It seems to be a general consensus beetween killer players that CoH is difficult to deal with. But what about its sibling, Shadow Step? Is it hard for you to handle it? Does it encourage a camping strategy?

    Nope

  • @Ssajbambusa said:

I see survivors crying about noed (which is a very weak perk) way too often and same goes for camping or tunneling. Developers gave you 4 perk slots, item slot, two addon slots and offering slot... There are tools you can use to counter thing you don't like...

"Duuh, but I need my 4 meta perks!" - if you really need 4 meta perks to win as a survivor... you are not good at the game... It might be harsh, but this is the truth.

You have the tools available, if you refuse to use them and still cry about very easily counterable stuff a killer can bring or do then it is on you, not on the game balance (which by the way is swayed in favour of survivors). You want your 4 meta perks? Sure, use them, but if you don't use tools the game is giving you for free and then cry about for example about Noed, you just look pathetic.

How to not be a crybaby:

Noone Escapes Death: When the exit gates are powered, the killer gains 4% movement speed and all survivors are exposed. It does need a dull totem which is transformed into a hex - if there are no dull totems left in the trial or it's hex totem has been broken the perk has no effect.

There are 5 totems in EVERY trial. Memorize their spawn locations and simply break dull totems during the game.

"But breaking totems is a waste of timeeeeeee" - Breaking a totem takes 14 seconds, which with 5 totems gives us a total of 70 seconds of cleansing time. Keep in mind that this is asymmetrical game - killers time being 4 times as precious as single survivor’s time as they can all do this simultaneously. Breaking all 5 totems prolongs the game by less than 20 seconds, get over yourselves.

“But it would take so much time running around and finding all of them!”

    Multiple solutions to this ‘problem’:

    1. Don’t look for totems during a trial, just break one if you happen to see it in between doing gens (if 2 or more survivors in the team did just that, there would be no totems left in majority of the games). Inner Strength is a great perk to run as it gives this motivation to break dull to reward you with free heal in clutch moments. In short: Don't actively look for them, but if you stumble upon one - break it
    2. Use tracking perks. Small Game helps finding the totems and gives you a counter of how many totems have been broken (not only by you!). You can also use map with Detective’s Hunch or Counter Force. I like Detective’s Hunch a lot as it helps with generators too (great for indoor maps) and actually adds revealed auras to map if you hold one. I do like Counter Force with map more though, simply because CF gives you cleansing speed buff and helps finding totems - while map helps you find the first totem (CF aura reading activates when you break a totem and shows the one further away from you). Stamps on map help too as you will most likely run near a totem on the way to the one aura you have seen. CF doesn’t not add the revealed totems to the map though!

“But the boon perk!”: Yes, boon perks do require a totem to work. You can literally ask or tell others that you are using boons in pretrial chat. Booned totem can’t become Noed’s hex unless snuffed out, but keeping dulls not broken is always a risk - which is good, because boons are ridiculously overpowered at the moment. Make your choice, either have easy game with boons or guaranteed no noed end game.

Camping. This is literally the most boring and least effective thing a killer can do. It takes 120 seconds to die on the hook. During this time the remaining 3 survivors can easily complete 4 generators. EASILY! The first chase very often takes so much time for 1 to 3 generators to be completed - most of the times if killer camps the remaining three have the option to escape for free and leave killer with 1 kill, depip in emblem system, derank and below 10k bloodpoints.

“That’s boring!” Of course it is, but aren’t you hear because you hate campers? If you make them get nothing in as many games as you can they will camp less likely. Got camped? Stay on the hook - by killing yourself early you are literally helping the killer - make him waste as much time as possible.

“Okay even if I wanted, how am I supposed to know that killer camps, smartass?” Use Kindred. General perk, one of the strongest since the first days of the game and already buffed twice. It let’s you see aura of all other survivors if someone is hooked and aura of the killer if her is near the hook. In addition your teammates get the same benefits when you are hooked.

“How is it supposed to work when my trash teammates do nothing entire game?” Again, Kindred. You can’t force them to play good, but by giving them as much information you increase the odds of killer getting genrushed.

Tunneling: This is literally the most efficient thing a killer can do so don’t get surprised when the do try. Don’t like it? What if there was a perk… that would let you escape for free if they did..? Hmmm… Use Decisive strike?

“But it only works 60 seconds and deactivates if I touch a generator, ugabuga!”

If the killer tunnels you and then spends 60 seconds waiting out your decisive, the other three teammates have time to complete two full generators. If they pick you up and get hit you get a free escape. It will take them about 20 seconds to catch up to you if you just just run straight. Even more if you made it to the loop. It is a lose-lose situation for a killer who really tunnels. It does deactivate, yes, but if you have time to touch totem, gen or other survivor you are clearly not being tunneled. Oh you wanted to tap gen in his face? Too bad.

This game is about time efficiency. You may die, but by wasting so much killer’s time you make them loose as well - and isn’t it the best way to actually punish someone doing something you don’t like?

By giving up, disconnecting or killing yourself on the hook you help the killer. You do actively help player you hate so much. Don’t do it or don’t cry, because you do have tools to make them loose if they try doing that thing you hate so much. Also always try to wiggle free from the killer's grasp. They might want to bring you to a basement, scourge hook or to a beneficial location - don’t let them. Someone might even come and try to take a hit - don’t make they play go wasted.

There are many other perks like Borrowed Time (overrated in my opinion) or Kinship (underrated, but having it’s flaws and very rarely actually giving value).

I will repeat myself: Developers give you the tools to fight back and punish the thing you don’t like - if you don’t use them for whatever reason, it’s your fault. Not the game’s, not the killer’s, not your teammates… yours.

Best build for solo queue: Kindred, Small Game, Decisive + exhaustion perk or Spine Chill

Kindred to help your teammates coordinate (don’t go for save if someone else is already going to do this)

DS to waste killer’s time if they do try to tunnel. Together with Kindred it will let the other three survivors escape basically for free if they have brains, and that’s what you want, make the killer you didn’t like loose as hard as possible. They might even save you somehow and DS gives you a free escape too if gates are already opened.

Small Game: You know how many totems are in game and have an easy time finding them… what more do you need against Noed? Best soloQ anti Noed tool.

Exhaustion perks: Longer looping, even more time for your team to smash gens.

Spine Chill: Basically removes stealth killer or Tinkerer. If you don’t go down in 10 seconds without exhaustion perks it’s often way better to run this.

Final note on camping and tunneling: If the killer wants to throw a game just to kill you, they will most likely succeed. Best you can do is watch them getting genrushed and laugh at their 5k points. If you want to punish them, this is best way and by seeing how many survivor mains are actual crybabies - they most likely want the worst for the killer player. This is how you do it.

Does doing bones prevent plaything too? Honest question

    For Survivors:

    • Hex: Ruin

    ...and yours?

I personally can’t wait for the next patch when exploits like these are completely overlooked and we get Artist nerfs instead because anti loop killers are OP and un-fun right? Or maybe we’ll get more Cenobite nerfs because he’s still “over performing”…Who knows, who knows.

I’m pretty sure Scott said they were the weakest item, unless he was just trolling idk

Let me ask you guys something if you say NOED is "OP" and it needs a "nerf" and all that stuff. Why is it that you have time to go hunt a totem to bless it with a Boon Effect and you keep Blessing some of them all game why don't you have enough time to cleanse the other totems to prevent NOED?

Like yeah it's strong I get that but, saying it's OP is a bit much considering it can never be activated at all sometimes in some games. So if you Bless them why can't you Cleanse the others?

I run detectives hunch so noed really isn’t a problem…….. until you face a face camping bubba and the only way to beat him is to gen rush, which doesn’t give you much time to do bones

I played against you yesterday. You camped me and repeatedly hit me me on hook, while moaning about gens going too fast against your meme build. Even though I don’t think I did one gen and I was just a solo slob trying my best not to go down.

as for bigger streamers, I’ve played against Hexy and Edgarallenbro and lost to both of them. Played with Coconuts and we got a 4 man escape.

Anytime I play with a ttv, I tell myself, “don’t do anything stupid” lol

  • @JoByDaylight said:

It should at least have a cool-down.

Cool down is better than some people in forums saying that you can only bless a totem once in a match and that’s it

  • @TheGentlemen said:

From my personal experience, it has been Myers and Freddy. People hate the tombstone addons, so as soon as I mori one person, I'll get a DC from the person getting morried or someone else. I play Freddy very frequently and always get at least 1 disconnect every 3 matches if I run the paintbrush addon.

However, in the past, Doctor was always the killer that made everyone DC for almost no reason. Really weird how that would happen honestly since Doctor is the definition of average in my book.

    What about you all though?

Tombstone is understandable no one wants to be moried but no need to be mean in the post game chat. Freddy I like but they can tough. But the answer is bubba. Face camping at 5 gens will bring a ton of salt. Just look at spook n jukes

  • I agree it needs a nerf. The speed should be 75% and you could stack it to make it 100% and that’s it. But nerf it to the ground sucks. Might as well use self care. And then the other boons would be useless. Barley anyone uses the other two, after your idea no one would bring shadow step or exponential. Also boons range should be on one floor not 2.

Oh. I've had people double down on me for no reason whatsoever.

I was playing blight on Midwhich. And I seen the streamer on bbq. I went and downed them and the hatch actually spawned in our room. I closed it right before they could crawl out(like I was mid weapon wipe when it spawned..I didn't let them crawl to it or anything). But I was going to give them the door. Because I typically do let fellow TTVS go

I said GG in the EGC, and popped by their stream real quick. And just mentioned I wish they wouldn't of DC'd. I was going to give the door(they were literally angry because I didn't give hatch). They told me to ######### myself and that I should just give hatch if I planned on letting them go.

I couldn't believe they acted like that in front of a sizeable audience(I think it was like 50 people)

Some people can just be ungrateful. SMH

I've seen him play on his YT videos, and he's good. Seeing a match from someone else's perspective is always fun.

The biggest content creator I faced was Ohmwrecker, who isn't obviously a DBD-only player, but he's still good enough. I was playing Pig and ended up in Lery's -- he was a solo. I had two other people dead, found him for his death hook, but he Booped, and I let him live. I was nervous, guessing that he was streaming and had thousand of people potentially watching, so I didn't want to embarrass myself in the match. He wasn't on Twitch that night, but Caffeine (which didn't have VOD, so I couldn't watch back the match afterwards, unfortunately).

I've gone against a number of smaller TTV streamers, both as killer and survivor, and with the exception of one, they've actually all been nice. I'll usually drop in and leave a follow for the nice ones (and often get a follow back, which helps us both -- those interactions were very wholesome. The one exception was a 4-person squad, with a female TTV, who sent me to RPD right after it had released (they were all PC and presumably had played on the map during the PTB and knew the layout -- I was literally playing my first ever match on it, and I was lost constantly).

They destroyed me, but I when I went to give them a GG, the players from the team in their chat and the streamer weren't just mocking me, but they were using offensive slurs towards me as well. When I popped in, they all of a sudden backtracked and tried to play it off as them "just kidding around", but it was a completely negative experience -- the sad thing is, they had a few hundred people watching, so it wasn't a "one guy and his two buddies" type of situation. People like that streamer give all of the other nice ones out there a bad reputation, unfortunately.

I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully that never happens again. People can just be so toxic and it’s sad.

  • And thats why playing this killer is fun as hell😎

  • @IsMmrReal said:

For me, not any perk in the game. Not gen speeds. Not even SWF or MMR. What really gets me is when the LEAST SKILLED survivor teabags in the gates. Just something that really gets me going lmao makes me chuckle to see it.

This is as a survivor as well. I hate to see the survivor that urban evaded in the edge of the map teabag a killer when that killer totally destroyed that survivor during the match. A lot of the time I see them escape because they are carried.

Face camping bubbas at 5 gens

It's not hard to stack up on Barb's Glasses. It's a yellow Add-on, I've got like 41 left and I'm not even leveling Demogorgon up

Yeah I need to stack up on them

  • @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

So I've decided to make an Add-on Tier List for my beloved Demogorgon. Keep in mind, these placements are based on my preferred playstyle, that being map control. Some of Demogorgon's Add-ons aren't necessarily bad, but they just don't fit my playstyle.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/AQ9RK7LZYL0I/my-image-289-29.png

Explenations for the rankings of the Add-ons:

    S Tier

    Leprose Lichen

This Add-on is extremely good if you're playing more territorial and focus on your Portals more than Shred. It'll allow you to gather information everytime you teleport, which in turn allows you to free up your Perk Loadout by removing the need for information gathering Perks.

    Lifeguard Whistle

Same as Leprose Lichen, this Add-on will grant you information. It combos really well with Perks like Hex: Ruin or Hex: Pentimento if you place a Portal right under the Totem.

    A Tier

    Barb's Glasses

Pretty simple, this Add-on will shorten your chase time by allowing you to Shred through Pallets even faster.

    Black Heart

Same as Barb's Glasses, but instead of making you Shred through Pallets faster, it makes you Shred through Survivors faster.

    B Tier

    Upside Down Resin

This Add-on will increase the time Survivors need to seal a Portal. Pretty simple and effective.

    Mew's Guts

Increases your Portal amount by 1 and decreases your Shred miss cooldown aswell. More Portals are always lovely, as well as more leniency on your Shreds.

    Viscous Webbing

Same as Upside Down Resin, but to a lesser degree.

    C Tier

    Thorny Vines

You may think that this is better than Viscous Webbing, as it increases the Portal sealing time and increases the distance you can detect Survivors with your Portals, but it's not. It's a smaller percentage than Viscous Webbing and only increases the tracking range by 1 Meter.

    Rotten Green Tripe

Movement speed increase is good, but it won't come into play much.

    Rat Liver

The old king of Demogorgon Add-ons, now dethroned. After Demogorgon's recent buff that made it so you only get slowed down when your Shred is ready, this Add-on doesn't bring much to the table.

    Sticky Lining

It's ok. 2.5 Meters is a fine amount of tracking range increase.

    Rat Tail

My ex-favourite Add-on, the nerf to it made it useless, as 35% is barely anything compared to it's original 50% Portal opening speed.

    Rotten Pumpkin

It works in niche scenarios where you hooked somebody and you see someone on the other side of the map, but you don't want to waste your Portals. In those cases, this is pretty great, otherwise, it just slows your set up down by a whole lot.

    D Tier

    Red Moss

It works when you're basing your whole build on stealth, otherwise it's meh.

    Vermillion Webcap

Same as Red Moss, though without the silent and slower Portal emergence, and the Undetectable only lasts 3 seconds more instead of 8.

    E Tier

    Unknown Egg

Bad. You're cooldown is already short, this barely reduces it.

    Eleven's Soda

It's meh, but gets outshined by Leprose Lichen and Lifeguard Whistle.

    Brass Case Lighter

Blindness is a useless Status Effect, but atleast it doesn't hurt you more than the Survivors.

    F Tier

    Violet Waxcap

0.5 seconds are nothing, this passively hurts you by wasting an Add-on slot.

    Deer Lungs

This actively hurts you by reducing your Portal amount for such a slight change.

    Barbs glasses🔥 I don’t have many lol

I actually find this surprisingly wholesome: someone showing how they got destroyed without any shame or feeling inadequate. Kudos for sharing and showing it is possible to lose graciously. And, maybe in another trial, if you met him again you may get the better of him! Every trial is different afterall.

well the only shame I had was getting exposed in this match in front of 2k people but hey it was someone that was really good. Oh and it was plague too. Yeah it’s fun for them but not for anyone else. Especially the unfortunate one to get on the hook. You know Scott kind made an idea of killers choosing which map they can avoid which is cool. Oh they have time to look for the bones... I've had matches where 3-4 totems were lit up the same time and when i found 1 another one was put up. Survivors have time when it helps them but when sometimes goes sideways and they go down the waterworks start.

I don't even use NOED but i dont understand this obsession about nerfing it. Its being proven time and time again you have time and will to do the bones when it helps YOU so why cant you just deal with NOED if it activates.

Survivors want to make this game even easier for them im assuming. I personally would like if this game is harder as a survivor. I would actually like to be scared of the killer instead of thinking they are my plaything which is mostly the case in this game.

Oh yeah idc about noed because I run detectives hunch. The only problem I have is that a bubba can face camp and you don’t have time to do bones. It doesn’t need a nerf it’s fine. And yes buff killers

Won one narrowly on Hag (4k).

Lost one terribly on Artist (1k).

However, most of the smaller TTV and YT people I've played against have been foul to the extent that I now just dodge TTV groups if I'm not playing one of my best killers.

Think about it tho, NOED is complained about because it "gives free kills", why does it give free kills? Because survivors dont do bones, why dont survivors do bones? Because its not a guarantee NOED is in play, meaning its possible for them to cleanse all 5 Totems and in the end it being a waste of time.

Make it base kit and survivors are well aware of what they can prevent. And it becomes their choice if they want to cleanse it to prevent the consequences.

    Base kit? Idk.

    You're right.

Because you can do this wacky thing called 'CLEANSE TOTEMS' while I am camping. Crazy, huh?

Survivors expecting the game to just hand them the win, at this point. No camping, no slugging, no tunneling. NoED needs changing so 'camping Killers' can't benefit...but it has to be something that nerfs NoED, so Survivors don't have to do bones. Because expecting them to stop licking Generators is too much!

Just. do. Bones. Stop sniveling that you can turn a perk off, but don't want too, then blaming the Killer for your lazyness. The end.

Don’t even start I just played a game against a face camping bubba. Guess what everyone says to do. “Do gens” we did and guess what happened. NOED. He hooked some by the gate. And then what? Blood warden. I run detectives hunch for noed but you don’t have time to do bones when someone is camping. “Laziness” yeah sure but camping someone at 5 gens isn’t lazy? So what is it? Do bones or do gens because can’t do both when someone is camping at the start. I play both sides I was red rank for both killer and survivor and I manage with demo so far. I don’t care about losing or winning but that was a horrible match.

What changes is the chance to down someone.

How NoED works now: I hook someone, gens pop. Survivors are creeping around, trying to save their friend. I manage to find 1 or 2, while 1 opens gates. I can down 1; now they know NoED exists. I could be chasing a second, luck depending. That's maybe 1 or 2 more hooks. Plus, they may hunt for the totem, since they are not near the gates, and I could find them again.

How Your NoED Works: I hook someone, gens pop. Now they know NoED exists before I do anything, and head right for the exit gates. No one is coming to save their friend. They also don't totem hunt, because it's easier to just beeline for the gates. I get no more attempts to kill anyone, unless someone is being suicidal.

Your idea gives Survivors too much info, and removes the threat of NoED altogether. No. Survivors don't need to know NoED exists before the Killer hits someone. Ever.

You shouldn’t get noed from camping someone at the beginning that’s bs

I hope Legion and Ghost Face are gonna get their promised changes, since they suck and their power is very limited in gameplay.

Boon nerfs which I'm fine with, maybe self care buff in return or something.

Useless perk buffs or rework which makes them very useful in gameplay.

A new base kit mechanic for killer that will reward them for getting different survivor on hook every time. Like idk haste effect for 12 seconds, reduced cooldown on miss attacks etc. something that will reward a fair and awesome playstyle other than camping, slugging and tunneling.

That last part sounds so cool. I try to play fair by not camping or tunneling and that reward is good enough for me. And I want a prestige system that’s more rewarding🙏

Just saying they have time to do the bones. First perk that needs to be fixed is CoH, Noed is fine.

time to rebless the same totem over and over again

that'll be seriously awful. might as well use self care instead.

That makes the perk useless but what do you expect at this point in these forums

I mean, yes, that was his point. This is the typical experience and that is why less people want to play killer. You would need to genuinely not care which is apparently easier said than done for most people. I see one of these psychos? I laugh it off and move on. But it seems to bother some killer mains for whatever reason. I can vaguely tell why, if someone acted like this irl, I would definitely start something over it. This is not irl, though. It is some weird delusional survivor main...

I have no clue how people enjoy this game without being able to accept that the playerbase acts this way. It is something I learned to accept the week I started.

Yeah I had a game where a Jake called me “basura” (which is garbage in Spanish) and “tunneler.” I’m against using that tat-tic (unless it’s a Claudette don’t care about them they will never have a good game so long as I’m playing killer) and I didn’t tunnel anyone in that game. 4k in RPD and the Jake was a horrible teammate. Why on earth are you allowing your injured teammate to be expose to a shred attack from demo in a small hallway that goes straight. Your fault being to scared to take a hit when you were right there. Both survivors and killer act salty and at this point you just have to have thick skin. Easier said than done. Just be the better person and move on. If only people were nicer

Its not about buffs or nerfs for me, it's about a team game that basically becomes unplayable because the devs refuse to punish players for bad behavior, out of 10 matches I played today I got 3 afk people from the start, 2 rage quits (with only 1 hook each) and 1 guy who suicided on hook (because reasons) and there goes 60% of my matches, and people do it because they know the punishment is just a joke, you get like a 5 minute ban if you DC and no punishment if you suicide on hook.

Most of the times that I lose as a survivor is because we were left with 3v1 because someone deicided to afk from the start or rage quit before even the first gen was done or sometimes I get a troll teammate that just decides to do nothing or sandbag others.... I have no problems when all players decide to play the game and I'd even say that survivor feels OP when they do decide to cooperate and play instead of going AFK/ragequit or troll...

I was just playing and two people immediately dced when they found out the killer was plague. Pathetic and we got destroyed obviously. Solo que sucks

Kill, I will actually never give hatch or doors to Mikaelas or Nancy, Mikaela because of CoH if I'm being honest, Nancies because of the actual series, she broke my boy Steve's heart, screw her.

Mercy to Cheryls (Heather) however you want to call her, just because I love SH3.

Oh trust me I was one of those upset with how Nancy and Steve’s relationship ended. I don’t like her relationship with Johnathan. Steve and Nancy’s are ironically my two favorite characters in the show and I just played with both of them as my teammates in solo que😂

I have nothing better to do and this has been bugging me for a while, so here I am again complaining about flashlights. I'm making this post to go into detail on how flashlights work and why I find them an issue. Feel free to post your thoughts below.

1: They Counter Too Many Killer Powers

So can someone explain to me why an item in the game has power over killers? Is there really a good reason for this? Here are a list of killers that flashlights effect:

    • NURSE: They can light burn her and stun her while blinking.
    • WRAITH: They can light burn him and stun him out of cloaked mode.
    • MYERS: Blinding Myers while he is stalking completely prevents him from gaining any Evil Within.
    • HAG: Flashlights can destroy her traps.
    • SPIRIT: Blinding her husk can stun her out of Phase Walking.
    • GHOSTFACE: Blinding him while he is stalking can prevent him from getting any stalk progress.
    • LEGION: Blinding Legion while they are in Feral Frenzy stuns them out of Feral Frenzy.
    • NEMESIS: Blinding Nemesis's zombies will stun them.
    • ARTIST: Shining a flashlight on her Dire Crows will make them disappear.

So my question is why is an item that you can buy for 4000 blood points (at least) completely destroy a killers power?

    2: Flashlights Last Too Long

    How Long Do Flashlights Last?

This part is going to be a little long due to explaining flashlight times along with addons, etc. Yes, flashlights are limited use items, but how long do they actually last along with addons?

    Anniversary Flashlight - 8 seconds

    Will O' Wisp Flashlight - 8 seconds

    Flashlight - 8 seconds

Sport Flashlight - 8 seconds (Decreases battery consumption by 11%, so with that in mind probably about 9-10 seconds)

    Utility Flashlight - 12 seconds

Now keeping addons in mind, I'm only going to be focusing on time saving addons since other flashlight addons don't really show an issue. (I'm not including the "Battery" addon because it is not as strong as the addons that are listed)

Long Life Battery - Adds 6 seconds

Heavy Duty Battery - Adds 4 seconds

Low Amp Filament - Decreases battery consumption by 20%

    Flashlight Lasting Times with addons

So listing flashlight and addon combinations from strongest to least strongest:

    • UTILITY FLASHLIGHT

Long Life Battery + Heavy Duty Battery = 22 seconds

Long Life Battery + Low Amp Filament = 19.2 seconds

Heavy Duty Battery + Low Amp Filament = 16.8 seconds

    • SPORT FLASHLIGHT

Long Life Battery + Heavy Duty Battery = 18.88 seconds

Long Life Battery + Low Amp Filament = 16.48 seconds

Heavy Duty Battery + Low Amp Filament = 12.31 seconds

    • EVENT AND REGULAR FLASHLIGHTS

Long Life Battery + Heavy Duty Battery = 18 seconds

Long Life Battery + Low Amp Filament = 16.8 seconds

Heavy Duty Battery + Low Amp Filament = 14.4 seconds

    STRONGEST AND WEAKEST COMBINATIONS

So with all of that being said, the strongest flashlight combination would be Utility Flashlight (Long Life and Heavy Duty Battery) and the weakest combination would be Event/Regular Flashlight (Heavy Duty Battery and Low Amp Filament).

    CONCLUSION

So why can flashlights last so long? It only takes 4 seconds to blind a killer, which means the strongest flashlight combination would last for 5 or more uses. And this is not counting perks that slows down the consumtion rate of items and/or restore item charges (Built To Last, Streetwise) Do flashlights really need to last that long?

    CONCLUSION/REMAINING THOUGHTS

I'm not saying nerf flashlights into the ground, I'm just asking for some changes that will make them a bit more bearable to face. Flashlights should not effect killer's powers and they should not last beyond 16 seconds with addons.

    I can’t even use one properly😭

Killer: Instant- 2 minutes long during any time of day (Western U.S.)

Survivor: 2-3 minutes during the day time and 5-7 minutes during the evening and nighttime (Western U.S.)

It’s a bummer though cause I enjoy survivor more but long que times in the lobby have been making me stray away and play other games. If I get bored of the other games I’m almost forced to play killer. What are your que times?

I play in the morning and at night

in the morning survivor que is instant like about 15 seconds. Killer is like around a minute maybe 2

at night, survivor is like 5 minutes (ugh) and killer is Instant like 15 seconds too

    I like Steve's and Jonathan's.

I really really really hate Claudette's.

I have never played against a Johnathan. I rarely get Steve’s but I have let them go especially when they are in a game with Nancy. They are like a packaged deal. For me when it comes to Claudette, it’s like when an animal is stocking its prey waiting for the perfect moment to strike. It also helps that I destroy them with demo who is a beast😂

I feel bad for killing Dwight, Zarina, Leon, Cheryl, Lisa, Mikaela, Claire, Bill, and Jake.

I don't feel bad for Ace, Meg, David, Jane, Ash, Chris, Felix or Jill though.

The rest of the survivors I'm neutral with.

But if any of the survivors act toxic in game, they're going to get sacrificed regardless.

Mikaleas screams are sad to hear honestly

  • @chargernick85 said:

I refuse to kill Nancy, Kate, Elodie, Zarina, and Jane unless they leave me no choice.

I will give Nea and Feng everything I have to destroy them.

Yes I feel the same way about neas sometimes fengs but neas get the Claudette treatment

  • @Anniehere said:

I dodge a lobby if i see Leon. i love him and i can't play against him.

The survivors i can't stand are Jane and Elodie. they just annoy me a lot.

That’s fair I don’t avoid lobby’s unless they have full flashlights. I did kill two Nancy’s by accident tho. One of them I hooked and they let her die on first hook. The second one was just following me around and we memed around while I was going after everyone else. She died because of the timer in the egc she didn’t want me to leave without a kill😞
