Killers complaint about snowmen. So probably next will be the grass or some trees
-
The solution is simply. Add a new movement survs can use at hooks that means.. don’t unhook me. End of the problem.
-
You know this is a killers forum where killers cry 24/7, don’t you?

WHY should killers be punished for camping?
- Because the camped survivors don´t get a lot of bloodpoints? Same goes for the camping killer.
- Because getting camped is boring? Well guess what its like for the killer.
- Because camped survivors lower their mmr? A high mmr isn´t exactly something people should strive for. At least if they want to have any sort of fun.
When survivors only push gens (because its their only objective, asside from totems, chests, hook rescues and heals) and even camp them, its considered as playing efficiently. But when killers camp their only objective its considered something worthy of punishment? Like... really?
So i ask again, WHY should killers be punished for camping?
Because camping and tunneling give them kills they don’t deserve, same as noed, and they rank up and they feel they’re semigods, and finally they play with survs better than them and they come here crying 24/7

I arguably played more Killer than Survivor with more than 3K hours in the game now. But I played Survivor for a fair amount, I would guess in a 1:3 ratio (it becomes more and more survivor lately, because for obvious reasons). I have never played a single game in a SWF so far, all my games were in Solo queue. Of course, it can be frustrating, when you get steamrolled by the killer because of obvious mistakes done by yourself or your teammates. But this is still not comparabale to the frustration you feel, when you are playing Killer in higher MMR. I stopped playing my main Killer (Oni) a while ago, because I get matched against people, who know exactly how to outplay him (which is not too hard against the Oni) and deny me from my power while being in a chase and gens are popping left an right. This has created the feeling of complete loss of control over the game and being in the grace of survivors, which should never be the case if you are playing the so called "power role". A Killer, that I played well over 1K hours feels completely useless against a group of coordinated survivors (they don't even have to be on comms, just pressure the gens fast enough and I am in big trouble). Of course, I will make mistakes in my games (which is pretty normal), probably even more when I get stressed out. But the bad thing about playing Killer is, that every single mistake can cost you the game and gets punished very hard. Especially with the Oni: If you ######### up your Blood Fury once and get no downs, your game is most likely lost in a match where all 5 gens are done in 5-6 minutes. This led me to play other Killers, that I have a lower MMR with. I am not expecting the games going too good for me, not making myself any stress and don't overdo playing Killer (mostly only for the dailies and the tome challenges). I try to play fair, split the hooks evenly between the survivors and hope that everyone has a good match. And I have to admit that this has been the best decision I ever made in the game! I can enjoy the few matches of Killers that I do (I am currently playing DBD between 10-20 hours a week) and don't have to deal with high MMR stress any longer (still feeling sad for my Oni though).
In Survivor Solo queues, you usually got teammates being smacked down within the first 20 seconds of the game. But nevertheless, I can manage to escape in about 50% of my games. And for the other 50%, there is usually never (except for the very few games, we get steamrolled with 4-5 gens left) the feeling of being completely powerless against the Killer. You rather notice, which wrong decisions/mistakes you or your teammates might have done during the match, which lead to a specific unfavorable situation (teammates being chased running towards a hooked survivor, 3-genning yourselves, not focusing on gens, not knowing how to use pallets in the best ways etc..). It rarely happens, that I get facecamped or tunneled. And if so, I can still buy my team a lot of time, if the Killer decides to do so (that is why I love to equip Kindred, one of the best perks in Solo Q). Nevertheless, I still would say that Survivor is way easier than Killer (skill cap based and based on the stress level). Don't get me wrong, there are some Survivors out there with very high skill, knowing how to use loopspots most efficiently, using their camera the optimal way, knowing how to use their flashlight (yes, this is probably the hardest part about survivor gameplay :D) etc.. This is also the reason, why many people choose to main Survivor or former Killer mains switch to Survivor.
Still not hating on Survivor mains. They are just using the many tools that the game has given to them. They have the power role when it comes to "competitive gameplay levels", no arguing here.
If you made it until here, thank you for reading :).
You don’t need to win because you have 1k hours. You know survs can have 1000 hours also, don’t you ?
-
The problem with killers is that they think win is 4k but they think winning as surv is 1 escape. Sorry, but you must compare 4k with 4 escapes. Or do you think 4 escapes is easier than 4k? You find killers who tell you they can facecamp at egc and it’s fair. This is the same as keys with the hatch visible at the begging of the match
-
Dh is the only reason I have fun in this game. It’s the only unpredictable thing you can do as survivor
-
You can’t write the word “Russian”. Imagine why?. 99% are campers
-
Stop camping and tunneling or using noed and you’ll play with survs with the same skills as you
-
You’ll see when they nerf camping and tunneling. Hordes of killers will come here crying blood.

I agree that at least half of high mmr survivors are being completely carried by this perk. It takes no skill whatsoever to dead hard to a safe pallet or a window. What bugs me the most is the small brain people that say "just bait it out." There is no bait it out when it's used for distance. What's worse about this is you do nothing to earn this strong game changing second chance perk, just be injured???? Seriously.
Let's not forget 4 man swfs that all have this junk equipped to make the killers game an absolute frustrating misery.
Same as killers with noed. If you see 0kills before egc, the killer uses noed. And then he came here complaining because survs are op
-
@CashelP14 said:
I don't know what you'd change. Problem though is any change will probably kill dead hard.
Which will cause every survivor to run Sprint Burst or Overcome instead and killers will be complaining about them.
Killers will complain anyway with any stuff surv would have.

Becuz u have to play perfect as killer to have a chance to 4k while surv can do mistakes and barely matters.
You know survivor equivalent to 4k is 4 escapes, don’t you? Do you think 4 escapes is easier?
-
@DragoonSanddune01 said:
its actually pretty simple just nerf the toolbox and the bonuses ... reduce the number of people able to work on the gen to 2 only and hten increase the time it take for gen to repair ... and randomized the skill check button with three button Space bar, E and Q.
And to make it even better. Make speed repair gen to be backward based on perks ... the more perks the suriviors has the Longer total time it takes to repair ... in a single run vs the lower end that get lower time to repair gen ( due to new and doesnt have certain perk ) as sort of scaling. Make it easier for new player to have a good match , but make it harder and harder for those that plays the game
And as a bonus each SWF member addes a +10% penalty to repair gen speeds ... or increase number of gen to be repaired by at most 2 extra ... so 1 main + 1-2 SWF = 1 extra gen but if it all 1main + 3 swf then + 2 gen.
It should be a scaling factor to make it more fun and challenging for SWF but also better for Killer retention rate.
Dont you prefer survs to start the game hooked?

Had a match as Bubba at Ormond against a 3man TTV swf, and a random.
I went in going okay, thus won't go well for me so chill, have fun, try for good mind games. That was my mindset.
Well, as predicted, gens flew. I mean flew. It was on of those 5 or 6 minute matches. However I did surprisingly well all things considered.
I mind gamed loops, and got hits. I downed with chainsaw when appropriate. I got more hooks than I thought I would have considering how fast it went.
In the end, I got 2k. Not bad for what I had to go with.
In the chat tho. They weren't mean but I was running NOED. They said NOED was lame. I kinda laughed considering 3 of them were running borrowed. One was running DS, 2 were running COH....
I mean... really tho? Your gonna complain about my 1 perk? To your how many second chance perks? I never understood that mentality.
As a survivor, when you go in knowing your geared up and notice in match 3 gens pop b4 the killer even gets 2 hooks don't you guys feel like the match is done at that point as well?
The sweat picks up. Why do you guys get mad about it? You feel and see that the game is flying by with hardly any chases so what exactly do you want?
Just do gens and go?
So why get mad at the end when things get crazy, and actually start turning? You get more points this way.
Why do so many survivors wanna blast out 5 gens and bounce in under 6 minutes? How is that fun?
if you see a killer with 0 kills before egc, he has noed 99% of times. This perk brings killers to play with people much much better than them. And then they come here crying because this game is not balanced. Worst designed perk in the entire game

To be fair, I think soon enough they'll do something about it Just because of the killers complains everywhere..
I think CoH might work in a stack feature or something, giving only 2/3/4 heals per totem between all survivors before being disabled, then, the surv needs to bless it again to work.
Killers complain 24 hours 7 days per week anyway. If they nerf COH next would be predrop, tapping gens, body blocking, gen times, doors opened to 99%, snowmen,... and 2 dozens of perks
-
Don’t worry. At low ranks killer is easy as hell. Soon you 4k every game.

You are neither omniscient nor a mind reader; it is not your place to administer karma by, again, doing the thing you're not meant to do.
Fair killers wants everyone to have fun, and I returned fun and bps for them. You can’t imagine how many killers let me escape anyway. And I’m always rank 1 survivor, so imagine how many good killers are out there.

So... "I don't like this person's tactic, I'm going to ragequit"? Heaven forbid that someone play the game they bought in a manner you don't personally like.
Denying people perk effects because of your warped misconception on how the game should be played is pathetic and churlish. The DC penalty is supposed to be an indicator that this isn't acceptable behaviour.
Well, I never escape against fair killers to compensate. I think I”m better for this game than those selfish killers

99% of times is 3 escapes and 1 dc, and the killer doesn’t write anything at the end. Yes, probably they are happy

So youre really just making sure you get no points...
But he doesn’t have b&c or other perk used. Also I would pay for see his face

No. I don’t promote trash people. If the killer tunnels me I dc at last hook

Nah, in EU before 8pm my survs queue time are about 5-10secs

I had a game earlier where me & my 3 survivor teammates all lined up as snowmen to get gas at autohaven.
Bubba just followed us all along the snow conga line then eventually decided enough was enough he needed that fuel for his chainsaw so nodded revved his chainsaw & there were no more snowmen left.
I also had a game against pig who was feeling less playful (nothing wrong with that btw) I was in a snowman following behind & stopping everytime it turned around. It point blank refused to hit me or any of my teammates who were by this point all in snowmen.
So I jumped out & the chase was on pig got me down eventually & put the bear trap on me.
I was hooked for a good while as gens popped all over the map when eventually unhooked I managed 3 jigsaw boxes (all the wrong one naturally while the pig just followed me waiting to down me if I got it off. With no time to to reach the last box & mere seconds from death I jumped into another snowman wanting to see what would happen when I died.
Pig wasn't having that either popped the snowman & left me slugged on the floor eventually slugged all 4 survivors & left everyone to bleed out.
Played about 15 games others were fairly standard affairs but those 2 were stand outs.
SOmeone tried to enter in a snowman with a trap in his head and let it explode?
-
Noed is the same as SWF. It brings people to a level they don’t deserve. And then you find them crying here about snowmen
-
this is a killers forum. Please, complain only about snowmen, they’re op
-
Ir you don’t like it (can’t imagine a reason out of the need for 4k every game) use clown. Bottles broke the snowman if someone is inside

I play very little killer, but you can imagine how difficult is when I face survs with 100 hours and less

Do you know nemesis playing fair has to hit survs 40 times to win? Someone thinks this is possible?

Dude survivors CONSTANTLY act like entitled babies. Survivors will be toxic midgame and in endgame chat regaurdless of the outcome of the game. They win they call u trash, you lose they call you trash AND a camper/tunneler. Also i play both sides and i gotta say survivor is so much easier and stress free its not even funny. A killer who wants to 4k needs to be both playing a viable killer, and against semi decent survivors has to make sure all his time is spent stopping gens and downing. If either takes too long even once they lose. I dont mind losing honestly. What does annoy me is when killers raise concerns about how survivor is power role in a 1v4 game and they get shut down as whiners. Killers are as at least as important as the survivors and eventually killers will keep getting tired of survivors having almost all the power.
Play as solo to 4 escapes could be as stressful as killer. The problem with killers with so many hours in this game is that they think they deserve 4k, and that’s not true
-
Guys, you’re crying here 24/7. If devs listen to all of you all survs would start the game hooked

I let the killer kill me if he played fair and has 0k

I'll explaint it so even a chimpanzee can understand. Assymetrical games by default have a role which is harder and requires more work to do well, in the case of DBD it's killer. It makes no sense to balance around 50/50 because this means that the easiest side is getting the same result as the hardest while putting way less effort. The role which you play alone and have to actually put more effort should by default have a higher win rate in assymetrical games. Among Us has a way bigger Imposter win rate, while Evolve had a 50/50 win rate, guess which one died and which one is still a huge success?
Survivor is already the less stressful role which also has the advantage of being able to be played with friends, if you also make it have the same results as killer, there's no real incentive to be playing killer, which is harder and can't be played with friends.
The latest stats revealed that the kill rate dropped from 68% to 53%, at the same time people start complaining even more that survivor queues have been longer during peak hours. Why do you think that's the case? Or you're one of those that believe "mMr iS jUsT bUgGeD?"
Well, play surv if playing killer is stressful for you. Or if you want to win more, get better

I disagree.
A 2K at 4 hooks with NOED is different then a 2K with 10 hooks.
Yet, according to those Kill Rates, those matches are the exact same.
And a mercy hatch escape is different from a escape through the doors. And??

Probably he is low mmr, because every killer complaining in this forum always play against a death squad swf

False logic. Killers camp, tunnel and slug cause that's most optimal way to play and give you actually chance to win even against decent survivors.
There were good alternatives (3-gen,hit&run), but those got removed with CoH.
Yes, it’s the easy way. But playing like that they win matches they don’t deserve and end playing with people better than them, and come here crying every day

This is a killer forum. That’s not a problem. The problem is when a noed camper killer rank up and find a semi good SWF. Then he came to cry here because he can’t 4k

@UMCorian said:
IMHO: This is the biggest problem with playing Killer at most levels of DBD - if you don't 3 or 4K, the game feels like you lost.
Take Survivor, you can still objectively have a fun, rewarding experience even if the killer 3Ks. Hell, sometimes even dying to insure the killer only 3Ks is still a fun, rewarding experience.
Imagine how bad this game would feel like as a Survivor, if even if you escaped, you felt like it was a loss unless everyone also escaped?
Yet, playing killer, failing to kill 2... and watching the survivors teabag you in the gate until you eventually escort them on their way feels like a loss.
Whether this is a community created perception image or something the game somehow cultivates, I think everything would get better if they found a way to fix this... because right now the Devs balance the game around 2 kills, 2 escape. Because of that, they're always going to seem to be against killers... because the very nature of their game design is to balance the killer around having a game that's perceived (by the community) to be a loss.
The game needs to feel better for a killer who only gets 2 kills... if this is how the Devs want to balance it.
That’s only true with old killers that played years ago, when they used to 4k. I expect new killers that come to the game and play fair and will be happy if they get 3k
-
Kill rate is above 50%. If you can’t kill survs you’re bad, that’s all

This is exactly why. In any business you need to cater to the majority. BHVR does this well. Survivors outnumber killers 4 to 1. Survivor players buy more cosmetics, they bring in their friends to play with them, in turn they buy cosmetics etc.. it's a snowball effect.
If the game is too hard for the survivors they will not want to play as much. They will not bring in friends. It just makes business sense.
They know people will play killer. They have too many good licensed killers. People will play them. They know that.
Swf is an advantage. People should not be punished for playing with friends. However it IS an advantage. Have they givin the killers anything to compensate for that? No they have not. I'm not sure what they could do but at least do something.
This game shows it favors one side over the other, but again it makes business sense. When your company is about making money it makes sense. It sucks, but what can we do?
Solo IS a disadvantage. Did bhvr something? Put a totem counter in small game?
