I don't mind people's preferences, but Its infuriating when people become toxic in a specific build or character that eventually builds up the hate. I remember this moment when my friends and I made a huntress DC (not intentionally) bc I head on her when she WASN'T chasing anyone. We got her the next game as spirit on shelters woods and brought the infamous ruin + undying + stridor while bringing act. and duration add-ons and called us noobs, losers, and that we sucked. Note: 3 of us died while one got hatch.

Though I'm not saying its a "spirit" thing, but I noticed a lot of players who play her are extremely cocky or they have their ego so far up their booty-hole. This applies to bubbas & Freddies too (from our experience). So as of right now, my friends and I (all rank 1 with at least 2000+ hours) are generally sweaty when it comes to spirit, bubba or Freddy because we have a general idea in how they play so we'd rather be safe and be on the "aggressive" side first before they spam us with their hateful messages that tick us off. We never send hate messages unless they do it first.

And thus the wheel of hatred continues to turn for every nontoxic spirit, bubby or freddy getting trashed by your swf.

But I dont blame you, the other side is as much at fault when killer start sweating against each team with a hint of swf or got trained to sweat every game just in case of a veteran swf death squad.

Thanks to missing correct matchmaking and so on.

  • Well before release I thought this game would be more of a playable horror slasher about survivor trying to hide and not get caught. This was true for the first few months until survivor learned how to play the game the way it is played today. Less hide-and-seek and more catch-me-if-you-can. Crouching and hiding is even frowned upon today, when used as a main Playstile.

MMR is not active, they took it out not long after activating it. Also, how do you know it's a smurf account and not just an account of a higher rank's friend who just started playing? I have friends who don't play often but we play together. They're all grey ranks because of how often they play, but it's not like I'm doing it to smurf, I just want to play with friends. (I'm using that just as an example)

The thing is even if that is the case of 3 reds with one yellow/grey friend, their group fun will either be on cost of the low friend with a red rank killer or it will come at the expense of a new low killer and maybe drive them away from the game.

  • That's the thing for me too. In games like league of legends you can see the skin you bought. A killer skin is more like a status symbol to show to others or something. I myself don't get anything but the weapon or the arm to see, except in a mori.

Never bought any skin and if I would just buy my favourit survivor skin and that's it.

Correction, he "sometimes" uses it. Monto uses all the Perks. Hell, he has a Perk Wheel which he will spin and let fate decide what he uses. Monto is Monto. :) The only reason YOU should use NOED is because you "want" to use NOED. Don't make the assumption that he is a top tier player because of that Perk. That has nothing to do with it. I watched his recent Santa video where he was directly hitting people with a clown bottles from half a map away. Monto is top tier because he is Monto. :)

Honestly I found his santa build quite intriguing with hoarder and franklins, to see how determined the indidual survivor is to get his item back. Noed and blood warden seem like a pretty good ensurance for some late game impact in this more meme like build.

  • The most ridiculous thing is when people call this game casual but then use everything and the kitchen sink to gain an advantage.

In form of stretched res, brightening settings, lower graphics and, exclusively on survivor side, checking the killer in the lobby via temp files (glad that stuff got encrypted, so much for being casual, while going out of their way to check the config files).

And to finish again with the statement that those 2 paragraphs above do not approve of any behaviour by the killer but address the partly fault of the swf to let this incident blow out of proportion.

Counterpoint: The SWF team is not the one preventing a player from ending the game. 3/4 players are simply electing not to end the game themself. 1/4 player DOES want to end the game themself but the Killer is saying "no, I'm not letting you." It's not a problem if everyone is fine with dragging the game on. The problem is when one person does not want to drag the game on but a player is actively stopping them from bringing the game to a close.

Then the 3/4 of the team are kind of taking the game hostage themselves, together with the killer.

The 1/4 should rethink to swf with them again, when they decide against using the only means to avoid a dc penalty for the 1/4.

But hey pls stop quoting me. You obviously want to find all the blame for this 30+ minute game in the killer. While I say, yes the killer is a dick and can/should be reported BUT the people in his swf are also at fault for dragging it out and you want to ignore the second point.

Edit: Feel free to.do otherwise but I will chose to ignore you and let you enjyz having the last say in this looping discussion.

I don’t play killer all that often but I’ve gotten all of the ones that I’ve tried for with relative ease, all except for Myers who doesn’t really have very good perks to work with to slow anything down.

I’ve earned Adept Doctor, Hillbilly, Huntress, Cannibal, Spirit, Ghostface, and Demogorgon. It’s funny because some of these I don’t even remember the last time playing them so they may very well have been one and done. I’m a little surprised that I haven’t earned either wraith or hag yet but it’s probably because I thought I had already earned them so I’ve been using other perks. The others I either don’t own or haven’t played yet, or in the case of Twins and Blight have only tried just to dick around with. The trick to getting the adepts is probably in not waiting to get to red ranks before trying.

Well you answered your own not said question. You rarely play killer and are probably in grey or yellow ranks where you don't even need 1 kill to get merciless.

I played with the mindset to provide for and excitement for the other side so I spread the hooks among all 4 and drag games out a little bit. I had so many merciless with no kills in rank 20-10 but once you hit red you won't really drop back down and each new killer adept is harder than the survivor equivalent.

Survivor just need to get out even if the other 3 teammates are dead or not. But like others said this imbalance in effort for the adapt came with the different requirement changes to pip.

Sadly they are unable to change the achievement due to sony and microsoft politics in respect to game achievements.

  • That would be a nice change. Like the entity takes pity on the survivor that earned their inevitable death to be delayed to another trial or something. Or on the other won't give a survivor an escape if they didn't earn it.

But will get people, saying that there will be matches were you don't even have the time to fulfill even 1 of the criteria because killer at op or the game is killer sided or whatever.

I felt the same when they released the nerf but someone said that why should they keep something broken in the game when they can change it now.

If they can fix something that's broken then they should do it. No point holding it off.

They held of for a pretty long time considering that the done change is a matter of minutes to code and was available from the get go.

Multiple Devs have said it IS banable and the teammates are actually not st fault. People need to stop defending this crappy behavior of killers

I'm still in a game right now because a leather face blocked me in the killer shack while I was doing a totem. My teammates tried to help by getting him to chase them. They found a key and all went out the hatch. End game collapse did NOT start so we are just sitting here because bubba won't go ahead and kill me. So we all recorded video footage and are reporting him in game and all submitting tickets. He was in the wrong. Nothjng anyone says can change that. Devs have commented over and over KILLERS CANNOT bodyblock for a long period of time. It is grieving. Survivors bodyblocking killers is not reportable.

First of all to your case, that is a perfect example for a game taken hostage since you can't finish it or exit without dc.

Second many people are not defending the behaviour of the killer since it is ban worthy and reportable. What they are saying is that, in the op's case, the swf teammates (with which the op was probably on coms or able to communicate) didn't finish the game in this situation where nothing else can be done if the killer is such a jerk.

The game didn't have to last more than 3 minutes. They would have needed to accept that there is nothing to be done and simply do as if their teammate had a power outage or whatever. But the "pride" (don't know what to call it exactly) or altruism of an swf dictates to escape all together if possible, which isn't in this case and has to identified and accepted.

And to finish again with the statement that those 2 paragraphs above do not approve of any behaviour by the killer but address the partly fault of the swf to let this incident blow out of proportion.

Edit: maybe the devs could implement a mechanic where a survivor becomes able to phase through the killer, like after getting hit, if the killer stand in their direct vicinity for more than 30-60 seconds.

its a lazy change in my opinion. Weirdly lazy I guess? Because it was just kind of done? Like, why now, why no announcement? No explanation? Just kind of there? Its very...weird and frustrating.

If I had to put on my tinfoil hat and guess I would say they did this change, which should have been easily doable at any point, at this time close after the broken release of the twins chapter to atleast please part (the bigger one) of the community.

Just a carrot so the player are less aggregated and prone to leave dbd after the stick in form of the twins chapter.

It is in the hands of the Wraith to not bodyblock for 30+ minutes. That is 100% fact.

And for toxic people not to be toxic but oh well.

  • @TAG said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1831852#Comment_1831852

I would say the Wraith manually staying in place and locking someone in for 30+ minutes invalidates anything else. It does not matter if the SWF wants to leave or not because the Wraith is committing to it regardless.

Not really from my pov. It is in the hands of the swf to end this matter, unfair as it may be, in a matter of less than 5 minutes but decided to blow it up to 30+.

If the blocked survivor would've been face camped and been the only kill, the whole ordeal wouldn't have taken as long with the same results. Prolonging like this feels like hurt pride or emotion from the swf, to get the fourth guy out at all costs.

I don't aknowledge his overall behaviour but at the point of all gens done (if it ever came to that point or they stopped midway), I would've viewed it (from wraiths pov) as a kind of experiment to see how far an swf is going to stay in the trial, instead of starting the egc, "go next" and simply report the me.

Feels the same as people starting to argue with a toxic player via chat in league of legends. It won't help or improve the situation. The best solution there is finish the game, report the toxic person and go for the next game.

    I think I can't follow you?

  • @MadLordJack said:

Monstrous Shrine has no value unless you camp the basement, and even then it's value is so negligible that literally any other perk is better.

I don't think the point from op is the effectiveness for the user but the impact on the victims increasing the gap from solo to swf even more.

But I feel this is already a void discussion about buffing solo to swf in hindsight to information given to the group (praise be to the almighty 5th perk known as coms -.-).

  • Not really, in accordance to his statement we would need to know the state of the trail at the point of the body block starting. Where 4 gens already done and etc only a minute away or were more than 3 still up?

Why didn't his teammates in his swf just end the game and left him for one trial. It's not as if the world ends if you don't get out everytime just because 4 people want to leave together. Swf increase altruism to the extreme, if he would've been a random with 3 others (swf or not), they would've probably not even noticed the problem and started the egc for the trial to end.

Edit: of course the Playstile of the wraith is an unsportsmanlike conduct but, just from.the information given, nothing seems to be completely set in stone and the whole problematic didn't need to escalate to 30+ minutes.

I'm pretty sure most people would disagree. Killer is the lesser role in most cases. There are very few killers that are the top role in a match and even then its iffy. The game is not balanced around swf it's balanced in favor of survivors currently. That's why theres a huge lack in killers queuing.

When I dc or sacrifice myself on the hook in soloQ, half of the time it's because of my fellow survivors are totally uselss, not bc of the killer playing scumy. The killer can play the fairest possible, if you get potatoes that urban evasion around the whole time, not doing anything usefull, not coming to unhook you even when it is OBVIOUSLY SAFE to do so (obsession being chased or me using kindred), it will still be a really bad game.

Also if killers are so buffed and survivors are nearly powerless, how is it that i have no problem escaping without any perks and items or with a no mither build without iron will?

And yes no matter the build I always do gens, save, heal, bones and get into chases.

So don't get me wrong here, not trying to be toxic or what ever.

But if you have problems as survivor with escaping, than that might be a you problem.

As survivor is absolutely the easiest role in dbd without any doubt.

What are you talking about? Survivors are all the same. On top of that, according to the DEVs, the timeframe between seconds 5 and 6 is more than enough to change your entire build to account for 4x last switching. If you happen to play Trapper or Hag, why don't you always use a bad or expensive loadout to combat flashlights and maps? They can't hold your hand on everything. /S

Survivors are only skins, yes. But at the same time each survivor can represent a totally different premade load-out of perks and addons. 6 Seconds are not enough to change 4 perks and an item plus addons, given the ever increasing pool, if you don't every position of everything by heart.

  • @oxygen said:

Based on the things you refer to as destroying you and how you seem opposed to the use of voice chat in a modern multiplayer game for any reason (opinion harshly incompatible with the standards of the modern gaming industry no matter the genre or game in question), I doubt the game will ever be "fixed" in a way you're happy with.

So I hope you find some other game that you can enjoy more in that case.

Voice comms are standard for the modern age of multiplayer, yes. But dbd by now is nearly the last relic of the asymmetrical 1vs many genre where one side benefits from.it in any way and the other has to be balanced for the potential impact.

Dbd is not balanced for outside voice coms since they are optional and not 100% used.

Most modern multiplayer games like lol, r6s, rocket league, overwatch and others either provide a substitute in form of pings or an own directly build-in voice chat.

Dbd is outdated in this regard. Even league of legends, for example, improved their ping system in the last year's to compensate. Dbd did nothing from it's realese to my knowledge except maybe patchwork via additional perks.

you've got me all wrong. My belief that Doc is OP stems entirely from the fact that I've gotten to R1 with him and I suck. :D

Getting to R1 is not really an indicator for anything by now. I managed to rank from 17 after a long break into high purple with nearly zero kills (playing survivor friendly, going for 12 even hooks and so on) before I took another break.

R1 is just a time investment just like gold rank in most other games like lol or r6s.

  • @Tsulan said:

Here a quick summary of the past months:

    - Old killers switched to the more relaxing survivor role or simply left to play something else.

    - Matchmaking tries it's best to get red rank survivors a quick match, but ends up matching them against new killers.

    - new killers get rofl stomped and decide it's not worth the effort.

Well it feels like the game itself is slugged and bleeding out since the new broken and unfinished chapter and the isolated moris nerf (necessary as it may have been) without equilibrium feels like an additional kick in the nuts for some people.

It's funny that many people argument that behaviour tries to keep the side with more potential income (survivor) happy but on the other hand the also necessary smaller side of killer starts to dwindle.

  • @Zaytex said:

Yeah and all those options suck for the killer. Survivors can have DS up and not even be tunnelled at all but spam getting in and out of a locker once the killer even goes towards them.

Ah okay we are playing the same tune here.

Sorry, I read the quoted post as a defense for ds.

Yeah ds still needs more reliable counterplay than slugging and (if even possible) eating it early. Survivor grow mellon's for balls as soon as it's up, going for unpunishable saves with bt and the like.

  • @Zaytex said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1824223#Comment_1824223

Then you have the fact that if you're actually getting tunnelled, the perk only lasts 60 seconds, punishing the survivor for evading the killer for the period of time after that, almost promoting the idea of letting yourself getting downed so you can use it.

Ehm that's why survivor hop into lockers?

    Killer gets 3 options now,

    1. grab them and eat it (depending on the amount of generators done, the best one)

    2. Camp them for one minute and lose the game

    3. Leave them and let them use it on their second hook and letting them go, free of punishment.

Moris after the second hook are basically useless. They just replace the third hook while giving less BP..

Why should anyone use them now when they dont give the killers any significant benefits.

The main argument is that it denies every form of attemting a last save for the downed survivor, be it by their own ds, wiggling (supported by breakout?), flashlights, bodyblocking or saboing the hooks

  • @NoelleMina said:

I thought past Saboteur was nerfed because it permanently broke hooks? I dunno, I’ll look back on the patch notes soon.

Anyway, Saboteur isn’t good by itself and I don’t think it’s meant to be good by itself. It destroys the one thing Killers have to do in order to play even remotely well in the game. I’m interested in seeing a buff similar to your idea, but it probably won’t be healthy for the game.

Combined with other perks (for good synergy) and a good SWF (optional), Sabotage is pretty annoying to deal with.

The only problem I think Saboteur has is the cool-down that happens when you don’t actually Sabo the hook. That’s also annoying.

What you have in mind was the early change to hooks. They made hooks themselves respawnable with a 3 minute timer but saboteur didn´t get changed itself. It got changed later to only taking a few seconds to break a hook but I think they changed the respawn time of hooks additionally with it from 3 minutes to 1 or less?

You forget one thing: DBD is NOT a competitive game! It's not even balanced around being one cause it is an asymmetrical multiplayer game, not a shooter or anything else. It has no real ranking system (the one we have rn is useless and doesn't say ANYHING. You can rank up just by playing a lot and can still be bad in the game)

It is still team vs team, even while asymmetrical. Your examples are free for all (monopoly) or friends playing with each other (playing catch, in dbd aka kyf). And yes soloq might feel like playing vs everyone in the trial but it is not.

  • @Komodo16 said:

God I swear some of you just want to complain and are insecure with your own abilities! I know DAMN well there are lots of you guys on this forum who can ABSOLUTELY DESTROY swf and key users and some of you honestly suck. Thats how a game play base is but just quit acting like this mori nerf reflects anything. IT DOES NOT!!!

Jesus Christ we all know keys and Moris are too strong but keys are still weaker and need more changes. It isn't showing a double standard or survivor sided devs its simple freaking math. Oh you have like 15 issues needed to be solved and then you have 2 issues you WANT to solve? Well one of them requires half the time to fix all those 15 bugs and the other requires a value change. AND YOU HAVE limited TIME! So please get your guys head out of your rear and quit being belligerent. If they pushed back the updates you all would be upset and this change if it was warned so soon we all know killers would use Moris dont act like there is a double standard over a simple choice to pick the easiest problem for a limited time frame. The true double standard is complaining about how unfair it is and how everyone is using keys when you would do the same if it was keys changed first.

Also keys arent that hard to freaking deal with. I have made it to rank one like everyone else and the fact people lose all the time like they say is laughable. At least on MY servers I am am among the best survivors that I have PERSONALLY met. I can't even play solo without people dying or playing like noobs. Hell @azame can even vouch for this but most red ranks are trash and if you lose to them you have to get better. Some times the game throws unfair maps or what not or maybe an occasional good swf but its not all the time. And I have BARELY had a key make a difference survivor or killer match. And I am not even a freaking killer main. If you think you NEED a mori or key to win you are NOT good. If you think you need a mori to beat a key you are not good. Only when its a actual good swf or immersed survivors where its a major issue. Hell even moris aren't that bad to deal with if you have good teammates but its stronger and will always be. Moris are a more pressing issue but yeah the change should have happened at the same time but it didn't and don't act like the game is hopeless now. It makes you seem Like you're new to the game.

Also little PSA if you know where the hatch is there wont be 3 escapes and if 4 escape with a key you already lost before they used the hatch. Aint now way 4 people should live to all escape through the hatch. Grow some integrity and admit when you aren't that good or when your miss is your fault. On a lighter note, I like this forum and its members even if it is filled with toxicity and idiots. Some people are just really genuine or helpful and some are funny. All of you guys play this game like me and understand some things are wrong but I have faith in all of you I think that all of you can overcome these issues so please quit making the same threads and making this community worse just grow as a person and a player please

The only thing that strike me as odd is still the timing. Mori nerf was called for and asked for for years now and the done fix is easy enough to be implement during a lunch break, a simple change in the variable for required hooks.

Key changes, whatever nature they may or may not be, take time, but they were "promised" as soon as the first mori change several years ago was done, meaning those years could´ve aready been used (probably not) to work on them.

So IF they are only a (few) month(s) or so away from finishing those changes, why not wait those additional months when moris didn´t get their available change for years? The years didn´t kill the game so a little bit more wouldn´t either.

There is just no feasible logic behind it (well there wasn´t also none behind not postponing this unfinished chapter). Again the mori change didn´t JUST get available recently but was for years, just like they had all this time to work on the complex key change.

To the point of announcing anything or having a ptb for the keys, simply do the key research and still hit moris together with them after the ptb but without announcing that both get hit at the same time. This wouldn´t have changed whining about no warning for moris but taken away all ground for cries to unbalance because "one did get nerfed but not the other" like now.

Last but not least I personally don´t care for either since I quit the game early this year and just creep on the forums for entertainment.

  • Have you tried using breakout in combination with the new sabo? Monto (and I know fulltime streamer are not really comparable) made a few videos and it seems rather useful.

Haven’t gotten the usual “Goodbye Forever” first time post yet this week either, surprisingly... unless I missed it, idk.

I think I saw 2, one today and one yesterday but I am too lazy right now to dig them up. But there were two posts about stuff X is unacceptable so I will quit. The one from today was about the rework of autohaven.

The question you need to ask yourself is Why did you play moris in the first place?

Was it to see a cool kill animation that's different then just watching a sky spider take the body away?

or was it to get an advantage and take people out of the game faster?

you can't do the second anymore and there are still a few advantages to a mori.

you can avoid a saved DS.

you can avoid people soboing hooks

    you can avoid borrowed time

you can avoid body blocking squads

Just for confirmation, how would a mori help avoid bt? BT prevents an unhooked survivor from going down but a mori can only be performed on a downed survivor. Did you mean unbreakable or something like that, maybe?

jeez man, ITS A GAME, of course both sides should have fun, what the hell is wrong with you?

how did you play tag? by shooting the person you ran for in the leg so you could get them and claim you are the winner?

how do you play monopoly with your family or friends? do you flip the board in anger when you arnt doing well just so you dont lose and who cares about the other players?

why do you even play ONLINE when you dont care about the people you play against? dear lord we need bots just for people like you.

Okay then let´s look on some proper examples for ONLINE PVP games.

Do you give the other side free kills in overwatch, valorant, cs, rainbow 6 six, league of legends, dota2, fortnite, pubg and so on, to let them have more fun?

Do you let the other side score in rocket league, fifa and other similar sport games, to let them have more fun?

Dbd is not a casual friendly party game like for example worms, gang beasts, mario kart, ultimate chicken horse, move or die and so on, where you play against your friends offline (online can even here be competitive). Heck even in fall guys, people are competitve.

Edit: And to add one proper example for your real life ones, does a team in soccer let the other score to care for their fun?

  • If you truly want to get solo close to swf, they would have to make every perks that becomes obsolete with comms basekit like kindred, bond, buckle up and so on plus an totem indicator.

This and maybe more followed by buffs for killer because they now would have to face potential coms supported swf all the time.

Why is Devour a waste? You get a lucky totem spawn and play well and you have permanent one-tap survivors before two gens have popped. Bit more, everyone is Moriable by 2 gens.

I would say you prove their point with the use of the word "lucky". A perk that requires luck is unreliable and a gamble.

Of course it is many the strongest killer perk once it got to full potential but the downside is so immense given the overall rng of dbd that it is most often not worth it.

I play plague so it's good and again it's the only slow down I use. I use brutal not cause of pop but it makes it easier to break pallets in a chase since plague can't really mind game

Still your argument of "not much slowdown tbh" seems pretty empty given that load out, just because you don't run the most popular ruin+undying.

  • 2+ years ago? Weren't double paletts and palette town maps a thing back then?

My normal build on plague is Brutal, BBQ, Blood Echo and Pop. Not much slow down tbh

Isn't pop already number 2 on the gen regression/slow down scale? Additionally coupled with brutal?

It's ok to complain sometimes and vent. It does get annoying with the usual "survivor sided devs" nonsense. Tha that good you arent doing that. Killer is so easy these days and survivors just need qol the game is pretty boring as them.

It's always astounding when people talk about fun here.

It was not fun for me to get run around whatever object just to get the palett thrown in my face and additionally taunted by tbag and/or flashlight.

The game was the most enjoyable in it's early days when both sides had less of a clue and survivor were more afraid of the killer.

The game had more of a hide and seek feeling, with playing catch as means to prolong the inevitable. Now it's just catch because most survivor know that hiding isn't effective, their are not even one bit scared of the killer or have any respect for them. They are just another guy to chase the survivor.

That's also the reason why I quit for good in the beginning of 2020. I just don't have the time to invest several 1000 hours into just one game to stay on top.

  • @azame said:

Anyone else remember when killers didnt really complain. Dont get me wrong. Survivors were super toxic back then and deserved nerfs but for what it's worth I respect the og killer players. They barely complain despite the ######### they went through.

This is off topic but legacy killers are generally better than legacy survivors. They just went through more. But I digress.

New age dbd is pretty bad in all honesty. You get nerfed for 4 years and still get complaints. "Game is survivor sided" or whatever. It makes me laugh to be honest. Ive been maining killer and havent seen the survivor sided stuff yall been trying to say.

Anyways this probably sounds entitled or whatever but it's just my thoughts. The new killer players are some of the biggest complainers I see. But I can say the newer survivor players have to stop claiming killers like bubba are op lol.

Maybe bcause most nerfs since the beginning can't even be called nerf but rebalancing the game.

I would love to see both sides play 1 day in both roles in a vanilla version with their knowledge of the game now.

Insta moris, insta heal, bnp, mid chase recoverable exhaustion, palett vacuum, double palett/palett city, endless balanced landing, perma saboed hooks and traps,.... And so on.

The game would be so dead if that stuff was still in the game.

  • @Wesker09 said:

Seriously tired of the constant bad teammates, top tier killers running ruin+tinkerer+undying and just not getting to run want I want cause I have to run stuff like ds for a chance like bro come on

You have to run top tier perks because killer have to run their A game in anticipation of the survivors bringing their A game.

It's a self fulfilling prophecy at this point.

  • That's the point of many complaints right now. The timing of both nerfs.

If both would've been done at the same time, a huge part of the anger regarding the mori nerf would lose their argumentative footing.

And before anyone comments me that they just did what was ready while the other is more complex and takes time. The nerf to moris is so basic that it could've been done years ago if it was such a health problem to do it right now. And the nerf to keys was promised at the same time with the first moris nerf several years ago, enough time to get even something this complex done.

  • @ILoveDemo said:

I say this to everyone now, If you have a problem with Keys, then use Franklins. >:O

Franklins simply increases the objectives a killer has to keep track on. 90 seconds until the item is lost. If you smack them at a bad spot you will have to go out of your way to secure it's destruction, 90 seconds semi camping an item on the ground will lose you the game the same way camper should lose all their games.

And survivor already learned to play around franklins by dropping the key until needed.
