Being a Pig main naturally Mike/Ghosty are killers I like to use. I personally feel Pig is the best of the three (Obviously my opinion) I do great with her no matter what rank, do quite well with Mike, but Ghosty it's 50/50 but man I find him fun.

Sounds like what happened when I tried playing killer first time as him a long time ago. Everyone gets downed by a locker to head on me, flashlight clicking then T bags, end game chat they all swear at me saying its my fault for being bad........like they all escaped and yet somehow my fault which pretty sure they were a SWF.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2384345#Comment_2384345
He has somewhat of diversity like a shorter reveal range and the Iri security cam. Just hope sometime they either rework his reveal mechanic, add more addons/rework addons, shorter cool down, or all of the above.
I like the cloak and duration add-ons as well. Pretty much just more options are available if the need for recovery wasn't so bad. Where as in fred's instance I just do see anything worth running beside those.

Indeed it is, most survivors spawn next to hex totem lol.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2384131#Comment_2384131
Yeah true but think they should reduce his cool down a tad bit.
Agreed. Would be nice to run something other than power recovery add-ons. I feel the same about Fred but for different reason (nothing better to run). Ghostface actually has better diversity in his add-ons but cloaking mid-chase to much to try them.

My Oni had just a bad load out a while back and I ran Iron maiden and territorial I know this combo makes no sense but I truly had ######### perks. Iron maiden was a god send thanks to the 3 Leon's at the time and territorial I got a couple downs with my Demon dash strike as they were coming out of the basement. Lethal pursuer has done this for me as well it's quite surprising how often the basement chest is on a survivors mind at start of trial if spawned anywhere near it.
-
All I will say is time is not on the killers side....Ever. Every game I lose (2k or less) I know I could have easily won if I removed (tunneled) the weakest out of the game. I don't camp or tunnel until 1 gen/EGC and sometimes that is just too late. Here the thing I am not required to play that way and quite frankly no one is. If you are getting camped as much as the Forums claim then you really should be running anti camp perks or hop in a swf. 4 survivors have 1 objective and it's to repair 5 gens lol (4 repair 5 lol) so until something is changed to give the killer a bit more time to do 12 hooks (which we can if the team is terrible) but most aint. Solo lobbies are rare as ######### at best it 2 pairs of swf majority of time. I get camped too as survivor and it pisses me off but I have the common sense to understand why it happens. Time sucks for killer, my team was not prepared. Simple.

I decided to give killer a try for the first time in a really long time, firstly because the event is over and I want to farm some bloodpoints and secondly because I pretty much maxed all my survivors and practically none of my killers that aren't Pyramid head.
My god a lot of people complain post game chat for the smallest things it's crazy, accusing me of camping when they don't even split up at all, games take long because everyone is trying to be a hero. People getting mad because I saw them with a flashlight and won't pick up a survivor so I'm accused of slugging, people wasting pallets and getting mad because they think I'm focusing them etc etc.
But hey, still getting used to playing killer and it's fun, there have been great games and whenever people disconnect early I gather the folks to farm bloodpoints and let them escape.... BUT MY GOD even when people win they're just terrible sports.
Anywho, just sharing for now, hopefully I get the hang of using Nemisis.
Lmao. I tried playing the lag monster this weekend it was "FUN" (not really) my screen froze each time I brought his tentacle up, half the time I used his fists, anytime they unhhooked or Dead harded. At 1 gen remaining I decided to proxy camp this David to try and use as bait. Oh man that started a wildfire at post game. You camped you are so bad....Lol 5th gen popped about 10 seconds after I hooked him so basically a EGC camp but I suck anyhow. Just like they suck for not being good enough to get him off hook. Also had a game with ghostface during event and was crouching around just toying with a team, hooked each one once and just tried to jump scare from there. Got a message saying Please Unistall lol. People are clueless these days.

Yes I love these combo's mentioned. 100% agree some perks just SEEM perfectly built for some killers. Some combos are just meant to be like corrupt/Lethal is a combo I am glued to right now. Lethal removes the biggest weakness to corrupt (immersive survivors during corrupt).

Nerf DS again? :d
Sorry for late response my friend was not feeling good over the weekend. I did not say nerf it. What they should have did off the start is nerf the exploits/buff the perk. I agree with someone above who mentions DS deactivating once gens are done I like this idea and in return I think most people would be happy using the perk more than once in return. I know I would personally considering my poor Kate had 7 tunneling/camping killers in a row this weekend (along with teammates who don't know how to handle that) which caused me to switch to killer again. Only too eventually say ######### that as well (lag/freeze). Like I said before it's a free escape in EG if hooked withing 40 meters of the gate. Even if you get through body blocks, get the hit, and leaved them slugged they will still get out. Majority of good killers should have no problem with DS being used more than once as long as nerfed the remaining part/s that are broken.

@NerfedFreddy said:
- No it doesn't. If killer doesn't see aura even of one surv it's legitimate reason to check surroundings and to camp. "Oh 30s have passed already, gonna wait till second hook stage"
- Wrong again. Of course it can encourage you to go after every surv but It also can encourage you to get 4k by any means and camping/tunneling will help a lot with it. So BBQ anti-camp/anti tunnel qualities are heavily reliant on killer player's decency ("tactics")
- Counterplay as noed counterplay just makes things worse. You actually want that killer sees your aura with BBQ. Let's say all three survs perfectly "counterplayed" bbq and hopped in lockers. "I don't see any auras. All survs must be nearby. Should check around and proxycamp that guy hard. Must be toxic swf"
- Not entirely correct too
- That's true but it is irrelevant from gameplay standpoint and survs perspective
So your post is about how great bbq as anti-camp/anti tunnel, but it really isn't so how to fix bbq?
BBQ should grants your stack only if all survivors are alive and it will be absolutely brilliant anti-camp/anti tunnel perk that promotes fair play exactly how you describes in your post. It pretty much guarantees 3 stacks in average non-campy match. BP per stack also can be buffed up to 30%. BBQ absolutely shouldn't reward campers/tunnelers how it does now
NO. Can't tell you how many trials I have been in where one survivor can't be found due to the love they have for planting bushes, be locker Dwight, etc. Only way to get 4 stacks in those games would be to leave the other 3 alive to slaughter gens while you try and guess where the bush wacker is? NO thanks.

No it is not broken. If you are tunnelling the guy who has DS, you will eat this stun. Don't tunnel, don't get punish. Not hard. And i do not think DS needs another nerf. Actually devs need buff it lmao.
I never see DS during the game (because tunneling is not one of my tools) however I do see it give a free escape anywhere near the exit gate during EGC. FREE ESCAPE/FREE KILLS should not exist.

Ok. You said yourself if BBQ only read aura's killers would use other perks and that's right. You even mentioned some examples of some BETTER aura reading perks. That is not even mentioning the fact that if BBQ did not have to be run (for the grind) that it's a fourth perk slot opened up for anything (not just aura perks) but just stronger perks in general. Two perks that have synergy plus two more that synergy is a great build but guess what you only can build a 3 perk combo because of BBQ. So hopefully this elaboration shows you what I mean to killers would be stronger without BBQ. 4 great perks is better than 3 with a ######### aura perk just because it grants a BP bonus. Not sure what your rank is but at my rank you don't see much aura's with it.

I don't like it. The BP bonus is what makes most people pick it. Thats why i dont like it

The point of BTB & Selfcare is Killer doesnt expect it, because you were making noise, then go silent, makes them thought you're already far away.
Makes sense. I love Nurses calling more now.
-
I would try the spawn point fix first. Can't tell you how many times disco pops soon as I take one step at beginning. Also ran LP once last night and soon as the aura appeared there was a survivor already repairing a gen. That's just bogus and they should have to work (travel to) for their objective. Not be spawned right on top of it.

I eruption is high on my list 2. Got both of them last night on my PH. Both are still tier 1 but usable imo.

Outdated mechanic that needs updated. It made sense when it was designed but it's a different game now and most Killers can do without it. But i'm not saying to remove it, it just needs looked at because it's not really fair for a Killer to be swinging 3/4 times a someone and missing but still gain an advantage.
Fix the drops/lag/freeze issue along with the auto aim crap and sure. Just remember if you are really having trouble with blood lust this bad you are obviously winning most chases. WINNING a chase is about TIME SPENT it is not about not going down. If a killer wants you, you will go down at some point. It's about making said down take the longest possible. Right now 1-2 long chases is game over at high ranks which is why most killers break chase before blood lust even becomes a thing (not to mention I lag when it activates) so what's the real problem? Want long chases and to never go down?

Yes. Hopefully they do he is fun to play for me but I also lag with each tier up or down with mike, activated night shroud and that surprises me as those are two are the ones I thought would be easiest to play from a power/lag POV. 99 my stalk, catch a survivor of guard, pop it and lag into a wall.

Slinger is bad if you're imagining playing a fps on console when you use pc to game, if you're a console person who plays fps slinger is amazing, especially his reliance on flick shots.
I play slinger on last gen console and do quite well with him. Right now I lag when aiming his gun but I am speaking in general. Huntress is in my personal top 3 so she don't bother me either. Nurse is one I would have in the top as well. Yes she is more difficult on console but the job can still be done with her when mastered.
-
Obviously this is your opinion and there is nothing wrong with that I will not say this one should be here or there like others. I am playing PH now and although 4king in the 3 matches yesterday (day before was awful) not seeing what makes him S-tier or A-tier on most lists. When he first came out sure but now DS is not as popular as it used to be, they killed his zoning ability takes like 2-4 seconds to pick your knife up out the ground, his PoTD is easily dodged and it's punishing against good survivors.
-
Is this based with current state of game? Or just in general?

My 2nd game ever on the RE map as survivor i was playing against a doctor who had all but 2 generators spawn on the right side of the map(From the entrance doorway PoV).
There was only one generator that spawned on the left half of the map and the one that always spawns in the middle area.
The other 5 where all squished together on the back of the right side so close I could swear he landed a single shock therapy on survivors on 2 separate generators while most of the front of the right side was barren of any generators.
Jeez that sounds crazy. Have only played on that map a few times and don't want to ever again. Have only got it on survivor side but I know I won't like it as killer either......I think.

Yup.
Saloon - a small map with two thirds of the area being one continuous dead zone and with one easily seen lane in the middle, where all the gens can be patrolled with no effort. The most killer sided map in the game so far.
Hawkins - indoors map where you can waste a lot of time before finding a gen. Killer-sided unless the killer is a nurse/billy/huntress. All pallets save for a couple are jokes.
School - straight hallways with nowhere to run or to hide, you have to jump into classrooms hoping there is a pallet there. Finding a gen takes longer than mastering Nurse.
Swamp - Deadzone: The Map.
The game: easy to get lost, takes forever to find a gen, never can tell whether the killer is on your floor or on the other one, since the heartbeat doesn't distinguish the Z axis.
Azarov - 3-gen: The Map.
Ormond - small, the pallets are jokes, half of the tiles are deadzone.
I missed some maps from the old rotations, which have a lot of forest tiles in it (ie dead zones), don't remember the names. Those are not pleasant for survivors either.
Hey pal whatever you are ON please send some over here. I would kill to experience that high.....

Of course people are still gonna play a game they like. My friends are on last gen and they still play even though they complain literally every match about the frames. They play because other friends play and they want to play with friends. This game is unplayable on last gen and has been for quite some time.
This. The game is in the worst state I have ever seen it. I play on the original Xbox one and it is god awful. I can only play certain killers to reduce the spikes but I still get them. Almost every time a PC player/streamer post a clip and get a stutter (and complains) once or twice a match I look and say "Really that's what your pissed about" that is nothing compared to what I deal with on a game to game basis. Hell I would be happy if the game just froze, glitched, lagged, spiked, etc just 5 times a game. Here's the kicker it was not great before Nemesis now it's just Hell. I still try and play though because it's my favorite Game but console players still playing the game mean jack ######### about the state of their game.

Really? Played there last night and there was a 2-3 pallet loop outside of shack with the shack window on that same side. They just bolted for it every opportunity. Not to mention all the T/L walls in the middle (my favorite place as survivor) that half was terrible for me. Add to the fact they caught me doing a Hillbilly ritual nuff said.

if not license I really want a werewolf/legends type of killer. Werewolf that can see in the dark and move fast. Maybe in the dark he can highlight survivor aura's withing a certain range idk might be too powerful but should def move fast. Vampire/dracula is another and I think the possibility is growing and maybe even a hint was thrown into the new spirit skin (def a vampire skin). I don't know we will see.
-
Just about anyone can play wraith. Billy is a different story however there is a big learning curve with his chainsaw at loops. That alone makes it wraith with me. Not to mention his speed is easy accessible and not hindered by map/objects. Another note he has very powerful add-ons and so does trapper. Trapper you can be dominating and then snap, snap, snap game over and he also has some powerful add-ons. Hillbilly does have the ability to be stronger than both but is up to the person using him. Wraith does not need as much skill so he is by far the easiest to 4k with.

Well I'm on console so even if I wanted to use best I don't. I am a hyper fan of SB/Fixated/Resilience/SC anyhow. When not using that I have a solo gen killer build of Fast track, stakeout, resilience, SC/FTP. FTP is to insta-heal a teammate (back to gen they go hopefully) and injure myself for resilience. The time saved helps a lot in solo que.

What even is "exhausted on the ground" I hear that all the time, but I have no clue what that even means
You dead hard but get downed during dead hard, or hit at same time as activating it = exhausted on the ground. Very common for all but especially console.
-
That don't happen most of the time. Most of the time you freeze and go down or the most famous exhausted on ground. That person got the rare occasion that you missed.

LOL I play on XBOX ONE let me say it is fuking god awful. Funny thing is I still kill most of these #########. That being said I agre with @Pulsar. I don't live under a rock like some of you on here. I understand my hardware is the 2nd worst out there on crossplay which makes me feel horrible for switch players that are in worst shape then me. Personally I could not imagine a system running worse that mine but apparently switch does and that is frightening. PC is top dawg they can do things I can't hell I watch streamers and say how the ######### is he moving so fast. My killers look so much slower than PC same as survivor the way PC can tightrope walls compared to console is insane. Had the fortunate experience to see a console Feng and a PC feng in one of my games the other night both had SB guess who's sprint burst was more effective? The PC one was over the top fast and seem like it was longer compared to the console Feng. I know they say is just a visual thing we all move the same but I call bullshit on that one.

Now let me clarify what im saying. I've read multiple post on twitter of people saying hag is op, too strong and unfair. I have to wonder if any of these complainers even know the basics of facing hag.
She to me is perfectly balanced and does not need a nerf. So i will explain to survivors the best way to counter her. Crouch walk. Instantly her traps are useless.
I had to make this post because i would hate to see hag nerfed due to whiny survivors not knowing how to face her.
Most if not all of my losses from Hag are because teammates don't seem to know (or know and are just ######### stupid) that you can crouch when unhooking. Just sad when you team gives the killer a free snowball.
