Every killer player gets to that stage at some point, myself included lol

I only really play nice when i see that the other side is REALLY struggling.

Other than that i'm just playing as efficient as possible

Exactly. Been there, said ######### that, went there again, not long after said ######### that again. NO MORE

HYPERSPEED Wraith. Combine Brutal strength, iron maiden, bamboozle, and fire up with double shadow dance addons. It is SO much fun especially on a pallet heavy map like the game or a wall heavy map like dead dawg.

    Love crack-head wraith. Very fun.

I cant say exactly how much i played before but i always got the new killer p3 and his perks on all killer and the new perks for one survivor before the midchapter. Now i played exactly two matches. As survivor i couldnt vault sometimes and got hit and as killer it was a nightmare.

How much did the performance problems affect you? Did it change how much you played and how important where the event and the rift for your playtime?

Yes. Have been playing a few other games. I drop/lag/freeze every power used, every unhook, status effects, gen completed, and some games just by swinging basic attack. Have only played what I have to get some cakes.

  • I will if you need. I main Pig but play almost every killer at high rank.

  • Do: Frame drop and lag.

    Don't: Play the game.

  • I run Better together for those ridiculous co-op gen challenges. I investigate yellow gens and go from there.

With the nerfs that he received he became much more punishing for mistakes. And less easy which is likely a reason although mastered he’s a threat. Yes, won’t do it against the best, but that’s a very few. He can do fine at all ranks of Solo Q

Every Killer does fine against Solo's. Not a fan of what they did to him. I feel he is clunky now and to telegraphed in what he will do.

  • I played 4 games with PH Tuesday and every game was just Hold W. It's quite ridiculous. I have never like PH but now IMO he is much weaker than most people have him. They killed the zone ability, his POD shot is to telegraphed so Good survivors can dodge it very easy, and his trails on the ground suck. They don't stay in the environment long (even with add-ons) and you have to run people into them assuming they are even still there at the time. Oh and they can be crouched over like hag traps but are no where that strong. Last thing even if you get them tormented I don't want to use the cage as it prevents all hook perks (BBQ,Pop, etc.) I got 10 more levels then he will be P3 50 and that is where I will forget he exists.

  • Thanks. Only had enough in my account for one so I bought the Twins as there was only a few skins I bought for them. Spirit I already have like 20 outfits but will buy this one eventually but slingers I just have to have it's my favorite of the 3.

  • I play Myers a lot. My go-to is Hair bow with a stalk add-on. if no hair bow it's hair brush. I have only used unlimited EW 3 times and it takes a long time to activate but so fun to do the comeback with it. Tombstone I have only used once and got like 15k ######### that

  • Loading screen, endgame, mori's you can see the killer. Also just like looking good for the survivors why are they the only ones that can look good? I own at least a page of skins for every killer. Default skins are BORING.

A team I just played against got 5-genned in Yamaoka. It was funny, but... how?

    H o w ?

I was playing as Wraith with the purple speed add-on so I could easily travel to each of the gens. They left the main building gen, and then all of the gens on one side.

Depends on map I have only seen a couple times and coal tower main one. They hurry and pop 2 corners on one end and that shrinks the map in half. Just got to cover from coal tower to shack.

Wether it’s me beating a console SWF as killer or a PC SWF it doesn’t matter, the point I’m trying to make is PC players can alternate their visual and gaming experience to get an edge over “other” players. That sits at the back of my head and it drives me nuts... It’s honestly not fair..

I have had crossplay one since it's release and prefer PC players over Xbox solely to avoid the salt. If I crush some PC players so what what they going to do about it? Crush some Xbox players and guess what spammed messages and invites. That being said I wondered about this myself....Why there is no option to disable PC. Whether or not I have success against them does not change the fact they have advantages in more than one area. I should not have to work twice as hard (time spent) to be great as another player in DBD just because they have a mouse and keyboard.

    Nope!

I don't like playing Spirit as I never really got a hang of using her powers. I'm sure if I actually worked at it a little bit, I'd be able to start 4King everybody like everyone else seems to be able to do with her but I just don't really care for her or her powers.

Same. I have said multiple times I can't use her. Can kill better with much weaker killers.

That is what is known as a "bug". It's when something happens that is unintentional and undesired in a computer program due to poor coding. You do not balance around bugs, you remove them.

Bug or not it happens. Only way the game cancels now if someone dc's on loading but even that gets ignored sometimes. Not fun either.

  • @MadLordJack said:

Trials can't start with 3 survivors.

Yes they can. I had a match recently where we loaded in with only 3 portraits. Yes the loading screen can't start with 3 but the GAME can. To make matters worse another teammate quit when seeing it leaving just myself and my friend. Game should have never allowed that to happen was a waste of time.

  • @CornHub said:

I got into a match & brought my rainbow map with the 2 stamp add-ons. The killer finds me, hits me with Franklin's then immediately DCs. I lose my item & there's absolutely nothing I can do about it, why is that even a mechanic?

I bring franklins if all 4 survivors have add-ons (assuming I have it on that killer). Very effective on medkits and flashlights. The best is when they feel they need to pick it back up right after you hit them lol. Dummy you just got hit again now and where's your item? On the floor again.

  • @Boss said:

    Yup.

Was pretty funny to use too, but it's unnecessary now since avoiding Lightburn really isn't that hard anymore.

This. I have only been light burned once in my time. Have not used wraith much lately though so I think I will when I do as Flashbang is showing up enough to where I put iron maiden on. Love downing them flashbang makers.

  • @Tactrix said:

I was playing against spirit, I used my flashlight and blinded her, then I moved to the side, she swung directly in front of her NOWHERE NEAR ME, I was directly to the side of her at this point and still managed a hit. This is the type of garbage that makes this game suck. It's one thing if she blind swings and hits me kind of near her, it's a completely different thing if she hits me standing on her side while swinging in front. Fix this game or get some programmers that can understand how hitboxes should work.

Feel the same when survivor but then as killer couple of booty shakes and my auto aim kicks in, swings that should hit don't, just life atm.

  • Idk for me it makes me play Clown different than I normally do which turns out bad. I prefer not to hit them with Bottles because throwing the gas at their feet/around them seems to hinder them more than direct hits. So switching to where I need to direct hit them causes me to lose the game most of the time. Not a fan of it and they are stockpiled on my clown.

I am pretty inked up myself, so I don't have a lot of room. But I do enjoy Black and Grey tattoos and most of mine are a bit "dark". Kind of a theme of balancing between life and death, masculine and feminine, light and dark. So a Spirit tat could fit.

Same. Not much room left I have not done the right side of my neck yet so maybe My piggy Gamertag.

If you like to play on this map, then that's great for you! However if your going to go on the forums and defend this pile of garbage, your just wrong. I've played this map around ~30 times, most of those being in custom game's since it's incredibly rare to get in public games. At this point I have a good understanding of the maps layout, however despite this the map is still so damn atrocious.

Most people who defend this map just use the excuse "people haven't gotten used to the layout yet, give it time!" but just because I know the layout doesn't stop the fact that it's 2x bigger than red forest, has a lack of hooks, a horrible mixture between completely useless windows/pallets and god windows/pallets and even an infinite. Oh yeah, did I even mention how badly this map screws up with certain Killers? If your playing Blight, Hillbilly, Trickster, or to some degree Oni you might as well just DC in the beginning.

I've tried out Blight plenty of times on this map, and wow, he's unplayable on it. This map combines the sliding that Ormond and Swamp has and the insane amount of doorways Lery's has thus making Blight straight up unplayable most of the time. Hillbilly also gets screwed over by how short the hallways are, meaning that you'll just be playing discount Bubba most of the time. Oh yeah, nearly forgot but Bubba also suffers on this map. Be prepared to bump into many things because of how tight the doorways are.

This map is just so damn disappointing. Aesthetically it's the best map in the game in my opinion, but gameplay wise it's the polar opposite.

    Agree.

    @Boss said:

Ooooh, also better looking than Midwich?

Hell no. Midwich is the best map in the game 😅

To me at least. Only one I like on both sides.

I just got ghost face to pick up 'I'm all Ears' and played a few rounds with him for fun. Somehow getting into the mindset of ghost face is a total delight compared to other killers. If I play Spirit then I'm probably sweating a bit, and then I'll get toxicity at the end. If I play Piggy or Pyramid Daddy I'll probably do pretty okay, get a deatth hook or two, then get a wonderful set of teabagging survivors at the exit gate clicking flashlights at me.

If I play Nurse, it's just a series of 'Oh come on I should've totally hit that!' and 'I guess my blink will take me exactly nowhere for some reason? *Nurse stun intensifies*

But Ghost Face, it's like some inner dickbag in me has risen to the surface that I never knew existed. It's like I'm fully in character of a clumsy dumbass killer that's trying so hard to get the last licks in (I absolutely watched Scream last night again because of it.) If I get teabagged at the exit gate, I can give it back to them. If they pallet stun me or take me out of stealth that's fine too.

Yesterday I was going against an entire squad of people and my Hex: Devour Hope was in plain sight. One person tried to break the totem, I downed them and while they were crawling on the ground I crouched down and shook my head at them. Then I hooked them. Another person came by, did the exact same thing to them.

Then one person, a Bill, finally did manage to break my Hex. I downed him, teabagged his corpse, threw him on the hook, stabbed him a few times then left him to get unhooked. I decided I was going to let them all live (One Jill DID die, but she went from Struggle to death that wasn't on me!) However that Bill was going to pay for making a fool out of me. Every time I ran into him he got a stab straight in the stupid face. They finished the gens, left and we had a fun post game chat.

    -

Mind you if I did this on any other killer I would start questioning if I really was in the right state of mind to be playing DBD, but somehow on Ghost Face that extra layer of being a low tier killer with the ability to lay down some vicious mockery is just liberating. I can get 0 hook states, and I'll still be having the time of my life as long as I can peek around a corner like a dipshit to leer at someone working on a generator.

Maybe the novelty will wear off, but I really haven't had this much fun on DBD in a while.

I recently put in some work on Ghostface at first was not a fan but I am now. He is very dangerous and like you said you can dish everything back with him. The reason you are a dick (your words) is the fact you have been dealing with T-bagging/flashy ######### as killer and now it's your time. I play Pig quite often and she can dish out some toxic as well. When I have some survivors I don't like it is very fun to crouch and growl at them then nod my head. Her and ghosty are fun and very good if you are.

The king of the basement is Bubba btw.

  • Both are very strong in right hands. Huntress is better because she can snowball very easily and IMO Slinger can not at least not like her anyhow. I use both of them and do quite well love them both. Huntress is also more fun IMO. So I agree with you.

Not sure about the rest of Europe but Germany and here in Austria and Croatia we eat them with salt.

I'm in USA and I have never ate/had sugar on my damn popcorn. That don't even sound right/good to me. SALT/Butter is what's in the movie theaters. Caramel popcorn bout the closest to sugar I can think of. Also white cheddar popcorn is the #########.

It's ok ^^ I guess the fact i maybe played Billy 10 times in 1.7K hours makes my knowledge about him pretty wonky ahah

As for Legion, yeah he is a hit and run killer but honestly he is the least lethal killer there is and his power doesn't do anything in chase while Wraith power was basically hit and run and become chased oriented in a similar style to Bubba ^^

I don't main wraith but I disagree with this post in every way. I played a trial with him last night and despite being faster and having a SLIGHTY longer lunge then his former self his uncloak speed is terrible. When the survivor is running they can get out of range of the lunge (assuming not running uncloak speed add-ons). Now staying at a loop is probably a death sentence but he is only as powerful as his add-ons oh and still has to hit you twice but not Bubba.

Also Legion is very lethal you get quick hits on most if not all the team but where he is really lethal is lots of survivors assume after you Frenzy them that you are going after someone else so cancelling your power and body blocking them is very Lethal. This can also be used in chase to catch up then block them in a unsafe spot, cancel power, down they go. Is Legion as powerful as bubba in chase NO and not as good as wraith but very Lethal in the right hands.

He literally was butt dancing while we were dying didnt bother helping and pointed where we were. I'm not ashamed of that DC the killer and the crappy survivor deserved it.

Survivors who leave after getting hooked once or even downed once are just sad..learn to accept defeat people. You can't always win.

I can't stand this. Last night had a David that I spotted was heading straight to him and he pointed at a Jill who he was just healing (like ######### is that) I ignored Jill and killed the David. I killed the Jill too but later in the match.....#########.

While it's the most optimal way of playing, survivors often times tend to stay together at the beginning at the match. At least in groups of 2.

I played a LOT with Lethal Persuer and it's pretty rare to see survivors spawning completely spread out and even if it happens Corrupt Intervention is there aswell.

That's weird. Every time I have ran it they never spawned together. At most there was two close by each other. Lucky you my friend.

  • @Leonardo1ita said:

This is the truth, even for killers that benefit from coup de grace a lot more than all the others like huntress, deathslinger, demo, Pyramid, blight, trickster, nemesis, and maybe leatherface and billy and twins.

Unless you have corrupt or you want to defend totems, if all 4 survivors wait at the beginning the match doesn't start until someone if found, that's it, and you can guess where they'll go, also you already know which gens you wanna defend first no matter what

If your fear is that they're gonna wait for you to pass a gen and then start working on it, 4 stacks of coup de grace before the 5th gen is completed are so much better still, mathematically, because you can win so many loops where pallets have been thrown so easily, and they'll be forced to pre drop pallets, so you'll zone them out quicker or down before.

So just like Bitter Murmer, Noed, etc I don't like coup because in order to get GREAT value you have to lose gens. I don't use perks like this because IMO is planning to lose/lose objectives. Lethal is fantastic for certain killers like Blight, Billy, Huntress, Wraith, etc and getting a down in the first 10 seconds is game changing. The pressure is on them instantly and you can snowball from there. Way better value IMO and also I like to lunge a lot so I would have to change my style for a perk I don't like anyhow. Now as someone else said if they tied it to something else (hooks) then might have an interest.

  • I got about 20 levels to go on 8 character then my entire roster (except trick and nemesis) are P3 50. Just got to collect more perks but can't wait to use my killers to level survivors. So close

    I wanna counter this.

Swamp maps has GUARANTEED totem spawns that are insanely easy to spot, especially in the Docks. At least it feels like it's guaranteed. Everytime I spawn there that flipping map has two totem spawns near the shack that makes me want to cry.

True but there are 1-2 very hard one on that map each trial. It's pure rng whether your hex is one of the hard spots. I have been getting great totem spots lately devoured a whole team multiple times yesterday had 1 in the saloon on the top in that room that you can't get in without breaking a bunch of walls (survivor can get in with the vault on the balcony) and also had one spawn in the last house in haddonfield upstairs in a room (they didn't find it). Other game was midwich so ya they died.

I have a build for my Survivor gameplay, but I'm hesitating a lot about two perks. Currently, I run Spine Chill, Iron Will, Resilience and Dead Hard. I think it's the classic "vault speed build".

I need your opinion about two perks: Dead Hard vs. Sprint Burst and Spine Chill vs. Adrenaline. Knowing that I'm playing solo 100% of the time.

And I started to play Killer recently. I decided to main Huntress. I have no idea what perks to run outside of BBQ and Iron Maiden. What perks would you recommend to complete the build? (Also, tips to play Huntress are welcome, even the obvious ones. I'm a beginner.)

Thanks for helping me with my builds. (And I do hope my English was fine.)

The build I recommended for Huntress is based on if you don't have trouble finding people at beginning. If you struggle with this I would swap Nurses for Lethal and sure I guess Whispers (I don't like Whispers but understand why people use it).

Speaking of Whispers the reason I hate it is most of the value is at beginning and end. I wish it did not proc people on the hook. Would be nice if you could use it after unhooking to know if someone is lurking for the save.

  • I quit everyday........Seriously when you try to play killer and get the worst map spawn for that specific killer then add in the lag/freeze when you use your power. The game for me right now lags for just about anything so it's hard to play longer than 30 minutes (1 game with killer que's right now).

First off, the map visually looks great, the art team did a wonderful job.

Other than that though, what the ######### were they thinking? Lery’s, Hawkin’s, Midwich, the Game are all widely hated, and people have been complaining about indoor maps for years, and they literally do not listen. The only recent outdoor map was Dead dawg, which is another horrendous map. They keep saturating the game with terrible maps.

Can’t even remember the last good map that was released, I guess temple of purgation was ok, if a little too large. Why won’t they listen when we say we hate indoor maps, we hate maps with complicated layouts, maps that restrict killer powers and killer/survivor perks etc. They keep doing this over and over, that it’s to the point I dread any future map releases.

The most loved maps are open ones, with a couple of buildings to spice it up. They’re spending all these resources to make these maps that are just awful to play on.

My first game I went against Blight, and we literally won almost entirely because the map is impossible for killers to control. For the survivors, it takes forever to find a gen, and to make it to unhook. It’s awful in every way.

STOP MAKING INDOOR MAPS. They could’ve done an amazing neon, Seoul map, but nope we get stuck with this and dead dawg as the recent maps. I really wish they’d just remove map offerings, as I cringe at how often killers use a dead dawg offering, survivors use a haddonfield offering, etc.

Please BHVR, stop adding maps that nobody enjoys

I hate RPD and it's #1 for me now (most hated) right ahead of coldwind. I don't like dead dawg though and you will never catch me using that offering. Yes it's not as big as some maps but that works in favor of the survivors most gens are within spitting distance of 1 another and 2-3 of them are hard to defend. Hate it just hate it. Midwich is my favorite on both sides other than that I hate them all just some way more than others.
