If they add him then they need to add a Loch Ness Monster outfit set for him.
-
It seems pretty healthy. If it didn't exist, nobody would worry about doing totems at all and gens would get done faster than they already do.

You can only DC so many times though
I don't come across the bully squads too often, strong SWF all the time, but bully squads are a bit rare.
-
If someone is playing EXTREMELY obnoxiously right at the start of a match, I'll just leave. I don't ever DC any other time so I can take a 5 minute timeout. Against a tolerable squad I'll just play normally, usually I'll have a build that I can get something out of, maybe BBQ stacks or sometimes Rancor.
-
Lobby dodging is the killer's fifth perk.
-
I'd like it's if people just tried harder to make safe unhooks rather than rely on BT all the time. People blame camping killers, but I see unhook rushing happen way more frequently than camping. Give the dude a second to walk away ffs.
-
It's really just needs to be shown who is SWF on the post game screen. I often get accused of being in a SWF when I'm solo, and I often assume I went against a SWF when I have a terrible killer game.
What is it going to hurt to show it post game?

It's not a killer's responsibility to ensure that the survivors have fun. It's their responsibility to kill the survivors. Full stop. End of story.
I never said it was the killer's responsibility to ensure fun. I said it was EASIER and some players want EASY games.
-
The Wraith is pretty similar to old Freddy, I usually play him when I need an Old Freddy fix.
-
Tunneling, like other things in this game, a tactic that makes the game easier for a player. A lot of people seem to want easy games so they sacrifice other player's fun to get what they want.
-
1. Trapper
2. Twins
3. Pig
4. Wraith
5. Clown
-
It's darker than old Freddy in the basement. But I guess deep wounds has to have something going for it to help a killer.
-
Crazy, it almost seems like they are doing an overhaul by replacing maps, HUD, animations...

I have no idea honestly, why?
Is it because he triggered some salty snowflakes and the company told him to stop or something?
I don't know, but I'd say your option seems about right. The community can be pretty toxic at times to really cool people.

Mathieu Cote, that guy is a legend.
His streams were so much fun, too bad he hasn't done one in a long time, but we can probably guess why he stopped.

I like NOED happening when I'm a survivor, it makes for an exciting endgame. Trying to find the totem or pull off a risky save spices things up.
As killer I recently started running it, but only after I have a match against OoO survivors (lately this has been happening more frequently). I won't bring any gen defense perks and just see how it plays out. I get salt sometimes, but oh well, it's just a game.
Some players give NOED users crap, but just ignore the meta powerful perks that killers go against. Just because someone brings it doesn't mean they are a bad player.
-
Endgame collapse was better when it would randomly kill everyone while there was still time remaining on the meter.

I really thought this was going to be about the crypt keeper from Tales from the Crypt.
getting older makes it more difficult to keep up with stuff.
Crypt Keeper would be a great killer to add to the game. He could kill survivors with all his puns.
-
Lunging seems screwed up on a couple killers, Myers being one of them. They will just do a normal swing when I try lunging.
-
Just run perks that will help you as a solo player. Ditch those metas and try something that will actually give you some information.
Kindred, Better Together, Blood Pact, Bond, Small Game, all of these pay off big in solo play. I hit rank one through solo every month and I'm probably just an average survivor skill wise. Don't even use DS or exhaustion perks.
I get matched with good survivors for the most part too. You just need to know how to play solo, it's not impossible or even close to impossible.
-
I have been having a lot of fun running Dead Man's Switch, Furtive Chase, Nemesis, and Rancor on the Wraith. The games are pretty fast but it's fun due to the Rancor Roulette bit that goes on. Someone is getting Rancored no matter how good a team is.
-
Based on the killers you like, I'd say Twins and I'm probably in the minority on this one. The Twins are really fun to play, and not playing them in a way that is too oppressive, with the camping and slugging, provides a great challenge. And they are pretty good and when you run into a toxic team, you have the option to turn on the oppressiveness. Demo is fun too, but he can get bullied easily. With the huge increase in OoO users I've experienced lately, I think the Twins are a great option right now.
-
Throw one at a pallet right before you break it. Throw one at a survivor before you pick them up. From what I've experienced the extra speed boost has been great. Using them with Monitor and Abuse has been fun.
-
I don't agree with the hitboxes thing. I think it's more of killers used to wait until the exact moment to hit survivors because of the old jerky movement. Now that the movement is smoother and survivors aren't jumping around like gymnasts or spinning around like figure skaters it's easier to get the hits. I tried to validate this by using my controller as killer, and it's much easier to get accurate hits than before. I never experienced just swinging near a survivor at air and getting a hit, that seems like it would be a lag issue.
-
I'm really liking it, other than getting used to the new HUD I think the game is performing great and the changes to Wraith and Clown are really cool. The speed bottles open up a hell of a lot more gameplay options than I originally thought.
-
There is a lot of good in this patch, the clown and wraith updates are great, and whatever they did, it made it a hell of a lot easier to play killer with a controller now.

Sure, moving icons around will definetively fix all console issues.
They have said it's a complete overhaul, not just moving icons around. I suppose you could wait a couple hours and find out, but I guess the better option is to just immediately complain about it instead.
-
Maybe the new HUD will help address the console frame drops.

Wraith needs a windstorm and Trapper a brown / yellow bag per default. Pig and Demo need actually good addons.
You know exactly what's up. Wraith and Trapper are so much fun to play, they just need these two things to be great.
-
That solo survivor should be buffed to SWF level. I like the solo queue and doing this would spoon feed players information, take away a lot of the critical decision making a players do, and make the game way too easy.
-
Wait, hear me out. FUKUHACHI. The answer is right in front of us. F U. We know what that means. HATCH. I. OMG they are saying F U to the hatch. NO MORE HATCH GANG.

This is important, this means something.

I rarely experience either at red ranks, yet you're experiencing it 3 times in a row?
You're having a very unlucky day my guy.
I have the same experience, I really hardly ever get tunneled or camped. I wondered if this was just a red rank thing, so I started a fresh account from 20 and played into the purple ranks, and still it rarely happened.
Being slugged though I can't say the same for, I get slugged all the time.
-
The way I look at it is that the perks determine the difficulty level of the game. Meta perks provide super easy mode while the less stronger perks will give more of a challenge.
-
Yeah it's useless, that's probably why nobody runs it.
-
Just Get It Over WIth: If a survivor disconnects or is sacrificed on hook within 60/90/120 seconds of the trial start, the killer may explode themselves, instantly ending the trial with a Brutal Killer rating.
This should be base kit actually.
-
Intensely focusing one objective, while completely ignoring all the others. So in theory someone could be tunneling players, generators, totems, chests, whatever.
-
They said the new HUD will allow them to do more things in the future that they can't currently do. Maybe adding color blind mode is one of those things.
-
I'm probably the only person who would like the Spirit's vault animation reverted. I just liked that it made for some surprises when playing as and against her.
-
To be fair though PoE was created based off an already established type of game, and has had a lot longer development time. DbD is a fairly original concept and the developers are probably still learning as the game grows. It is so unique that comparing it to different games/teams isn't going to give you an accurate evaluation.
-
If they didn't add the extra 10 days and do the "gift the rift" thing I wouldn't have finished it before it closed.
-
Throw a yellow bottle at the steps to lure survivors into running into the basement for a speed boost.
Throw a yellow bottle at a wall in the furthest corner of the map to lure the survivors into a dead zone.
Throw a yellow bottle at the edge of a cliff to lure the survivors to run over the edge of it.
Throw a yellow bottle at the highway to lure the survivors into being hit by a semi.
I am also a coyote who chases roadrunners in real life.

Sure, i once played vs players with the names "chocolate icecream", "vanilla icecream" and "strawberry icecream" which where in each others friends list, but it COULD have been a coincidence and they played solo and just ended up in the same lobby. Like you said, there is no way to tell 100%. Very good argument.
If SWF is that obvious, which they rarely are, why would this person who doesn't like SWFs enter a match with them? Your example doesn't add any value toward answering this person's question. My point gave him 1 good reason not to quit, the reason being that he might not be going against a SWF.
-
You can quit any time you want, just select "Leave Match" and it's done. But since there isn't a way to 100% identify a SWF, you could just end up quitting over every little thing that doesn't go your way, even if you were up against a bunch of solos.
-
Are you streaming the book on the same device that you are playing on? If it's the same device, the audiobook could actually be buffering, so you wouldn't notice a drop. Try streaming a live broadcast on the same device that you are playing on and see what happens.

As an FYI to your last point, these are for all platforms, the change was made as the challenges weren't registering correctly - so they were changed to 1BP
Wow, that was a fast response, thanks!
-
Fire Up and No One Left Behind seem like they could be added to base kit. Both aren't really powerful perks but they might make things a little more interesting as games go on. Fire Up could help out a struggling killer a bit while NOLB could encourage people to save their teammates last minute.

We tried removing 99ing gates in various ways. They all sucked really badly. This is why the Killer can open a gate if the Survivors are being hoseheads about not starting EGC.
Those Hoseheads, don't they realize that once they open the exit gates they can have all the free beer and sausages they want?
-
This seems a bit overdramatic to me. I play on PC, xbox, and windows and the vast majority of people I play with and against at just about any rank are console players. I also don't have the technical problems the OP has, maybe he should check his network settings. I have seen a hacker lately though, just 1, and it's been the only 1 I've seen in months.
