  • The amount of effort it takes to do well as a killer against a SWF is the complete opposite of the amount of effort it takes to do well as survivor in SWF.

Saying 95% of the SWF groups playing this game are not playing to win sounds unsupported. Just because they don't win, doesn't mean they don't want to win. I don't think anyone plays this game hoping to lose. Well except maybe Clown mains.

  • They probably didn't change DS when they changed Ruin because they are two totally different things.

  • Damn, didn't you know? Nobody has ever escaped against Pyramid Head. Nobody. Ever.

  • The only difference I've noticed with console players is they are using a lot of luck offerings. I would never see them before crossplay, now they are really frequent.

  • What makes you say that consoles have a hard time forming parties? Most the console players I've gone against are obvious SWF parties.

  • How can you tell if they are on PC or on another console? The globe icon is the same for both.

Considering console FPS is complete garbage at the best of times, these new graphics will either make or break the game. Indoor maps are stupid laggy. Demogorgon can't move 5 feet without breaking FPS. A survivor can 360 us and it breaks the FPS trying to swing at them. So you'll have to forgive us console peasents for being wary of the new graphics that could just destroy the game for us.

I also play on console, so I wasn't talking down to console users or anything. My point is that with my average hardware, I saw considerable improvement when playing on the new maps. Not every PC was having problems with the new map, so if the devs are targeting systems with lower hardware specs as their play base, console might see an improvement too. We won't know until it's out.

When they are lagging streamers with strong pcs even? Im afraid my ps4 will explode.

Console might be ok with the new graphics. I was in the PTB using average hardware and I actually noticed an improvement with my FPS. And I don't think console optimization has an end date, it's always been a work in progress with the devs making improvements to the game all the time.

  • There needs to be something in the post game screen that says who was using SWF. I'd like to know if I am either a bad player, or just at a disadvantage during the match. This screen would benefit both killer and solo survivor and better allow people to judge their skills.

  • Detective's Hunch is great, but with the auras lately it should be called Detective's Eye Exam.

  • They shouldn't change the survivor base kit, this would take all the challenge out of the experience. Part of the fun for me is not knowing every little thing about what is going on in the match. If there is information I feel I really need, I can run a perk like Kindred or Detective's Hunch to compensate.

We already have the HUD which provides a ton of info if you pay attention to it. Hexes, obsession status, injured and hooked status, oblivious status, how much more information is needed before all the surprises are taken out of play.

I don't like the idea of a totem counter at all, at the most there should just be an audio queue when one is broken like when a hex totem is broken. Pay attention to the sounds and you'll know how many totems were broken.

The game doesn't have a difficulty selector, but SWF turns the survivor experience into easy mode. Buffing solo to SWF level would be like never taking the training wheels off your bike.

  • It's a great perk and has saved me plenty of times. It stops screams from doc, clown, freddy, pyramid head, iron maiden, and infectious fright. And not scaring birds is actually pretty underrated. It's a perk that nobody expects to see at high ranks, but I run it because it can counter so many perks and things that I find annoying when I play survivor.

  • I'd just like something at the end game screen that would show SWF or solo. Before the game would cause too many problems.

  • Detective's Hunch can be very helpful in a solo queue as it can be tough tracking totems without it.

  • I had that problem right before the WiFi card died on my xbox. Try switching to a wired connection if you aren't on one already.

  • I'd give Legion back the ability to apply Hex: Third Seal from Feral Frenzy.

  • If you have game pass ultimate you can use that to play DbD from there for PC. I switched from Xbox a while back for the same reason, I just wanted new players to play with instead of the same ones over and over. It has been a much better overall experience. It's pretty cool when i land in the same lobby as some of my favorite streamers and the devs.

  • SWF is the elephant in BHVR's room and I like the idea of changing perks based on SWF. But since it's so popular, it's going to be hard to change it. There is no difficulty selection on this game, and going SWF and using the meta perks put the game in the easiest mode possible for a player.

I had an idea that was similar, but instead of limiting the survivor's perks, give killers 3 bonus perks that only activate based on going against SWF teams. Additionally, if a player didn't want to use the bonus perks, they could leave the slot empty for a bloodpoint bonus after the game.

  • If I start making progress on the free track, then later decide to switch to the premium track, will the premium items from the levels I already unlocked be available or do I have to unlock the premium from the start to get them?

I wish people would just forget the "free hit effect" and just make MoM do something different.

A free hit effect is too difficult to balance around. It's either too powerful or its not, which can be wildly shifted due to the meta. And right now in the current meta, 2/3rds of the killers cannot afford to spend an extra hit to pressure the survivors because generators are done that quickly, let alone if multiple people are running the perk or running multiple second-chance perks.

I agree, something new and fun but true to the spirit of Ash. The idea I had was to be able to repair generators and cleanse totems while in the dying state after filling the recovery bar. This would go with the theme of his other perks and prevent slugging.

  • If it were changed to protect the unhooker like borrowed time protects the hooked person, it would help against hook campers. It would be like having half of the old borrowed time, just only let it be usable once a match.

  • I'd like a houserobe, hair curlers, and a rolling pin outfit.  Oh and a French Maid one too please.
