident or on purpose) or if a killer camps, then the mori is out of play.
That's just my take though.
-
I think Hillbilly is generally not fun to play against for the reasons that you mentioned. I also think Legion is generally not fun either but for opposite reasons. I don't dc, but I kind of don't blame others for doing so.
But not every killer can be fun to go against I guess.
-
I only used ruin while i was trying to get my evil iii mori trophy. Other than that I just never use it, even at high ranks. I just don't like hex perks.
-
I think mori should be part of the game, but not an offering. Just give a token for each survivor first hook. When you have hooked everyone once, you can use 1 mori. Promotes better game play as it rewards killers for not just tunneling the same player until they're dead.

I agree, Billy is balanced (most if the time) since his weakness is looping. We could add another weakness but I dont know if we can do that without butchering the character. For me, the most balanced killers are Huntress, Hag and Spirit. I would put Nurse there due to her learning curve but even then she still practically ignores everything in the game. As for the addons you're talking about, they need nerfs. Maybe have it so that charge time can't stack or something. That would solve the problem without making the addons useless.
He doesn't even have a looping weakness. He has 115 speed.

I have the most fun versing billy's, most fun and fair killer to verse, and I know he's high tier so I do my best to buy as much time as possible but use as less pallets as possible.
But by that logic, "yawn is it boring to verse survivors, they do gens and escape. YAWN, so boring, yaaaaaawn"
We have differing opinions. I stand by mine. Usually pretty boring matches on my end.
Also, that's a pretty weak comparison. Not all killers have speed to zoom across the map and instadown. Survivors have one objective, but multiple perks to allude the killer, heal faster, complete gens faster, etc.
-
When you're on a hook and another survivor is being chased and they run towards you while they're on the hook.

@Wolf74 said:
But 86% are using it. You can turn it like you want. The MAJORITY of survivor is running it.
The pickrate of SC is of the charts… no other perk has a pickrate like that. Not even Ruin or BBQ. SC reigns supreme. That's what it is. And it is picked that often for a reason. It is unbalanced af. And everybody -including the Devs- knows it.
Not questioning you, but where do you find these stats?
-
I don't know what the solution is. But he is boring AF to play against. Instadown, hook, bbq and sprint, instadown, sprint back to the guy who was hooked first. Yawn.
I don't know what the answer is. I get why killers don't want him nerfed. But man is he boring to go up against.
-
Wait times only to get dodged (mostly swf, but sometimes as solo)
Inconsistent pallets
The grind (no being able to sell useless items/offerings)

I never use Ruin or Noed. I have more good than bad games and I have 4 perks all game.
I focus on trying to have fun and getting blood points. This makes the game much more relaxing for me as killer. I understand the frustration but this game only gets to you if you are expecting a certain result instead of going with the flow.
Same here. Sometimes I get shat on. Most times I do not. I don't consider myself to be a great killer either. I try my best and realistically if I get all four bbq stacks and some good chases, hooks I consider it a good game. I don't need a 4k to consider it a successful match.
Some of these killers just need to have some perspective on this game.
Also, on the games I get rolled in, sometimes it is actually my fault. I may stay on a chase too long or miss on swings. Like believe it or not, sometimes you have to hold yourself accountable for a piss poor round. Learn and move on to the next one.
-
Yep. It's dumb.
-
Mori spamming I guess.

More and more reasons for ranks to not exist at all.
Amen. Totally unnecessary in this game. If it's a mismatch then the game is done in 5 minutes anyway. On to the next one.
But nope. We have a convoluted ranking system that slows down matchmaking and yet also offers zero reward. Ok...

LOL . Just a wild guess but what if she meand "free escape" as a figure of speach ? Come on dude she was not being litteral ! Just as if I was telling you : "it rains cats and dogs", would you tell me how it is physically impossible, or would you let it go with the flow of the conversation ?
Anyway, I truly liked how you handled the argument, with a swiff of philosophy and the concrete definition of the "free" word ...
but you might want to pick better fights next time 😅
Even if it's a figure of speech it isn't true either. I have been killed many times trying to find the hatch. So even if the hatch is in play, by no means does it ensure victory.

I'm really excited for Plague and Jane. Situational Perks but really unique and can add some great surprise to the game. I think Corrupt Intervention may be better than some initially boo'ing it. It has solid potential at slowing the early game down a great deal... and forcing Survivors to move towards the Killer than work on a couple Gens safely and as soon as they start the match
Agreed. Getting off to a good start is a majority of the battle in many games.

I play rank 1 and don't run ruin. Once on a while I get "gen rushed" but usually it's my fault if I get smoked. Also, even if they get off to a hot start that doesn't mean things can't snowball on them if you get some hits/downs off of multiple survivors.
-
Lol at people saying Billy.
Probably Myers. He has snowball potential without immediate and unlimited instadowns.
-
Sloppy is a great perk. I use it on most of my killer builds. It probably could use a little nerf, but until then I'll probably be using it more times than not.

I've had that happen to me once, literally as the panning was happening, I could hear the heartbeat. I was against Billy and Billy was facing me. luckily he went easy on me because of it but not everyone is gonna be so lucky
Same. But my Billy chainsawed me and camped. Then he messaged me after the game too. :T

I can deal with that if they basically want to go 3v1.

None of my swf group uses this perk, but I also don't see what the big deal is.
-
I actually like the keys as a killer. I know it's weird, but I always get a chuckle when I realize that was their plan. It's over powered, but I prefer a key escape too teabags at an exit gate.
Eboni mori's are more cheese to me. They should get rid of these. Personally I think mori's should be in every killer's build once you've hooked everyone at least once. That promotes not just tunneling and camping one guy. It rewards you for spreading out the punishment which is more fun for everyone.

Add it to small game.

What do you mean waiting so long? The new killer is due in March and looks to be on track. Even if it was delayed by a week or two that's really no big deal, not compared to most games.
Honestly, The legion's chapter was nonexistent to me.
Another male survivor.
A mediocre killer at best.
Useless perks for the most part.
And the new map causes frame drops for my computer. It's been like 6 months that we didn't get anything.
Jeff has two good perks too (prevents aura reading) and breakdown. -
If it's a mismatch every single game, then yeah, I could see what you're saying. If it's 1 out of 10 games or something like that, who cares? Get over it and hope for a better game next time around. Even with rank how it is now, sometimes you're gonna get rekt as a killer or a survivor. It's just a game.Orion said:@malloymk said:
Quitters never prosper. If a newbie killer gets rolled in five minutes they can hope for a bettrr match up the next game. Plenty of survivor games already end in minutes of you get found, camped or tunneled. It's life, you win some you lose some. It's not like these are 30 minute games where you're getting smoked the entire time. You can't logic people into playing a game they don't enjoy. Platitudes have never helped anyone.

I'd rather occasionally play a mis-match game than sit in a lobby for 20 minutes. I hope they work out the bugs, but I'm not too upset about it.Also, iron sharpens iron. Playing against superior competion can be a bummer at that moment, but if you're not a quitter and take the time to learn what the opposition is doing to beat you, you can actually use that info to become a better player.
Both sides' newbies are going to quit if they have to "occasionally" play unwinnable rounds. Keeping it like this is a recipe for disaster.

Springwood. Played with a rando who was so bad he did less than nothing. We got down to two people and enough gens were done where I could see that the hatch was in the basement. It became a matter of who the killer could find first, me or ######### rando. Unfortunately, I was found and hooked first. So now it's just rando and he is heading toward the school. I message him on PS4 and say it's by the ambulance. So he detours away from the school and toward the ambulance where he is found and downed. I messaged him that I was lying and it was in the basement. I said next time actually try to be a decent teammate and do other things besides hide for 15 minutes.

As a survivor I don't always get to see the killer's name beforehand. There are definitely toxic killers that I'd like to avoid playing as well. So if survivors have to deal with not knowing if they're playing someone toxic, why shouldn't killers?Master said:@TheBean said:

Its totally ok to dodge lobbies, the devs dont bann for it. And it doesnt matter whether you it once per day to dodge a certain guy, whether you dodge every SWF or whether you dodge 100 lobbies in a row just becuase you feel like itI don't care if they don't ban for it.
I'm curious though if the Devs actually want killers to dodge lobbies based on the survivors being SWF. The Devs provide a clear picture of who is in the lobby and what items, but no clear picture of determining if the survivors are SWF. You can look at profiles, if they aren't private.
Access to profiles can be given at the end of the match, in the summary. Is it really needed in the initial lobby?
You can make your profile private, but then some killers will dodge if everyone has a private profile in their lobby. So why not just remove that whole criteria in the first place.
It isn't about stopping lobby dodging but minimizing it, by not providing criteria that the developers don't intend you to use as a reason to dodge.
** This is all based on if they don't want you to use SWF as a reason, since their actions so far show that they don't. IMO Cause if they did want killers to dodge based on that info, then it should be provided.
So lets only talk about dodging SWF now.
Your suggestion to remove the names would also disable the killer from dodging known "toxic" survivors or streamers (like I do e.g.). However if they are not able to dodge them in lobby, they will simply DC ingame because you cant force them to play vs them. I doubt that this is a good solution tbh.And there is a difference between enabling a SWF-filter mechanic that enables the killer to only search for solo survivors or making them go thruogh the effort of manually lobby dodging them.

I'm on console so nurse is either really weak or super strong. Either way, I very much enjoy playing against a nurse.

I can't imagine being afraid of playing a video game. It looks like many of you are. Kind of sad really. Literally the worst case scenario is that you lose.

it's hard enough finding killers that won't dodge as it is. If lobby dodgers left completely it wouldn't really change things would it?PiiFree said:I can asure you that if Killers won't be able to tell who's SWF anymore, many will stop playing Killer or DbD entirely.
