I like that as Plague you can puke on the Myers Jackolantern and it stays on there for a bit.
-
Bad idea. Particularly when the game is down to 2-3 and there is 1-2 gens left. Pretty much makes it improbable to finish off that last gen.
-
Small game needs a totem counter. No brainer that should have been implemented a long time ago.
Probably combine some perks like wake up and hope, wglf amd we'll make it, premonition and alert.
-
Key escapes never bother me for some reason.
Kind of fun to me.
-
My wife loves using breakdown. Every once in a while it comes into play for a wiggle out for someone else.
The aura reading is nice.
-
Missed skill check aura reading should just be part of the base killer kit.
One- it's a sensible buff for ALL killers
Two- how many times have I been on a gen with someone, they screw up the skill check and I end up being the one that gets chased (or vice versa). Penalize the idiot that screwed up the skill check.

I feel like people are overreacting to Plague.
Her power basically reads: "Everyone is permanently Broken unless they give me a Machine Gun."
How is that not good? Killers are overdramatizing this. She can still goop up everything, and it's really nasty. She can use her power just fine even if Survivors choose not to heal up.
It's just the same as Hag. You can choose to slow your game down crabwalking everywhere or just run around willy nilly and give in to her power.
I do not understand why people think that being Broken all game, not to mention oozing an awful green cloud that prevents stealth and coughing and vomiting the entire game is an inconsequential thing.
It's crazy.
Agreed 100%. I'm not a plague main, but enjoy using her. I love when players stay broken. Sometimes I think players overthink their strategy.
-
I actually do decent at Suffocation Pit.
Haddonfield is tough, but I hate Ormund. Super easy to loop against me. Auras barely work. Big map. I'm not a DC'er but if I was it would be so I avoid Ormund.

I'd say We'll Make It, but nowadays I find it almot useless: if the killer doesn't come back asap after the unhook (which is rather common) the other guy most of the times runs away, making you waste a ton of time.
I wouldn't recommend it for solo survivors.
Yeah. I run we'll make it with friends, but randos will either run accross the map or straight up not let you heal them anywhere. So I pass on any healing perks with randos.

The grind needs to be lessened for sure. It's too much.

I honestly see both sides complain a lot but i will agree survivors tend to complain a lot.
You notice it because there are 4x as many survivors as there are killers.
That's it. Killers complain, boast, act toxic as much as survivors. There are less of them though.
People in general are dicks. Especially online and even moreso in a competitive environment.
-
I bet you notice survivors complain/boast about 4 times as much as killers.
-
Small game needs a totem counter.
Exits need to be on opposite walls at the very least.
I would make ivory mori basekit if you've hooked all 4 survivors and all 4 survivors are still in the game.
I would change ruin. I think it should be basekit and works except when a survivor is on a hook or until the first survivor dies.
I would revert it to where the hatch only spawns if two gens have be have been done.
-
Fred A. As trutalent calls him.
-
Trying on plague as it's the only trophy I don't have. It's very difficult. 4k with 3 iridescents and a silver (chase) just a 1 pip. They didn't even get 4 gens done.
Silly.

@T0xicTyler the devs also referred to the Evil Dead dlc as a “chapter” before it’s release
I only remember them calling it a paragraph.
-
4k 3 iridescent 1 bronze = 1 pip.
Like c'mon.
-
I tunnel if
You're a dousche
Or
There are more survivors left than generators. At that point I pretty much have to get someone removed from the game to change the game back in my favor.

@Orion F13 sold 2 million copies. That's hardly a flop. The failure of the dev team to fix long standing bugs, poor communication with the community, and balance issues caused it's decline. Also the lawsuit bringing new content to a hault didn't help. Even with all that it's still doing okay on console. PC is where it died off pretty quickly.
Illfonic was a major part of that failure. I'm sure Bhvr is really losing sleep over losing some players for a couple of weeks until players find and abuse game breaking glitches.
You do know that people still abuse the roof glitch in F13 THAT EXISTED AT LAUNCH.
-
I play as Freddy often. I'll say this- even though it would be a pain in the ass- party starters/firecrackers should wake survivors up because logic.
But really it's already too easy to wake up most the time.

My point is
Have you ever played F13?
If you have, Why wasn't you playing dbd?
Dbd lost an active player when you were playing F13.
Same case when Predator HG comes out too.
Lol I was a diehard F13 player that left to play DBD. Good point though lol.
-
Illfonic did a terrible job with F13 well before the lawsuit.
-
Adept trophies for killers should just be rewarded for 4k, not 2pip.
-
Lol. Beats sitting in a lobby.
-
I'm about a 2:1 survivor main. You have raised all fair points. I think stealth killers would be completely unviable though if you know ahead of time who the killer is. I wish both sides would play it out regardless. Games only last about 10 minutes. Even if you get rolled, it's not like you're stuck playing a 30 minute game or something like that.
-
What a dumb post.
-
I think for survivors I could see going 5 or 6 with 3 of those being the perks specific to each survivor. But it's probably just fine how it is now.

Hmmm, I wonder if you're referring to me. Even though I explicitly said I don't think survivor or killer should get free stacks. Instead the DC bonuses should be larger, for both sides. The bias!
I guess I'm truly stupid and biased for having a different opinion about something ultimately inconsequential.
Well, your opinion in this case is half right. You should get more points in general for a dc. That has nothing to do with bbq stacks though. Like why on earth shouldn't you get a bbq stack if some yahoo dcs before you get them on a hook?

Would be better as a button sequence perhaps, but rocking the analog stick back and forth is terrible and destructive on a controller. Hopefully they consider a change to it.
Agreed they should just put both on a timer. It's not a skill thing anyway, you're legit just causing wear and tear on your $60 controller.
-
I legit said the same thing last night playing. Getting tunneled is a drag, don't get me wrong, but it's worse that I have tp spam x like a dweeb for a minute and a half or how ever long. Just make it a timer and be done with it.

A casual fun game?
Then I just ask, why do we have a competitive rankign system and dont evne have the chance to opt out of it via a casual mode?
The only reason rank exists os because they don't want some rank 20 player get steamrolled by a group of higher tiered players. There are no rank rewards. It's not competitve.
-
With this new system, why even worry about pipping?
-
They really should give us a double BP event since match-making has been so wonky recently.
-
This seems fake. But who knows? I think Hex totems should not light up until a certain time period (two minutes? Maybe more).

Not at all, survivors either hide for way too long entering and getting out of lockers or they'll just genrush anyway, some maps are just too big and the reduced area that the perk provides is not enough...
I could see using it on Doctor because you can just find those hiders anyway, but otherwise it seems useless.
-
Posted this numerous times, but ebony mori's should be removed. Ivory mori should be base kit and reward the killer with more points. Ivory mori activates when each survivor has been hooked once.
-
Depends on the killer. Lately I've been farming for bp with doctor. Bbq, distressing, can't think of the name but it gives you 50% bonus for hunting, and ruin.
-
There are several perks to help prevent gen rush.
-
Try to find a hook. If they break out try to down them again. If other body block, enjoy getting a hit on them.
Not hard.
-
It's near impossible to rank up as survivor (was at 2, now hover around 5 or 6). But on the brightside, I no longer care if I pip. I just play to escape and get points. More fun anyway. Not sure why the devs feel like a ranking system improves this game.
Just have no ranks, first come first serve. Wait times would be decreased. If it's a easy game it will be done in 5 minutes anyway.
-
Don't forget to sabo them corner of the map hooks!
-
Probably around 5 minutes. Doesn't happen that often though. On to the next game.
-
1 time. Lol.
-
Depends. Playing killer is more stressful than survivor, but most rounds I don't get too worked up. When I do, it's usually because I'm just playing like #########.
-
I don't care either way. Rank is meaningless.
-
Exactly. Not sure why anyone here would have a complaint about lowering the bloodpoint grind anyway. But there is always somebody it seems.
-
As killer- Ormund. Big. The bi-level middle building is easy to get looped around. Objects that are easy to get stuck with because the killer's line of sight it terrible.
Survivor- Swamp maps. Hard to find totems or the hatch. Ugly to look at.
-
Rotten Fields. Ormund is worse than all of these though.
-
All bp offerings should be buffed.
-
Overcharge should just be part of a killer's base build.
