First of all, i am NOT against some solo buffs to bring them on par with SWF etc, i even want some buffs.

(with this i mean that i want information buffs for solos, nothing else)

But i keep seeing people crying for killer nerfs and hardcore survivor buffs just because they have bad experiences as solos.

More often then not they then blame the killers and act like the game is extremly unbalanced which is simply not the case.

The reason why solo is so hard is because of YOU or YOUR teammates.

Either YOU screw your mates over with sonethng or YOUR mates screw something over.

Most DBD players are really bad and most of them are playing solo which causes your games to have alot of survivors who just insta drop every pallet (even if the killer isnt even chasing them...) or you get survivors who dont do gens, dont go for unhooks, DC on first down and all this stupid stuff.

The thing is, while getting them in your team is extremly frustrating, you can only blame your team and not the killer or the game balance.

IF they would ,,balance" the game in a way one survivor is able to simple erase the tons of errors their mates made and is able to easily finish all the gens and totems by themselfs if needed (because of bad mates), how do you think is the killer supposed to have a chance?

    Its a 1vs4.

    Its a teamgame.

You have to work together to escape and if your team does bad plays, your whole team has to live with it.

You just shouldnt be able to easily do everything alone in a 1vs4 because this would just destroy the meaning of the game and the balance.

Did you ever won a match with a decent random team and was like ,,Damn we won, some things on our side should get nerfed so the other side can stand a chance."?

I never saw anyone saying something like that.

Its always someone instantly crying for buffs for their side or nerfs for the other side if they lose.

Also this isnt a us vs them, it goes BOTH ways so dont even try to start a war here now.

I actually made a discussion called “Solo que is unplayable” and I said that killers need buffs and solo doesn’t really need any honestly in a response to someone. What I said we need in solo que was actually teammates with a brain and not idiots running around getting u killed.

    @deKlaw_04 said:

No it’s not because of the killers, it’s your own teammates. I have been playing survivor games and my teammates have been horrible (and the killer have been good gotta give them credit). This past game was the nail in the coffin. I got sent to Penn Asylum with a feng, Meg and nea. Feng was on her first hook while everyone else was haven’t been injured. 2 gens done and I completed the 3rd ok. I’m on my way to get the feng and the hag teleports to me out of the blue and hits me into a wall with no escape. Fine well played hag you got me. They get the feng off and I get hooked. The nea gets chased and the Meg and feng heal. ok. The nea is still getting chased and then they hoop into a gen as soon as I get into second state. I’m over here shocked as they didn’t even try to go and get me. I died on first hook. Then this is what this guy tells me

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/S1NJ4VMHD28M/5f5273f2-4f68-43f1-a006-f85f85216455.jpeg

Seriously, you haven’t even been hooked. The hag had two hooks. Did they make it out? Who knows but why do I keep getting so many bad teammates. “I didn’t want to die” you haven’t been hooked yet there is no excuse for that BS. Letting someone die on first hook. And the feng and the Meg were on comms too makes it worse. And this is why I like playing killer more than solo que. It’s all on me. (I did camp this toxic flashlight clicking Claudette that was satisfying and I chilled with the other 3 survivors and let them go)

btw it’s supposed to say two* instead of too my mistake in the messages.

    read the very first sentence😭

  • @FFirebrandd said:

If I may, that can actually backfire as well. Let me tell you, losing a gen before you've even started your first chase because you guessed wrong on where literally all the survivors spawned is not a good feeling.

....and it feels great. I had to share the story here.

Well, when I enter the lobby, I see four guys (and girls) with cosmetics and flashlights. I knew right then and there what was going on. My suspicions are confirmed when an offering shows up as the game is loading - we're going to The Game. Dammit.

Well, Hex: Ruin is gone immediately, of course, and I had switched out Undying for Lightborn. Crap. I find some survivors and chase them around a bit. I get some downs, and there are bodyblocks, attempted flashlight saves (glad I ran Lightborn), pallets, looping... the whole shebang.

One of the weaknesses of teams like this is their willingness to take risks, so I camp every other hook (both to confuse them and to get downs), and eventually, I get two of them on deathhook, down them, and Mori them (always pays to have a spare pink Mori when you see a SweatWF in the lobby); the survivors attempting to save them click their flashlights in frustration.

There are only two gens left (four on the map), so I patrol. And patrol. And patrol. The last two are hiding. I do this for probably ten to fifteen minutes until I start getting loud noise notifications - one of them is trying to bait me. I ignore the first few until she becomes really desperate and gets sloppy. I find her and allow her to loop me, getting rid of a few pallets at a time before going back to my patrol to make sure the other one doesn't touch a gen.

Eventually, the map isn't safe anymore, and I manage to down her. I leave her there. (I tried to come back and hook her later, but she crawled to the edge of the map and bled out.)

The hatch spawns a few feet away from me, but it still takes me a second to find it. I patrol the exits until the endgame timer runs out.

The last survivor tries to trashtalk me in endgame chat. He was hiding in a snowman and saw no reason to continue to play the game since he wasn't winning and insists that I couldn't claim credit for his death (as if this matters). I reply that I knew what I was doing; either he was going to go for the gens/exits, or he was going to do nothing and die. I was right.

Best part? I was playing Legion on Stadia with a controller.

I know this isn't a big deal for some people, but the most I can usually manage against teams like that is 2K. I can't say it doesn't feel nice...

Good job bro, I wish I could say the same but I was one of many that got destroyed by a 4 man squad as a newbie

  • @Myla said:

I think she's very badly designed as a killer and is currently stomped by high MMR survivors. Her kill rate is abysmal and it's a clear sign that she deserves buffs to even the odds. That's a whopping 42% kill rate? That's horrible since the second to the last has 47%.

    #BuffNurse

the kill rate is low because a lot of people that play her are not that good😭 she is difficult to master but once you do it’s over

  • @tippy2k2 said:

Oni. I was getting destroyed in this game. Your normal old SWF crew. Clickity Clicks, baiting chases so they could head-on, t-bagging, basically anything a jerk SWF crew can do, these guys are doing it

I end up with only a handful of hooks in that game and obviously am ready for this ish to be over with. Go open the gates and start running around trying to gather blood orbs to get some points out of this game. But obviously they were not done with their chew toy and decided to start vault spamming.

I get my powers up and running and decide fine, I'll come over and force you out. Might as well. One of them screwed up their window jumping and end up on the wrong side of it where they get smushed by my big stick of justice. By this point, half of the EGC has happened and I realize...is this going to happen? Play it cool, they can't know what's coming or they'll not do it.

I hook the survivor and make sure to immediately fall for the one guy trying to get me to chase them so they can unhook their buddy. About 30 seconds left give or take at this point. I run to smush the guy, see the unhooked happened, and immediately stopped...

    Blood Warden. Checkmate #########. 4K

    😈

I got three messages after that game. Two of them though it was hilarious and one of them was saltier than the saltiest mountain in all of salty land. It was great.

Now that’s awesome😭 there’s nothing better than winning a game you didn’t expect to win even when you play good. I wasn’t tunneling or camping just going for hooks and then kills. I thought I was gonna lose but Demo is just so disgusting😂 Now the blood warden play is a classic great job my friend. I got no salt just feng telling me I probably have the Claudette a heart attack haha

Every killer game, i feel like i'm paired with the most immature survivors there are, the kind that run up to the killer first time to make them chase them and then t-bag when you get hit with a pallet

i keep feeling like people automatically know i have Asperger's and take advantage of it, jumping through windows to make noise not caring if i hear them or not

I'm still in the Ash rank because of the re-rank and i still get put with the worst kind of players. I just want matches were we can have at least a bit of respect for each other, but no, its always 'play with the killer'!

I keep getting on the game thinking 'it doesn't matter if i win or not, just stick with the match and get whatever results you can', but then these kind of survivors show up and make me feel like a joke for not being able to catch them.

This kind of thing makes me want to jump into a survivor match and sabotage the whole thing, throw down pallets, destroy bones so no Boons, that kind of thing

Yeah I get what you mean I have only come across a couple of toxic survivors. Most have been nice but the toxic ones get under my skin. The best thing I can tell you is “fight fire with fire”. They want to be toxic, you be toxic back. I had a Claudette tbag and flashlight click at me when she pre dropped a pallet From some distance. I face camped her and tunneled her out. Also hit her on the hook twice. Then I just chilled with the other survivors. They weren’t toxic.

Yeah, this. I can't remember a survivor ever doing anything to make the game more fun for me. I've seen plenty of the opposite though

Same here but occasionally I will have survivors do hilarious stuff that makes the game fun. 2 weeks ago I was playing against a Jake, Jonah and 2 megs that had the same cosmetics. I hit the Meg and she put her flashlight down and I let her live. Then the other Meg shows up and they start following me. I found the Jake and Jonah healing and begun chasing both into killer shack. The best part is when both megs blocked both of the entrances into the shack and the Jake and Jonah began to panic as they were trapped. I got both of them and let the Megs go.😂 the megs became my minions

No amount of buffs will solve the survivor issue. It isn't that you are weak. The issue is people don't play this game as a team game and there is no incentive to play it as a team game. You can still "win" by being completely selfish which is going to be the fastest way to kill teamwork.

The bad thing is that it is a habit people pickup early in their time with the game and never unlearn it. That is why I look at playing survivor as 1v3v1. Me versus the other survivors versus the killer.

Yeah like I said, buff killers and just give me teammates with a brain and I won’t complain. But that person not wanting to get me off the hook when he had not been hooked and the killer was busy chasing someone else was just a god awful teammate. It’s a team game and your scared to die when u haven’t been hooked🤨 #StrengthInNumbers

There is nothing fun about camping or being camped, what are you smoking bro. Also I'm "Abusing" other killers because I don't like being instadowned and having to wait over a minute of a leatherface nodding at me only to then wait another 10 minutes to get into another lobby. Did you miss the part where I said I "This is all coming from a killer main" A KILLER MAIN FINDS HIM UNFUN AND BORING.

Also if you get a down early, it's a 2k at least because there's no way all 5 gens will get done unless it takes him a while to get a down.

How on earth do people find camping fun? I love chasing survivors and hearing the killers theme.

  • @Shaped said:

I was bored at work today and was thinking about what a DBD movie could look like. With the game concept, lore and backstory, there is so much material that can be pulled from to make a pretty interesting movie. With that said, I started brainstorming and ultimately decided to write my thoughts down on paper. I’ll share it with you guys to get some thoughts on what you think.

Opening: (Heavily inspired by original DBD game reveal trailer)

A young woman runs through the woods, looking behind her as she does. She stops behind a tree and gasps for air as she looks around her surroundings. In the distance, she hears a scream, panic and fear showing on her face as the screams stop. As she gathers herself, she hears a generator in mid-repair and looks around to find it. Once spotting it, she approaches cautiously and begins to work on it. She hears a twig snap in the woods around her. As she looks up, she sees a shadowy figure behind the trees directly in front of her; She takes off running, making her way into the basement where she hides in a locker. As the figure makes its way downstairs, she holds her breath as it paces back and forth looking at the lockers with curiosity. She holds her breath until the figure appears to walk away. She closes her eyes to heave a sigh of relief, only to open them and see the monstrous figure standing directly in front of her locker and looking in. She screams as the looming figure opens the locker, pulls her out, and carries her on its shoulder to the hooks found nearby. The camera pans out to reveal two other people hooked in the basement as dark, shadowlike claws begin to appear and rip into the victims as the screen cuts to black.

Insert title card: Dead By Daylight

Act 1: The first third of the film would follow Haddie Kaur and Jason Rois, step-siblings who embark on a journey to explore a mysterious building with a horrific backstory. As is explained in the tome lore in the game, they are paranormal investigators who are curious to explore locations of interest due to Haddie’s psychic powers. During this particular adventure, they find disturbing symbols, books, and candles around the building and begin to suspect that they are being followed by dark hooded figures. Just as they are about to be caught, they are surrounded by a dark fog that envelops them as their world goes black.

Act 2: In this part of the film, we follow Haddie as she awakens in a darkened forest in what appears to be the middle of the night. She is completely lost and confused, leading her to call out to Jason as she notices he is not with her. As she does so, she sees a tall, lumbering man wearing overalls and holding a machete burst out from behind the trees. Terrified, she takes off as the giant man begins to follow her. As she evades, is chased and is found multiple times, she comes across other people lost in the forest who tell her to work on generators and escape through the exit gates. (These can be fan favorite survivors from the game.) Slowly but surely,  she begins to understand her situation and what she will need to do to survive. However, this trial ends with Haddie being caught, hooked and killed by the Trapper.

Act 3: She wakes up once again with her realizing that dying is not an escape from the horror she has experienced. Most importantly, she comes to the conclusion that her brother must also be stuck in the same loop and resolves to find him and escape this world. We are shown a montage of her trying to escape several trials only to be killed by other DBD killers such as the Hag, Doctor, and Hillbilly. We focus on one particular trial, revealing that Haddie is confident that she will have her first escape and, hopefully, return home this time. The killer this time is the Huntress and she has a couple of narrow chase escapes. In this trial, she gets help from the survivor featured in the opening scene of the film and she even comes across her brother. As they try to escape, both their new friend and Jason are both captured, hooked and sacrificed as Haddie makes a tearful escape through the exit without her brother.

Ending scene: Haddie wakes up in the middle of the street of a suburban neighborhood. As she runs to the front doors of the surrounding houses knocking on the doors and screaming for help, she notices the unsettling silence of her surroundings. She soon sees the flashing lights of a police car and runs towards it, thinking she is saved. However, as she nears it, she sees no sign of police and is left confused. Behind her, a tall man in a blue jumpsuit and white mask stands silently in the distance. The screen cuts to black with one final scream.

Now that you’ve read it, what’re your thoughts of my rough idea? Obviously, it needs a lot more detail but do you think this would make for a version of DBD you would want to watch? What would you add or take away?

P.S. I’m thinking this would be a great opportunity for new killers and survivors to be introduced and released in conjunction with the game. Would be good promotion.  Any sequels would try to uncover a potential real escape from the entity's realm. Other licensed killers could also make appearances.

Easy just make it a tournament. Resident evil characters play against nemesis in RPD. Silent hill goes up against PH in midwitch. The rest idk but something like that or showing the lore of the killers would be cool

  • @doglover53647 said:

I always bring either Kindred or Bond because playing solo survivor without either of those perks means I usually have a bad experience.

This is why I wish Kindred was basekit. It would only really benefit solo queue survivors and I'd rather use another perk for once but whenever I take it off my solo games are just way too stressful and chaotic. People don't go for the unhook or loop the killer around the hooked person, etc.

People on comms don't need those perks because they can already tell all these things to their teammates. It feels like playing solo means you're always at a big disadvantage. We don't even know what perks our teammates are running in the lobby so things like several people running Inner Strength and fighting for all the totems can and has happened to me, but only in solo queue and it is a big problem if you ask me.

I used to always use bond to the point that I was playing terrible without it. Then I forced myself to play without it and get better. It has worked so far. But even with kindred I would still get idiots as teammates like the ones that left me to die on first hook when the killer was far away chasing someone else. I had a game where I was getting tunneled by a nemesis and on death hook. I’m looping him all around back water swamp and I’m injured I see my teammates that haven’t been hooked working on a gen and we needed two more. I know your not supposed to do this but I brought the nemesis to the gen and I dead harded into one of my teammates so that they could take a hit. Guess what they both just went into hiding and I died. 😕 So much for strength in numbers. Ik kindred is good but I take out one of my perks and we lose. No one on my team cleanse totems except for me. That sucks. There was at one point where my solo que teammates were good. But, when I started escaping with my friends a lot it started to give me worse teammates in solo

  • @MrPeanutbutter said:

I don’t know if maybe I am a higher MMR on survivor than others who are complaining about solo que, but I was playing solo que last night and it was actually pretty fun. I went in with very low expectations. I think I played 5 total matches and two were not great but the other three were a ton of fun. Teammates were messing with the killer, body blocking, flash light saving, picking up chases to protect teammates, etc. I escaped 4 out of the 5 matches. Maybe just good luck on a small sample size? I just don’t think it’s as consistently miserable as many people claim. I could see if you’re low MMR or new to the game that you would have a lot of matches where your teammates are just hiding in the corner self-caring all the time. This is yet another reason why the MMR system based solely on escapes is trash. It’s tough to escape those kind of matches to rank up. The old pip system which ranked you up based on more elements of the match was much better for getting good survivors up to higher ranks where solo que doesn’t suck as much

I have only Been flashlight saved once in solo que but that’s because the player was a YouTuber. Idk what my mmr since I do play with my friends a lot and escape. When I play by myself, I am surrounded by terrible teammates consistently for some reason. The mmr system needs to go here is no reason why I should be considered worse than someone when I put up more points even when I die and they escape

  • @Shaped said:

I got used to it and I think I get better teammates than before. I am not always satisfied with them but I try not to judge too harshly. When I spectate some of them are cracked honestly, much better than me.

If they are effective on gens that is usually good enough for me tbh.

It can be a mixed bag but overall it is fine. I played this game for years and got used to it plus we don't always know the full story about why they do something.

The only ones I can't really stand are griefers and rage quitters.

That’s fair, I wish I got your teammates though. Everyone makes mistakes I know I have. But my god sometimes your teammates do a better job of getting u killed than the actual killer. Like here

Its true that a lot of people are bad at the game, but a lot of the time it’s because of the lack of communication. This causes people to make weird/bad decisions. They don’t know what other players are doing.

I do agree with that. Lack of communication does have an effect on some decisions. However, what happened her was not that. They were on comms and I know this because the Meg said to me, “the feng told me you were running around” yeah it not like the hag teleported towards me after I completed a gen. Once they left me go into second state they knew they were not even gonna try to get me off. What kind of “team work” is that?

  • @Moonman157 said:

Killers don't need buffed at all. Only survivors. Killers still beat SWF most of the time. Killers need nerfed if anything.

I still think most of all the issue is the killer meta, it is way too oppressive and solos can't win against it unless the killer is very bad. At high MMR, no killer is bad and they always win unless it is a coordinated SWF.

I don't know why nothing is being done about it. Solo playmode should never be such a grave disadvantage. It's like playing game on "Expert" or Impossible mode without the choice.

Holy crap the Legendary Sluzzy commented on my post😭

Idea don't go in a snowman if he's nearby and possibly knows you're in the area or in a chase.

Also what does his license have to do with him being P2W?

Yes there is escape it's just hard to do use trees, (if they're nearby) tight corners, or lockers and try to time the escape

Yes he can down multiple Survivors if they're all together and not playing safe and saying he has no counter play shows you haven't fully learned how to run the killer or you've never played him.

It's probably going to be a 4k every time because you like to put yourself in 2nd or just sacrifice yourself on the hook and make your team loose

If he's basement Bubba I've said it before don't go down there and you won't have a problem with him just do the gens simple.

    And do bones?

I'm sorry to break it to you dude, but you're gonna have to compromise your build if you want your solo queue teammates to have good intel. Adaptability is a skill and something that makes the game more fun.

i understand that but it would mean I have to get rid of one of those perks and I just can’t. Yesterday I had a game against trapper with noed and bloodwarden. I cleaned 3 totems and bless one and we got a four man escape. My teammates cleansed 1. Borrow time I can’t get rid of either because it helps my teammates get a chance. Circle of healing also helps my teammates and allows me to heal quick to take hits. And lithe helps me in chase . Basically 3 team perks and 1 personal perk. There’s not much more I could do

reason why i dont play solo anymore UNLESS im doing some extremely selfish rift challenges taht i wouldnt do with friends (just a few).

I mean a really good team can be a nightmare for a killer even in solo. Problem is that most of the time, solo que is just idiots running around doing nothing. Like yesterday I played a game against a trickster and I put up 27k. The rest put up 13k, 6k, then 3k. I did. Two gens while the others just tried to bait the trickster with head on😑 guess what it failed badly. I did totems saved my teammates and the rest didn’t help at all The trickster let me go through the gate as I was the only one that lasted at all In a chase

Consider running kindred when you solo queue

I can’t tho, I run detectives hunch to prevent noed and to find another totem for circle of healing, then I run borrowed time to help my teammates, and then lithe as my exhaustion perk. I try to help my teammates as much as possible and I’m very much vulnerable to getting tunneled. And kindred doesn’t help when I get idiots as teammates but I know it’s a very good perk

Honestly the bots would be better than mates in online matches. At least they do gens

Apparently the feng got mad that I was cleansing a totem at the beginning of the game too. Like buddy, “do bones” freaking pathetic

I highly recommend you get them if you have any iri shards burning a hole in your pocket. they're really a ton of fun.

They still do need QoL changes, though.

Idk if I will buy them but I will say they have a really good chase theme. It reminds me of Han Zimmers score in man of steel. So yeah their theme really cool

Same, for me last night. I can't remember how many times I went to second stage on first hook. Luckily I don't plan on escaping anyway, so I didn't get too frustrated with it, and it became a challenge to see if we could recover the match.

And, shout out to the killers as well, lot's of good ones were on last night!

Yeah as long as they don’t camp at 5 gens, I always give credit to killers. But damn solo que just forces you to play with friends Because your teammates are unreliable

  • @BadLooperQ said:

To be fair the only thing helping Solo survivor right now is CoH cause it's meta right now. Other than that it's worst than ever. No one uses BT, kindred or anything that manages to help the team a little bit. Yesterday I died in two games in my First hook while I was using KINDRED. Today I won like 3 against baby killers then the MMR decides that I'm a pro or somethin and put me against full sweats nurses and twins, even a entitled youtuber one.

Idk why it's so hard to put a communication wheel in this game if they're so scared to put Voice Chat because of language restrictions and toxicity.

Yeah idk about the voice coms idea. I play Injustice 2 and It doesn’t give you an option to turn off the mic in online play. That is stupid I had this one guy trash talk me and I made him rage quit without saying a word too and no spamming😭 anyway If dbd gave you the option maybe id be open to it

  • I’m not a twins main, I don’t have them but I will still up vote

Im sorry but i dont understand why I should play with teammates with 10h gameplay while Ive been playing 2k hours.

Bro I literally posted the same thing😂 read mine

Solo queue is an absolutely miserable experience.

I had a match today where I completed ALL FIVE of the generators, my teammates literally just would not touch them.

Yeah it’s a painful experience I dont understand how mmr put me with these people

  • @Aurelle said:

Agreed. I've died more to my teammates than the killers. I died on my first hook two games in a row before because my teammates were messing around with the snowmen and hiding in corners instead of helping me. Very infuriating.

Yeah it’s horrible, I played with a ttv and he killed himself while I was about to save him. And he had like 25 seconds left and I was like 3 feet away from him. Like why?

I enjoy the randomness of solo's. I overall have a pretty decent time with it. Solo is 98% of my survivor play so maybe I'm just used to craziness. Some people just think if they die in the trial they die IRL.......FYI you don't.

I enjoy the randomness of the killers and the outcome. Luckily I ran a nemesis for 4 gens the next game and made it out😎 btw ggs to that hag, I couldn’t message him but if you ever see this, good game I bet you were laughing at my teammates😂

    #BuffSoloSurvivors

    #BuffKillers

Yes buff killers but holy crap just give me teammates with a brain. Win or lose I don’t care as long as I have fun. What the hell was that?

that sounds good but I would like for DS to stun them a little longer for a survivor to get away from them or they can tweak DS like once they a killer get DS it hides the survivors blood trail and foot prints

Maybe a 3 second speed boost after ds

So, i was in a killer match with a Jill, David and two Mikaelas

Some time at the start of the match, i caught Jill and hooked her, but i heard a gen exploding over and over not far so i go to check it out. I see the David and one of the Mikealas pointing at each other, obviously one of them was sabotaging the gen

As a killer, i don't side with survivors no matter what happens, but i play with this at the same time too. i hit the David, then Mikaela, then downed David and left him to go after Mikaela.

Though out most of the match, i caught those two in weird situations, such as one trapping the other in a corner. But the end of it, Jill and the other Mikaela were dead and only those two were left.

I found the Mikaela first and downed her and then went to find David, he wasn't exactly hard to find, he was in a snowman because there was a crow around it. I downed him and hooked the Mikaela first, then David.

David died on the hook and Mikaela had Deliverance and jumped the hook, but i got her down imminently. Avoiding a possible D-strike, i wanted for the hatch to spawn before i picked her up. It spawned near the area and closed it, picked Mikaela up with no issue and killed her

Then the David messaged me asking why i cheated. I had no idea what he was talking about and he was under the impression i was working with the Mikaela, and he goes on threating to report me and saying how i kept avoiding her when i actually didn't. I said i was hunting them all the same, but he just ignored me and kept insisting i was working with her. There were two Mikaelas who were obviously SWF because they wore the same outfit, so it was hard to tell them apart.

I told him over and over than i wasn't working with Mikaela, that i was going to try and kill her just as much as the others, but he kept going on and on, sounding delusional all the while.

He even said he has video footage to use against me. Footage of what? Me hitting them all in the faces?

    This guy was absolutely delusional

That player is ridiculous, but props for playing well!!!

For that extra Perk you need to hook people.

And this is no unhealthy gameplay, it is just gameplay. if this is his strategy, then ok.

Kindred lets you already see if he is standing near the hook.

Maybe we should implement something that when 2 or 3 Survivors only work on one gen, it is getting repaired slower and slower.

This would maybe prevent the (unhealthy) gameplay that survs do the gens so fast that the killer can´t chase them.

The gen idea doesn’t make any sense. Might as well get rid of provethyself. Maybe add like a 6th gen or give killers a 5th perk something like that

I used to be in a pretty bad spot with Killer but I've been having a lot more fun with it lately. Here's 2 big things that made Killer fun for me again

    1. Abandon whatever meta build you might have currently and focus on mastering your Killer's power

I realized that even when I ran ruin/undying/discordance/tinkerer that I still couldn't pull games easily and it was frustrating me a lot. I learned that focusing solely on getting better at making my power work (PotD or Tentacle Strike) made it a lot easier to stomach losing because I was focusing on something other than winning. It meant that when I lost I could try and learn how to use my power better and when I won it meant I was doing something right. During this time I picked whatever build I felt would help me get as much experience using my power as possible - I'm All Ears/Nurse's Calling/Nemesis/Enduring for PH and...kinda whatever I felt like for Nemesis. I wasn't very picky.

    2. Find a build that works for *you*.

After I felt I was getting better at using my power I wanted to start trying a stronger build, but I didn't want to go back to a full meta build. Instead, I wanted a build that synergized with my killers and one that was also pretty fun. I found that I really liked exposed perks, and that one gen slowdown perk was usually enough for me. The remaining two perks were for whatever - information, or something that worked with my other perks.

    For Pyramid Head I landed on Ruin/Haunted Grounds/All Ears/Nurse's

For Nemesis I settled on Lethal Pursuer/Devour Hope/Undying/Pop

Not the strongest builds, but they work well and I have fun with them. And when I win with them. I also like to challenge myself to see if I can win without my hexes and sometimes I'm pretty successful.

I'm on about a 12 winstreak with Pyramid Head which is the highest I've ever had. I'm expecting MMR to brutalize me eventually but I keep getting teams with 3 Dead Hard, 3 BT, boons etc. and winning so I must be doing something right! Nemesis I had a draw recently but I'm still doing pretty well. The game where I had a draw I managed to get my 2k in EGC against a clicky team so I was happy to be defiant to the very end and keep all of them from walking away!

    https://youtu.be/EF5uBDz5Yck

The Nea could have saved James if she didn't waste her battery clicking at me and The Steve called me a loser, but I'm not gonna complain about a last minute 2K when they brought a map offering for the Game haha

    Good luck!

Nice, I have been having fun with demo and pyramid head
