It was but survivors said it was op on all the Myers running around with it and so it had to be nerfed into an F tier perk
They nerfed a F tier perk into a F^2 tier perk

Cause if you touch a gen and don't see ruin, you know that the killer has Devour

Communication tools are already built into all or most of the launchers people use for DBD. For example, Steam already has voice chat built in. It is unrealistic to expect people playing a game with a built-in party system on platforms with built-in voice chat to not talk to the friends they're partied up with.
Blight and Oni are balanced around a heavily limited rate of turning while using their powers. This mechanic was clearly not intended and is only possible on PC if you have a mouse with DPI buttons. It is clearly an exploit and should either be addressed as such or made more accessible to players in exchange for other nerfs.
Survivors too are balanced without knowing where every survivor and the killer is all the time, but this is okay just because? And yes, obviously voice chat is everywhere, but if the game was designed with survivors having this much information, perks like kindred, bond, empathy, dark sense and "there's a Hex on the shack" would be basekit.
It's naive to think that this game is designed to 4 survivors have all this kind of information, cause we all know that with exception of a good nurse and spirit, there's no other killer who can stand a chance against a good team.
And even a blight or oni using this high DPI exploit to verse a 4 man on comms, the killer would be at disavantage.

Pig's trap should kill on hatch escapes too*

I've had this situation in a kyf just to see if I could block a key the same as blocking the hatch... It didn't work. If I stood center they could use it from any side, if I stood closer to any side that was a the only side they couldn't use.
Weird, now I starting to doubt myself. Gonna try tomorrow with my switch account and my PC

No, they can. They can't jump in it if it's open but they can use a key to open it no matter where you stand.
Well, I had more than a ocasion where this happened and the survivor was running around me with a key and didn't escape, and I don't think they died on purpose
-
@Zaytex said:
Yup, nothing you can do. The killer can even stand on it and the survivor can still open it. Another reason keys are absurd. I really HOPE they make an animation for it, like a 5-10 second animation of opening it and escaping.
That way if the killer is near it or finds you, you can't just get out for free.
If you're in the right spot, survivors can't open it
-
I already have been on a situation like this. I took my time and get out to make a sandwich and get some soda, then I open a youtube video and watched for a couple of minutes. When I was ready, I closed the hatch and immediately stand right over it, the Kate didn't have time to react, and died to ECG.
If you are the killer, you can do whatever you want and the survivor will have to be alert, so you have this going for you.

It’s definitely used a lot but I’m rank 1 and don’t use any exhaustion perks. But I’m probably a rarity lol. I find it more satisfying to escape chases / loop without any second chances. Makes me feel like I’m actually earning my survival. I don’t shame people who do use exhaustion perks though. Each to their own.
I myself use DH, it's hands down the best exhaustion perk. I don't blame survivors for using it, why would they not use the best perks? As well I don't blame spirit players, it's an extremely good killer. But that doesn't mean that this things aren't problematic, and it's up to the devs to offer a more fairer experience to players.
-
Hatch should be gone. If there's one survivor left, power the gates and start EGC.
-
"JuSt BaiT or wAIt iT".
But yeah, it's one of the obligatory perk on red ranks. DS, UB, DH and BT/Iron Will. Every single game everyone has DH, ocasionally someone has SB, but it's rare. This third health state it's what made me stop playing nurse, too much trouble to make a perfect read just to be outperked and restart the chase
-
Look who's shitting in the tall grass.
-
"every killer that kills me takes no skill"
-
It's better a delay than a broken update
-
If you played a perfect game, there's no reason to not do the bones
-
It's not a bad perk, but it's situational, as you said. You can get good value of the perk, or none.
-
Against casual player almost every killer has a chance, but against good teams, doesn't matter if you are the best Michael Myers of the world, you will be relying on survivors making mistakes to get a chance. If they don't make mistakes, there's nothing the "insert low tier killer" can do about it.
-
I always use small game, it's not a bad perk at all. Besides preventing NOED and take ruin out early, gives a ton of bps
-
OP is lying, please come to the basement, I mean... go there. There's nothing here--I mean there, that could harm you.
-
So every survivor will have the possibility of ban the strongest killers and play against the weak ones? No
-

Uhh... please structure your posts better in the future, difficult to read
Not really

Just no... He's already a weak killer, made weaker still by spine chill and SWF. Leave poor ghostie boy alone

Killers have enough aura perks man lol...
And the kill rate is 75% so what's your problem ?
Survivors have aura reading perks as well, but they don't need to use them cause comms provide that info for free.
And what kill rate has to do with anything? The sheer amount of survivors that kill themselves on first hook or DC after downed is enough to ignore the stats. But if you want to use kill rates to justify anything, do you think nurse should be buffed?

What is this for an argument ?
Discord doesn't affect the survivors' movements, skill check, flashlight saves and stuff. Also, on Xbox and PS4/PS5 there is party chat directly on the system.
Using a software or a macro that directly affect the movement of a player that he/she should not be able to perform in normal circonstances (without the macro), it's cheating.
Doesn't affect movement but give a ton of information that survivors wouldn't have otherwise. So it's okay for killers to use wallhacks? It's just extra information, nothing that change the movement whatsoever
-
Look who's shitting in the tall grass
-
@Canas said:
Why should Oni and Blight players be allowed to take impossible turns during their rush which they weren't intended to perform? These killers were balanced around having strictly limited movement options during their ability, that's called counterplay.
And yet 3rd party tools like mouse macros enable players to cheat the system by giving them the option to bypass this handicap entirely. Oni players probably have to be the worst offenders when it comes to this. Either patch these killers to be unable to exceed a certain turn degree or make these macros a bannable offense.
Well, SWF use 3rd party tools like discord to bypass the handicap of lack of information. Do you think that people who play with discord are cheaters as well?
-
David, obviously

Do you not get at the very highest their cant be any other killers? I can be best michael NA and still lose at the highest level. Why? Because besides killers like nurse or spirit other killers have insane drawbacks. Michael has no anti loop,No ranged attack, No map pressure, starts in a weakened state. Ect. This makes it so killers have a cieling they cant break because of the limits of said character. So you have to play another one who doesnt have such limits. Aka you guessed it nurse or spirit.
If you believe in the power of friendship, everything is possible...
-
wat?
-
You can leave the match without the penalty. Go for the killer and let him hook you, simple

Next step should be to make it a hex perk with a cooldown.
That only activates at endgame when you hit the obsession with your basic attack. Now it's perfectly balanced
-
Are you crazy? Don't you see it would be game breaking OP if didn't have a cooldown? Next you're gonna say that gearhead didn't need the nerf it received post PTB

Just one question
Why aren't totems hiden good?
When i have a hex perk i hear it being destroyed in the first two minutes cause the totems are right next to gens or on the complete open.
As someone said above, even when they're well hidden they make a ######### ton of noise, so good players don't have a problem finding them

@CakeDuty said:
I've never understood why Nurse and Deathslinger attacks get normal attack properties. Nurse I can somewhat get, since she'd be unable to hit most of her attacks without her power, but I feel like they should change Deathslingers cause NOED with him is just stupid. If Legions Frenzy doesn't work with NOED then why should his? I'm comparing these two cause they both do deep wound damage.
It's so fun when survivors are tbagging deathslinger on the gates and he fishes one with NOED... This needs to stay

In term of time difference there's no real difference. I could loop a window with the help of dead hard or i could loop less and use lithe to gain massive amount of distance that i can use to get to another loop. There's no difference in the amount of time you lose.
I really don't get this whining about dead hard for distance. All the other exhaustion perk are better at this than dead hard is.
Dead hard is just more versatile that's why it's more used by experienced players.
All other exaustion perks need some sort of management. To use lithe you need to vault, you have to plan and be aware of your surrounding to use it properly. Dead hard can be used anywhere where there's a pallet or a window, allowing the survivor to play extremely unsafe cause they're only a press of a button to erase a mistake.
The killer mindgamed you and would get a hit? No, DH comes to play and erase that. Now drop a pallet and go to the next loop and play safe. When used by good players, and almost all good players use it, it's pratically a third health state.

@Koukdw said:
Imagine not being able to wait for the dead hard. Next you'll whine about people that 99 sprint burst.
Just get good seriously.
Yes, wait until the survivor DH to a pallet or window🤪
-
The killer have the audacity of hooking someone and don't go to the corner of the map in shame? BLOCK
-
Cool ideas for killer? Not here in BHVR. Every killer will just be a generic and boring cliche, recicling old mechanics
-
Bad game design
-
I only farm for if it has 4 or more offerings to increase the BPS

@DemoHarrington said:
every person that plays killer and says dead hard is op is confirmed rank 20 to 15 . Its easy just wait till the survivor do it and thats it lol
I think dead hard is fine the way it is . Doesnt need a nerf nor a buff .
Wait till the survivor use the dead hard to a pallet or window? DH for distance has no counterplay
-
What are you talking about? Do you not feel scared when there's a lobby full of P3 Claudettes with toolboxes and medkits? It terrifies me

So sick of even hearing about this sad "debate".
"Survivors moving forward is toxic" just listen to how dumb that sounds.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but some opinions are wrong and frankly ridiculous.
No one ever said that. One streamer complained how effective it is to do so and a bunch of people started "EnTiTled KillEr MaiN sAys thaT Is ToxiC tO rUn Forward".
Now we'll have 6 posts of this kind everyday for at least a weak...
-
Uh... M1 continues taking 1 health state regardless of iridescent head.
-
You're being camped and tunneled cause you bring keys, you deserve it
-
I'll take it over DH any time. At least smash hit has counterplay
